Rarity's Ice Cold Romance

They finally got back to the castle, and as they went inside, Snowcat activated his force field, and led Rarity to her room.

"Oh, Snowcat....today was so wonderful....I hope that we can go to Ponyville tomorrow, so you can meet my friends.", Rarity smiled, kissing his nose.

Snowcat grinned, "Of course! I'd love that! Good night, My Darling Snowflake."

"Good night, Darling."

As Winter Breeze followed him, she asked, "Where will I be sleeping, Snowcat?"

"You'll be sleeping with me, Winter. When we go home to the Northern Edge this spring, you'll get your own room!", he smiled, nuzzling her, "Please, you can call me Dad if you want."

"I'll call you Pappy!! How's that?", she asked, as they got to Snowcat's room.

"Hmm....it's catchy! I like it!", he replied, as he changed into his pajamas, Winter Breeze did the same.

As he turned out the lights and got in bed, he asked, "It's not too cold in here for you, is it?"

"Of course not, Pappy! It's perfect! Can I ask you something?", Winter smiled, snuggling up to him.

"Sure, we're family now, aren't we?", he grinned.

"How come you only visit your aunts in the winter?", she asked.

Snowcat replied, "Because I'm not big on warm weather. It would literally kill me. I was born in a very cold climate, and my parents died when I was 14. After that, I tried to move in with my aunts, but I couldn't take the heat, it wasn't what I was made for. So there I stayed, alone. So I visit only in the winter."

"Will Rarity be able to come with us this spring?", Winter asked.

"Well, she might want to go back to Ponyville and stay with her friends until we get married. I don't know, it's her decision. You can ask her tomorrow if you like. Good night, Winter.", he answered.

Winter hugged him, "Good night, Pappy!"

Meanwhile in Rarity and Sweetie's room.....

"Who was that filly with  Cat?", Sweetie asked.

Rarity smiled, "He adopted her at the Canterlot Orphanage today. Her name is Winter Breeze, she's very sweet."

Sweetie asked another question, "Are you going to go with them when they go home to the Northern Edge this spring?"

"Well, I.....I don't really know.... I know my friends would miss me...and I would miss them....and there's you too....but I could come visit every now and then. I'm sure Snowcat wouldn't mind. I just don't know....."

The next day.....

Everyone was at the table, eating breakfast.

"I trust you two slept well last night?", Celestia asked, looking at Rarity's parents.

"Oh yes! Quite comfortably. Thanks for asking.", Magnum smiled.

Snowcat came down the stairs with Winter on his back giggling, "Wheee!"

"Good morning, Dear!", Snowcat smiled, kissing Rarity's cheek as he sat Winter down and took a seat.

"Good morning, Darling! Good morning, Winter! Are you ready for today?", Rarity beamed.

"We sure are! Hey, Rarity, can I ask you a question?", Winter grinned.

"Sure, Winter, honey, what is it?", she replied.

"Are you going to come home with us? When we leave this spring?"

"Well, I've been meaning to talk with your father about that. I've been thinking, and I just have a question.....how often can I visit my friends in Ponyville?", Rarity answered, turning to Snowcat.

"As often as you like! We may not have a train station, but I'm a master at portals and teleportation! So that won't be a problem!", Snowcat replied, kissing her lips.

Rarity looked at him in awe, "A master of portals and teleportation?"

Luna smiled, "Of course! His ancestors invented the art!!"

"Oh my stars! Twilight is going to LOVE talking to you! She's quite the fan of teleporting!", Rarity exclaimed.

"Well then, we'd better not disappoint her and get going!", he grinned, as they finished breakfast.

They went out to the courtyard.

"Okay. Now, Rarity, on my right, Winter on my left. Now, hold on to me.....", Snowcat ordered, as his horn started glowing.

"We're ready, Pappy!", Winter beamed, as they grabbed on to him.

And they were gone, just like that.
