Consequences 2:

The choice.

Prologue:

Amora and Scitials battled each other to a near stand still. Amora during the fight failed to see Scitialis’s faithful student coming up behind her. With her horn glowing red Sweet Surgot fired a energy bolt at Amora hitting her in the back causing her to fall to a kneeling position. Scitalis raised his sword and plunged the pullem of it into Amora’s head knocking her out cold with a single strike. Sweet Surgot smiled as she said to her demonic master in a wicked tone of voice.

“Well that should keep her out of our way for a while.”

Scitalis put away his sword then turned to face the vault door behind him as he laughed wickedly. Sticking out both hands with his palms facing the door he used his magic to rip the door off its hinges. Once the two of them stepped over the threshold of the vault he and his student Sweet Surgot looked around the near empty vault. Seeing to their right a mirror that fully resembled the one in Twilight's crystal castle Scitalis thought to himself as he looked at the mirror.

“So this is where they placed it eh, Well I will make full use of it once I have what I came for.”

Scitalis smiled as he looked down at his student who was standing next to him also looking at the mirror. As he said to his student who looked at him with confusion showing on her face.

“Do you know what that mirror is my faithful student?”

Sweet Surgot looked from him then to the mirror and back again as she replied to him.

“No master, I do not know what that mirror is.”

“It is a mirror that will lead to another world, the very world that I must go to in order to have my revenge against Twilight. It was placed here many, many eons ago by the demons to keep creatures like myself from going to another world.”

Scitalis looked around then saw on a pedestal the book that he had been searching for. Walking over to it he picked it up. Showing it to his student he said to her as she looked from the book then to him with even more confusion showing on her face.

“Ah here it is. This is what we came here for my faithful student.”

“I don’t understand master we came in her after you defeated Amora for a….book?” Sweet Surgot replied with a confused look on her face.

“Hold it right there Scitalis you're not going anywhere!” A voice called out to the two of them from behind them both.

Both Scitalis and Sweet Surgot turned around and saw Twilight, Rainbow Dash and the demonic form of Applejack standing behind them. Scitalis grinned as he held in his hands the book that he had been searching for with his student by his side using her magic to cast a shield spell he said to them as the spell sparked to life.

“Better luck next time Twilight, Oh you might want to help your little demon queen friend before she succumbs to her wounds.”

With Amora lying on the ground behind him and Twilight and Applejack ready to attack him. Rainbow charged the entrance of the vault only to be knocked back by Sweet Surgots magic. Taking a full hit right to her chest Rainbow fell to the ground and groaned out in pain as Twilight looked on in stunned silence. Applejack screeched loudly and lunged forward only to fall as well when Sweet surgot fired an energy bolt at her hitting her in her left leg.

Scitalis laughed as he turned to face the mirror while laughing Scitalis pointed his right palm towards the mirror that was in the vault with him. Grinning he fired a red energy bolt at the mirror bringing it to life. The mirror world could clearly be seen through the glass of the mirror it self and Twilight realized what Scitalis was about to do. As Twilight looked on in horror Scitalis jumped through the portal disappearing from sight. Twilight leapt at the entrance to the vault only to be knocked back by Sweet Surgot’s shield spell. Hitting the ground hard she slowly climbed back her feet as Sweet Surgot said to her.

“Sorry but, I can let you interfere with my master's plans Twilight.”

Twilight growing angry at being stopped by Sweetie Belle used her own magic and hit her shield spell full force breaking the spell. Seeing that the spell was broken Sweet Surgot turned and used her energy on the mirror it self. Just as Twilight was about to leap through the mirror. As her energy hit the glass of the mirror it fully shattered in front of Twilight. Turning to face Sweetie Belle, Twilight said to her as she used her own magic on her to float her off the ground.

“Why Sweetie Belle? Why are you doing this? Can’t you see we are your friends?”

Sweetie Belle while covered in Twilight's magic and floating off the ground looked at her then down at the ground as her eyes flashed from red to teal green. Twilight seeing that Sweetie Belle was not entirely corrupted by Scitialis’s magic set her down carefully then right hoofed her in the head knocking her out cold. As Sweetie Belle fell into her awaiting hooves Twilight said to Applejack who snarled at her while looking at the broken mirror in front of her.

“Applejack I know you want to go after him for what he did to you but, I can’t carry both her and Amora by myself I need your help.”

Applejack growled back at Twilight causing her to back away from her while still holding Sweetie Belle in her hooves. Breathing heavily Applejack reached out and grabbed Amora by her belt hoisting her up onto her shoulders. Applejack looked to Twilight as she said to her in a sick demonic voice while she started to leave the vault with Amora draped over her shoulders.

“This way.”

The mirror portal leading from Tartarus to the mirror world had worked perfectly Scitalis smiled as he saw that no one had seen the portal opening up next to the schools statue. Scitalis stepping through the portal leaving Tartarus looked to his right. Seeing Sunset, walking down the sidewalk towards CHS with Pinkie holding her hand his smile turned into an evil grin. As he watched for a few minutes more he saw that Rarity, Rainbow and Fluttershy where only a few feet from them. With Rose Cherry bringing up the rear as the group walked past the portal leading to Equestria not noticing Scitalis he called out to Sunset stopping her and Pinkie in their tracks.

“Sunset Shimmer?”

Sunset looked at Scitalis not sure what to make of him. Standing before her was man dressed in a dark blue three piece suit. The suit itself looked to be more made up of scales rather than actual cloth. His hair was thick and pointed almost as if it was not hair at all but, rather fins Sunset could see gills on either the left or right side of his neck. His eyes were blazing red and his flesh was a deep velvet hue that seemed to shine as if many gems had been attached to his flesh.

“Yes I am Sunset Shimmer, how may I help you?” Sunset said as she noticed the portal behind Scitalis. “Are you from Equestria?”

Scitalis smiled as he raised his right hand snapping his fingers causing the portal behind him to explode when it came in contact with the Equestrian portal. The shock wave knocked Sunset, Pinkie and the rest of their friends backwards several feet landing on the ground and being knocked out temporarily from the impact. Sunset lay on the ground ten feet from Pinkie and her friends. Her mother lay six feet from Rarity who laid next to Pinkie and Rainbow Dash. Fluttershy, was lying almost on top of Rose Cherry as Sunset slowly came too from being knocked out. She lifted herself up so she was on her hands and knees. Scitalis watched her carefully as he sneered to her wickedly. Walking a few feet in front of her he looked down to her as she looked up at him with fear showing clearly in her eyes.

“You have a choice Sunset Shimmer you can either read from this book.” Scitalis said as he snapped his fingers again. “Or you can watch as your friends burn.”

Sunset while watching in horror saw circles of fire surround her girlfriend and the rest of her friends. Sunset held out her right hand while remaining on her left hand and knees as she screamed out to her girlfriend.

“Pinkie!”

Scitalis laughed coldly as he threw to Sunset the book that he had brought with him from Tartarus. The book landed a few inches in front of her. Sunset looked down at it. Her fear growing ever more on her face as she recognized the book in front of her. Looking from the book then to Scitalis Sunset sat with her legs underneath her as she began to cry. The book in front of her glowed with an ominous evil demonic energy. Scitalis cocked his head to the right and cooed evilly while taking in the fear and anger that Sunset was clearly showing to him. Pinkie and the others could only watch in horror as Sunset cried. The flames that surrounded them grew higher and Pinkie cried out to Sunset.

“Sunset, help us please.”

Scitalis growing impatient with Sunset snapped his fingers again causing the flames to tighten around his victims. Sunset hearing her friends screaming for help slowly stood up picking up the book in her hands. As she looked at Pinkie then cried out to Scitalis as she held the book in her hands.

“Alright you monster you win, just don’t hurt her please. I will do as you have asked.”

Rarity realizing what Sunset was about to do she grabbed Pinkie and covered her eyes saying to her as she turned her away from Sunset and held the struggling girl tightly in her arms.

“Darling don’t watch.”

Looking at Pinkie Sunset closed her eyes as she said to her girlfriend.

“Forgive me, I love you Pinkie.”

The sky above turned black and flashed as red lightning began to strike the ground around Sunset and her friends. Sunset opened the book and began to read aloud with Scitalis laughing coldly.

“I who am demon born and have walked in both worlds do so command thee to merge as one. Equestria, the mirror world and Tartarus shall be merged as one world. NOW AND FOREVER!

As Sunset finished the last of her words a lightning bolt struck her causing her to scream out as her body burst into flames. Falling to the ground and dropping the book in front of her Scitalis laughed as he watched her breath in heavily. As Sunset started to slowly rise back up no longer as her former self but, something truly born from the pits of Tartarus. Pinkie pulled Rarity's hand away from her eyes and forced her to let go of her. When she was able to fully turn around again she and saw what Sunset had become she screamed out in fear of losing the one she loved most of all.

“SUNSET!”

Tirek smiled at Amora as he charged her with his sword coming down in an overhead attack against her. Amora raised her sword in an overhead block just in time as she slid to the floor to a kneeling position. Amora pushed up hard against his sword with her own sword knocking Tirek backwards several feet. Then countered with a lunging spin attack which Tirek was easily able to avoid all together as he rolled out of the way of her in coming attack.The sound of metal hitting metal could be heard for hours on end as the two battled each other. The guards outside of the throne room remained where they were as they could still hear the fight raging on inside the throne room. Tirek tried to sidestep Amora at the same time he brought his sword in for a side attack against her. Amora countered by leaping over his sword and whipping her sword in a half circular motion into his sword. While slamming her own sword down onto his sword she said to Tirek as she pushed his sword into the floor of the throne room.

“Give this madness up Tirek you can’t beat me in a sword fight.”

Tirek smiled as he looked into face of his enemy. Spitting at her he caused her to stumble backwards a few feet as the spit ran into her eyes Amora screamed in rage at the disgusting notion of being spat at. Tirek laughed as he lunged in towards Amora who was distracted from his oncoming attack as she wiped the spit from her eyes. Tirek reached out and grabbed onto Amora by her shoulders pulling her into him as he kicked her in the stomach sending her backwards several feet. Leaping into the air Amora opened her eyes just in time as Tirek brought his sword downwards towards her right shoulder. Rolling out of the way in the nick of time Amora laughed as she spun on her feet while in a kneeling position countering his attack. Saying to Tirek who laughed in reply.

“Why did you take my throne Tirek? I posed no threat to you.”

“Because I wanted power Amora why else would I take your throne from you and cast you into the gatherer pits.” Tirek sneered in reply to Amora.

Tirek tried to get out of the way of the incoming blade but was too slow as the blade his his legs sending him to the floor he backflipped and landed a few feet from where Amora knelt. Amora seeing this smirked as she also backflipped into a righted position then lunged at him again bringing her sword up and down again in overhead attack. Tirek waited for the last possible second as he blocked her incoming attack. Then took out a hidden dagger from under his breast plate and threw it at her. Hitting Amora in the upper thigh of her left leg. Tirek laughed coldly as he said to her watching her fall to the ground holding her leg and screaming out in pain.

“Once I kill you I will turn my attention to those useless guards outside of the throne room. Then I will invade ALL of Equestria and conquer everything within my sight.”

Amora lay on her back with the dagger fully embedded into her left leg. Taking a hold of it by the handle she began to slowly withdraw it from her leg screaming out in pain as the metal cut deeply into the muscle of her leg. Amora’s eyes began to glow brightly as Tirek stood there watching her as Amora slowly pulled on the dagger her body began to glow brightly. Yanking the dagger out fully and throwing it back at him Amora put her hands behind her head and leapt back to her feet pushing off the ground and throwing her feet up into the air. Tirek caught the dagger with his right hand then looked at it as his eyes grew wide with fear when he saw black ooze dripping from the tip of the dagger. Saying to himself as he heard Amora scream out in pain when she landed on her feet.

“No this dagger can’t be poisoned with tr^nimhe the plant of death! That stuff drives vampires insane.”

Looking back at Amora who was beginning to show signs of a berserker rage taking a hold of her. Tirek put away the dagger as Amora fell back to the ground and screamed out in rage and pain. Her veins in her body began to porturd all over her body as her skin slowly flashed from blood red to obsidian black. Her eyes glowed brightly with a sickening yellow tint to them. Tireks words echoed loudly in her hears and only served to fuel her rage. Slowly climbing back to her feet the pain in her leg caused from Tireks dagger was nothing compared to her rage fueled anger towards Tirek. Tirek lunged at Amora with his sword drawn to the right of his body and the blade fully pointed at her he yelled out to her as he tried to impale her on his sword.

“No! I will not let you enter your rage of Fuil fearg, Amora you shall die before you have the….” Amora cut Tirek off as she dropped her sword catching his sword with both hands clapping them tightly over the metal of his blade.

Tirek pulled on the handle of his sword trying to get Amora to let go of his blade, the pain caused by this action only served to further enrage the demon vampire queen. Cocking her head to the right Amora kicked Tirek in the stomach launching him backwards while still holding tightly onto his sword in her bare hands. Raising the sword over her head she snapped the blade in two then dropped both pieces to the left and right of her as she lunged inwards hit Tirek in the jaw with her right hand. Blood splattered across her face from Tireks jaw breaking from the empack of her fist slamming into his jaw. Tirek again flew backwards hitting a suit of armor knocking it over. Climbing back to his feet he spat blood onto the floor of the throne room as Amora again lunged at him. Tirek tried to jump towards Amora only to be back slapped knocking him into the floor and towards the throne. Looking up at Amora Tirek said to her as she was about to plant her foot into his chest.

“Amora stop we can share the throne I will offer you power of the likes you have never seen before.”

Tireks words fell on deaf ears as Amora kicked him in the chest launching him up into the air causing him to come crashing back down when he hit the throne. Hitting the throne hard with his back Tirek screamed in pain as he felt several of his ribs break from packing with the throne. Amora leapt at him landing on him in a kneeling position driving her right knee deeply into his chest and knocking the back of Tirek's head into the throne. As Amora had Tirek under her body she straddled him as if she was about to ride him during sex. Amora began to punch Tirek in the face with both hands each blow caused both blood and teeth to fall from Tireks face. Flipping up into the air and backwards Amora landed on her feet then bent down grabbing Tirek by his feet. Turning in a half circle she threw him across the throne room causing him to slam into the throne room doors. As Amora crouched down and unfurled her wings Tirek climbed back to his feet saying to her as she leapt into the air flying right towards him.

“Alright if you want to play rough harpy slut I can do that.”

As Amora flew up to him Tirek back handed her in the face knocking her back to the ground and sliding up to a suit of armor to the right of her and him. Getting back up Amora screamed out in rage and again flew at Tirek who again hit her causing her to fly into another suit of armor breaking it when her body impacted with the armor. Shaking off the pain and grabbing a spear that had fallen to the ground that the suit of armor had been holding up Amora flew at him again. Tirek trying to get out of the way of the incoming attack tripped over his own feet. Amora seeing her enemy was temporarily preoccupied used the opportunity to impale Tirek through the stomach into the door of the throne room. The spear found its mark as it’s shaft sank deeply into Tireks stomach causing him to spit up blood which sprayed over Amora’s face and chest. Tirek coughed out to her a plea of mercy as she backed away from him.

“Please Amora (coughing) don’t kill me (coughing) I….we can share (coughing) the power of Tartarus (coughing) together as (coughing) king and queen.”

Amora looked to her right as she spied her sword lying a few feet from her. Picking it up she turned to Tirek and screeched at him loudly while impaling his right shoulder with the sword. The sword sank deeply into Tirek’s shoulder going right his shoulder and through the throne room doors. Tirek screamed in pain as the metal of the blade did its work nicely on his shoulder leaving his shoulder a broken bloody mess of cut flesh and ligaments. Reaching up he took a hold of the sword and began to slowly pull it out of his shoulder. With Amora looking at him he sneered to her when she suddenly lunged in and kicked him in the stomach again. Amora said to Tirek as she planted her foot back to the ground.

“Goodbye Tirek.”

The blow sent Tirek through the throne room doors and into the hallway beyond. With her sword fully embedded into his shoulder Tirek tried again to take the sword out of his shoulder only to fail when Amora again kicked him. The blow sent him sliding further down the hallway and up towards the ledge of the walkway that overlooked the abyss that Amora had dropped the serevent demon female into earlier. Amora began to show signs that her berserker rage was coming to its conclusion as she started to grow tired. Seeing this Tirek stood up with his back against the cold stone of the walk way. He spat a mouthful of blood out onto the floor then looked at Amora saying to her as she lunged in taking a hold her sword by the handle and lifting him off the ground over the edge of the walkway.

“I’ll see you again my dear. Next time I won’t go so easy on you.”

Amora slammed Tirek into a nearby window causing the glass of the window to shatter around him cutting Tirek’s body up as the glass fell onto him. Amora with the very last of her strength pulled her sword out of Tirek's shoulder causing him to fall into the abyss below as he fell Tirek screamed out as his body disappeared from sight.

“You haven't seen the last of me you harpy queen.”

Collapsing to the ground the guards came to her side and helped her back up then carried her to the throne room. Sitting on her throne breathing in heavily with her sword in hand Amora looked at each of the guards as they backed away from her kneeling before her. As one of the guards said while kneeling in front of her with his sword drawn out and holding it above his head in both hands with the blade pointed to the right.

“All hail the queen of Tartarus. All hail Amora, queen of all that live in the cursed land.”

Amora found renewed strength in this as she rose from the throne brought her hands up to her face in an X formation. Dropping her hands to the side she let out the most demonic scream that any of her guards had ever heard before. The scream of which could be heard for miles around and echoed loudly inside the castle walls. Twilight and Rainbow dash during this time had stepped through the portal leading from Equestria to Tartarus. As the two of them looked around Rainbow noticed her wings had formed armor around most of her body. As well as growing larger Rainbow began to prance about in front of Twilight who in turn face-hooved herself saying to Rainbow as she watched her friend make a fool of herself.

“Rainbow we don’t have time for your pony games. We too…”

Rainbow cut Twilight off as she pushed Twilight into the ground when she suddenly heard a soft but noticeable ‘twang’ sound coming from her right. Looking up from where Rainbow had pushed her Twilight saw Applejack flying in the air above them. Applejack nocked another arrow to her bow then took aim again at Twilight’s head. Twilight's ears fell back as she said watching her marefriend taking aim at her.

“Oh, horse apples.”

Chapter two.

Consequences 2: The choice.

Chapter 2.

Applejack let loose her arrow taking aim at Twilight’s head Twilight watched as everything seemed in her eyes to happen in slow motion. The arrow flew towards her head Rainbow seeing this could be heard saying to her ‘get down twilight’ as she pushed her friend again into the dirt causing Applejack to miss her target by scant inches. Applejack again nocked another arrow to her bow and again another soft noticeable ‘twang’ sound was heard. As another arrow flew towards Twilight's head Rainbow covered Twilight with her body as Twilight was too, frightened to move on her own.The arrow hit Rainbow in her lower left shoulder blade an area that was fully covered by her armor. As the arrow hit her body armor it glanced off falling to the ground just a few inches from where Twilight and Rainbow were lying on the ground. Applejack screeched out in rage as she once again fired another arrow this time taking aim at Rainbow. As the Arrow flew missing Rainbow by just a few inches Rainbow yelled out to her frightened friend as she climbed back to her feet with Applejack hovering above them both.

“Hey Twilight snap out of it!”

Twilight looked from Rainbow then to Applejack as she began to back away from both of them. Rainbow once again yelled at Twilight.

“Twilight run! I’ll hold her off.”

Rainbow looked into Twilight's eyes and saw nothing but absolute raging fear in her friend's eyes. Where Twilight's eyes would have shown confidence and a strong measure of integrity now it was fully replaced with unstoppable fear. Rainbow right hoofed Twilight in the jaw just as another ‘twang’ was heard and a another arrow flew past them hitting a rock lying a few six feet from them. Twilight seemed for the time to snap out of her trances as she yelled back to Rainbow.

“You can’t face her alone Rainbow RUN!”

As Twilight and Rainbow both started to turn to run from Applejack in the hopes of finding cover from her ensuing attack upon them. Twilight could hear Applejack’s wings flapping in the air and looked back just in time to see Applejack tuck her wings into her back falling to the ground like a rock. A loud echoing thunderous boom was heard as Applejack hit the ground hard then began to give chase. Twilight and Rainbow ran towards the north east right towards a outcrop of boulders. Looking around quickly with Applejack in close pursuit of them Twilight saw a small hole in one of the boulders. As yelled out to Rainbow who almost passed the spot that she had seen she made a beeline for the hole in the boulder.

“There, there Rainbow get into that hole we can take cover there!”

Rainbow hearing Twilight's words slid to a halt turned and without a word to Twilight ran past her jumping into the whole. Her body armor sparking as she slid down the steep embankment that lay behind the sloping boulder. Twilight turned in time to see Applejack closing the distance and quickly jumped down the hole as well. Rolling on her sides Twilight badly scraped up her wings as she slid down the boulder. She hit the ground hard thump and with a loud yelp when her hooves touched the soft earth beneath them. Applejack made it to the spot where Rainbow and Twilight had dove for cover. Trying herself to slide into the hole she was only able to fit her upper torso into the gap that separated her from her prey. Applejack's larger body and wings prevented her from getting inside the hole that Twilight and Rainbow took cover in. As Applejack could be heard clawing and scraping away at the massive boulder with her hands Twilight breathed in heavily. Gasping for breath Twilight said to Rainbow who looked at her with both fear and anger in her eyes.

“Why? W...W...Why is...she...d...doing this?”

“You pony tails know why she is doing this Twilight. She doesn’t see you as her mare-friend. Just like the queen told you before we came to this so uncool place. Now we need to find away out of here.” Rainbow replied sternly to Twilight who looked down at the ground as a single tear trickled down her right cheek.

Rainbow closed her eyes tightly then looked away from her friend as saying to her in almost a whisper.

“Sorry.”

“No it is alright Rainbow. I know right now she doesn’t see me as her mare-friend I just don’t know what to do about this. I know we need to find Amora’s castle and get her to help us with this yet I am afraid I will lose her for good if we fail in this mission.” Twilight replied as she looked back up at Rainbow who laid a gentle hoof onto her shoulder.

Looking at Twilight then down at her wings Rainbow saw that Twilight's right wing was badly scraped up. Walking over to Twilight's right side Rainbow began to open up Twilight's saddle bag but, stopped when Twilight shook her body causing Rainbow to back away from her. As Twilight looked at Rainbow and her back at Twilight she said to Rainbow with a confused look on her face.

“Umm why are you going through my bag Rainbow? We don’t have time to get a snack or anything of that nature you know.”

Looking at her friend Rainbow said as she narrowed her eyes to her.

“I am looking for anything you might have brought with you for wounds your right wings is bleeding Twilight. A good flyer always keeps her wings well rested and in good working order. This means since you are hurt you need to apply a bandage to your wings besides we don’t know what germs might be in this place. And with all the dirt on your body you could get an infection and wind up needing to have your wings cut off. Do you really want that to happen to you Twilight?”

“No I don’t want to lose my wings Rainbow.” Sighing heavily then looking back up at the entrance to the hole they had used for cover from Applejack’s attack on them Twilight finished saying to Rainbow. “If you are looking for something to help me clean myself up then open the left bag not the right one.”

Rainbow did as she was instructed to do and walked to Twilight's left opening up the left side of her saddle bag with her teeth. She peered inside the bag found the item she was looking for then set about fixing up her friends scraped up wing. Noticing that Twilight’s left wing was also scraped up she fixed up that wing too, and within a few moments Twilight's wings were covered in thick bandages. Once Rainbow put away the items she perked up an ear and listened to see if Applejack was still up above them. When she didn’t hear anything at all Rainbow slowly began to climb back out of the hole she and Twilight were in. Twilight chewed on her lower lip as she watched her friend poke her head out of the hole and look around. Not seeing Applejack in sight and not seeing a shadow from her body floating in the air Rainbow came back down to Twilight saying to her as she looked at her frightened friend.

“OK, I think she is gone Twilight we need to leave and find the river let me see the map maybe I can figure out where we are from here.”

Twilight used her magic unbuckled the right side of her saddle bag and floated the map over to Rainbow Dash who took it in her teeth. Placing the map down on the ground Twilight again used her magic to bring in more light so Rainbow could better study the map. After a few minutes went by Rainbow perked up saying to Twilight who looked at her with concern in her eyes.

“Hot Luna's mane! Twilight, we are only a half mile from where we need to be. If we keep going down this path we should hit the river in oh, about twenty minutes give or take on how fast you can keep up with the coolest pony in all of Tartarus.”

Twilight offered a weak smile as she used her magic to take back the map and put it back into her saddle bag. Climbing out of the hole from the boulder that Twilight and Rainbow had used for cover they both failed to realize that Applejack was actually using the boulder as cover to conceal herself for another attack on them both. Once Twilight and Rainbow were both out of the hole and had dusted themselves off they started to head towards the river stopping in their tracks when they heard small pebbles falling from the rocks that lay behind them. Turning around Twilight looked up and saw Applejack emerging from behind the very same boulder she and Rainbow had used for cover moments ago. Realizing they didn’t have time to duck back into the hole again to seek cover from this second attack Twilight turned and ran past Rainbow who also ran when a arrow almost hit her in the back left leg. Applejack screeched out in rage and began to give chase once again.

Twilight and Rainbow Dash ran throughout the outcropping of boulders as Applejack chased them towards the river. Nearing exhaustion and nearly spent Twilight took some comfort at seeing the river coming into view. Looking to Rainbow as she breathed in heavily she said to her.

“Look Rainbow it’s the river styxs which means Charon must not be too far off if we can only make it to his boat.” Twilight said as she gasped out for breath.

Applejack was quickly closing the distance between her and her former friends. Getting to the river Twilight noticed a run down old guard tower to her right and a boat coming into view. With the last of her breath almost fully spent Twilight found she had just enough strength left in her to use her magic to toss both herself and Rainbow onto the oncoming boat. As the boat pulled up to the embankment from the river Twilight said to the boat master not noticing whom she was actually speaking to.

“Quick get us out of here before she kills us!”

The boat master smiled as he held out a silver cup to Twilight shaking it in front of her. The sound of coins could be heard clinking and clanking about inside the cup. Rainbow nearly spent as well looked from the boat master then to Twilight as she breathed in heavily. Rainbow said to the boat master as she gasped for breath with Applejack quickly closing the distance between them.

“Oh, come on we need to leave and leave NOW! Get us out of here, please.”

The boat master's only reply was to shake his cup in front of Rainbow’s face as the coins inside the cup could be heard by her as well clinking and clanking about. Looking from the cup then to the boat master's face Rainbow offered him a week if not apologetic smile as she said to him while trying to play it cool.

“Oh, right….sorry about that.”

Taking out her coins from Twilight's saddle bag and nudging Twilight on right side of her body Rainbow offered to the boat master two silver and two gold coins saying to him.

“Here take this as our payment for safely taking the two of us too, Amora’s castle.”

Rainbow dropped the coins into the cup then watched at the boat master picked up his ore at the last possible minute and swung it at Applejack. Applejack slid to a halt and ducked just in time to avoid getting hit in the head by the incoming ore. Screeching out in anger at having lost her prey Applejack stomped off back towards the direction she had come in. While Twilight breathed in and out heavily as she slowly passed out in the boat that she and Rainbow were both in. Leaving Rainbow to do the talking to the boat master who glared at them saying to Rainbow with Twilight completely passed out in front of him.

“Do not worry Pegasus she will not try to attack you again while you are on my boat. I Charon master of this river and of this boat do so command thee to take that horse and move her to the bow of the boat. Leave her there then sit at the amidships of the boat. Don’t rock the boat and stay in the boat as we travel up river. Fail to do this and you will be tossed to the river Styx as I let the Akheilos and the Scylla have their way with you little one.”

Rainbow looked at Charon for a moment then swallowed hard as she knelt down and took a hold of Twilight by her mane dragging her to the front of the boat. Once Twilight was safely placed at the front of the boat Rainbow took her place in the middle of the boat and sat down as Charon nodded to her then said to her as he navigated the boat up the river.

“I will take you to Amora’s castle little one as pure your payment to me. But, because you are still alive and are not dead must, not leave this boat until we get to the castle dock itself. If you do so you will never leave here alive again.” Charon said as he brought his ore up then back down repeating this motion several times over the course of four hours.

Once Twilight had regain consciousness Rainbow got up and gently draped a wing over her eyes to keep her friend from looking at Charon. As she explained to her where they were headed Twilight could be felt nodding her approval under Rainbows wing. As she said out loud to both Charon and to Rainbow herself.

“Once we get to the castle we need to find Amora and have her help us with finding Sweetie Belle and that monster Scitalis. Then we can try to help Applejack.”

Charon hearing Twilight’s plan broke out laughing coldly to her as he said to her grimly.

“The little one that you call Sweetie Belle who goes by the name Sweet Surgot now is no pushover Twilight Sparkle. I tried to control her myself before her master showed up and I paid dearly for it. I lost half my coins to the river because of that little shade.”

Looking at Charon as the dock to Amora’s castle came into view Rainbow said to him grimly as she stared coldly at him while she covered Twilight's eyes with her wing.

“Is money all you care about Charon, can’t you at least try to be cool like my friend Twilight here? She cares about her mare-friend Applejack and wants to help her as well as Sweetie Belle.”

Charon merely laughed coldly as he pushed down onto the ore he was holding in his bony hands bringing the boat fully to the dock. As the boat stopped rocking back and forth, Charon turned away from Rainbow and Twilight. Twilight and Rainbow began to disembark with Twilight stopping only for a second to say to Charon as she felt Rainbow’s wing tickle her nose while Rainbow held her wing over her eyes.

“Thank you for the safe passage to the castle dock Charon may Celestia bless you on your journey ferry master and shade bearer.”

“Bah! Celestia’s blessing I need not Twilight Sparkle! Gold and silver is all I require. Now get off my skiff! BOTH of you!” Charon grumbled out as he looked out towards the river watching the water move and wave up and down as several river creatures could be seen lurking off in the distance.

Once Rainbow had safely gotten Twilight to the edge of the boat she said to her gently.

“Alright Twilight there is a bit of bump here so lift your legs up and I will lead you to the dock itself. I will have to take my wing off of your face if I am to set hoof to the dock. Close your eyes tightly Twilight and let me be the one to lift you up and onto the dock.”

Twilight did as Rainbow had said to her without a word to her in reply Once Twilight was safely on the dock itself Rainbow stepped up onto the dock. Placing her right wing back over Twilight's eyes as she was about to lead Twilight off the dock she stopped looked at Charon as she said to him.

“Thanks….. I think…... for helping us to cross the river Charon now my awesome friend and I need to go.” Rainbow said as she and Twilight both started to walk away.

Charon laughed wickedly as he pulled away from the dock. Once Charon was safely out of sight Rainbow took her wing off of Twilight's face saying to her as she saw Twilight still had her eyes tightly closed.

“Uh Twilight you can open your eyes now.”

Twilight opened her eyes looked up at the opposing mountain and castle before her then turned to face Rainbow saying to her gently.

“Thanks for what you did for me back there on Charon’s boat Rainbow. Now let’s see about finding Amora in this dismal place shall we?”

Rainbow gulped then started to head towards the mountain that the castle was on. Twilight followed her as the two made their way up the mountain they each in turn thought of their friends and of Amora. Hoping that Amora would be able to help them Twilight let out a soft sigh as Rainbow walked besides her she looked over at her friend and smiled to her. Getting to the castle itself Twilight and Rainbow both looked at each other with Twilight saying to Rainbow as she stepped past the castle's main gates threshold.

“Let's go save our friends Rainbow.”

As Twilight walked past the threshold of the castle's main gates Sunset's eyes snapped open as she gasped out in fear. Sunset rolled out of bed as large amounts of sweat fell from her head trickling down to her chest as she breathed in and out heavily. Hitting her head on a nightstand sitting next to her bed Sunset yelped out in pain and in fear from the nightmare she had, just had. Standing up she quickly looked to her right as she saw that Pinkie was still asleep in her bed. Pinkie was lying on her stomach with half the blankets off of her back and the other half lying on the floor where Sunset stood. Sunset placed a onyx colored hand over her heart as she could feel her heart beating fast within her chest. Sunset stood naked in her bedroom next to her bed and knocked over nightstand as she heard a soft knock coming from her bedroom door. Looking towards the door while Pinkie remained fast asleep in bed Sunset said softly to herself just as Rose Cherry walked into the room.

“She's........alive.”

Chapter three.

Consequences 2: The choice.

Sunset stood naked in her room her left hand covering her heart as she felt it beating wildly within her chest. Sunset was fully breathing in and out heavily as her mother walked up to her gently laying a hand onto her daughter's right shoulder. Sunset while not noticing as her mother came fully into her bedroom said outloud.

“She’s.....alive.”

Rose Cherry while laying a gentle hand on Sunsets right shoulder said to her daughter softly as Sunset stood there naked and completely covered in sweat.

“Sunset your trembling is everything alright?”

Sunset didn't reply to her mother’s words as she stood next to her bed as if she was in a trance unaware of anything and everything that was happening around her. Rose looked from her daughter then to the tipped over nightstand and back at her daughter. As she asked her daughter while Sunset remained standing in front of her as her body trembled with fear.

“Sunset, honey did you have a nightmare? Is that why you are trembling?”

Rose not getting a reply for her daughter and seeing that her daughter was clearly frightened looked around the room. Seeing a sheet that had been draped over a nearby chair that sat against the right wall of her daughter's bedroom. Rose Cherry let go of her daughter's shoulder walked over to the chair picked up the sheet and gently draped it over her daughter's naked body. As Rose finished tieing the sheet around Sunset’s waist so that the sheet looked like a roman toga Sunset said out loud still unaware that her mother was in her bedroom.

“It’s all my fault.”

Looking into her daughter’s eyes Rose saw that Sunset was completely devoid of life and happiness. Gently taking her daughter by her right hand Rose began to lead Sunset out of her daughter’s bedroom and towards the bathroom across the hallway. As Sunset was being lead out of the bedroom she once again said out loud as her mother opened the door to the bathroom.

“It’s all my fault.”

Bringing her daughter over to the sink and turning the water on to cold Rose very gently put Sunsets face down towards the bowl of the sink. Saying to her daughter softly as she cupped her hands and brought some cold water up to her daughter's face.

“It’s going to be OK honey I won’t let anything happen to you. It was only a nightmare honey nothing more.”

Sunset felt the cold water hit her face and trickle down her chin and neck soaking the top of the bedsheet she was wearing to cover herself. Once she was awake enough to do the job herself she began to cup her own hands under the cold running water and splashed herself several times before rising back up to look at her mother standing next to her. Sunset looked down to the bathroom floor as she heard her mother say to her gently while laying her hands onto her daughter's shoulders.

“Come down stairs honey I will make us some tea and we can talk about your nightmare.”

Rose turned to head out of the bathroom just as Pinkie woke up and saw the bathroom light coming from the hallway. Getting up out of bed and completely unaware that Rose was also up Pinkie headed into the hallway completely naked. As Rose opened the door Pinkie could be seen standing in front of it half asleep and naked. Rose shook her head as she said to Pinkie gently.

“Go back to sleep honey, Sunset will be with you in a few moments.”

Pinkie was about to turn to head back to bed when Sunsets voice stopped her in her tracks.

“No mom I would actually like to have both of you for this conversation. Besides I made a full promise to Pinkie in our my last therapy session that I wouldn’t keep anything from her. Not having her down stairs with us as we talk about what is bothering me feels somehow to be….wrong.”

Rose smiled lightly to Sunset saying to her as she looked into her daughter's eyes seeing the life slowly returning to her.

“Alright but, I think you two should at least get yourselves dressed first don’t need that noisey Moon Star starting more rumors about us. It’s only been four days since Pinkie moved in and that woman has already started enough horse hay with us to make me want to break her snout.”

Sunset laughed then placed her hands onto Pinkie's shoulders turning her girlfriend around and leading her back to her bedroom saying to her mother before she shut the door.

“Better be sure to make some coffee I think Pinkie could use a cup or two and I know I could use a pick me up especially after the…..well after what I saw when I was sleeping.”

“Alright I will also make us some breakfast have to make sure my two very beautiful daughters are fat, happy and very well fed.”

Sunset shot her mother a look of amusement as she closed the door to her room. Leading her half sleeping girlfriend back over to the bed Sunset sat her down on the edge of the bed then set about taking out a pair of pink pajama bottoms and a blue T-shirt with a little white rabbit on the front of the T-shirt from her dresser. Lying these down next to Pinkie and taking off the sheet that covered her body Sunset playfully said to Pinkie who looked at her with her eyes half open.

“You're going to look so cute and sexy in these Pinkie.”

Pinkie slowly turned her head towards the clothing that Sunset had laid next to her naked body as she looked at them she heard Sunset say to her.

“Baby if you get dressed I will make it worth your while after you put those on.”

Pinkie got up and with a little more coxing from Sunset got herself dressed. Just as Sunset turned away from Pinkie and pulled out a pair of blue pajama bottoms from the dresser she felt Pinkie wrap her arms around her stomach and nuzzle her check against hers. Sunset laid her right hand onto Pinkie's face saying to softly.

“Not yet honey we have some things that we need to talk about down stairs with mom. Who by the way is making coffee and breakfast for us.”

No sooner had Sunset finished her words to her girlfriend then Pinkie raced out the bedroom door and down stairs. Leaving Sunset to thinking to herself as she saw her girlfriend disappear from her sight.

“Hmmm note to self never ever mention mom’s coffee while standing naked next to Pinkie again.”

Pulling on her shirt and heading down stairs herself Sunset was hit with the warm aroma of fresh coffee, eggs, vegetarian bacon, freshly buttered pan fried toast and lots of fresh baked waffles. Getting into the kitchen Sunset saw Pinkie standing in front of the coffee pot with a cup her hands eagerly awaiting the coffee pot to chime out that the coffee was ready. Rose was at the stove busy bustling away making a full course meal for Sunset and Pinkie to enjoy. Once everything was fully ready and Pinkie had her coffee Rose directed the two of the sit down down at the table. As Sunset sat down at the table and looked at all the good food she was about stuff herself with she said to Rose with Pinkie sitting next to her.

“Wow mom you have really outdone yourself. I don’t know if my stomach can hold all this wonderfully good looking food.”

Rose smiled as she filled up Sunsets plate with as much food as the plate could hold without it breaking in her hands. Handing the very full plate over to her daughter and taking Pinkies plate to repeat the process Rose said to Sunset who started to dig in.

“Alright honey, now that you have a plate of warm food in front of you and a cup of tea on the way care to talk about your nightmare.”

Sunset swallowed a piece of toast she had been munching on as she looked at her mother then at Pinkie who eagerly took her own plate of food once it was offered to her by Rose. Watching Pinkie fully delve into her plate of food Sunset smiled warmly as she said to her mother.

“Yes now that I have something inside me I feel like talking about it.”

“So what happened? Did you see a dragon? Or a really big lizard? Or maybe you saw a big cake and you couldn’t eat all of it? Or perhaps you saw a dragon lizard cake monster in your dream?” Pinkie inquired without taking breath to stop eating.

Looking at Pinkie with a raised eyebrow Sunset took a bite of her food chewed and swallowed then said to her just as Rose sat down at the table.

“No Pinkie it wasn’t anything like that, I saw Applejack in my…..vision she was fully turned into a demon and she was chasing Twilight and Rainbow Dash.”

“Sunset honey are you sure it was a vision and not a nightmare?” Rose chimed in as Sunset looked at her then over to Pinkie who had her mouth fully packed with waffles and greens.

Smirking at the scene in front of her Sunset simply nodded to Rose who set her cup of tea down then let out a soft sigh. As she said to Sunset while Sunset scooped up a fork full of greens and waffles then popped it into her mouth chewing slowly on it to savor the taste of it.

“Ok, Sunset let’s say for the sake of not starting an argument here that it was a vision you had and not a nightmare. Where in that awful place would you place Twilight and Rainbow if they were indeed being chased by a demonic form of Applejack?”

Sunset placed her fork down onto her plate then picked up a nearby napkin as she wiped her mouth clean she said to her mother in a soft voice while looking down at her plate.

“I would have to say they seemed to be in the A’dis desert or at least on the very edge of it. I would say they had to be at least a half mile from the river Styx. Which therefore means that Charon shouldn’t be too far off. Which also means they are headed right for Amora’s castle.”

Picking up her own napkin and wiping her mouth off as well Rose said softly to Sunset who had noticed the look of fear in her mother's eyes.

“Why…..why would you think that this is your fault honey? You didn’t send either of them there I know you chose to remain here which was unto itself was perhaps a very good choice for you to make. Yet that those two going there was not your making or your fault.?

Sunset pushed herself away from the table got up and headed into the living room with Pinkie getting up and following her into the living room as well. Sunset looked out the window next to the sofa as she hugged herself with tears falling freely down her cheeks. Pinkie came up behind her and immediately took a hold of Sunset as she started to cry hard. Rose also came into the living room just as Sunset blurted out while Pinkie held her in her arms.

“It is all my fault that she is there….I killed her.”

Rose looked down at the floor then back up at her daughter who was sobbing hard into Pinkie's shoulder. As Sunset cried Rose said to Sunset who sobbed even harder than before while Pinkie held her in her arms.

“This isn’t about Applejack becoming a demon is it honey?”

Sunset sniffed hard as she cried out in anger and pain.

“I saw her mother! She’s alive, it’s all my fault mother, it's all my fault.....that she is there.”

Not sure as to what her girlfriend was talking about Pinkie gently led Sunset over to the couch then sat her down as she rubbed her back and ran her fingers in her hair. Pinkie said to her Sunset as Sunset cried on her shoulder with her mother standing in front of the two of them.

“Who is alive Sunny? What are you so upset about?”

Sunset while fully crying into Pinkie's shoulder was only able to blurt out three words as she choked on the very notion of what she had seen.

“Sunrise is……….alive.”

Chapter four.

Consequences 2: The choice.

Chapter Four.

Twilight and Rainbow made it safely inside Amora’s castle. Looking around the castle Twilight found a flight of stairs that led downward and off the left. While Rainbow had taken to the air and found a balcony leading to a room off to the right. As the two of them were each about to go their separate ways they both in turn failed to see a guard coming out of a room off to center of the entryway of the castle. As the guard descended the stairs he looked up for a brief moment from a scroll he had been carrying with him. When he saw that neither Twilight or Rainbow had noticed him he yelled out to them drawing his sword and charging towards Twilight.

“Intruders! You two halt in the name of the queen.”

Rainbow and Twilight both looked towards the guard as he charged up towards Twilight swinging his sword towards her head. Twilight ducked just in time as the massive sword hit a suit of armor behind her knocking it over. The noise attracted six more guards who all came running into the entryway of the castle with swords drawn. Each of them charged towards Twilight as she tried to stand back up as she had ducked from the first guards attack on her. Rainbow while flying in the air and not wanting her friend to get hurt swooped down behind the seven guards that now surrounded Twilight. Tackling them she was able to knock four of them to the ground while Twilight used her magic to knock back the other three. As Rainbow and the four guards all began to stand back up and each readied themselves for another attack a black energy bolt was fired between Rainbow and the guards. A loud angry voice could be heard off to the right as Rainbow looked up at the very same balcony she was had wanted to land on to explore the room behind it she heard the voice yell out to them all.

“ENOUGH!”

Looking up the guards all dropped to their knees when they saw Amora standing on the balcony above them. Twilight and Rainbow both looked at her as one of the guards reached out and grabbed onto Twilight pushing her to her stomach on the floor hissing out to her with anger in his voice.

“You will bow to our queen Tirek slave.”

Before Twilight or Rainbow could react they both heard Amora snap her fingers as the guards stood up and took out from behind their backs black shackles. That were attached to belts that they all wore around their waist. These they placed around Twilight’s front hooves and neck as well as her back hooves. Rainbow being able to fly tried to fly away but, was stopped when a guard took out a collapsible net from his back pocket and threw it over Rainbow causing her to come crashing back to the ground. Hitting the ground hard with a loud painful thump Rainbow yelled out to the guard as she too was shackled around her front and back hooves and her neck.

“Hey wait we are not working with that uncool monster Tirek.”

Amora snapped her fingers again as she yelled out from the balcony to the guards.

“Bring them to the throne room we shall see if they are indeed telling the truth.”

The guards began to drag Twilight towards a flight of stairs off to the right as they ascended the stairs both Twilight and Rainbow struggled in their bonds. Having little patience to deal with the two struggling ponies one of the seven guards took out his sword again and hit Twilight on the head with the pummel of his sword knocking her out cold. Rainbow looked from her then to the guard as she yelled out to him angrily.

“Hey! There, was no need to do that.”

The guard responded by hitting Rainbow in the head as well knocking her out cold as well. Getting to the throne room a few minutes latter Amora was fully seated on her throne staring angrily at both the guards and at the unconscious Twilight and Rainbow. As she looked from Twilight then to Rainbow she said grimly to the guards watching over their captives.

“Which one of you knocked them out?”

“I did your majesty I am the one that knocked them out.” one of the guards said as he stepped forward.

Amora leapt from her throne drawing her sword as she ran up to the guard. Raising her sword to the right the guard tried to duck but, was stopped when two other guards grabbed him by his arms holding him in place. Screaming out in terror as Amora’s sword found its mark as her sword cut his head from his shoulders. His head sailed through the air and landed several feet away from his body. Blood and intestines sprayed from his neck halfway covering Amora’s body. She leapt into the air again then landed behind the dead guard and spun on her heels in a full circle as she drew her sword across the dead guard’s midsection. Completely and fully slicing his body in half just as his torso was about to separate itself from the lower section of his body Amora raised her sword up into the air. Then with a loud screech brought the demonic blade back down into the neck of the decapitated guard’s body. Slicing his body through to his groin area causing more blood and guts flying outwards as she withdrew her sword from the dead guard’s body. With his body falling to the ground Amora pointed her sword at the other six guards saying to them as the dead guard’s body fell to pieces on the throne room floor in front of her.

“Who else wants to disobey my orders?”

Each of the guards came to attention placing their right hands over their left shoulders then thrust their hands outwards with their thumbs tucked underneath their palms. In unison they all chanted in one single voice.

“ALL HAIL AMORA, QUEEN OF THE DEMONS.”

Seeing that the other guards didn’t want to die as well and showing their loyalty to her Amora began to walk back to her throne stopping as she looked at one of the guards. Saying to him with her sword drawn outwards and pointing the blade at his neck.

“You! Bring two bowls of boiling water and salt here at once. Place each bowl in front of Twilight and Rainbow then clean this mess up. Take that traitors body down to the cook's station have them cook the body and feed it to the prisoners in the dungeons.”

As the guard saluted his queen Amora watched him turn to leave calling out to him just as he got to the throne room doors.

“And remember if you disobey me your fate shall be worse than death itself.”

The guard turned saluted Amora then made a hasty retreat from the throne room. Walking back to her throne and sitting upon it Amora looked at the other five guards reaming in her throne room as she said to them.

“As for the rest of you, unchain those two at once then leave once they are freed.”

Each of the five remaining soldiers saluted her then set to work of removing Twilight's and Rainbow's chains. Once the two of them were freed the guards again saluted Amora and left the throne room. A few minutes went by as the guard that was sent to retrieve the boiling water and salt came back with two bowls of water in his hands. Placing one each under Rainbow and Twilight's snouts he then poured rock salt into the water stirred it with his dagger then got up to begin cleaning up the mess that was of the dead guard. Once Twilight and Rainbow each regained consciousness Twilight looked over at the guard who was cleaning up his dead comrades body parts. As she watched him pick up piece after piece of the dead guard she suddenly wretched on the floor in front of her. The guard stopped what he was doing and looked over to Amora who simply stared coldly back at him gripping the hilt of her sword as she strummed her fingers on the left arm rest of her throne. Seeing the un-bemused look on her face the guard very quickly grabbed what was left his dead comrade and made a hasty retreat towards the throne room doors. Stopping when Amora’s sword suddenly impaled him through the back just as he got up to the doors. Twisting the sword to the right then to the left Amora cooed wickedly into the guards ear as his body was slowly sucked into the gem on her sword.

“I warned you not to disobey me. Now your, soul is mine!”

Rainbow seeing this action taken by Amora also wretched her stomach empty just as Twilight had done before her. Amora turned around after withdrawing her sword from the throne room doors and started to walk back to her throne. Stopping in front of Twilight and Rainbow who both stared at her with both confusion and fear plastered on their faces. Kneeling down she placed a hand onto Twilight's shoulder saying to her as she looked into the frightened alicorn's eyes and Twilight stared back at Amora.

“Stand up Twilight, you and I have some things we need to talk about. But first you must prove to you are who you say you are.”

Twilight looked into Amora's eyes as she said to her as she slowly stood up.

"What proof do you want of me Amora? What proof shall I give you that will show you I am who I claim to be?"

Amora placed a hand over her chin as she tapped her chin a few times with a finger saying to Twilight as she stood up then looked down at the frighted Alicorn in front of her.

"Tell me Twilight what did I say to Sunset Shimmer just before we went into battle? If you are who you claim to be and not a slave to Tirek or a changeling then you should know this."

Twilight sighed then looked at Rainbow as she returned her gaze back to Amora she said to her while she cleared her throat.

“Oh grow the fuck up Sunset. So you lost your family and you lost two parental figures that both saw you cry, So what? Get off your damn flank unicorn and grow up. Let this make you into a stronger pony or person which ever you want to be. But, don’t sit there and cry you fucking eyes out to your friends whining about how you are such a disappointment to them. If you don’t want to be a disappointment to them then get off your damn ass and learn about true friendship. While at the same time you break the noise’s of those that treated you like shit.”

Amora smiled and nodded to Twilight saying to her as she slowly walked back to her throne then sat down upon it.

"You are indeed who you say you are. Only the real Twilight would have enough unmitigated gall in her character to swear at me while in my kingdom. Very well you need not prove to me that Rainbow is who she is. I can tell she is who she is by the armor she is wearing. But I can not and will not betray the trust of the one that made that armor by telling you of how I know this Twilight."

Twilight nodded to her then looked down at Rainbow as Rainbow remained on her stomach in front of Amora saying to Rainbow as Rainbow looked at Amora then to Twilight with a look of confusion on her face.

“Stand up Rainbow, I don’t think Amora wants to hurt either of us.”

Twilight saw the look of confusion on her friends face and simply shook her head as she heard Amora say to her while Rainbow got off the floor of the throne room.

“You would be correct Twilight I don’t want to hurt either of you, yet I will only speak to you and you alone. Rainbow shall remain here. Whereas you shall follow me there are some issues we need to clear up.” Amora chimed in as Rainbow slowly stood up then looked at Amora as Twilight was beginning to knell before her saying to Amora as she knelt before her.

“Your majesty is most kind. Queen of the demons please allow me to walk with you as we talk about what must be said to each other.”

“I see you have been well schooled in diplomacy Twilight.” Amora said while she gestured towards the throne room doors. “Come walk with me.”

Twilight and Amora, both left the throne room leaving Rainbow to explore the throne room alone. As Amora walked out of the throne she stopped in front of a guard stationed outside of the throne itself saying loudly enough for Rainbow to clearly hear her words.

“The Pegasus is allowed to explore my throne room and nothing else. If she attempts to leave the throne room place her in chains and take her to the dungeon. From there you will teach her the meaning of ‘remain here’. If she offers you ANY resistance whatsoever remove her legs from her body.”

The guard saluted her as she and Twilight walked by him. Amora lead Twilight down a hallway leading away from the throne room towards a large red set of doors. Once she got there she pushed both doors open and gestured for Twilight to follow her inside the next room. Twilight did so without question. To Twilight's right as she looked around the room there were marble statues of demons both female and male each one carrying different suits of armor and weapons. To her left were torches each one mounted to a stone pillar and each torch stood six feet long with blue and green flames jetting from the bowl of each torch. Amora lead Twilight through this room then to another room that had a single portrait in it. To the right and to the left of the portrait were four, five foot high torches each one had a butterfly carved into their marble staves. As Twilight looked at the portrait on the wall Amora knelt down in front of it placing her right hand over her left shoulder and dropping her left hand to the ground where she knelt. Her right leg was up in her kneeling position and her left leg was down with her foot bent so that she could rise again quickly if she needed to do so. She bowed her head as she said with Twilight standing behind her.

“Dronchi….my amans volitant lith.”

Twilight watched as Amora stood back then turned to face her friend. As Amora gestured towards the portrait with her right hand raised up and her fingers pointing towards a nearby window. She said to Twilight who stepped closer to the four torchos that adorned the wall to left and right of it to get a better look at the portrait hanging in front of her.

“Do recognize her, Twilight?”

Twilight looked from the portrait then to Amora as she said to her.

“Yes Amora but, that can’t be Fluttershy she was never sent to Tartarus before. So how is it that you have a portrait of her?"

Amora smiled a bit as she said to her Twilight with tears running down her cheeks.

“This is not Fluttershy, Twilight, you would be right in that regard that your friend Fluttershy never came here before. This is her ancestor you look upon the portrait of Flutter Lith. I will fully explain this to you once we clear a few things up Twilight.”

Twilight looked from the portrait then back to Amora as she noticed the tears coming down Amora’s cheeks. Twilight said to her as Amora let out a soft yet noticeable sigh.

Amora, your crying. What is wrong?”

Amora lowered her head then walked over to the nearby window and peered out the glass of the window towards the lands that made up the borders of her home. As she looked out the window she saw gold and red haired female demon land in the castle courtyard. It made a body gesture of screeching out wards then tucked its wings back into its back. Amora watched in silence as the royal guards of the castle tried to subdue the demon only to be ripped apart by her attacks on them. Turning back to face Twilight with tears running down her cheeks she said to her as Twilight looked at her then back at the portrait on the wall facing her as Amora raised her hand to her face and wiped away her tears.

“It is time that I tell you everything Twilight. But, first we are about to have company.”

Amora began to walk away from Twilight towards the doors she had led her to. As Amora got to the doors and pushed them open she turned to Twilight who began to follow her out of the room they both were in and nodded to her. The two made their way back to the throne room and Amora took her place on her throne gesturing for Rainbow to sit to her right and for Twilight to sit to her left. As Twilight and Rainbow both sat down on their haunches Amora gripped the hilt of her sword tightly with her right hand. Looking towards the throne room doors Amora watched as the doors to her throne room burst open. Several of her royal guards lifeless bodies where thrown through the air landing just a few feet from Rainbow’s hooves. Amora let go of her sword and lowered her hands to the right and left of her throne grabbing onto Twilight and Rainbow by their manes. Fulling stopping both Rainbow and Twilight from charging forwards as the golden and red haired female demon flew into Amora's throne room and landed a few feet from Amora’s throne. Screeching out in rage the female golden red haired demon looked at Amora who was fully holding both Rainbow and Twilight back by their manes. The female demon said only four words to Amora as Amora stared back at her with clear anger showing in her blackened eyes.

“Sunset where is she?!?”

Consequences 2: The choice.

Sunset remained in Pinkie's arms crying in her shoulder for ten minutes as Pinkie gently led her girlfriend over to the couch and sat her down. Rose took a chair from the kitchen table and brought it into the living room and sat down in front of Pinkie and Sunset. Sunset slowly raised her head up from Pinkie's shoulder saying to her as she tried to offer her a weak smile.

“Sunrise is my…….sister. Pinkie I killed her when I was a child.”

Pinkie held Sunset tightly in her arms saying to her gently as she rubbed her back with her hands.

“You never spoke about having a sister Sunny perhaps now is the time. Besides every time we bring up family in therapy you seem to avoid it as if it is the plague. Please tell us what happened why did you say you killed her. I know you well enough to know that you are not capable of such an act.”

Sunset gently pushed herself away from Pinkie's warm embrace as she got up from the couch Pinkie reached out and grabbed her by the wrest saying to her gently.

“Sunny please tell us what happened. Don’t turn me away from this. I want to help you if I can.”

Sunset stopped as she felt more tears falling down her cheeks she sniffed hard then felt Pinkie embrace her again as she closed her eyes she said to Pinkie.

“I love you Pinkie but, I am scared to tell you what happened. I told a small amount of this to Applebloom when she was going through her own pain from losing Applejack.”

“Sunny just take it slow and tell us what happened we will not judge you for this I love you too much to do that to you.” Pinkie said as she held Sunset in her arms.

Sunset closed her eyes then embraced Pinkie by wrapping her arms around Pinkie’s waist saying to her as she held her in her arms.

“Alright Pinkie you win…...I’ll talk about it.”

Sunset returned to the couch and Rose got up then headed into the kitchen returning with a tea kettle and three cups. She poured each of them a cup then said to Sunset as she handed her a cup of warm tea.

“Drink this before you talk about your sister Sunset it will help calm your nerves as well as sooth your soul.”

Sunset looked at the tea then at her mother as she took the cup from her she sat down on the couch and took a large gulp of the tea. The warm liquid filled her throat with soothing moisture and relaxing tenderness as the taste of mint and honey could be felt running down her throat. Sunset sighed then motioned Pinkie to join her on the couch by patting the cushion next to her. As she set her cup down on the floor in front of her Pinkie smiled to Sunset as she too took a gulp of her tea. Pinkie then sat down while Rose also sat down on her chair in front of Sunset and Pinkie. As Sunset relaxed into the cushions of the couch she looked from Pinkie then to her mother saying to both of them as she let out a soft sigh.

“I was four moons old so in human terms I would have been about five maybe six years of age. Anyways, I was playing outside of our home in ponyville, when Sunrise came up to me asking to see what I was playing with. I backed away from the toy that I was playing so she could see it better and she used her magic on it. As her magic enveloped the toy she suddenly attacked me. To this very day I do not know what caused her to do that. During our fight I lost it and used my own magic on her. I was trying to use a small amount of magic to knock her out. Yet something within me caused my magic to explode and I hit her in the chest causing her body to burst into flames. I tried to save her I really did but I was unable to cease the use of my magic and only made things worse. She died screaming as she burned to death in front of me.”

Pinkie placed her hand onto Sunsets shoulder saying to her gently as Sunset wiped a few tears from her eyes.

“Honey it was an accident nothing more.”

“I know it was only an accident Pinkie but, there is more to this than just me killing her after she died remember when I said I was unable to cease my magic and only made things worse?”

“Yes” Pinkie said as she looked into Sunsets teal colored eyes.

“Well I made things worse by opening a portal right to the very heart of Tartarus. Only those with demon blood in their veins can do that Pinkie. Or those that are very old and have learned the most ancient of spells can also do that. For a five or six year old to do something like that was unheard of. My mother and father weren’t just afraid of me they actually wanted me to die for what I did to my sister. Their cruelty to me would shatter your mind with anger and pain Pinkie. Four days after I was left in the city to die alone on the streets of starvation and flesh rot caused by the rotting food I was eating from the trash cans that adored the city streets. I found my way back to my home and as my father tried to use his magic on me to end my life I again lost it. I used my own magic on him but, as I tried to hit him with my magic I missed hitting the house causing the whole place to go up in flames. To make matters worse for me I felt something when my mother and father both died in the fire that I am not proud of and still carry the guilt of this around with me.”

Pinkie got up off the couch and knelt down in front of Sunset taking her by her hands while holding her hands warmly in her own Pinkie said gently to Sunset.

“What did you feel Sunny? Please tell me, I want to help you through this.”

Sunset looked away from Pinkie as a tear slipped down her cheek saying to her when Pinkie put her hand under Sunsets chin turning her head back towards her. So there eyes would meet each others and lock fully onto each other.

My parents were no saints at all I wanted to make them pay for what they had done to me and I took pure unending unyielding pleasure in their deaths. “Your welcome my beautiful daughters. Now you two go scamper off and enjoy yourselves I am going to head outside for my morning run.”

Pinkie a bit confused ended her warm embrace to Rose by saying to her gently.

“Rose why do you keep calling us ‘my beautiful daughters’?”

Rose smiled to Pinkie as she laid her hand onto the disc that was glowing in the middle of Pinkies chest saying to her softly.

“Because Pinkie you ARE my daughter. You may not be married to Sunset….just yet but, that doesn’t matter. When you asked my daughter to marry you and she accepted, you became my daughter. I also want you to know that there is at least one pony in this world that will love you as a daughter and will not ever treat you the way your……. mother did. The day you moved in here and Sunset tartarus near broke your mother’s jaw for what she said to you. Was when I fully decided that you needed me just as much as Sunset needed me. So thus unto you have become my daughter like it or not I will do whatever it takes to prove this to you.”

“Thank you rose for taking care of me and for showing me that you do love me.” said as she laid her head onto Rose Cherries shoulder letting out a happy sigh.

And I will Tartarus thank you to drop the issue. What those two do in my home is up to them not up to me or to you for that matter.”

“Boy somebody woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning.” Red joked as she ran a little faster.

Rose shot Red a look of unamusment then said to Celestia as she continued on her morning run.

“I am sorry Celestia, and I am sorry to you too Red. I didn’t mean to snap at you Celestia.”

“I know you didn’t mean to Rose and not to worry I won’t take offense to it.” Celestia replied as she too started to run a bit faster trying to keep up with Rose and Red.

“I just want to make sure those two have the best memories between them I know what is coming and if something goes wrong. Well I want them both to be able to recall the happiest times they both shared with each other.”

No sooner had Rose said this to Celestia did both Red and Celestia stop abruptly in their tracks. Rose didn’t notice them stopping until Red called out to her as she ran a few feet up the sidewalk past Red and Celestia. Red and Celestia were leaning over with their hands on their knees both breathing in heavily when Rose stopped and looked back at them. Lightly jogging back to them she said to both of them as she watched them breathing in and out as if they were about to pass out.

“You two have got to get into better shape.”

“Hmph!” Celestia replied with a grunt as she slowly stood up then faced Rose with sweat coming down her face.

“W..wh..what is coming Rose, Is this something that the government needs to be aware of?” Red chimed in as Rose looked down at the side walk with sweat also coming down her face while she breathed in heavily.

As she looked back up to both Celestia and Red she said to them only eight words that caused them both to fully lose all the color in their faces.

“The end of all known existence and creation.”

Amora held fast to Twilight and Rainbow who struggled in her powerful grasp trying desperately to get free of her hands. Kicking her hooves outwards and yelping in pain as she tried in vain to get free Twilight yelped out as she felt Amora’s grasp on her mane only tighten more with each and every thrust she gave. Twilight said as she was held back by Amora’s powerful grip.

“OW! Amora that hurts, let go of me this very instant!”

“This is so not cool Amora let go of us!” Rainbow yelped as well.

Amora said nothing to either of them as Sunrise hissed at her. Amora in reply to Sunrise hissing at her snarled at her. This went on for ten minutes Amora would snarl like a rabid dog and Sunrise would hiss like cat after a mouse. Amora seeing that Sunrise was not about to leave her castle let go of Twilight and Rainbow Dash’s manes as she leapt off of her throne. Flying in the air she came crashing back down to the throne room floor slamming her fist into Sunrise’s left temple knocking her up against the throne room doors.The blow was so powerful that it knocked Sunrise out cold upon impacting with the doors. As Sunrise slumped forward Amora caught her in her awaiting arms yelling out for her guards as she held Sunrise in her arms.

“Guards! Come to my throne room at once!”

Four royal castle guards entered the throne room, each of them looked from Amora then to Sunrise and back again as they all came to attention and saluted Amora. Amora nodded to them as she said to each of them.

“Take Sunrise Shimmer to my bedchambers, make her comfortable and place ten brak’lu soldiers in front of the doors. Lock the doors and make no attempt to subdue her when she wakes up. I will deal with her once I am done talking with Twilight. Now, go!”

Turning back towards Twilight and Rainbow Amora saw a look of confusion on both of their faces as she walked back to her throne after placing Sunrise into the arms of one of her guards she said to Twilight.

“By the look on your face Twilight am I to fully assume you had no idea that demon was related to your friend Sunset Shimmer?”

“That is correct, Amora is that demon her cousin or is she just using the name 'shimmer' to partake in some sort of sick joke with us. Because I happen to know that Sunset doesn’t have any family at all. That is not any biological family. I mean she has Rose Cherry but, they are not related.”

“Twilight the demon that my guards just took out of here.” Amora replied with anger in her voice as she pointed toward the throne room doors. “Is not using Sunset’s last name as a joke against you, she is in very real fact Sunset Shimmer’s sister. It really doesn’t surprise me at all that you don’t know about her. Yet what does surprise me is that you would automatically assume that she is using the name ‘Shimmer’ to play a joke on you. Now before I explain to you why Sunset’s sister is in Tartarus and not in Equestria there are some things we need to clear up first.”

“Like what sort of things Amora?” Rainbow chimed in as she placed a hoof over her neck and gently rubbed her neck to relieve herself from the pain she felt in her neck.

Amora looked at Rainbow then back at Twilight as she said to Twilight while motioning for Rainbow to sit in front of her rather than at her side.

“Like why you two are here and what gives either of you the right to be in my castle.”

Looking from Rainbow then to Twilight Amora began to strum her fingers on the armrest of her throne. As Rainbow and Twilight both in turn glanced at each other. Just as Amora was about to say something Twilight chimed in as she said to her sternly.

“You know you too have some things that we need cleared up as well.”

Amora glared at Twilight angrily then placed a hand over the bridge of her nose as she massaged it gently saying to Twilight while looking downwards.

“Such as what Twilight. I have already told you who it was that you saw in the portrait back in the chamber you and I went to. So what else is there for me to talk to you about.”

“Such as why you killed those two guards earlier. Or why you think that Sunrise is Sunset Shimmer’s sister when she has no family other than Rose and soon to be Pinkie. Or how Fluttershy in Equestria is somehow as crazy as it might sound related to a vampire of all things.”

“One,” Amora said holding up her hand and lowering her index finger. “I killed the guards because they disobeyed my orders. I ordered them to bring you before me, not to knock you both out. Here in Tartarus when an order is very specifically given and then has other duties added onto it by the one that order was given to, it is seen as a challenge to the one that gave those orders. Had I let that challenge go unchecked I would have been seen as weak. And thus my guards even, the brak’lu would have turned on me.”

Twilight looked at Amora as two guards came into the throne room and Amora said to Twilight while looking past her at the guards.

“Two.” Amora said as she lowered her middle finger. “Just because your friend Sunset never told you about her sister doesn’t mean she doesn’t have a sister Twilight. I am sure you have family members that you don’t like to talk about either. Well the same is true with Sunset she doesn’t like to talk about her sister. And it is not my place to tell you about her. What I will say is this though. Those two have a lot of healing to do, healing that for Sunrise’s sake must be done.”

“Three.” Amora lowered her ring finger. “Fluttershy is related to Flutter Lith because she is a descendant of hers. Why do you think I called the Fluttershy in the mirror world and the one in Equestria a ‘potential’ Twilight? Many eons ago before I was born Flutter Lith was the absolute ruler of the vampires that lived in the caves and mountains of the Elysium. Her father king Rhadamanthus died in battle when the first war for Tartarus was fought. I am only 80 thousand years old Twilight I was not around for this war. Yet I was around for the first war in Equestria. Flutter Lith and I were……”

Amora sighed as a few tears slipped by her eyes she looked down at Twilight who looked at her with a look of concern and understanding as she said to her.

“It doesn’t matter Twilight what she and I were to each other. Flutter Lith died after I reached the age of ‘C’ath-rugadh’. I keep her portrait because she was…...Look it is time for you tell me why you are here and what gives you the right to be in my castle Twilight Sparkle.”

Twilight seeing she was not going to get any further information out of Amora. Who strummed her fingers on the arms of her throne said to Amora as she looked down at the floor in front of her.

“We have come here Amora because we need your help. Applejack has become corrupted she attacked both myself and Rainbow Dash only a few short hours ago. Rainbow and I were in some what I would have to call a desert. I call it that simply because I am not sure what else to call it. But, we, were yes, indeed attacked by Applejack I think Rainbow might have the arrow with her but, I am not sure of this.”

Amora’s eyes flashed red for but, the very briefest of seconds then went back to their normal black and green hue until Twilight said to her.

“Sweetie Belle has also become corrupted as well, Both Rainbow and I are also looking for her and the that did this to her and Applejack. He called his Scitalis at least I think that is what he called himself.”

No sooner had Scitalis’s name left Twilight’s lips did the demon queen Amora leapt from her throne and in one single movement fully pounced on Twilight.To Twilight's absolute shock Amora was fully lifting her up into the air. With her hind legs dangling six feet off the ground and Amora flapping her wings while rising into the air she choked Twilight steadily in her right hand. Amora yelled out to Twilight as she held the very stunned and frightened alicorn in her powerful grasp.

Twilight while being choked by Amora’s power grip around her throat just barely managed to cough out to Amora.

“Amora (choking) please (choking) your crushing (choking) my throat.”

Amora snarled to Twilight as she drew her arm back then thrust her arm forward letting go of Twilight. Twilight sailed through the air and came crashing down into the throne room doors with a loud sickening thud. Rainbow lunged at Amora in an attempt to stop her attack on Twilight. Only to be stopped herself when Amora seeing Rainbow lunging at her backhanded Rainbow in her jaw knocking into the right wall that was next to her. Amora then turned her attention back to Twilight who was just picking herself up from the throne room floor after having been thrown through the air and hitting the throne room door. As Amora landed in front of Twilight she reached down and again grabbed Twilight by her throat picking her up once again. While slamming Twilight into the doors of her throne room Amora snarled out to Twilight.

“If you mention that name to me again Twilight I will kill you.”

As Amora pushed the throne room doors open she tossed Twilight back into the air and watched as she hit the floor with another loud thump. Twilight slid to a stop in front of one of the guards placed outside of the throne room. As Twilight came to a stop at the guard's feet Amora said while turning her attention back to Rainbow Dash who was just getting up off the floor.

“Now get out of my castle.”

Rainbow shook off the pain she was in and again charged Amora who simply side stepped Rainbow while reaching out and grabbing her by her wings. Amora spun in a circle then threw Rainbow out of her throne room causing the pegasus to sail through the air in a tumbling motion until she too stopped in front of the guard. The guard sighed knelt down and gently picked up the very bewildered Twilight in his arms and nodded to Amora who in turn snarled to him. Looking up at Rainbow he said to her while holding Twilight in his arms.

“If you value your friends neck you will call off your attack on the queen and follow me to the castle gates.”

Rainbow looked from the guard then to Amora who was walking past her throne as she made a gesture with her body showing the guard she was about to attack Amora again. The guard set Twilight down then pulled out a dagger from behind his back placed it to Twilight's throat and said to Rainbow just before she crossed the threshold of Amora’s throne room.

“I shall and absolutely will kill this alicorn Pegasus you have but, Two choices you can follow me or watch her die!”

Rainbow hearing this landed then closed her eyes as she said to the guard who put away his dagger and picked Twilight back up in his arms.

“Alright you win. I will follow you just, don’t hurt her please.”

The guard nodded to Rainbow and began to lead her to the front gates of the castle. Getting to the front gates a half hour later the guard set Twilight down on the ground. Then gently brushed a lock her hair from her eyes as he said to her while placing both hands down at her sides.

“Let me heal your wounds so that you might be able to fly again.”

The guards hands glowed a soft white in color as Twilight felt her wings heal and the bandages fall off of her wings. Once she was fully healed he stood up then said while pointing towards the west.

“If you are really bent on saving one of your own you will find the one you seek in that direction. As for your little friend the one you call ‘sweetie Bell’ you need not search for her. She and that proditor will be here soon.There is a item here that he needs if his plans are to come to bear fruit. Now I can say nothing else on this subject. If you want to save your friend go in that direction you will find her there you will also find an amulet that might help with her memories.”

Looking at the guard Twilight replied to him with a look of confusion on her face.

“Why are you helping me?”

“I am helping my queen, not you. I am far too old to care what she does to me for giving you this information.” The gaurd replied as he turned to leave Twilight and Rainbow where the both stood.

“But you're a brak’lu soldier shouldn’t that entail that you would be seen as weak in front of your queen for doing this?” Rainbow chimed in as the guard stopped and looked back at her and Twilight over his left shoulder.

Turning his gaze back to the castle and slowly walking off Rainbow and Twilight heard him say to them as he slowly disappeared from sight.

“Brak’lu though I may be. Even I know that my queen can not face that Hlafordwica on her own. He is far too, powerful for that. Now I must go back to my duties and you must leave NOW.”

Twilight turned away from the departing guard unfurled her wings and took off in the direction that he had pointed in. Rainbow followed her as she thought to herself while flying after Twilight.

“I hope Applejack will be OK, I wonder what really awesome item we will find out there?”

Amora headed out of her throne room through a side door and headed to her bedroom chamber. Getting to the chamber she heard Sunrise screeching as she saw her bedchamber door move flex back and forth while Sunrise pounded away on the door. Looking to the Brak’lu guards that were stationed in front of her bedroom door she said to them while fully glaring at them.

“Leave us, NOW!”

The guards saluted her then left the area. Opening her door Amora was greeted with a red onyx fist to her face. As her head shot back and a small amount of blood trickled down her her lip from her nose she grined to Sunrise who snarled back to her. Amora pushed Sunrise back into her bedroom chamber then closed the door and locked it. Sunrise backed away from Amora and cocked her head to the right as Amora gestured to the bed saying to her sternly.

“You will sit or your will die where you stand.”

Sunrise looked from the bed then to Amora as she slowly walked over to the bed and sat down. Amora seeing that Sunrise was at least willing to cooperate headed to her dresser opened the top drawer of it then took out a small wooden black box. This she placed onto the dresser itself and took out the item within it holding it up so that Sunrise could see it clearly Amora said to her as she walked over to her then sat down next to her.

“If I give you this, you in turn will swear to me fully that you will call off your attack that you wish to do to your sister. I owe her, a life debt and it shall be paid in full but, I also owe you one as well. My debt to you shall be paid in full when you take this from me. Are we clear on this matter?”

Sunrise looked from the item in Amora’s outstretched hand then to Amora herself as she hissed out to her while taking the item from her hand.

“Your debt to me is paid I will not go after my sister for what she did to me.”

“Do you remember why you attacked your sister causing her to kill you and send your soul here Sunrise?” Amora replied as she got off the bed then headed back over to her dresser.

Amora watched Sunrise shake her head through a mirror that was hanging a few inches above her dresser. As Sunrise reached behind her neck to clasp the item that Amora had given her around her neck she heard Amora say to her four words only as the item in her hands began to glow bright yellow.

“You are about to.”

Amora smiled as she watched the item around Sunrise’s neck glow and Sunrise herself fell backwards onto her bed. Amora walked back to her bed and climbed onto it as she gently pulled Sunrise up close to her and held onto her while her body began to twitch. Amora brushed a lock of hair out of Sunrise’s eyes while she held onto her in her arms. As Amora held her in her arms she watched with interest as Sunrise’s eyes glowed yellow. When Sunrise’s body stopped twitching she sat up while still being held in Amora’s arms she said only two words to Amora as she looked at her with tears running down her face.

“I remember.”

Sweet Surgot and Scitalis walked side by side each other into a ruined city. As Sweet Surgot got into the city she looked around the dilapidated run down city and saw just off to her right a demon that was impaled on a metal pike. Running up to him she could clearly see that half his stomach was lying on the ground in front of her. As she got closer to him she looked him up and down while the other half his stomach was slowly falling out of his body. Looking from the demon then back to her master she said to him as he walked up behind her.

“Look master isn’t that Tirek the demon lord of Tartarus?”

Looking at Tirek's almost lifeless body Scitalis said to his pupil as he pulled her back to a safe distance.

“Yes my student you have done very well to find him. Now remain here my student I will deal with him besides he has information that I must have in order to have my vengeance on Twilight.”

Sweet Surgot did as she was told to do, Scitalis seeing that he was not going to get an argument out of his student raised his right hand and snapped his fingers. A lightning bolt suddenly struck Tirek on the lower back melting the metal pike away from his body. As the demon fell to the ground he groaned out in pain saying as his body hit the ground beneath him.

“Save me. I will serve you if you but, spare my life queen Amora.”

“Hmph!” Grunted Scitalis as he snapped his fingers again saying as another lightning bolt struck the demon lord. “The fool has no idea that I am not Amora.” Tirek screamed out in pain as the lightning bolt burned his already broken body.

Snapping his eyes open Tirek saw Scitalis transforming into his serpent’s body. Sweet Surgot stepped back a few feet as she watched with sick grin on her face while her master began to move forwards wrapping his coils around Tireks near lifeless body. As Tirek felt his body being crushed by the tightening of Scitialis’s coils he screamed out in pain.

“Why are you attacking Scitalis!?!”

“Where is the book Tirek, tell me and I might let you live deny me and you shall die.”

Tirek screamed as he felt his bones begin to break and snap like twigs while Scitalis continued to squeeze his body Tirek cried out in pain.

“That book shall never be yours! Scitalis.”

“Tell me where the book is Tirek!, Tell me or die!” Scitalis replied as he heard Tirek’s shoulders break from the pressure they were under.

Tirek screamed in more pain as he felt his ribs start to give way from the constant pressure of being pressed down upon by Scitalis powerful grasp. As he ribs each one by one broke from Scitalis wrapping himself around Tireks body Tirek cried out to him while more blood sprayed out of his mouth.

“Alright, I’ll tell you where the book is Scitalis, just let me go and the location of that book is yours.”

Scitalis having completely broken Tirek both mentally and physically laughed coldly as he set the demon lord down on the ground. With his body nearly crushed and most of his internal organs hanging out of the hole that was now his stomach. Tirek coughed out to Scitalis who cocked his head to the right and narrowed his eyes on to Tirek.

"Alright Tirek I let you go. Now talk!"

“The book that you seek is in Amora’s castle. It is in a vault under the castle itself. You will need me to open it only with our combined power can that vault be opened.”

Cooing wickedly as he rewrapped his coils around Tirek’s nearly completely crushed body Scitalis smiled as he said to Tirek while picking him back up off the ground.

“You are right about one thing it will take our combined power to open the vault of the harpy queen. However you shall not be there to see it. Goodbye Tirek.”

“But you said if I talked you would let me live.” Tirek cried in fear.

“I lied Tirek. You are far to dangerous for me to keep you alive. Goodbye Tirek.” Scitialis replied while laughing coldly.

Tirek’s eyes went wide as he felt his body being fully crushed under Scitalis’s mighty coils. As Scitalis held Tirek in his coils squeezing him tightly his eyes fully popped out of his skull. While his head exploded from the internal excessive cephalic pressure caused by Scitalis squeezing him. Bits and pieces of his brain and skull flew up into the air and landed on Sweet Surgot who grinned while she watched Scitalis as he began to swallow Tirek's lifeless body. After finishing his meal and wiping the last of Tirek's blood from his lips Scitalis turned his attention to his pupil saying to her as she stood in front of him with Tirek's brains and skull slowly dripping from her back.

“Now that I have consumed him I will be able to use his power to open the vault doors. Come my little student we have work to do.”

Scitalis’s body began to glow bright white as he absorbed what was left of Tirek's body within his own body. Once his body was done glowing and he returned to his normal velvet hue he nodded to Sweet Surgot who was just whipping off the blood and brains that had fallen on her back. Walking past her he said to her as she finished cleaning herself up.

“I know where to go now my pupil we need to head to the river I will….No actually you will be the one to force Charon to take us to Amora’s castle. Consider this another test to see where your loyalties lie.”

Sweet Surgot finished wiping off the last of Tirek's remains from her body and started to follow Scitials out of the ruins they both were in. Looking back at the city as it slowly disappeared from view while the two of them walked again side by side. Sweet Surgot said to her master as they each walked on a ruined road towards the river.

“Master what was the name of that place were just in?”

“It was the city of the vampires, I believe it was once called Lamia civitatem. But, now it is no longer ruled by the vampires. It is nothing more now than a ruined dilapidated broken memory of a time from long ago.”

“Really? What happened? To the city and its ponies I mean?” Sweet Surgot inquired as she perked up an ear.

Seeing the inquisitive look on her face Scitalis smiled as he laughed coldly saying to her with a scaly hand resting over his chest.

“What does it really matter Sweet Surgot, all within Tartarus will come to the same fate as Lamia Citiatem did. All will end in fire and bloodshed. Now there will be no more talk about this I want you instead to concentrate on forcing Charon to take us to where we need to go.”

“Yes master, I will do as you have asked of me. But tell me why must I kill my sister she never did anything to me? So why must I kill her it doesn’t make sense to me.”

Stopping in his tracks Scitalis looked at his pupil with narrowed eyes fully fixed upon her as she too came to a stop he knelt down in front of her. Saying to her as he placed both of his scaly hands on both the left and right side of her head and his eyes began to glow green then turned red.

“You mean to tell me you do not remember how your sister would beat you? Or how your sister would lock you away at night so she wouldn’t have to hear your mewing and winning. Or how she made it her life's work to embraces you in front of the two you called friends.”

Holding her tightly in his hands Sweet Surgot screamed out in pain as wave upon wave of lies and false memories filled her mind. Twisting her mind and further corrupting her soul into darkness. As Sweetie Belle struggled in his grasp Scitalis thought to himself. When he saw the look of pain and hurt in Sweetie Belle's eyes while he filled her young mind with his lies and many false memories.

“Good she is responding well to my lies and to the false memories I am planting within her mind. One more spell like this on her mind and she will do as I have ordered her to do.”

Sweetie Belle passed out in his scaly hands as Scitalis picked her up and continued to walk down the ruined road leading to the river he laughed coldly. Several hours later Scitalis came to the river and found Charon coming up to a dock that stood not more than twenty feet from him and Sweetie Bell. Putting the young unicorn down he splashed water onto her face waking her up as she came too she moaned out while he looked down at her as she slowly woke up.

“Oooh what...what happened to me?”

Grinning wickedly Scitalis thought to himself as he looked at Sweetie Bell. Who in turn seemed dazed and confused as she started to look around her at her new surroundings.

“Good now that she is confused all I have to do is tell her a few lies and she should remain under my spell. Hopefully she will remain under spell long enough for me to get the book that I came here for.”

Sweet Surgot looked up into her master's eyes as she said to him while slowly standing up and shaking herself to try to relieve herself of her confusion.

“Master the last thing I remember was…..”

“Telling me how your sister beat you as a little foul and how she tied you to a tree during a storm in the hopes of killing you. You also told me how she never tucked you in at night and how she never spent any time with you.” Scitalis interrupted Sweet Surgot as she started to cry.

Seeing that his lies had worked he knelt down in front of her then took the little unicorn into his arms and held her on his shoulder while she cried herself dry. Once she was done crying she said to him as she sniffed hard then grew angry growling out to him as her horn started to glow red as the hate in her soul began to boil over.

“Master tell me how to kill my sister so that I might seek vengeance upon her and all of Equestria for how I was treated.”

“Good my little student” Scitalis said as he nodded towards Charon's boat. “Your first task if you want vengeance is to force Charon off his boat. On it he is too powerful but, off it he will become weak as a kitten.”

Sweet Surgot wasted little time in turning to face Charon who was looking right at her with a sick smile plastered on her little face Sweet Surgot charge at him. Taken back by her sudden charge Charon tried to duck out of the way as Sweet Surgot leapt into the air as her body hit him she knocked him into the floor of his boat. Landing in the river with a loud splash Scitalis laughed as he watched Charon get up and swing his oar at her missing Sweet Surgot by four feet. Leaping at him again Sweet Surgot landed another blow this time knocking him over the side of his boat. Placing his oar into the steering hole of his boat and using it a balancing pole Charon was able to keep himself from falling to the ground. As he righted himself Sweet Surgot used her magic to break Charon's oar in two causing him to fall and hit the right side of his boat. Sweet Surgot saw the shocked look on Charon’s face as he looked from her then to his broken oar that he was holding in his hands. As he got up to say something to him she blasted him in the face with her magic ending the fight and fully knocking Charon to the ground. No sooner did his body touch the ground did Charon scream out as all of his magic left his body leaving him as helpless as a new born baby.

“What have you done to me?” He screamed out in rage.

“Nothing much just took away your magic for a little bit. I need you to comply with my orders and no before you go off saying that I must pay you for passage across the river. Remember this, this is the same pony the beat you the first time when first came here asking you to show us where Tirek was.”

“What do you mean ‘was’....Tirek is immortal he can’t grow old and he can not die.” Charon spat back with anger as his body began to wither away to dust.

"Tirek is dead my master killed him and unless you want the same do as we have come to tell you to do." Sweet Surgot chimed in with lust in her voice as she licked her lips wickedly in front of Charon.

Looking from Charon then to his student and back again Scitalis said to the demon as he started to fade away to dust.

“You don’t have much longer Charon what will it be? Take us across without payment or lose your life...tick tock, tick tock Charon you are running out of time. Make your choice and make it now!” Scitalis shot back with anger in his voice.

“Alright I will take you wherever you want to go get me back aboard my skiff before I turn to dust.” Charon replied with pain showing in his voice.

Looking to his student then to Charon, Scitials raised his right hand snapping his fingers. Sweet Surgot immediately used her magic lifting the Elohite demon back up off the ground and setting him down onto his boat. Once he was safely back aboard his boat he snapped his fingers as his oar put itself back together. Pushing off the dock as Scitalis got into the skiff he said to Scitalis as he moved the small boat out into the river styx.

“Where do you want me to take the two of you?”

“Take us to Amora’s castle and do not play games with us. Do not try to use your death stare on my student for if you attempt it I will be the one you must contend with. I am not as…...forgiving as my little student is. Now I must transfer more of my magic into her so she will be ready to face the ones that have come after her.”

Sweet Surgot stood on the bow of the skiff as her master came up behind her placing both hands on her left and right sides of her body. She closed her eyes and laying her head onto his right wrist as her body began to swell with his power flowing into her. As her body took in his dark magic Sweet Surgot gently moaned out to him.

“Master that feels good.”

“What you are feeling my little young student is the power of pure evil. It will flow in you until you have completed your task. Which is no less than for you to keep Twilight from from interfering with my plans. You needn’t actually fight her just keep her here while I set up a little surprise for her.”

Sweet Surgot soon fell asleep with Scitalis smiling wickedly at her. As he watched the river bend and twist to the right then to left while Charon navigated the skiff down the river styx he thought of his daughters and of how they died without him there to watch over and protect them. Charon pulled the skiff up to the same dock that he had dropped Twilight and Rainbow dash off earlier as the two disembarked from his boat Charon said to both of them.

“Sweetie Bell, when you are ready to be cleansed of your hate for you sister, Twilight will be able to help you.” Turning his attention to Scitalis Charon said to him with a wicked and murderous glare in his eyes. “Scitalis when you are dead and lying before Amora’s sword I will sing of your defeat at the hands of the demon queen.”

Scitalis growing angry with Charon for insulting him stuck out his hand as his hand glowed bright red he struck Charon with an energy bolt. Sweet Surgot not wanting to be left out of hurting Charon used her own magic on him. As her own energy hit him in the chest she lifted him up and out of his skiff completely tossing him several feet onto dry land and laughed while she watched him turn to dust. Looking back at her master she smiled him as she said to him while he looked down at her with a raised eyebrow.

“That was fun, who else can I kill today.”

Sunset poked her head out of the blankets of her bed as she heard the alarm clock on her dresser going off. Pinkie laid underneath her as they both had fallen asleep together as the alarm blared out it’s annoying beeping Sunset laid her head back down onto Pinkie's chest. Pinkie patted her on the back of the head saying to her as she Sunset groaned in annoyance.

“Come on honey we need to get up to take a shower and to get ready for Rainbow and Rarity. They will be here in about an hour give or take if Rainbow isn’t the one driving that is.”

“Do we have too, Pinkie?” Sunset playfully whimpered. “I would so much rather stay here with you under the covers in bed than have to get up and get dressed again.”

Pinkie grinned at the notion of staying in bed with Sunset yet, taking a quick glance at the clock on the dresser which read 2:30pm she sighed as she said to Sunset softly.

“Let me up honey, I need to use the bathroom and you and I do need to get up now.”

Letting out a sigh Sunset made a half pouty face as she got up out of bed then walked over to the alarm clock that, was still bleeping out it’s annoying sound. Picking up the clock Sunset rotated it upside down until she saw the battery port to it. Flicking the port open she took out the battery and set it back down saying as she let out another sigh.

“Ah peace and quiet, thank Luna’s mane it is quite in here now.”

Sunset turned to face her bedroom door While Pinkie slid her body off the bed landing on all fours on the bedroom floor. Turning around Sunset let out a childs like giggle when she saw Pinkie on the bedroom floor looking more like a playful dog than her actual girlfriend. Turning back to the door she reached out for the handle of it to open the door when she heard a loud ‘bang’ coming from the downstairs area. Sunset closed her eyes then let out a soft sigh as she thought to herself.

“It is nothing to worry about just the door down stairs nothing at all. That noise neighbor isn’t trying to get into our house again. Calm down Sunset, calm down.”

As Sunset turned the doorknob to open her bedroom door with Pinkie standing naked behind her they both heard the front door open then slam shut. Rose Cherries voice could be heard coming from the downstairs area of the house as Sunset and Pinkie both looked at each other.

“Sunset, Pinkie I’m home. I have some company with me that would like to talk with you.”

Rose turned to Celestia and Red as she said to them both after calling out to Sunset and getting no reply from her.

“If you two will enter the living room please? I will be back down in just a second I need to go see if those two are still here.”

“Of course Rose we will wait for you. Besides we also want to chat with you about what you said to us during our run today.” Celestia replied kindly to Rose.

“Yes I think hearing that the end of all creation and existence is indeed something that government needs to be made aware of. Yet I will hold off until Sunset has had a chance to tell us what is going on.”

Rose headed upstairs found Sunset as Sunset poked her head out of her bedroom door Rose came around the corner. Sunset looked at her mother with a questionable look on her face as Rose said to her gently.

“Sunset honey, you really should be getting ready Rainbow and Rarity will be here in less than two hours.”

“Uh who is down stairs, you called out to us saying that you have company here so uh, who is down stairs?” Sunset replied as she looked at her Rose with a raised eyebrow.

“Oh, just Celestia and Red whom by the way they would like to talk with you, that is if that is OK with you honey. Now why don’t you go hop into the shower with Pinkie and I will entertain them until you get out just don’t take to, long honey.” Rose replied with a wink causing Sunset to blush.

Turning around Rose headed back down stairs as Sunset and Pinkie both headed into the bathroom to take their afternoon shower together. After closing the door of the bathroom Sunset said to Pinkie who wrapped her arms around Sunset’s still mostly swollen belly pulling her into her and lightly kissing her on the neck.

“I hope you don’t mind Celestia and Red being here today honey. I guess they have something they want to talk with us about. Although I am not sure what it is though but, let's get ourselves ready then we can see what they want to chat about.”

“No of course not it is always good to see those two.”

“Ok let's take our shower then get dressed and go find out what those two want.”

A half hour later Pinkie and Sunset climbed out of the shower each drying the other off and wrapping towels around the other. As they both walked out of the bathroom Rose called up to them.

“Pinkie, Sunset, would you two like some tea or coffee while we meet with Celestia and Red?”

Sunset called back down to Rose as they each got started to get dressed.

“Yeah that sounds lovely mother and thank you.”

Pinkie stopped getting dressed for a minuted when Sunset turned her back to her as she saw four small bumps protruding from the top and lower parts of her shoulder blades. Reaching out she laid her hand on Sunsets left shoulder blade right where the first bump was. It felt boney and hard as she pressed into it Sunset closed her eyes saying while Pinkie slowly traced the bump with her fingers.

“I was so hoping you wouldn’t find those.”

“What are they from honey?” Pinkie replied removing her hand from Sunsets shoulder and turning her girlfriend around so their eyes locked on each other.

Sunset tried to look away but, stopped when Pinkie laid her hand onto the right side of her cheek saying to her softly.

“Don’t do this honey, don’t shut me out if you're hurting I want to know so that I can help you.”

Looking back at Pinkie Sunset closed her eyes as she said to her while taking a hold her by the waist and hugging her tightly in her arms.

“You can’t help me Pinkie, not this time. I am not hurting honey but, you can’t be apart of what is going to happen.”

“I don’t understand Sunny what is going to happen and why do you have those bumps on your back. What are they? They felt like…..like bone, almost as if they are what is left of your wings wings when you went all she-demon on us at the Fall Formal.”

“I don’t want to talk about it right now honey, please just drop it. I want to go down see what Celestia and Red want then try to enjoy the rest of our day together with Rainbow and Rarity.”

“Honey I….”

“ENOUGH!” Sunset snapped out angrily.

Seeing the hurt look in Pinkie's eyes Sunset looked away from her as she grabbed her shirt that was lying her on her bed. Slipping it on she headed for the bedroom door stopping in the threshold of the door to look over her left shoulder at Pinkie. Pinkie remained where she was she had a blank almost non existent look on her face. As she blinked a few times letting Sunset’s harsh word settle into her brain as she heard Sunset say to her while watching her walk out of the bedroom.

“I am sorry I snapped at you like that, but this time you must for our relationship do as I ask and stay out of this.”

Sunset disappeared from sight as she headed down stairs leaving Pinkie to finish getting dressed alone. Once Pinkie came back to her senses she grabbed her pants that were also sitting on Sunsets bed slipped them on and headed down stairs as well. As she got into the living room she found Sunset sitting on a chair with her arms folded under her chest and a angry look plastered on her face. Pinkie took a spot on the couch next to Celestia and Red. As she sat down on the couch Red said to Rose Cherry who was just coming into the living room with a tray full of tea cups and a tea kettle in her hands.

“So what we wanted to talk to your daughter about is we are that is Tia and I are wondering Rose would you be opposed to us asking Sunset a certain question?”

Rose looked from Sunset who still had a angry look on her face and her arms folded under her chest then back to Red as she said to her.

“Depends on the question I guess.”

“Ok, Sunset Tia and I are wondering if you would take it upon yourself to become the godmother to our child.”

Before Sunset could answer Rose set the tea ketle down and took Red gently by her arm leading her to the front door. Opening the door she and Red stepped outside leaving Pinkie, a very confused Sunset and Celestia all in the living room together. Shutting the door Rose said to Red in a half confused voice.

“I thought you wanted to know what I meant by the end of all existence and creation Red. And what’s with this asking my daughter to be the godmother to your child?”

Red blushed as she took Rose by the hand and placed it over her stomach saying to her with a happy smile on her face.

“We found out today that I am with child, You see even though it has only been a few days since Sunset got back from Equestria. Tia and I have been secretly dating for much longer than that. And well we both wanted to have children brought into our relationship. Yet because we are both fully grown women we don’t have the means to produce a child naturally. So we went to a lab and had it done there. Tia can’t have children of her own so I will be carrying the child to full term. I never meant in any way to bring offense to you or too Sunset by asking this of her Rose.”

Rose smiled happily to Red as she said to her with a wide grin on her face.

“I am sure Sunset will be more than willing to say yes, but you need to include Pinkie in this as well. Other wise I know my daughter will say ‘no’ to you both.”

Red looked down at Rose’s hand still on her stomach as she said to her while Rose removed her hand and was about to head back inside the house.

“You're absolutely right Rose I should have also asked Pinkie as well. I will do that once we get back inside.”

Opening the front door Red and Rose found Sunset, Pinkie and Celestia all in the foyer hugging each other as she heard both Pinkie and Sunset say in unison.

“Yes of course we will be the godmothers to your child.”

Looking to Red, Rose Cherry smirked as she said to her friend who stood next to her with a bewildered look on her face.

“Well I take it there is no need to ask Pinkie any more because Red my dear friend it looks like you have your answer. They both want to do this for you and I and I for one can’t think of two more beautiful or gracus godmothers to your child or children for that matter as my two beautiful daughters.”

“There is however one condition to this you two.” Celestia chimed in as she ended the warm embrace she got from both Pinkie and Sunset.

“Name it Principal Celestia.” Sunset said with a wide happy smile on her face.

“You two don’t tell any and I do mean ANY of your friends about this just yet. You see Red and I want to tell them at a special dinner we would like to invite you two too. One that will be held at my home in three days that is if that is alright with you two that is.”

“That sounds like a wonderful idea, I will make every effort to keep Pinkie here from spilling the hay and flowers on this Celestia.” Sunset replied.

Rose laughed lightly to herself as Pinkie crossed her arms under her chest and puffed out her cheeks in annoyance to Sunset.

“Hey I can keep a secret just as well as you can Sunny.”

Just as Rose was about to chime into the conversation a loud ‘HONK’ was heard from outside and lots of swearing and cursing could also be heard. Sunset face palmed herself as Pinkie rolled her eyes and shook her head saying just as a soft knock came to the front door.

“Sounds like Rainbow was driving again.”

“When is Rarity going to learn NOT to let Rainbow drive. I know those two are starting to date each other and while I am so very happy for them I think Rainbow needs to cool it with the driving and the swearing too.” Red said as she opened the front door to greet Rarity.

Rarity looked at Red with a confused look on her face as both Sunset and Pinkie moved into the living room out of her line of sight. As Rarity stood there in the doorway Red glared at her saying to her sternly.

“Yes may I help you young lady?”

“Darling I am sorry to bother you, but I was under the impression that a Sunset Shimmer and Pinkamena Dian Pie lived here with a Rose Cherry. I think I might have the wrong address I will leave you be again I am sorry to have bothered you.”

As Rarity turned to leave Red reached out grabbed onto her and picked her up off the ground turning around she set Rarity down in the foyer shutting the door with her foot. Rarity shot Red a look of both anger and shock as Sunset and Pinkie could be heard laughing in the living room. Looking at Red then over towards the living room Rarity exclaimed as she threw up her arms and waved them about wildly.

“You two are going to give me a heart attack one of these days. I mean really to make me think I had the wrong address and then to hide on me is MOST unlady like of both of you two. Now come on we have a nice dinner to go to and I really don’t want to leave Rainbow alone in my car for too long. Last time I did that she changed all my music stations and reset the clock in the……..”

BEEEEP.

“Car.” Rarity finished saying as she placed a hand over the bridge of her nose and shook her head.

Grabbing the door handle in her right hand and tearing the door open she stomped off outside to her car. Fully leaving Sunset and Pinkie holding themselves while they both laughed themselves to near crying. Looking at Pinkie as she wiped a tear from her eyes Sunset said to her while wiping away her own happy tears.

“Come on Pinkie we better get out there before those two wind up tearing each other apart.”

Pinkie grinned as she and Sunset both headed outside. A few minutes later after Rarity had calmed down and Rainbow and her switched seats Rarity pulled out of the drive way and the small group was seen heading down the street toward their dinner. Leaving Red and Celestia in Rose Cherries living room saying to Rose as Red sat back down on the couch.

“Now that those two are gone we can talk about what you said to us earlier today on our morning run.”

Rose sighed then walked over to the living room window looked out of it and said to Red and Celestia who was like Red sitting down on the couch.

“Sunset has been having nightmares of her….sister Sunrise. Scitails is coming with him he will bring a book that has the power to end this world, Equestria and Tartarus all at the same time. Portals leading to each world will open and act as what you call black holes fully destroying everything in their path. The only way to save this world, Tartarus and Equestria is to either……. kill…..the one that cast that spell. Or….to let that one banish either herself or himself to the nether realm for ever. Sunrise is able to read the words of that book but it is her sister my daughter that can actually coherently speak them. It is not enough the be able to just read them you have to actually speak them aloud and fully understand them as well.”

Red and Celestia both glanced at each other as they each got up from the couch Red said to Rose as she walked over to her laying a gentle hand on her shoulder.

“We will find a way to help Sunset through this Rose. I promise you this.”

Chapter Nine

Consequences 2: The choice:

Chapter Nine.

Amora seeing that Sunrise was done Twitching and her eyes had stopped glowing gently laid her back into her bed then brushed a lock of hair out her eyes. As Amora got off the bed she heard Sunrise say to her while she stood next to it looking towards her bedroom door.

“I remember what caused me to attack Sunset, Amora what have I done to her? What have I done to myself?”

“Sunrise I was not there that day that you attacked Sunset. All I have is the information that Sunset gave me when I asked her about it.” Amora replied trying to keep her guest calm.

“Wait….Sunset talked to you about what I did?”

“Yes but, not right away, I think losing you pushed her over the edge. She told me that you two did almost everything together. That you were inseparable and that she loved you very much. The day that you attacked her broke her heart. So please tell me what happen? Was it that venenatus villainous swag ventriosum Skains hircum, alterum a proditor! Or was it someone else someone that I have not heard of yet.” Amora repled balling her right hand into a tight fist.

Sunrise seeing the hurt and angry look in Amoras face got off the bed stood next to her and laid a gentle hand onto her shoulder. Sunrise as she slowly turned Amora towards her. She looked into Amora’s eyes as there eyes locked with each others and saw that Amora was crying. As the tears fell down her cheeks Sunrise said to her softly while pulling her into a tight embrace.

“Amora my, queen what is it that has caused you to hate that traitor so much that you would insult his very being and insult his lineage?”

Amora trembled slightly as she recalled what Scitalis took from her. The pain she felt in her blackened heart was so real that it felt as if it was alive and in her arms that very moment. Looking deeply into Sunrise’s eyes Amora turned away from her as she said to her while placing Sunrise’s right hand onto her stomach right above her womb.

“He took this from me before he killed my mother and my father.”

Looking at her Sunrise said to her while she removed her hand from Amora’s stomach as too started to turn away from her.

“It wasn’t that traitor that drove me into madness Amora.”

Amora hearing this turned back to Sunrise just as a soft knock was heard at her door saying to her as another knock was heard followed by a third knock.

“So if it wasn’t that traitor that drove you to madness and caused you to attack your sister resulting in you getting killed what was it then?”

Amora walked over to her bedchamber door and was about to open it when Sunrise’s words to her stopped her in her tracks.

“It was Arz’ur^don but, to you, you would call him….”

“Ose seducit mentem….Ose….the deceiver of the mind.” Amora finished Sunrise’s sentence as a fourth knock was heard at her bedchamber door.

As Amora turned away from Sunrise to open her bedchamber door Sunrise looked down at her back and saw a small dagger just underneath her belt. Opening the door Amora saw the same guard that had taken Twilight to the castle front gates standing before her. Looking at her then past her right shoulder to Sunrise he said with a slight grin on his face. While he saluted her by placing his right hand across his chest and over his shoulder and slightly bowing to her.

“Amora, my queen. Twilight and Rainbow Dash have been seen flying towards the west and are headed right for the, munimenta insaniam.”

Looking back at Sunrise Amora said to her as she sighed then stepped from the doorway to allow Sunrise to pass her.

“It is up to you Sunrise if you chose to help Twilight, the lapidem memoriae will ONLY work one more time before the stone shatters. If Twilight uses the other one that is located within the fortress of insanity she will be unable to save both Applejack and Sunset.”

Sunrise sighed then turned to the window of Amora’s bed chamber saying to her sternly while she looked out the window of Amora’s bedchamber. Causing Amora to shut the door and stair at her with both confusion and bewilderment in her eyes.

“Afferte mihi gladium tuum,”

“What did you just say Sunrise?” Amora replied in shock.

“Give me your demonic dagger then leave me here!”

Amora seeing the look of pure hate in Sunrise’s eyes closed her own eyes as she reached behind her and took out her dagger then said to Sunrise as she held it up to her.

“Are you sure about this Sunrise?”

“Equestrian I am no longer, give me the dagger.” Sunrise growled back in anger.

Amore sighed then handed over the dagger and reopened the door of her bedchamber. Amora walked out of her bedchamber and looked at the guard who was still standing in the hallway with a puzzled look on his face as she said to him sternly.

“I take it you are the one that told Twilight where to go?”

Hearing this he immediately came to attention and saluted his queen saying to Amora as he bowed his head to her.

“Yes my, queen I am the one that told her in what direction to go in. I have however not told her what lies ahead of her, nor did I tell her whom she will meet there. This is something that is up to Sunrise to deal with. Now please tell me what is my punishment for this action my queen?”

Amora closed her eyes as a loud scream was heard coming from behind the door of her bedchamber. The guard looked from her then to door of her bedchamber as he stepped forward to open the door he stopped in his tracks when Amora stepped in front of him. She placed her right hand upon his armors breastplate just as another loud scream came from behind the door of her bedchamber saying to him with tears in her eyes.

“Your punishment…..there is none for you in this case. Your task however is to heal the one that is behind this door and not to say anything to her about this…..action that she has taken upon herself. Go and get healing balms from the kitchen and return here with them. Heal her then after this is done come to room that holds my mother's portrait. Now go!”

The guard looked from Amora then to the bedchamber door as blood was seen coming through the crack underneath the door. As he watched this he said to Amora who lowered her head and balled her right hand into a tight fist as yet another loud scream was heard coming from behind the bedchamber doorway.

“Very well my queen, I understand that I am not to be punished for this. Your orders shall be done as you have ordered my queen.”

As the guard turned to leave the hallway leading to Amora’s bedchamber a loud clanging sound was heard coming from behind the bedchamber door. As well as a soft scraping of metal being dragged on the bedchamber floor. As Amora looked down at the crack of the door that was just above the floor of her bedchamber. She saw blood flowing out from underneath the doorway. She thought to herself as she watched the blood flow under the doorway and coagulate turning a deep dark red.

“Osy you swine, of a tit sucking mules ass of a goat what did you do to her? You bastard ass cumsucking mewing clotfested scum, I hope Twilight breaks you for this.”

Amora not able to take any more of the sounds coming from her bedchamber closed her eyes and turned away from the doorway. As Amora proceeded to walk away just as one final scream could be heard coming from behind her bedchamber she saw several Brak’lu guards coming down the opposite end of the hallway. She said to herself as she passed five of six guards before stopping in front of the last guard while each in turn saluted her as she passed by them.

“Ose you’ll pay for what you did to her you daemon spuria mewling goated swine!”

Looking at the guard she had stopped in front of she said to him sternly as he stood in front of her saluting her.

“Do not enter my bedchamber until Medicus returns with healing balms and bandages. Do you understand?”

“Yes your majesty we the brak’lu fully understand your orders it shall be done as you have thus requested of us.” The guard replied.

The guards all nodded to her then headed towards Amora’s bedchamber door each one taking a position so that there was a guard at either side of the doorway. Walking through the throne room Amora saw Medicus coming back with several hand fulls of healing balms in his hands as he walked past her she said to him.

“Remember Medicus you are to heal her nothing more do you understand this?”

“I do my, queen.”

Amora seeing that Medicus fully understood her orders headed into the chamber that held her mother's portrait. Medicus headed into the hallway of Amora’s bedchamber and entered the bedchamber where he saw Sunrise lying on the floor of the bedchamber. Her left thigh was fully cut almost to the bone and a large section of flesh was sitting on floor in front of him. Looking at the piece of Flesh on the floor of the bedchamber Medicus saw that on it was a sun cutie mark. Medicus could see that the sun cutie mark had on the left side was red flames. On the right was yellow flames in the center on the left side was a yellow yin symbol and the right had a red yang symbol. Sighing to himself he carefully set down the healing balms onto Amora’s dresser next to a candle that was standing near the left end of the dresser. Bending down to Sunrise who was lying face down on the floor with her back facing him Medicus gently placed both hands around her midsection. Medicus gently moved Sunrise over to Amora’s bed placed her upon the bed then turned towards the dresser retrieving the healing balms. Medicus also picked up the candle on Amora’s dresser turning back to Sunrise who was looking at him with half dead eyes he said to her softly.

“This is going to hurt Sunrise I am sorry but, there is no other way to heal your wound.”

Sunrise half nodded to him then took the dagger still in her hand placed the blades handle into her mouth and bit down hard on it. Medicus seeing that she was clearly ready to be healed turned her over to her side then placed several large amounts of black oily salves onto her wound. Once the wound was completely covered he used his own magic to light the candle and pressed lit candles flame to her wound causing Sunrise to scream out in pain as the salves burned into her flesh. As her body took in the magic of the salves burning into her body her eyes glowed brightly and her body turned white for but the briefest of seconds. A silver halo flashed over her head as she almost passed out from the pain of her flesh burning. Seeing that his work was done he nodded to her then helped her up saying to her as he held her in his arms.

“Are you going to help Applejack or are you going to stand here in my arms and do nothing?”

Sunrise looked towards the door of the bedchamber then said to Medicus as he continued to hold her in his powerfully large arms.

“Take me to the front gate of the castle Medicus.”

“I am glad to see you have chosen to help Sunrise, But tell me before I teleport you there. Was it really necessary to cut your cutie mark off like that.”

Looking down at what was left of the flesh of her leg that once held her cutie mark on it Sunrise grinned happily to herself. As she looked back up into Medicus’s eyes Sunrise smirked as she said to him causing him to look askance towards her.

“Not really but, it felt…..good.”

“You're insane Sunrise!” Medicus replied as he held up his right hand and snapped his fingers.

Pushing off of him and looking at Medicus she said to him as she took a running start.

“Insanity is the only thing that will help Twilight now. I did what I did to prove to myself that I have what it takes to face Ose the demon bringer of madness Medicus. Twilight is facing one that is so powerful he can twist her mind into broken glass in a matter of seconds. Yet because my mind is already broken as is clear with what I was willing to do to myself he will fail and I will drink the blood from his corpse for what he did to me.”

Sunrise began to run forward as Medicus watched her stumble a few times while she ran forward he closed his eyes and used his magic on her one last time. As her body grew stronger and she was no longer stumbling due to her wound she screeched out and unfurled her wings taking off from the castle grounds headed towards the west of the castle. Flying high into the skies of Tartarus Sunrise smiled as she said to herself while flying toward the, munimenta insaniam. Returning inside the castle Medicus before heading towards the throne room to reunite with his queen headed instead to his own bedchamber. Getting to his chamber medicus walked up to his stone bed moved the bed itself out of his way. Then took out a wooden box and opened it and looked inside the box. As he took out the item inside of it he said softly to himself.

“Bernael king of the demons please forgive me for going against your wishes but, your daughter shall not long survive the coming battle without this weapon.”

Medicus closed the box then left his chamber headed for the room that Amora was in. When he got to the room and entered it he saw Amora kneeling in front of her mother's portrait. Watching her as she knelt before the portrait he could see she was holding her sword with the blade pointed down towards the floor of the room. As she knelt in front of the portrait Medicus heard her say while she cried.

“Mother I don’t know what to do I love her mother. I love her so much yet I am afraid that I will fail again as I failed to save my unborn child as I failed as well to save you mother. Please mother if you are out there somewhere please send me a sign that I will not fail again. I must face our enemy again mother and I find that I am scared. I don’t want to face him alone yet I know I must. I just don’t know what to do mother I am so lost without your guidance. I love her so very much mother I don’t know what I will do if I fail her like I failed you. Please send me a sign anything mother to let me know that I will not fail again. I beg you mother if you can hear me please I must know that I will not fail again.”

Medicus cleared his throat and Amora slowly stood up from her kneeling position. As he walked up to her he took out the item that he had taken from his bedchamber saying to her softly while holding it out to her.

“If you plan on facing that traitor then you will need this.”
