There was his love, Rainbow dash, who was closest to him. Next there was Twilight Sparkle and the rest of her friends, looking weak still from the last few days. Then last were the two royal sisters, his sisters, all of them giving him a look as though he had just broken every law known to pony kind. He had just came back from the dead granted, but it had been done before so to speak, Discord from stone, Tirek from Tartarus, and even Luna from the moon. "How are you alive dear brother", Luna broke the silence as the others started to calm the looks of absolute shock from their faces. "My dear sister, when my soul left this plane of existence, I was greeted by our family, and all of my friends past", Fury said as he looked to the sky. "They were glad to see me, don't get me wrong, but they said that I couldn't stay" "But for whatever reason would they not let you stay", Luna said, with a bit of excitement in her voice. Celestia even perked her ears up and looked at Fury directly for his answer. "They said that I could not stay, because my oath in this world was broken, and I had to come back to fix it, but as a mortal", Fury Flight as he returned a look of truth back at Celestia. She seemed to accept the answer, and looked back to her sister to reply. Before Luna could speak however, Rainbow dash had already opened her mouth to speak. "What vow are you talking about Fury, and why didn't you tell me", Rainbow said, a bit of red beginning to line her cheeks. "A long, long time ago, I took a vow to protect equestria from all threats, foreign and domestic, even if it was against myself. I took the vow of the eternal guardian from the previous guardian, my father, Galaxo The Great", Fury flight said to the group of ponies before him. "You mean that your father it the great Galaxo, the father of the universe, but I thought that the Royal family just came to be", Twilight said, with stars in her eyes. "Even though we have been here thousands of years my student, we were born to parents just like you, but in this case, our parents were creators of the world and universe", Celestia said to twilight almost embarrassingly. "Our parents were two of the seven great alicorns, Galaxo The Great and Princess Paramour. though most contribute our birth to a white alicorn with red hair", Celestia said, with a smirk at the end. "This vow was sealed by a deep magic, a magic beyond this world or the next, strong enough to bring me back from death's embrace. At least until I can train the next guardian to take my place", Fury flight said calmly. "But who will be the one to take on the life of the great eternal guardian of equestria my brother", Luna asked as she looked to the sky. "One who has already proven that she is up to the task by not only this week, but by events of the past and fate itself. Twilight Sparkle will be my successor, and the next eternal guardian of Equestria", Fury flight said, staring straight at Twilight as he said it. The Guardian"But why me? Why did the ponies of fate choose me", Twilight said, looking perplexed about the matter at hand. "Surely there is a pony more qualified than me, most of the times you spoke of were either dumb luck and just plain stupidity", she said, facing Fury Flight with a questionable glance. "Twilight, did you know that the very meaning of courage and bravery is being scared to death, but riding into battle anyway", Fury said with a smile. "And as for why, there is no better choice, you are the element of magic, and a princess of equestria. You have shown time and time again that you are worthy of such a position". "But I understand the stress that is being brought before you, and know that you have time by your side this time Twilight". "What do you mean by that Fury Flight, and why do I have so much time", Twilight asked Fury. "You are an alicorn Twilight, and this is not the proper time or day to start your training, so feel free to find me when you are ready", Fury Flight said as he took a small device from seemingly out of nowhere. It looked like a whistle, but had an amplifier on the end of it. "This whistle can only be heard by me, and you can call me whenever you are ready", Fury said as he gave Twilight the whistle. Fury then turned to his sisters and bowed. "Fury, you are the one pony in equestria that should not bow to us, but rather we should bow to", Princess Celestia said as she and her sister bowed in return to Fury Flight. The other ponies then bowed to Fury Flight, and he politely accepted in the old royal Canterlot fashion, as his sister Luna did. He then flared his wings to take off, but was interrupted by a rumble in the ground. "What was that", Rarity said, as the ground began to rumble again. The ground began to rumble again, louder and harder. A sound of laughter could be heard coming from the ground. A single shadow began to raise from the ground around them. The shadow began to take form into that of a pony, one familiar to them all. The body of a king, his horn was red and bent like that of a rhino. King Sombra stood before them, but something was different about him, black alicorn wings now sat upon his back. "How is this possible, how could you escape", Fury Flight said, staring into the eyes of the enemy. "Sombra, but we watched you die in the crystal empire", Twilight said as she prepared her magic. "Sombra, that was a long time ago, that name. No, I think it is time that I introduce you to the real me. My name is Kaorn, the lord of chaos", Kaorn said proudly. He then flared his own wings and took off to the north. "What does he mean by that, his name and all", Twilight said, looking to Celestia. "I think that even with my knowledge, I am not the one to ask", Celestia said, looking to Fury Flight. "It has been so long, but it seems that your training will be against a true god Twilight, Kaorn is one of the seven great alicorns who created the universe. He then turned on his brethren and waged war on them and the world, killing off all of the artificial alicorns that were created. me and the first element bearers sealed him away in a parallel universe without time to keep him there for all eternity, but he escaped and took the form of King Sombra, and the rest is history", Fury said, beginning to hang his head. "It took the combined strength of six alicorns and the elements of harmony to stop him, and you defeated him when he combined his weakened form with the heart. With him now back to full strength, I fear that we are not enough to stop him". "Then you are lucky that we are the current element bearers, and have a friendship so strong with each other", Twilight said, smiling at Fury Flight, and then looking to her friends with a adventurous grin. Kaorns returnKaorn flew north towards the Crystal Empire, his old home. He would take back his empire, and raise the army of Equestria's destruction. He would have to rid the castle of it's current residents, but that wouldn't be too hard, a single artificial alicorn and her unicorn husband. The real test would be when the elements of harmony and his arch enemy arrived, but he already had a plan for them. The elements drew their power from their friendship, and they had proven themselves fairly powerful. His magic was what brought Friendship into Equestria, and he was sure he could take back his gift. He thought it over a little, and that would take a very large sum of power, a sum that he was afraid to use as he would need every shred of power to wage the war he was going to start. He would take the soul of one of the six elements and make them useless, but which one would he choose. There was the alicorn, which was too risky, then there was the unicorn, but she was too weak minded and her soul would snap. The two earth ponies were too easy of a challenge, then there were the two pegasi. He seen the way the rainbow one stood by almost sheltered by his mortal enemy wait, that's it. He would steal her soul and use her against his enemy and the elements alike. As he neared the empire, the clouds began to darken and crackle, almost as if they welcomed back their former ruler with open hooves. A force field sprang up around the empire, but this time it did not deter the dark grey alicorn. He used his dark magic to force down the field like it never even existed. A single blue light shot up into the heavens like a beacon, warning equestria that the Crystal Empire was under attack. Kaorn sliced through the air down to the lower balcony of the Crystal castle, landing on the balcony by the railing. Princess Cadence and Shining Armor stood ready for battle against their new invader. "I will make this very easy for your pathetic little minds, surrender and you may live to be my pets", Kaorn demanded. "Get this through your thick head, Sombra or whatever you are, NO....", Cadence defied. "Sombra, my name is Kaorn, Lord and Master of Chaos", Kaorn said proudly. "no..., not here", Cadence said, taking a step back slowly. Kaorn smiled and brought forth a sword of shadow with his magic. Shining Armor drew his own sword and charged Kaorn. Kaorn easily side stepped him and plunged his sword to the hilt into the chest of Shining Armor. Shining fell with a little more than a whimper, and Kaorn dislodged the sword from his shoulders, stained by it's newest kill. He smiled and turned to Cadence, who used her magic to create a force field around her for protection. Kaorn kept up his smile and used his magic to thrust his sword through the force field, and the pony inside. Cadence's breath shallowed and quickened as she looked down to see the sword sticking out of her chest and her life blood oozing out around it. The force field fell around her as her magic failed. Kaorn removed the sword, and with a half cocked grin, swung his sword at the base of her neck. Her headless corpse fell to the ground in a pool of her own blood. Kaorn held the head of the Princess with his magic as he produced a spear and stuck the tip into the head. He heard the cry of a young foal coming from inside of the castle. Kaorn walked into the castle and saw the young white alicorn, crying at the sight of her parents death. He smiled as his horn lit up a dark red. The young foal disappeared into thin air with a pop. "Have fun in the dimension that once held me little one", Kaorn said as he walked back out to the bloody body strewn balcony. "SLAVES OF THE CRYSTAL EMPIRE, HEED MY CALL", Kaorn bellowed into the kingdom. One by one, the citizens began to come out to the castle. "YOUR PRINCESS IS DEAD", he said, holding up the spear that held Princess cadence's head. "YOU ARE NOW UNDER MY COMMAND", he bellowed out as the citizen's eyes began to turn a blood red and glow. Their bodies began to mutate into perverted black alicorns. "TAKE FLIGHT MY ARMY OF DESTRUCTION, WE WILL ATTACK EQUESTRIA HEAD ON", Kaorn said as he took to the air. The army followed and began to trek south towards Canterlot. The Friendship cave"Celestia, move as quickly as you can back to Canterlot and ready your troops for war", Fury Flight said beginning to pace around in a circle. "What do you need of me my brother", Luna asked. Fury turned around and looked to his sister. "Luna, take you and your most trusted guards and go to the start and hide there until you here from me", Fury said looking into his sister's eyes. "But I want to fight in this war brother! I want the chance to protect my home as well as you", Luna said with great volume in her voice. Fury looked at his sister with a furious look, but then softened to one of a caring brother. "My dear sister, I don't want to see you get hurt. I guess I have no choice in the matter, take your guards and soldiers to Ponyville", Fury said reluctantly. "What about us Fury Flight", Twilight asked, looking back at her friends. "You six are coming with me, to the north", Fury said. The ponies agreed to Fury's terms and left accordingly. "Are you sure about this Fury, it sounds like we are walking into a trap", Twilight asked Fury. "It is because we are, but with a trick up my sleeve. We are going north, but first we must go west to the start", Fury said, walking to the edge of the road by the field. "What is the start", Twilight asked puzzled. "The start is the place where Equestria was founded, or as most ponies call it the Friendship Cave", Fury said looking to the west. "Why are we going there, our friendship is very strong", Twilight said very matter of factly. 'Were not going to the cave itself, but rather behind them. There is another cave behind it that we must get to. It is the cave of the eternal guardian", Fury said testing the wind with his wings. "You mean the legendary cave of the guardian, the one place unexplored because no pony has been able to find it, it must find you", Twilight said in a fan girl awe. "How can we find a cave that has eluded every great explorer in history". "You will have what no pony else did, a guide to show you the way. I will take you into the cave, where the elusive guardian ritual and vow will be presented to you and grant you the power of the guardian", Fury said softly. Fury then began to walk down the road towards the west. The rest of the group began to follow him, starting the long trip to the Cave of Friendship at the western edge of Equestria. Once in Canterlot, Celestia began rallying the troops for war, the troops fell over each other, as it was the real deal now and not a drill. The sky began to darken as the last of the troops fell into place. All at once, red alicorns fell from sky like steady rain, making craters as they landed. The alicorns then charged towards the nearest soldier, blasting them with a paralyzing spell and running them through with a sword. She watched in horror as her soldiers began to drop like flies. Celestia gave the signal to retreat, but there were hardly any soldiers left to heed the call. Celestia flew into the battle, using her magic to save as many soldiers as she could, but it was folly. The alicorns just kept coming, then she heard the laughter, she knew that laugh. Discord landed beside Celestia and used his magic to try to stop the onslaught. The waves of alicorns seemed to waiver, but then charged discord all at once. "Run Princess, I will hold them off as long as I can", Discord said as he sent an alicorn careening away. "You don't have to do this Discord, I can still save you", Celestia screamed. "I doubt that, but after a life of evil, maybe it will be good to die on the side of good", Discord said, dodging a sword thrust. A shadow drifted among the army of alicorns. Kaorn drifted closer to Discord in his shadow form, closer and closer, until he was at Discord's back. His shadow formed solid matter into his body behind Discord. Celestia tried to scream, but it was to late. A scythe appeared with Kaorn's magic, and then lodged itself into the back of Discord. The front of the blade struck out from his chest, and Discord began to choke as his blood poured from his mouth. He hit his knees as Kaorn pulled the scythe from his back, and then Kaorn swung his scythe, beheading the draconiquis. Celestia's eyes were so blurry from the tears that she didn't see the club hit her, knocking her out. The same happened in Ponyville as it did anywhere he and his army struck. Soon most of Equestria had fallen short of a few that called themselves a resistance. It seemed that all was lost and Kaorn finally achieved his original goal of conquering the world. The seven travelers reached the cave, tired and weak from the journey. It had been three days since they had departed, and a day and a half into their journey Twilight received the news of her brother's death. The sky was a red color, and the sun nor moon had risen during the trip. Fury Flight was beginning to worry as he had not heard from his sisters. They reached the opening of the cave, and Twilight started to get a weird feeling, but she kept it to her self. As they walked into the cave, Rainbow dash noticed drawings on the wall. They looked like ponies, but had a blue smoke trail behind them. "The wendigo, they were released after the alicorn war by Kaorn, and the rest is history", Fury said walking towards the back of the cave. He turned around and looked to the six ponies. "Now before we enter, you must follow my every command, or else you will be lost in the great eternal maze forever", Fury said, and then turned around and walked straight through the wall! Twilight looked amazingly, and walked up to the wall and placed her hoof against the wall, expecting it to go through. Her hoof touched the cold wall. "You must believe that there is no wall", came a voice. "Fury, is that you", Twilight called out. "Yes, walk through the wall all of you, come on now, we must hurry", came Fury's voice. "I have been waiting a long time for you twilight sparkle", came a voice that sounded from everywhere as Twilight walked through the wall. There was a single path, and smoke upon both side of the trail. Twilight looked around for the voice as she walked down the path. "Stay on the path, or be lost forever", the voice called out again. "Who are you", Twilight called out into the darkness. "My name is Kronos, Master of Time. I am one of the first seven", The voice cut through the silence. "Where are you, Kronos", Twilight said. "I am in the cave you seek, I have been guarding it for thousands of years", Kronos said. "Fury Flight said that you died a long time ago, during a great war", Twilight said following the path as it lead her to an unknown destination. "I am the Master of time itself, do you not think that I could go back and keep myself from being killed", Kronos stated bluntly. "But if you saved yourself, why didn't you save the others", Twilight asked. "It is not that simple Ms. Sparkle, I broke one of my own laws doing what I did, but I did it for a good reason", Kronos said. "What purpose Kronos", Twilight said, unaware that Fury Flight was now eavesdropping on her conversation. "Who are you talking to Twilight, or are you just asking yourself questions", Fury Flight asked, stopping to talk to twilight. "You can't hear the voice, you can't hear Kronos", Twilight said perplexed. "He cannot hear me, because these words are for you alone Twilight. You are traveling to the cave to receive the power of the guardian, but he come here for another purpose. There is a spell locked away in this cave so terrible that no pony, even us creators, dared to cast it. The Constellation spell", Kronos' voice resounded in the air. "Fury Flight, what is the Constellation spell, and why do you want it", Twilight asked enraged. "So he is really alive then", Fury said softly. "The constellation spell was created by the first six, to seal away Kaorn, but the spell had a counter, so to ensure that it would work, they made the spell so that when cast, both the caster and casted would be sent to their own constellation in the sky. They became afraid of it's power, and thus entrusted to me. I locked it away in this cave long ago, to ensure that no pony would stumble upon it", Fury said after a moment of silence. "ah, there is the cave", he said, pointing to a light. "Why do you want that spell for if it is so dangerous", came the voice of Rainbow Dash, surprising the two ponies. "It is the only way to bring peace and balance to this world", Fury said walking to the light. They entered the cave and were immediately taken aback, there were torches alight all around, and a great eye adorned the back wall. A blue light began to congregate in the center of the cave, until it took the form of a tall alicorn. He was a blue alicorn with a flowing white mane, and his cutie mark was a clock with hands that were moving. Upon his head was a crown with a hourglass. "Kronos, the Master of Time", Fury said, bowing to the god like pony. "I am Kronos, but please hold the bowing, for we haven't much time. Already Kaorn has defeated all of Equestria's armies and it's princesses, save for one", Kronos said looking at Twilight. "We must begin the vow right away". First Fury Flight walked up to the eye. The eye began to glow a soft white. Then he raised his hoof and spoke. "I , Fury Flight, hereby do relinquish my duties as Guardian of The Elements of Harmony and of Equestria". "Twilight, walk up and stand beside him", Kronos said as Twilight did as she was told. "Now repeat after me, I Twilight Sparkle, Vow to protect all of Equestria and the Elements of Harmony from all danger, both foreign and domestic". "I Twilight Sparkle, Vow to protect all of Equestria and the Elements of Harmony from all Danger, both foreign and domestic", Twilight repeated. The eye then glowed a bright white as energy transferred from the eye to Twilight. Twilight feinted after the eye went dark. She awoke to see Kronos staring down at her. "Ah, you are awake", He said with great amusement. "How long was I out", Twilight asked shakily as she stood up. "About ten minutes", Fury answered her. "Now about the spell Kronos". "Before you take the spell and use it against him, maybe you should take this into account, After you cast this, your soul will never be able to leave this world, bound eternally to the stars in the sky. Kaorn was able to escape every universe and dimension we put him in, how long will the stars really hold him. There is another spell locked in the vault that you might want to know about", Kronos said to Fury Flight, who got a very confused look on his face. "What do you mean another spell", Fury answered. "It is a spell that is more deadly that even the constellation spell, the god ripping spell. It is a spell that me and your father made to deal with Kaorn after we locked away the constellation spell. It is a spell that rips the heart out of a great alicorn, but it takes a lot of power to pull off, we had figured six full grown alicorns could cast it", Kronos said. "There may only be three alicorns left in this world", Fury said. "Right, but I have been adjusting the spell slightly, and have come up with a solution. It will work when a great alicorn sacrifices their soul as tribute, and a guardian preforms the spell, current or former", Kronos said slowly. "But that would mean that you...", Twilight said. "Yes my dear, but I have live a long life and quite frankly, I believe it is time to leave this world to the next generation and join my brethren in the beyond", Kronos finished. "Now then, off we go to the Crystal Empire", Kronos said. "How are we going to get there in time", Twilight said. "I'll show Ms. Sparkle, everypony take each other's hooves, and hold on tight", Kronos said as his horn light up a white, and with a popping noise, the eight ponies disappeared from the cave and reappeared at the entrance of the Crystal Empire. The Final BattleThe Crystal Empire was not even a shadow of it's former glory. Every thing was gone, in piles of red ash. The land was dying, turning everything on it to ash, and it was spreading beyond the empire. The travelers stared at the only thing still standing, the Crystal castle. It was not anything like the original, perverted into a black castle of death. As the ponies reached the castle, Twilight and her friends had to avert their eyes from the lower balcony, where a spear was stuck there, holding the head of her sister in law. Inside the castle, in the throne room, sat Kaorn. His throne was black and had many sharp points on it. Above him to either side was a cage, holding one of the royal sisters. Luna began to hit the bars of her prison, and began shouting at her captor. "You coward, how dare you keep us in cages and purge Equestria of all it's life. Why don't you free us to see who would truly win without your mighty army behind you", Luna screamed. "Why would I release you when I have already won the war, my army is now marching on your little resistance. You are now nothing more than a pest to me", Kaorn said as he used his magic. Lightning shot out and met the bars of the cage. Luna screamed out in pain as the energy past through the bars and into her body. She began to convulse with the electricity running through her. Celestia shouted down to Kaorn from her own cage. "STOP IT! Why don't you just kill me, I am the ruler of equestria. Leave my sister out of this, she has endured enough", Celestia screamed out hoping to draw Kaorn's attention. Her ploy worked as he turned his attention away from Luna, and then fixed his magic to Celestia. Her body began to convulse and twitch as the energy coursed through her. She began to feel weak and lightheaded. "Take care of Equestria dear sister, and never give up hope for the future", Celestia softly spoke to Luna. "No, don't you dare leave me here alone sister", Luna said watching as her sister faded away. Celestia closed her eyes and her body dropped to the bottom of the cage, twitching from the electricity that was still in her body. Kaorn laughed as he then turned his attention back to Luna, but was interrupted as the door to the room exploded. The elements came in ready for action, But Kaorn was ready for their attack. They activated the elements, and Kaorn prepared his magic, but watched dumbfounded as they attacked the princesses. The cages easily ripped open, releasing their captives. Luna used the little magic she had to keep Celestia's body from hitting the ground too hard. Kaorn became suspicious, where was his arch enemy. A lone figure walked into the room. Fury flight stood across the room from Kaorn, but Kaorn had already prepared his magic and fired a spell to his enemy. Fury flight used all the guardian magic he had inside of his soul, and fired the ripping spell at it's target. The spells collided in the center of the room, and a sphere of magic began to grow in the center. Neither one let off of their magic, and Fury was digging deep into his soul to find more magic. His magic began to fade. "No, no, not now", Fury flight said as the last of his magic faded away. Kaorn's spell easily broke through the other spell with no power feeding it and now was spiraling towards it's target. Fury shielded himself with the only thing he could, his wings. The spell hit Fury's wing, burning through the delicate feathers on his right wing, and then hitting him full in the chest, sending him flying towards the wall. He hit the wall with a thud, and then hit the floor. Twilight looked at Fury, and then to Kaorn. The voice of Kronos came to her. "My dear, you can use the spell, my sacrifice will not be in vain. You can use it and it will work, do it for Equestria", Kronos' spirit said though the wind. Twilight prepared her mind for the spell she was about to cast. Her magic seemed ready, so she cast the spell that would rip out the heart of Kaorn. Her horn lit up, and the spell left her horn, speeding towards the pony across the room. Kaorn sent another spell from his horn, and they again collided in midair. She couldn't believe that she was holding her own against one of the most powerful alicorns in the universe. The voice of Kronos returned to Twilight. "That's it Twilight, push the spell towards him. You need to focus more magic though, you need the magic of the guardian. Unlike your magic, guardian magic gains strength from memories, so use your best memories to fuel it, and you will push his spell back", Kronos' voice whispered in her ear. Twilight thought of the best memories, and one topped them all. The memory of when she first realized she had friends against Nightmare Moon. Her magic increased ten fold, and she couldn't believe the magic coursing through her. The spells held the middle ground for a moment, then Twilights spell charged across the room straight to Kaorn. The spell hit the tip of Kaorn's horn, and exploded on impact. The spell then sprang to life, forming a hoof in the air, and plunging into Kaorn's chest. Kaorn screamed in agony as the hoof rooted around inside of him, and Twilight closed her eyes to avoid the sight. The hoof then stopped and came out of his body with his still beating heart. Kaorn looked at the heart as he fell to the floor. The hoof disappeared and the heart dropped to the floor, about a couple feet from it's owner. The body of Kaorn began to fade away into a black smoke as a screaming was heard of Kaorn's soul being drug down to the pits of Tartarus. Twilight turned to see her friends giving her the same look of shock that she herself had. She had just killed a god, she had killed a pony. She looked to the wall where Fury Flight laid, and he had managed to sit up. His right wing was nothing but a charred mess, and he had a black burn mark on his chest. "I... Knew that you.... could do... it... Twi.. Light", Fury said through the pain. "You truly are.... The next Guardian". "You are hurt pretty bad Fury, we need to get you somewhere you can be fixed", Rainbow said, wiping away tears from her eyes. "These wounds are not fatal my dear, though they are.... very painful. I can survive long enough to see this day through", Fury said, smiling at Rainbow dash. In the center of the room, a light began to form as a small hole seemed to form out of thin air. The hole began to grow and grow until it could fit an adult pony through. A form came through the hole, and the ponies could not believe their eyes. An alicorn with a coat that matched the stars above, and wings that looked like they were made out of space itself. His mane looked like a comet's tail. Princess Luna's eyes widened as he entered the world. "Fa.. Father", Luna made out barely. "I am Galaxo, greatest of the seven, and Master of Space", Galaxo said as he walked over to the ponies. "I have returned to this world to retrieve a pony dear to me". Galaxo walked over to where Fury was barely setting up. "It is time to leave this world my son". "You can't take him away from me again", Rainbow called out to Galaxo, as Applejack tried to hold her back, but to no avail as she drug her across the floor. "Can't I young Pegasus, I could level this whole castle with one wave of my horn, do you think it wise to challenge my authority", Galaxo said, an eyebrow raised. "Fury Flight is the only pony that has ever loved me for me, not just because I was a wonderbolt or just a cool pony", rainbow said to Galaxo. "If I were to leave him here, you would have him live a life in pain and suffering? Or would you see him happy in the next life, worry free and painless", Galaxo said, trying to look the fluttering Pegasus in the eye. "If she wants me to live here, then I shall remain here father", Fury said, shocking both of the ponies. "I would rather see her happy every day in a wore out body, than live carefree in the next life with her stuck here, we are a team". "You have stolen my heart my son, but you will not live in a wore out body. I will give you your old alicorn body back, full of magic, but you must take the place of another", Galaxo said, looking over to Celestia. She barely opened her eyes and smiled as Galaxo scooped her up in his magic. "It is time to go home my dear daughter", Galaxo softly spoke into Celestia's ear. she smiled and let her body droop as she spoke her last words. "Yes, it is time to go home", and with that, Celestia's last breath escaped her body. Luna began to weep as Galaxo walked back into the portal with Celestia over his back. The moment that he left, a light began to revolve around Fury Flight, raising him into the air. The light increased, encompassing him. The light slowly returned to the ground, and a new Alicorn Fury could be seen once again. Fury used his magic to shoot up into the Crystal castle, breaking away the old castle around them, and sending a blue light into the sky, undoing the land dying. With a breath of life back into the land, flowers began to grow in the red soil. The alicorns pillaging Equestria returned to their original Crystal pony selves. Although the deaths could not be undone, a new day looked down upon Equestria as it crawled away from near destruction, ready for the next generation of ponies to make it a place worth living in again. The empire fell down around them as they began the trip to Canterlot, and their next big adventure. THE END...
rebirthHe stood in on the grave, looking at the ponies before him. There was his love, Rainbow dash, who was closest to him. Next there was Twilight Sparkle and the rest of her friends, looking weak still from the last few days. Then last were the two royal sisters, his sisters, all of them giving him a look as though he had just broken every law known to pony kind. He had just came back from the dead granted, but it had been done before so to speak, Discord from stone, Tirek from Tartarus, and even Luna from the moon. "How are you alive dear brother", Luna broke the silence as the others started to calm the looks of absolute shock from their faces. "My dear sister, when my soul left this plane of existence, I was greeted by our family, and all of my friends past", Fury said as he looked to the sky. "They were glad to see me, don't get me wrong, but they said that I couldn't stay" "But for whatever reason would they not let you stay", Luna said, with a bit of excitement in her voice. Celestia even perked her ears up and looked at Fury directly for his answer. "They said that I could not stay, because my oath in this world was broken, and I had to come back to fix it, but as a mortal", Fury Flight as he returned a look of truth back at Celestia. She seemed to accept the answer, and looked back to her sister to reply. Before Luna could speak however, Rainbow dash had already opened her mouth to speak. "What vow are you talking about Fury, and why didn't you tell me", Rainbow said, a bit of red beginning to line her cheeks. "A long, long time ago, I took a vow to protect equestria from all threats, foreign and domestic, even if it was against myself. I took the vow of the eternal guardian from the previous guardian, my father, Galaxo The Great", Fury flight said to the group of ponies before him. "You mean that your father it the great Galaxo, the father of the universe, but I thought that the Royal family just came to be", Twilight said, with stars in her eyes. "Even though we have been here thousands of years my student, we were born to parents just like you, but in this case, our parents were creators of the world and universe", Celestia said to twilight almost embarrassingly. "Our parents were two of the seven great alicorns, Galaxo The Great and Princess Paramour. though most contribute our birth to a white alicorn with red hair", Celestia said, with a smirk at the end. "This vow was sealed by a deep magic, a magic beyond this world or the next, strong enough to bring me back from death's embrace. At least until I can train the next guardian to take my place", Fury flight said calmly. "But who will be the one to take on the life of the great eternal guardian of equestria my brother", Luna asked as she looked to the sky. "One who has already proven that she is up to the task by not only this week, but by events of the past and fate itself. Twilight Sparkle will be my successor, and the next eternal guardian of Equestria", Fury flight said, staring straight at Twilight as he said it.
The Guardian"But why me? Why did the ponies of fate choose me", Twilight said, looking perplexed about the matter at hand. "Surely there is a pony more qualified than me, most of the times you spoke of were either dumb luck and just plain stupidity", she said, facing Fury Flight with a questionable glance. "Twilight, did you know that the very meaning of courage and bravery is being scared to death, but riding into battle anyway", Fury said with a smile. "And as for why, there is no better choice, you are the element of magic, and a princess of equestria. You have shown time and time again that you are worthy of such a position". "But I understand the stress that is being brought before you, and know that you have time by your side this time Twilight". "What do you mean by that Fury Flight, and why do I have so much time", Twilight asked Fury. "You are an alicorn Twilight, and this is not the proper time or day to start your training, so feel free to find me when you are ready", Fury Flight said as he took a small device from seemingly out of nowhere. It looked like a whistle, but had an amplifier on the end of it. "This whistle can only be heard by me, and you can call me whenever you are ready", Fury said as he gave Twilight the whistle. Fury then turned to his sisters and bowed. "Fury, you are the one pony in equestria that should not bow to us, but rather we should bow to", Princess Celestia said as she and her sister bowed in return to Fury Flight. The other ponies then bowed to Fury Flight, and he politely accepted in the old royal Canterlot fashion, as his sister Luna did. He then flared his wings to take off, but was interrupted by a rumble in the ground. "What was that", Rarity said, as the ground began to rumble again. The ground began to rumble again, louder and harder. A sound of laughter could be heard coming from the ground. A single shadow began to raise from the ground around them. The shadow began to take form into that of a pony, one familiar to them all. The body of a king, his horn was red and bent like that of a rhino. King Sombra stood before them, but something was different about him, black alicorn wings now sat upon his back. "How is this possible, how could you escape", Fury Flight said, staring into the eyes of the enemy. "Sombra, but we watched you die in the crystal empire", Twilight said as she prepared her magic. "Sombra, that was a long time ago, that name. No, I think it is time that I introduce you to the real me. My name is Kaorn, the lord of chaos", Kaorn said proudly. He then flared his own wings and took off to the north. "What does he mean by that, his name and all", Twilight said, looking to Celestia. "I think that even with my knowledge, I am not the one to ask", Celestia said, looking to Fury Flight. "It has been so long, but it seems that your training will be against a true god Twilight, Kaorn is one of the seven great alicorns who created the universe. He then turned on his brethren and waged war on them and the world, killing off all of the artificial alicorns that were created. me and the first element bearers sealed him away in a parallel universe without time to keep him there for all eternity, but he escaped and took the form of King Sombra, and the rest is history", Fury said, beginning to hang his head. "It took the combined strength of six alicorns and the elements of harmony to stop him, and you defeated him when he combined his weakened form with the heart. With him now back to full strength, I fear that we are not enough to stop him". "Then you are lucky that we are the current element bearers, and have a friendship so strong with each other", Twilight said, smiling at Fury Flight, and then looking to her friends with a adventurous grin.
Kaorns returnKaorn flew north towards the Crystal Empire, his old home. He would take back his empire, and raise the army of Equestria's destruction. He would have to rid the castle of it's current residents, but that wouldn't be too hard, a single artificial alicorn and her unicorn husband. The real test would be when the elements of harmony and his arch enemy arrived, but he already had a plan for them. The elements drew their power from their friendship, and they had proven themselves fairly powerful. His magic was what brought Friendship into Equestria, and he was sure he could take back his gift. He thought it over a little, and that would take a very large sum of power, a sum that he was afraid to use as he would need every shred of power to wage the war he was going to start. He would take the soul of one of the six elements and make them useless, but which one would he choose. There was the alicorn, which was too risky, then there was the unicorn, but she was too weak minded and her soul would snap. The two earth ponies were too easy of a challenge, then there were the two pegasi. He seen the way the rainbow one stood by almost sheltered by his mortal enemy wait, that's it. He would steal her soul and use her against his enemy and the elements alike. As he neared the empire, the clouds began to darken and crackle, almost as if they welcomed back their former ruler with open hooves. A force field sprang up around the empire, but this time it did not deter the dark grey alicorn. He used his dark magic to force down the field like it never even existed. A single blue light shot up into the heavens like a beacon, warning equestria that the Crystal Empire was under attack. Kaorn sliced through the air down to the lower balcony of the Crystal castle, landing on the balcony by the railing. Princess Cadence and Shining Armor stood ready for battle against their new invader. "I will make this very easy for your pathetic little minds, surrender and you may live to be my pets", Kaorn demanded. "Get this through your thick head, Sombra or whatever you are, NO....", Cadence defied. "Sombra, my name is Kaorn, Lord and Master of Chaos", Kaorn said proudly. "no..., not here", Cadence said, taking a step back slowly. Kaorn smiled and brought forth a sword of shadow with his magic. Shining Armor drew his own sword and charged Kaorn. Kaorn easily side stepped him and plunged his sword to the hilt into the chest of Shining Armor. Shining fell with a little more than a whimper, and Kaorn dislodged the sword from his shoulders, stained by it's newest kill. He smiled and turned to Cadence, who used her magic to create a force field around her for protection. Kaorn kept up his smile and used his magic to thrust his sword through the force field, and the pony inside. Cadence's breath shallowed and quickened as she looked down to see the sword sticking out of her chest and her life blood oozing out around it. The force field fell around her as her magic failed. Kaorn removed the sword, and with a half cocked grin, swung his sword at the base of her neck. Her headless corpse fell to the ground in a pool of her own blood. Kaorn held the head of the Princess with his magic as he produced a spear and stuck the tip into the head. He heard the cry of a young foal coming from inside of the castle. Kaorn walked into the castle and saw the young white alicorn, crying at the sight of her parents death. He smiled as his horn lit up a dark red. The young foal disappeared into thin air with a pop. "Have fun in the dimension that once held me little one", Kaorn said as he walked back out to the bloody body strewn balcony. "SLAVES OF THE CRYSTAL EMPIRE, HEED MY CALL", Kaorn bellowed into the kingdom. One by one, the citizens began to come out to the castle. "YOUR PRINCESS IS DEAD", he said, holding up the spear that held Princess cadence's head. "YOU ARE NOW UNDER MY COMMAND", he bellowed out as the citizen's eyes began to turn a blood red and glow. Their bodies began to mutate into perverted black alicorns. "TAKE FLIGHT MY ARMY OF DESTRUCTION, WE WILL ATTACK EQUESTRIA HEAD ON", Kaorn said as he took to the air. The army followed and began to trek south towards Canterlot.
The Friendship cave"Celestia, move as quickly as you can back to Canterlot and ready your troops for war", Fury Flight said beginning to pace around in a circle. "What do you need of me my brother", Luna asked. Fury turned around and looked to his sister. "Luna, take you and your most trusted guards and go to the start and hide there until you here from me", Fury said looking into his sister's eyes. "But I want to fight in this war brother! I want the chance to protect my home as well as you", Luna said with great volume in her voice. Fury looked at his sister with a furious look, but then softened to one of a caring brother. "My dear sister, I don't want to see you get hurt. I guess I have no choice in the matter, take your guards and soldiers to Ponyville", Fury said reluctantly. "What about us Fury Flight", Twilight asked, looking back at her friends. "You six are coming with me, to the north", Fury said. The ponies agreed to Fury's terms and left accordingly. "Are you sure about this Fury, it sounds like we are walking into a trap", Twilight asked Fury. "It is because we are, but with a trick up my sleeve. We are going north, but first we must go west to the start", Fury said, walking to the edge of the road by the field. "What is the start", Twilight asked puzzled. "The start is the place where Equestria was founded, or as most ponies call it the Friendship Cave", Fury said looking to the west. "Why are we going there, our friendship is very strong", Twilight said very matter of factly. 'Were not going to the cave itself, but rather behind them. There is another cave behind it that we must get to. It is the cave of the eternal guardian", Fury said testing the wind with his wings. "You mean the legendary cave of the guardian, the one place unexplored because no pony has been able to find it, it must find you", Twilight said in a fan girl awe. "How can we find a cave that has eluded every great explorer in history". "You will have what no pony else did, a guide to show you the way. I will take you into the cave, where the elusive guardian ritual and vow will be presented to you and grant you the power of the guardian", Fury said softly. Fury then began to walk down the road towards the west. The rest of the group began to follow him, starting the long trip to the Cave of Friendship at the western edge of Equestria. Once in Canterlot, Celestia began rallying the troops for war, the troops fell over each other, as it was the real deal now and not a drill. The sky began to darken as the last of the troops fell into place. All at once, red alicorns fell from sky like steady rain, making craters as they landed. The alicorns then charged towards the nearest soldier, blasting them with a paralyzing spell and running them through with a sword. She watched in horror as her soldiers began to drop like flies. Celestia gave the signal to retreat, but there were hardly any soldiers left to heed the call. Celestia flew into the battle, using her magic to save as many soldiers as she could, but it was folly. The alicorns just kept coming, then she heard the laughter, she knew that laugh. Discord landed beside Celestia and used his magic to try to stop the onslaught. The waves of alicorns seemed to waiver, but then charged discord all at once. "Run Princess, I will hold them off as long as I can", Discord said as he sent an alicorn careening away. "You don't have to do this Discord, I can still save you", Celestia screamed. "I doubt that, but after a life of evil, maybe it will be good to die on the side of good", Discord said, dodging a sword thrust. A shadow drifted among the army of alicorns. Kaorn drifted closer to Discord in his shadow form, closer and closer, until he was at Discord's back. His shadow formed solid matter into his body behind Discord. Celestia tried to scream, but it was to late. A scythe appeared with Kaorn's magic, and then lodged itself into the back of Discord. The front of the blade struck out from his chest, and Discord began to choke as his blood poured from his mouth. He hit his knees as Kaorn pulled the scythe from his back, and then Kaorn swung his scythe, beheading the draconiquis. Celestia's eyes were so blurry from the tears that she didn't see the club hit her, knocking her out. The same happened in Ponyville as it did anywhere he and his army struck. Soon most of Equestria had fallen short of a few that called themselves a resistance. It seemed that all was lost and Kaorn finally achieved his original goal of conquering the world. The seven travelers reached the cave, tired and weak from the journey. It had been three days since they had departed, and a day and a half into their journey Twilight received the news of her brother's death. The sky was a red color, and the sun nor moon had risen during the trip. Fury Flight was beginning to worry as he had not heard from his sisters. They reached the opening of the cave, and Twilight started to get a weird feeling, but she kept it to her self. As they walked into the cave, Rainbow dash noticed drawings on the wall. They looked like ponies, but had a blue smoke trail behind them. "The wendigo, they were released after the alicorn war by Kaorn, and the rest is history", Fury said walking towards the back of the cave. He turned around and looked to the six ponies. "Now before we enter, you must follow my every command, or else you will be lost in the great eternal maze forever", Fury said, and then turned around and walked straight through the wall! Twilight looked amazingly, and walked up to the wall and placed her hoof against the wall, expecting it to go through. Her hoof touched the cold wall. "You must believe that there is no wall", came a voice. "Fury, is that you", Twilight called out. "Yes, walk through the wall all of you, come on now, we must hurry", came Fury's voice. "I have been waiting a long time for you twilight sparkle", came a voice that sounded from everywhere as Twilight walked through the wall. There was a single path, and smoke upon both side of the trail. Twilight looked around for the voice as she walked down the path. "Stay on the path, or be lost forever", the voice called out again. "Who are you", Twilight called out into the darkness. "My name is Kronos, Master of Time. I am one of the first seven", The voice cut through the silence. "Where are you, Kronos", Twilight said. "I am in the cave you seek, I have been guarding it for thousands of years", Kronos said. "Fury Flight said that you died a long time ago, during a great war", Twilight said following the path as it lead her to an unknown destination. "I am the Master of time itself, do you not think that I could go back and keep myself from being killed", Kronos stated bluntly. "But if you saved yourself, why didn't you save the others", Twilight asked. "It is not that simple Ms. Sparkle, I broke one of my own laws doing what I did, but I did it for a good reason", Kronos said. "What purpose Kronos", Twilight said, unaware that Fury Flight was now eavesdropping on her conversation. "Who are you talking to Twilight, or are you just asking yourself questions", Fury Flight asked, stopping to talk to twilight. "You can't hear the voice, you can't hear Kronos", Twilight said perplexed. "He cannot hear me, because these words are for you alone Twilight. You are traveling to the cave to receive the power of the guardian, but he come here for another purpose. There is a spell locked away in this cave so terrible that no pony, even us creators, dared to cast it. The Constellation spell", Kronos' voice resounded in the air. "Fury Flight, what is the Constellation spell, and why do you want it", Twilight asked enraged. "So he is really alive then", Fury said softly. "The constellation spell was created by the first six, to seal away Kaorn, but the spell had a counter, so to ensure that it would work, they made the spell so that when cast, both the caster and casted would be sent to their own constellation in the sky. They became afraid of it's power, and thus entrusted to me. I locked it away in this cave long ago, to ensure that no pony would stumble upon it", Fury said after a moment of silence. "ah, there is the cave", he said, pointing to a light. "Why do you want that spell for if it is so dangerous", came the voice of Rainbow Dash, surprising the two ponies. "It is the only way to bring peace and balance to this world", Fury said walking to the light. They entered the cave and were immediately taken aback, there were torches alight all around, and a great eye adorned the back wall. A blue light began to congregate in the center of the cave, until it took the form of a tall alicorn. He was a blue alicorn with a flowing white mane, and his cutie mark was a clock with hands that were moving. Upon his head was a crown with a hourglass. "Kronos, the Master of Time", Fury said, bowing to the god like pony. "I am Kronos, but please hold the bowing, for we haven't much time. Already Kaorn has defeated all of Equestria's armies and it's princesses, save for one", Kronos said looking at Twilight. "We must begin the vow right away". First Fury Flight walked up to the eye. The eye began to glow a soft white. Then he raised his hoof and spoke. "I , Fury Flight, hereby do relinquish my duties as Guardian of The Elements of Harmony and of Equestria". "Twilight, walk up and stand beside him", Kronos said as Twilight did as she was told. "Now repeat after me, I Twilight Sparkle, Vow to protect all of Equestria and the Elements of Harmony from all danger, both foreign and domestic". "I Twilight Sparkle, Vow to protect all of Equestria and the Elements of Harmony from all Danger, both foreign and domestic", Twilight repeated. The eye then glowed a bright white as energy transferred from the eye to Twilight. Twilight feinted after the eye went dark. She awoke to see Kronos staring down at her. "Ah, you are awake", He said with great amusement. "How long was I out", Twilight asked shakily as she stood up. "About ten minutes", Fury answered her. "Now about the spell Kronos". "Before you take the spell and use it against him, maybe you should take this into account, After you cast this, your soul will never be able to leave this world, bound eternally to the stars in the sky. Kaorn was able to escape every universe and dimension we put him in, how long will the stars really hold him. There is another spell locked in the vault that you might want to know about", Kronos said to Fury Flight, who got a very confused look on his face. "What do you mean another spell", Fury answered. "It is a spell that is more deadly that even the constellation spell, the god ripping spell. It is a spell that me and your father made to deal with Kaorn after we locked away the constellation spell. It is a spell that rips the heart out of a great alicorn, but it takes a lot of power to pull off, we had figured six full grown alicorns could cast it", Kronos said. "There may only be three alicorns left in this world", Fury said. "Right, but I have been adjusting the spell slightly, and have come up with a solution. It will work when a great alicorn sacrifices their soul as tribute, and a guardian preforms the spell, current or former", Kronos said slowly. "But that would mean that you...", Twilight said. "Yes my dear, but I have live a long life and quite frankly, I believe it is time to leave this world to the next generation and join my brethren in the beyond", Kronos finished. "Now then, off we go to the Crystal Empire", Kronos said. "How are we going to get there in time", Twilight said. "I'll show Ms. Sparkle, everypony take each other's hooves, and hold on tight", Kronos said as his horn light up a white, and with a popping noise, the eight ponies disappeared from the cave and reappeared at the entrance of the Crystal Empire.
The Final BattleThe Crystal Empire was not even a shadow of it's former glory. Every thing was gone, in piles of red ash. The land was dying, turning everything on it to ash, and it was spreading beyond the empire. The travelers stared at the only thing still standing, the Crystal castle. It was not anything like the original, perverted into a black castle of death. As the ponies reached the castle, Twilight and her friends had to avert their eyes from the lower balcony, where a spear was stuck there, holding the head of her sister in law. Inside the castle, in the throne room, sat Kaorn. His throne was black and had many sharp points on it. Above him to either side was a cage, holding one of the royal sisters. Luna began to hit the bars of her prison, and began shouting at her captor. "You coward, how dare you keep us in cages and purge Equestria of all it's life. Why don't you free us to see who would truly win without your mighty army behind you", Luna screamed. "Why would I release you when I have already won the war, my army is now marching on your little resistance. You are now nothing more than a pest to me", Kaorn said as he used his magic. Lightning shot out and met the bars of the cage. Luna screamed out in pain as the energy past through the bars and into her body. She began to convulse with the electricity running through her. Celestia shouted down to Kaorn from her own cage. "STOP IT! Why don't you just kill me, I am the ruler of equestria. Leave my sister out of this, she has endured enough", Celestia screamed out hoping to draw Kaorn's attention. Her ploy worked as he turned his attention away from Luna, and then fixed his magic to Celestia. Her body began to convulse and twitch as the energy coursed through her. She began to feel weak and lightheaded. "Take care of Equestria dear sister, and never give up hope for the future", Celestia softly spoke to Luna. "No, don't you dare leave me here alone sister", Luna said watching as her sister faded away. Celestia closed her eyes and her body dropped to the bottom of the cage, twitching from the electricity that was still in her body. Kaorn laughed as he then turned his attention back to Luna, but was interrupted as the door to the room exploded. The elements came in ready for action, But Kaorn was ready for their attack. They activated the elements, and Kaorn prepared his magic, but watched dumbfounded as they attacked the princesses. The cages easily ripped open, releasing their captives. Luna used the little magic she had to keep Celestia's body from hitting the ground too hard. Kaorn became suspicious, where was his arch enemy. A lone figure walked into the room. Fury flight stood across the room from Kaorn, but Kaorn had already prepared his magic and fired a spell to his enemy. Fury flight used all the guardian magic he had inside of his soul, and fired the ripping spell at it's target. The spells collided in the center of the room, and a sphere of magic began to grow in the center. Neither one let off of their magic, and Fury was digging deep into his soul to find more magic. His magic began to fade. "No, no, not now", Fury flight said as the last of his magic faded away. Kaorn's spell easily broke through the other spell with no power feeding it and now was spiraling towards it's target. Fury shielded himself with the only thing he could, his wings. The spell hit Fury's wing, burning through the delicate feathers on his right wing, and then hitting him full in the chest, sending him flying towards the wall. He hit the wall with a thud, and then hit the floor. Twilight looked at Fury, and then to Kaorn. The voice of Kronos came to her. "My dear, you can use the spell, my sacrifice will not be in vain. You can use it and it will work, do it for Equestria", Kronos' spirit said though the wind. Twilight prepared her mind for the spell she was about to cast. Her magic seemed ready, so she cast the spell that would rip out the heart of Kaorn. Her horn lit up, and the spell left her horn, speeding towards the pony across the room. Kaorn sent another spell from his horn, and they again collided in midair. She couldn't believe that she was holding her own against one of the most powerful alicorns in the universe. The voice of Kronos returned to Twilight. "That's it Twilight, push the spell towards him. You need to focus more magic though, you need the magic of the guardian. Unlike your magic, guardian magic gains strength from memories, so use your best memories to fuel it, and you will push his spell back", Kronos' voice whispered in her ear. Twilight thought of the best memories, and one topped them all. The memory of when she first realized she had friends against Nightmare Moon. Her magic increased ten fold, and she couldn't believe the magic coursing through her. The spells held the middle ground for a moment, then Twilights spell charged across the room straight to Kaorn. The spell hit the tip of Kaorn's horn, and exploded on impact. The spell then sprang to life, forming a hoof in the air, and plunging into Kaorn's chest. Kaorn screamed in agony as the hoof rooted around inside of him, and Twilight closed her eyes to avoid the sight. The hoof then stopped and came out of his body with his still beating heart. Kaorn looked at the heart as he fell to the floor. The hoof disappeared and the heart dropped to the floor, about a couple feet from it's owner. The body of Kaorn began to fade away into a black smoke as a screaming was heard of Kaorn's soul being drug down to the pits of Tartarus. Twilight turned to see her friends giving her the same look of shock that she herself had. She had just killed a god, she had killed a pony. She looked to the wall where Fury Flight laid, and he had managed to sit up. His right wing was nothing but a charred mess, and he had a black burn mark on his chest. "I... Knew that you.... could do... it... Twi.. Light", Fury said through the pain. "You truly are.... The next Guardian". "You are hurt pretty bad Fury, we need to get you somewhere you can be fixed", Rainbow said, wiping away tears from her eyes. "These wounds are not fatal my dear, though they are.... very painful. I can survive long enough to see this day through", Fury said, smiling at Rainbow dash. In the center of the room, a light began to form as a small hole seemed to form out of thin air. The hole began to grow and grow until it could fit an adult pony through. A form came through the hole, and the ponies could not believe their eyes. An alicorn with a coat that matched the stars above, and wings that looked like they were made out of space itself. His mane looked like a comet's tail. Princess Luna's eyes widened as he entered the world. "Fa.. Father", Luna made out barely. "I am Galaxo, greatest of the seven, and Master of Space", Galaxo said as he walked over to the ponies. "I have returned to this world to retrieve a pony dear to me". Galaxo walked over to where Fury was barely setting up. "It is time to leave this world my son". "You can't take him away from me again", Rainbow called out to Galaxo, as Applejack tried to hold her back, but to no avail as she drug her across the floor. "Can't I young Pegasus, I could level this whole castle with one wave of my horn, do you think it wise to challenge my authority", Galaxo said, an eyebrow raised. "Fury Flight is the only pony that has ever loved me for me, not just because I was a wonderbolt or just a cool pony", rainbow said to Galaxo. "If I were to leave him here, you would have him live a life in pain and suffering? Or would you see him happy in the next life, worry free and painless", Galaxo said, trying to look the fluttering Pegasus in the eye. "If she wants me to live here, then I shall remain here father", Fury said, shocking both of the ponies. "I would rather see her happy every day in a wore out body, than live carefree in the next life with her stuck here, we are a team". "You have stolen my heart my son, but you will not live in a wore out body. I will give you your old alicorn body back, full of magic, but you must take the place of another", Galaxo said, looking over to Celestia. She barely opened her eyes and smiled as Galaxo scooped her up in his magic. "It is time to go home my dear daughter", Galaxo softly spoke into Celestia's ear. she smiled and let her body droop as she spoke her last words. "Yes, it is time to go home", and with that, Celestia's last breath escaped her body. Luna began to weep as Galaxo walked back into the portal with Celestia over his back. The moment that he left, a light began to revolve around Fury Flight, raising him into the air. The light increased, encompassing him. The light slowly returned to the ground, and a new Alicorn Fury could be seen once again. Fury used his magic to shoot up into the Crystal castle, breaking away the old castle around them, and sending a blue light into the sky, undoing the land dying. With a breath of life back into the land, flowers began to grow in the red soil. The alicorns pillaging Equestria returned to their original Crystal pony selves. Although the deaths could not be undone, a new day looked down upon Equestria as it crawled away from near destruction, ready for the next generation of ponies to make it a place worth living in again. The empire fell down around them as they began the trip to Canterlot, and their next big adventure. THE END...
