Equestrian Origins - How to Train Your Dragon (Edit)
This is Berk. Its twelve days north of Hopeless and a few degrees south of Freezing to Death. It's located solidly on the Meridian of Misery. My village. In a word? Sturdy. It's been here for seven generations, but every single building is new. We have fishing, hunting, and a charming view of the sunsets. The only problems are the pests. You see, most places have mice or mosquitoes... We have... "DRAGONS!" A thundering nightmarish figure snarled at me, someone jumped in front of me before it could attack. "Get INSIDE NOW"
My name's Hiccup. Great name, I know. But, it's not the worst. Parents believe a hideous name will frighten off gnomes and trolls. Like our charming Viking demeanour wouldn't do that.
All of a sudden a piercing scream could be heard from above, a black dot started falling towards me.
CRACK
I felt a sudden crack, as if I had lost a limb. I was fading
*vroop*
Everything was black, I could see nothing, the last thing I remember was a strange creature with pink hair and a lovely voice nurturing me. I was scared.
It took some days for my vision to recover. I had lost my eyesight completely. Every time I tried to move a nice shy smitten voice would hush me down. I could only see shapes for the first few weeks, but I could tell she wasn’t human. Every morning she would feed me a sweet nectar that would step down my throat. What was even weirder is that I would every now and then hear a familiar growl, like one I had heard too many times before, it was almost, dragon. This was a confusing place. My foot hurt like it was dying, but at the same time it felt like there was nothing there at all. I would spend my afternoons just alone to my blindness on a strangely comfortable bed. Fast forward a few weeks later and my vision was starting to fade down to me. I could now make out colours, this place was very different to berk in terms of colour, their seemed to be pink and very light tones everywhere. Fast forward one month and I woke up one morning and, I could see. I was in a strange kitchen like area on a bed. I drew attention to how everything seemed a bit too small for a human to have, a soft growl dragged my attention towards a black pile in the room. My foot seemed to be cured. I dared to take a look. Upon flicking over my blanket I noticed something different, my body had transformed from my clumsy human figure to a weird horse like figure. I shrieked in revelation to my body. But more so to my foot, (or should I say hoof?) Which was not even there at all, but replaced with a metal structure. I heard another low growl from the corner of the room. As I stared at the lump of scales it began move. The scales chittered together as they rubbed against one another. I saw a pair of light green eyes star at me from under a tail like stick. It wagged its tail as if saying thank you and then covered its eyes again. I stepped out of the bed and tumbled over. These new feet will take some time to get used to. Everything seemed so, happy here. Like there were no problems at all; except for the shriek of the being outside. I closely examined my body. I had light grey skin, the colour of the clouds at Berk. I also had a luscious mane reaching from my fore head back to my back. And a tail of the same colour. I drew attention to the dragon shape on my flank. It seemed to describe me as well as something else in this room. I noticed my tunic and other items of apparel on the couch. I put them on. It was as if I had been castaway towards a new dimension. It filled my heart with curiosity as I grabbed my satchel and my note book. As I slung my satchel around my head my hooves came into contact with a horn of sorts. Weird I thought to myself as I opened the door. Another soft growl came from the corner of the room. The creature wanted to come with me outside. I moaned in approval, as the scales shifted again it revealed a wing, two wings. A tail. It was a dragon, my heart pounded as it loomed closer to me on its hind legs. I fumbled for my knife but couldn’t grasp it with my hooves. The dragon smiled revealing its bare gums. “Toothless” I said to myself. Outside was amazing, the slow hills as they panned and weaved all the way around my peripheral vision, the wavy trees, flailing in the wind, and even the other ponies playing with objects. I decided to approach the one fiddling with a mail box.
“Uh hello?” I greeted
“Ditzy Doo. Former time traveller now a mail mare” She winced at her sudden out break before apologizing
“Uh, Ditzy, where am I?”
“Equestria”
“Why am I a pony?”
“I don’t know, we are usually born like that”
A voice joined in
“Oh hello”
I recognised the voice, it was that of who took care of me.
“Who are you?” I asked politely
“Fluttershy, who are you?”
“Hiccup”
“Where am I?”
“You just fell from the sky with your dragonish thing here”
I stopped in my tracks. I just fell from the sky? Wow.
"So, Hiccup, where are you from?"
I started panicking and panting, I fainted and fell on the ground.
What now?
"What do you mean he just disappeared gobber?"
"Ahm tellin' ya stoic, he's gone"
"Gah hiccup, where are you?!"
Stoic the vast sighed as he rested his feet on the table.

"You Just Gestured The All of Me"
I sat there, in the corner. My tunic light up by the lights of the candles. Across of me was a strange stallion. He marbled at my story. He then stood up and walked over towards a pink mare. My only thoughts were home. How would I get back? Did I even want to? I sighed … Was this my new life. And not to mention that Night Fury that fell with me.
Fluttershy took him to someone, well, somepony called. Twilight, she said that it was not a Dragon from Equestria, that was something I already knew. What really had on the ropes though was why the hell I turned into a horse. It was a very mentally challenging predicament.
Back on Berk we always learnt that dragons always go for the kill. ALWAYS. So why didn’t he. I slammed my cup on the table and pulled out my journal. My hooves couldn’t quite grasp it.
“Guh, These hooves!”
Twilight walked over.
“Still getting used to your hooves?”
“What does it look like?!”
“I can teach you how to use that”
She gestured to me
“You just gestured the all of me”
“No, your horn”
My horn sparked. It glittered and it shot, like it wanted to be used.
“Just close your eyes, and concentrate”
I closed my eyes, mentally staring at my journal. I tried so hard. I suddenly heard a bang. I opened my eyes and saw I had merely moved it millimetres to the side.
“Concentrate”
Suddenly a green hue emanated from my horn, it made its way towards the journal. The journal started to lift, the pages unfurled as I made it shift towards me. I awed at it. Magic shouldn’t exist. But there is was, right in front of me, staring me back in my shocked face. Twilight congratulated me.
As I read my journal I pondered what Dad back home was thinking. I have been missing for almost one and a half months. Must be depressed. I sighed.
