Never mess with a Warrior

“Herr Major. Alles ist vorbereitet und bereit für Ihre Bestellung.” The man beside me informed me. I looked towards the man with a cold stare. I sat in a lonely bench along the road wearing a long ash grey trench coat. Next to me sat a man in his early twenties.

“Ich will das Ziel lebendig und unversehrt.” I ordered him before dismissing him. Chewing the wad of gum in my mouth, I picked up the round device that was given to me. The target building was to my right, a U.S Embassy located right here in the city of London.

On your command, Herr Major.” A soldier said through my earpiece. Standing up from the bench I sat on, I let out a groan as I stretched my arms.

“Go.” Was all I said once I began to casually walk towards the embassy. Just as I walked, a group of men in matching suits had appeared from out an alley and quickly crossed the street and entered the building. The last one that had entered had tapped the wall, leaving a small and unnoticeable device on it. I walked off onto the grass and reached the side wall of the building.

“Comms off, hit it.” I said before quickly turning off the earpiece. Seconds later, the sound of the entire building shutting down greeted my ears. With a chuckle I took out the chewed up gum from my mouth after having to chew for the past few hours and placed it onto the wall before moving back a few feet and seeing the once pink colored gum turn into a sickly green before erupting into a large explosion, making an entrance for me. Once the dust cleared, I took count of four guards holding their weapons up at me.

“Hmph.” Was all that was heard from me before they opened fire. It was as if they had no prior training, they missed every shot but those that came close missed as I moved to the side without any problems.

Once I had them in arms reach, I took hold of the closest guard before throwing him onto another. They seemed to be stunned by the sheer strength I showed, but had only mere moments to so before I had taken a hold of one of the discarded sidearms and quickly disposed of the two guards. A groan caught my attention and I looked to see the two guards on the floor in pain from their collision. I merely pointed the gun before shooting both.

After both their bloodied heads hit the floor, I took notice of my surroundings and saw that I stood in the middle of a long hallway, the echoes of fighting came from the right so I decided to head left down the hall. It wasn't long until I had reached the targeted room.

After ripping the door off its hinges and tossing it to the side, there hid the ambassador. The one whom had crossed me once before.

“Well then, isn't this a happy reunion.” I said walking towards the cowering man before throwing his desk aside.

“Ben, pal, how's… How's it been?” The man asked, carefully choosing his words. “I haven't seen you since that whole Germany fiasco a few years ago.” He said, reaching over to a fallen gun behind him.

“Funny you should mention that.” I said, kicking the gun away from his reach. “It took me almost all of my power to get them in a more reasonable mood after what you did and they no longer want you dead.”

“R-really?” Was all he muttered. I took a firm grip on the flipped over office chair before placing right side up and sitting down on it afterwards.

“Of course, I wouldn't let friend die, now would I?” I said in a calming manner. “But…”

“But? But what?” He said, sounding panicked by my words.

“They wanted something to compensate for your treason.” I said before standing up. “Ever heard of an Eye for Eye?” I said with a grin slowly appearing upon my face, knowing full well what is about to occur.

“What?” His response came just before the face of realization and horror appeared. “No, No, No, No, please.” He pleaded.

“Don't think of it that way.” I said with a smile. “Think of it as a way to finally see your family again.” I told him with a long jagged knife in my hand.

“Please!” He yelled once more as I lifted him by the collar of his vest.

“For what it's worth.” I started before the knife was inches away from his eye. “It's nothing personal, it's just business.” With that the sounds of fighting were drowned by the screams of pain that the man produced as inch after inch of sharp steel entered through his eye socket. After the entire blade disappeared inside of him, I pulled it out and was rewarded by another scream before quickly jabbing the knife into his throat.

“Who am I kidding, it was personal.” I said with a quiet laugh.

With a loud slam, the door behind me flew open as four armed guards swarmed the large office. They were heavily armed than the previous guards.

“Freeze!” One yelled out with much force. Another took a quick glance over my shoulder only to see the dead corpse I held up.

“Or what?” I asked, dropping the corpse after taking my knife back. “You'll shoot me?” I asked once more, turning to look at them.

“I said Freeze, you son of a bitch!” The same man yelled before taking aim. “Or we will use lethal force!” He exclaimed.

“Go ahead, take the first shot.” I said before pointing onto my forehead. “Right here, good sir. Take the shot.” I dared him and he took it. Firing a single bullet out of his rifle and hitting the center of my forehead. I reeled back and fell onto the floor while screaming in pain, hopping they'd take the bait. Two of them walked up to me once I stopped moving and held my breath.

“That was… easy.” Said the closest guard before they looked down at me. From the their reaction, I could tell they saw it. The bullet was pushed out of my forehead just before the wound healed itself. With that I took hold of the closest guard, gripping their neck and standing up, much to the others horror.

“Well I did you give the first shot.” I told them as they raised their weapons and readied to fire. “It wasn't a good one but you tried and that's all that matters.” Saying this, I quickly crushed the neck I held in my hand before tossing the body at them just as they fired, further killing the man with the broken neck despite him already being dead.

After absorbing the bullets for me, the shredded corpse had landed on one of the three other guards. Without giving them a chance, I quickly pulled out a simple .44 magnum revolver.

“My turn.” I said before hearing the click to which was followed by a loud bang from the gun in my hand as it fired.

“Has your kind really advanced that much?” Asked the lavender colored woman beside me. After leaving the cave, Twilight has kept on asking me about my kind while sneaking in a few questions about myself. So to pass the time, I droned on and on about how humanity technological advances and such, fortunately this got Twilight to stop her barrage of questions. There were a few questions from the shy winged woman or mare, whatever but they were, they always seemed to lean towards the natural aspect of Earth. As I've learned from the two mares, it seems Equis and Earth are similar to one another regarding planet habitability but unlike Earth, Equis isn't so technological, stemming from having magic.

“For the tenth time, yes. Now can you please be quiet, I'm starting to regret coming along.” I told her with a side glance. ‘Like I haven't already.’ I thought as I saw Twilight looking at me with an apologetic expression.

“Sorry, it's just… you're the first otherworldly being to have ever set foot on Equis.” She apologized while adding her reasoning for the questions. “It's not something anypony would see every day.”

“Right.” With that said, we continued on the trail towards the town. If what the mare beside said was true about the pegasus’s shyness, the latter didn't seem to show it. Without even noticing, we had exited the forest and into a clearing. From where I stood, a large town could be seen from afar.

“There it is, the town of Ponyville.” Said the pink haired mare. I tried not to laugh from the sheer stupidity of the name and managed to keep it inside. “Sorry Twilight but I've been gone for a while and you know how Angel gets when I'm gone.” She informed Twilight before departing by spreading her wings and taking a leisurely flight away.

“Bye, Fluttershy!” Yelled Twilight at her distant friend. After waving her goodbye, Twilight turned to look at me with her smile faltering slightly into a nervous look. “Um, follow me. My home is just on the other side of town.” She said with a bit of nervousness in her tone.

“Then lead the way.” I said to her and with a nod, she walked passed me. It seemed as if the town was abandoned as no-one was in sight.

“I'm pretty sure a town consists of a large community, no?” I asked the princess in front of me. “Yet I see no one.”

“I-” She began. If she had said anything, I wouldn't have heard it when I felt the wind knocked out me before being shoved away.

“Get away from her, freak.” I heard the assailant say. I simply looked up and was met with another pegasus, a cyan furred mare with a rainbow colored mane and tail. Judging by her attire, I could tell she was the athletic type.

Behind her was Twilight in a state of shock and unable to speak from the sudden surprise. I straightened back up without any injuries.

“Big mistake.” She said. Without a second wasted, she had charged towards me with incredible speed with a readied fist. I simply stood my ground with a deadpanned stare. I felt the cyan furred fist strike me on the left cheek, causing me to look up from the force.

“W-what?” Said the cyan mare in shock at my expression. With an open palm I shoved her away from me. Despite her earlier attempt being a failure, the mare tried again and charged towards me but unlike last time, I caught her fist mere inches away from my face before giving it a hard squeeze. She winced in pain and let out a quiet whine as well before trying again with her other fist. I just moved my head back just as her fist swung by before looking down at her as I applied more pressure to her hand.

“Did you honestly expect that to work?” I asked in calm manner as I squeezed the mare’s hand with more pressure, making her get onto her knees in pain. “Is she a friend, Twilight?” I asked the lavender princess just a few feet away.

“Yes.” She said after a minute of silence. With a nod, I twisted her fist to the left then to the right before letting go, allowing her to regain her now dislocated hand. She yelled in pain as she clutched her hand. This finally got Twilight to move and help her fallen friend. With her horn emitting a lavender hue, Twilight began to heal her friend's hand.

As if by chance or bad luck, I was suddenly lasso'd by someone behind me. I could hear the struggling of another woman trying to pull on the lasso.

“By Celestia, what are you made of?” Came a southern accented woman. I glanced behind me and saw an orange furred mare trying desperately to pull on the rope. I took hold of the rope before giving it a mighty yank to which sent the would be assailant flying before landing just beside the cyan pegasus. She groaned and looked at me with a glare I broke out of the ropes with ease.

“Applejack stop!” Twilight yelled at the orange mare. Despite Twilight’s plea to stop, the orange mare named after a brand of cereal (or an old type of alcoholic beverage) stood up and ran towards me, before delivering a well placed spin kick to the arm and dislocating it as a result. After I realized what she had done, I simply let out an annoyed grunt before grabbing my dislocated arm and snapping it back into place.

Unlike her friend, the orange mare actually showed shock and surprise on what I'd done before frowning again. She got into a fighting stance before charging towards me again.

She tried to spin kick me again again but I quickly reacted grabbed her leg as she was in the air before swing her to the side and letting go, sending her face first onto a wall face.

“Stop hurting my friends!” Yelled Twilight. I looked towards her with a raised brow.

“Your friends attacked me, I was just defending myself.” I said just an orange fist came into view only to be caught. “I could've done worse, you know.” I told the lavender princess before twisting the fist I held and dislocating it like I did the cyan mare.

Like her friend before, Applejack tried another punch but this time was stopped by a lavender aura holding her closed hand in place.

“Applejack, enough!” Twilight yelled before pulling Applejack away towards herself.

“Why are ya trying to defend it, Twi?” Said Applejack with pained groan.

“Yeah, isn't that the creep Shining cuffed a few days ago?” The cyan mare said, still clutching her broken hand. Twilight only frowned at these words.

“What Shining did was accuse Ben for foalnapping me when in actuality, he was the one who saved me.” Twilight said with her arms crossed.

“That thing has a name?” Said the cyan mare.

“That thing kicked your ass.” I replied with smirk. “Not as if there was much to kick.” I added. She growled and tried to stand only to be put down by the same lavender aura that held the other mare.

“Enough, Rainbow!” Yelled Twilight in anger. She then looked at me. “I'm so sorry about my friends, I didn't know they'd react so…” She stopped, trying to think of the word she wanted to say.

“Idiotically? Suicidal?” I guessed the word.

“Violently towards you.” She said after a brief silence. “I had thought my friends had learned to be more trusting towards others that aren't a pony after the whole Zecora ordeal.” She added while giving both friends a cold glare.

“Whatever, just know that if they try anything again, broken bones will be the least of your worries.” I warned them before hearing something behind me again. Looking back I was greeted with an ear to ear grin faced pink mare with a party hat on. I growled at how close she was before pushing her aside.

“Hey!” I heard her yell as she fell. I ignored her and walked away from the scene towards the clearing I had just been in.

“I'm going for a walk out of town. So don't follow me until your friends now what's going on.” I told Twilight before placing my hands inside my pockets and walking away.

As Ben walked away from the group, Twilight couldn't help but let out a very annoyed sigh. Despite her friends doing what they thought was best, they hadn't thought of him being a good guy instead of a creature from the forest.

“Why?” She asked both Rainbow and Applejack as she raised them up to stand. “Why in the name of Celestia did you two do that!?” She yelled.

“I don't know. We couldn't find you anywhere around town and thought that they took you again.” Rainbow said with her shoulders sagged.

“Ah saw Rainbow in pain and acted on impulse.” Applejack said with a shrug.

“Impulse!?” Twilight exclaimed in outrage. “What makes attacking somepony dangerous enough to snap you in two an impulse!?”

“Because he hurt mah friend.” Answered the farmer. Twilight simply rubbed her forehead in frustration. “In mah defense, it's sort of a bad habit of mine.” Added the farmer with a bit of embarrassment in her tone.

Behind the three mares was Pinkie Pie, the town's very own party planner, baker and Element of Laughter. She rubbed her head in a bit of pain before looking towards the direction Ben had left in and narrowed her eyes.

“Geez. Grouchy much.” She said before hopping back onto her hooves. “I know what'll cheer him up!” She exclaimed before skipping away without a care of the world.

Author's Note

I would say that I'm sorry for the delay but then I would be lying to you.

Truth is I took my time with this one, there was a point when I was inches away from the cancellation button but I didn't. I like this fic, it's my first super human fic that isn't from a game.

So if you don't like the long wait for other chapters then I'm sorry but I'm not planning to write another chapter for another few days.

Anyway, hope you enjoyed the chapter.
