The Continuous Experiments of Twilight Sparkle

"This cake is delicious!"

"Glad you like it."

Twilight Sparkle had invited Kiara Star, Diamond Blade, and Purple Fedora to a nice tea party in an attempt to get close to them. Twilight always loved to make new friends, especially the three new Elements of Harmony.

"Hey Twi?"

"Yes, Blade?"

"We need help finding another Element, do you know somepony that represents Laughter or Honesty?"

"Not that I know of."

Diamond sighed as he took a bite of his dinner roll.

"Actually..." Kiara piped in. "The pony I could think of for Honesty is Zecora, but I couldn't get her to open her door about a year ago."

"Maybe she's getting too attached to the Everfree Forest? Let's just leave her alone." Twilight said without a blink.

Finally, Purple Fedora stood and looked at Twilight with a suspicious glare.

"Twi, ever since your friends went missing a year ago, you've been a lot more calmer than you usually do. Is something up?"

Twilight thought of an excuse very quickly.

"No, I hide my sadness for them and keep my head held high. My emotions shall never get the best of me."

"You're saying that like you don't even miss them!" Kiara snapped, also glaring.

Twilight then was forced to shed fake tears to keep them from uttering anymore suspicions.

"Oh shit! I'm so sorry, Twi! I d-didn't mean to make you cry!" Kiara exclaimed.

"Kiara! Why the hell would you even say that!?" Diamond snapped.

"It's alright..." Twilight said, stopping the tears.

Kiara then sunk low in her chair while Spike brought over a tray of more yummy cake.

"One thing Pinkie taught me is that a sweet makes everypony happy!" Twilight smiled, levitating a cake with her magic.

The four friends then enjoyed the rest of the party without another mention of the current events.

"We better get going. It's a little late." Diamond said.

"You're right. Let's go." Fedora said.

"Wait, before you go, could I ask you a favor?" Twilight asked, trotting in front of the door.

"We'll do anything for you. What is it?"

"I'd like you three to help me with some experiments."
