The Fall Of The Princesses

Another sleepless night for Riley. Riley stares into the fire he had just constructed. Thinking of why this happened. What he is supposed to do next. Thinking that he should just end his suffering. A loud grumble came from Riley's stomach. As Riley looks out into the distance, he can see the first rays of dawn greet him. Another day of survival, more or less. A few minutes pass, the light of day stronger than it was before. Riley gets up from his place and stretches.

"Time to make my way to Ponyville." Riley states.

Riley pulls out his map of Equestria and studies it for the best route to his home land.

"Hmm, If I go back north, I can follow the train track into the Canterlot Caves, and south to Ponyville."

Riley uses his magic, and puts the map away. He starts to walk against the cold rock beneath his feet. Soon enough, Riley is met with a train track. He looks down one end, then to the other. Down the south side of the Railroad, Riley spots something getting closer to him, not fast, but not slow either.

Soon enough the small. self pulling train cart comes with distance of Riley. A small screech coming from each pump to make the train cart move.

"Excuse me sir." Riley says.

"What" the mysterious man returns

"Where are you heading?" Riley asks

"Ponyville, why do you ask?" the man barks.

"Do you mind if I tag along?"

The man just stops, seeming to be studying Riley. The man contemplates it for awhile. He looks at Riley with an unchanged expression, then back down at his cart.

"Please sir, I have bits!" Riley pleads

"Fine" The Man spits

Riley's expression does a 180 and climbs up on the cart.

"Please allow me." Riley insists

After Riley says this, a magical aura surrounds the simple pulley system, bobbing up and down faster than when the man was controlling it.

Soon the cart was going at a descent speed, heading straight for the canterlot caves.

"We should be their in an hour." Riley says as he studies his map.

About an hour passes, and the Canterlot caves comes into view. This only makes Riley more excited, the cart speeds up in return. Just as the 2 enter the dark cave, the cart comes to a complete halt.

"Well that's peculiar." Huffed the man

"Is that so" a new voice croaked.

"This doesn't seem good." pondered Riley

A second after Riley says this, four other horns light u[, creating a mixture color aura around the cart. As they lifted the cart into the air Riley jumped off it as soon as he realized what they were doing. The Man wasn't so lucky, as the other pony grabbed him, and held him at gun point. The other four's horns lit up brighter, as the cart exploded into a million pieces.

"Raiders!" Riley boomed

"That's right." Hissed one of them.

Riley took off down the cave, quickly pulling out his map for directions. He realized that this was an above ground map and put it back. From behind he could hear explosion, and beams of light fly past him. Riley concentrates his energy. Shutting his eyes tight Riley tries something he has never attempted. His horn lights up, and. Riley disappears from where he was, and reappears all the way down the cave.

Riley breathing is rapid as he tries to collect himself, since he teleported, the Raiders voice seemed to disappear along with it. Riley always knew he was good at magic, but he never knew he could pull of teleportation. Riley's breathing slows as he collects himself. He gets up and slowly walks along the train tracks. His ears picked up a faint explosion sound far beyond in the cave. He decided not to worry about it, and still trudge on.
