Both of these stallions are looking for a house for rent but don't have any luck. "That house looks good but it's been taken." Lightning says.
"Good looking house but it's already taken." Caring says. "There's a empty house." Caring runs to it as fast as he can. "Whew. This house is mine."
Later..........
Caring owns the house now by paying the rent for it. "Home sweet home." Caring is putting his things where he wants it to be when there was a knock on his door. Caring heads to the door and opens it to see Lightning. "Oh. Hello there."
"Hi. Do you have a roommate yet?"
"No."
"May I uh.....move in?"
"Sure. I was hoping I would get a roommate. Come on in."
"Thank you." Lightning walks in.
"What's your name?"
"Lightning Strike."
"Wait. I saw you at the train station earlier today."
"You do look familiar."
"My name is Caring Slash." They shake hooves.
"Nice to meet you Caring." Lightning and Caring shake hooves.

Chapter 1: A New Life Begins
Two stallions arrive at the Ponyville train station: Caring and Lightning. Both of them are renting a house and are expecting a roommate as well and don't know who their roommate will be. "Okay It's time to go to find me a house." Lightning leaves the train station and head's to his new home.
"Alright, hello Ponyville, time to find my new home." Caring leaves the train station as well.
"I wonder if I'll have a roommate?" Lightning thinks to himself.
"I'm curious if I'll get a roommate? It would be pretty cool." Caring questions. But these two stallions will be surprised to see who there roommate will be.

Lightning wakes up and goes downstairs to see Caring making breakfast. "Good morning Caring *yawns*."
"Good morning Lightning."
"What's for breakfast?"
"BaconPancakes. I mashed them together. It's good."
"Awesome. I can't wait to try it out."
"Oh and Lightning. Can you go get the mail for me please?"
"Sure." Lightning gets the mail and brings it into the kitchen.
"What do we got?"
"Welcome to Ponyville letter, invitation to a party from Pinkie Pie, and a letter from my sister. Wait a minute." Lightning stops and realizes what was sent to him.
"A letter from you sister."
"Yes. She's a part of the Lunar Guard." Lightning opens the letter.
"That's cool. What does it say?"
"It says....."
Dear Lightning,
I am writing this letter to you in hopes that this new life your starting in Ponyville goes great for you. At the moment I am not sure if Luna will give me that day off so I can spend time with you my brother and as of right now I'm gonna try my best to make it to your house warming but like I said I'm not sure if Luna will let me take off.

"What does it say?" Lightning puts the letter down.
"First off, is it okay if we have a house warming party?"
"Yeah sure. What's wrong?"
"My sister was suppose to come to the house warming party but she might not make it."
"Oh."
"I hope Luna will let her have the day off." Lightning says with hope in his voice. "Wait! There's another letter."
"Whose's it from?" Caring asks.

We've done some research on your history and we found out you have a lost brother by the name of Caring Slash.
"I have a lost brother.....and...it's you."
"Me! Oh my Celestia!" Caring tackles Lightning into a hug.
