The storm is coming

Twilight didn't know what had happened. One minute her brother and the stranger looked at each other, the next second they were in a heated battle.

While she wanted to separate the two of them and tell them to knock it off, she had noticed that Shining was the one that was taking the most hits. She had seen Shining take on the most elite guards when he was just a cadet but this is something else.

Shining landed a few punches, but they were not effective in the slightest. Deciding to change his tactics, Shining conjured a shield, using it to block his punches while continuing to move back with each pounding the shield took.

A few guards arrived at the scene and were greeted with their former captain being pinned against a palace wall. The guards hurried to their captain’s aid, but the stranger took hold of Armors shield and yanked it off Shinings hand before throwing it towards the guards. As the shield slowly started deconstructing, it bounced on one of the guards head, knocking him out and doing the same with the other four before the shield vanished.

What Twilight saw next made her eyes grow in fear. The stranger pulled out a knife from his boot before placing it near Shinings neck.

“Stop it!” She shouted and she was surprised at what occurred next. The stranger dropped his knife and let go of her older brother before standing straight with an expressionless look.

Twilight ran towards her brother as the latter weakly stood up and picked up the knife. He was about to strike but Twilight grabbed his wrist before taking the blade.

“Twilight! This thing is dangerous! If it can escape the cell up in the tower it has to be dealt wi-”

*Smack*

He is not a thing and in his defense, you started it by imprisoning him in the dungeons.” Twilight said with anger dripping through her tone. Shining couldn't believe what was happening, just hours ago he had rescued Twilight from a hairless monster and brought her to hospital before putting the creature in the dungeon; but yet Twilight stood there, defending it to the point of being slapped across the face.

“Why are you defending him!?” Shining yelled, pointing at the man behind his sister. The man didn't move an inch from where he stood, still expressionless.

“Because he's the one that helped me when I was still imprisoned by Diamond Dogs!” His sister retorted with a glare before turning to look at the man. Her brother stared in shock at what she had said before he saw the guards on the floor stand up.

They noticed the man before walking over to him and holding him down on the floor, he still bore his expressionless face.

“Let him go.” Armor said after a minute of thinking. The guards looked at him and did as he ordered before getting off of the man. Twilight knelt down to help him up but saw that he hadn't moved still.

“Are you okay?” She asked him. He slowly turned his head towards her.

“Ya gotov otvechat'. (Ready to comply.)” He said. Twilight was confused, not too long ago he spoke in Equish now he's back to whatever language that is. She then started shaking him.

“Please answer me.” She said to him. He closed his eyes before opening them again.

As I regained consciousness, I could feel someone shaking me a lot. Opening my eyes, I saw the worried loom of Twilight. Placing my hands on the ground, I pushed myself back up before placing a hand my head.

“Are you okay?” I heard her voice and I nodded before looking around. Twilight wore the same rags I found her in, it was still snowing and she had left without the coat.

“I'm fine.” I answered and as I did, I noticed her shivering again. Standing up, I picked her up, knowing she won't be able to walk in the cold.

I saw her brother a few feet away from me and saw him shivering as well before spotting me. He glared at me and I did nothing but take Twilight inside the large palace before the storm kicked in.

As soon as Twilight's brother closed the door, he turned to look at his sister. He walked up to me before checking Twilight.

“What's wrong with her? She isn't like this around snow.” He asked me. I shrugged at him before setting her down. Twilight placed an arm on my shoulder for leverage as she tried to move her legs.

“I don't know.” I answered the man's question.

“But we do.” I turned towards the voice, seeing a much taller woman. She was like Twilight a pair of wings and horn on her forehead. The only way I could describe her height was that of an Amazon. Her fur was white, and her hair was a variation of three colors that waved in the nonexistent air. Next to the tall Amazon was a slightly smaller, and significantly darker one. Like her partner, she had both a pair of wings and a large horn. How I could tell if they were women, it's pretty obvious if you ask me. Besides the obvious feminine features present in most mammals, they both wore long and elegant dresses that matched their furs.

The man next to me bowed at them before turning to me with a glare that practically yelled Do as I do. Rolling my eyes, I looked at the two women standing a few feet away.

“And the reason is?” I asked them. The white one walked over to me before placing a hand on Twilight's cheek. She then pulled her hand away with a sigh.

“She hasn't adjusted with the change yet, which makes her body weaker to extreme cold, especially if in this peculiar weather. But beyond that, what confuses me the most of this situation, is you.” She said as she looked at me straight in the eyes.

“If what Shining Armor said was correct that you were walking in the middle of a blizzard unaffected by the cold, you have no magic in you yet you could resist the frozen weather outside like if it was your everyday routine.” She said to me with curious eyes.

“I was trained to withstand the harsh elements and the cold never bothered me anyways.” I told her before turning to look at the struggling Twilight. I then turned back to the Amazon woman.

“Who are you?” I asked out of the blue. She looked at me as if I was mental.

“You don't know who I am? The Princess of The sun and Co-Ruler of Equestria.” She said and with a shake of my head, she thought of a solution to why I didn't know her. As she thought, I had realized what she had said.

“Hold on a minute..Equestria?” I asked her and with a nod from the woman, I groaned.

“Blyat'.(Fuck.)” I cursed before looking at the monarch in front of me.

“Well your highness, it seems that I've gotten into a bit of trouble.” I said out loud before walking towards the wall behind Twilight and began to smack my head against it.

Twilight was weak, that much could be said about her current situation but she was relieved to hear that it was just her adjustment to Alirconhood. Looking at her former mentor, Twilight saw the look of worry on Celestia and followed her gaze.

Twilight's eyes landed on her rescuer repeatedly hitting his head against the wall while speaking in whatever language he spoke in.

“Princess-”

“Twilight, there is no need for you to call me princess anymore, you're an Alicorn now and that makes us equal in status.” Celestia said cutting off her former student.

“Sorry, old habits die hard.” Twilight apologized before remembering what she wanted to say.

“Celestia, this weather is a strange phenomenon, it's June, the sun is supposed to be out not covered by an endless sea of clouds.” Twilight said to her fellow princess while Luna kept staring at the human.

“I know, Twilight and I have Equestrias finest Meteorologist researching the cause of the storm.” Celestia informed her but it wasn't enough, Twilight was still worried that the storm could cause damage across the country.

“Sir, I'm sure there is a better way to vent out your frustration.” Twilight could managed to hear Luna’s voice behind her followed by the banging of the wall.

After a full ten minutes, I finally stopped banging my head and looked at the dark.colored woman. She looked at me with worry before I grunted and turned around, I still needed my bag and with that in mind, I walked out the front door, ignoring the woman’s call and into the storm.

As soon as I gotten my bearings through the storm, I started climbing up towards the hole I made. I stopped half way to catch my breath, climbing is exhausting but effective in keeping me ready.

After a few minutes, I've finally arrived and found the cell I was located in before seeing a small locker with the label confiscated items. Breaking the cell door open and walking up to the locker, I raised my fist before reeling it back then thrusting my fist through the metal locker door, scratching the skin of my hand to the point of bleeding before ripping the door off and seeing my bag labeled Ben.

Taking the bag, I turned back around and started heading towards the hole again before jumping off, landing on a nearby roof before I jumped off again and landed in the courtyard.

Looked at the large door then at the gate behind me. Turning around I headed towards the gate.

I've helped enough and I want to try to find my way back ho-’ I had stopped that thought before realizing something slightly funny, I have no home.

‘Well now, this changes my plans some - but it is not unwelcome.’ With a smirk, I shook my head and headed east towards the side of the mountain.
