Chapter 1: Getting In

Well, at least he’s cornered. No more tricks now.
Spike sighed in relief as the power of the Elements of Harmony flew through the sky, coming to a crest over the town of Ponyville the same way they had the last time that Discord had escaped. It rolled up there, the rainbow of power slowly coming down again. It was a crashing cascade of magic, and the little dragon knew that it would be just enough to take the old dragon down.
So…
So why wasn’t Discord afraid?
Everything seemed to move in slow motion as he watched his friends direct the power of the Elements at the...thing...that stood across from them. Discord didn’t move, didn’t try and flee. He didn’t scream, nor even look afraid. If anything, the clever old creature only smiled.
Why isn’t he running away? Doesn’t he know -
“Oh, Twilight, didn’t you learn anything last time?”
His mocking voice filled the air, loud enough to be heard over the power falling towards him. The creature lifted his hand and snapped his finger, and a flash of light burst around him, bright enough to overwhelm the falling rainbow. Spike held up his hands to shield his eyes, whimpering and shaking as he wondered what magic Discord would curse them with now. Some transformation? Something that would leave Ponyville completely altered? Some final spell that would drive them all insane?
When nothing of the sort happened, the dragon almost felt disappointed.
“Huh.”
He lowered his hand, and blinked.
“What the heck?”
“Tha’s what I was thinking, Spike.”
Applejack wasn’t the only one, either, as all of his pony friends were staring at the strange fun house that had suddenly popped out of nowhere. It was like something out of a carnival, except...bigger. And scarier, with the copies of Discord’s head popping in and out of the windows, laughing and giggling the whole time.
“Uh...Twilight...What’s going on? I thought you guys were -”
“Quiet, Spike. We’ll deal with this. Alright, girls. One more try.”
Knowing better than to interrupt, Spike stepped to the side, shaking his head. The ponies lifted up in the air, powered by the Elements again, and another rainbow built up around them. It soared through the air and came crashing down…
Only to do nothing to the structure. Not even a dent could be seen along the multi-colored, shifting walls, and Discord’s laughter only got louder.
“Awww, do the ponies think that they can do something to stop me with their precious elements? Such a silly idea, everyone. ”
Spike opened his mouth, but his friends beat him to it. Rainbow Dash zipped forward, holding up her hooves like fists in front of the floating heads sticking through the windows.
“Oh yeah? Well, you better think twice about trying to hide in there, buster! We’re gonna get you and drag you out. I bet that you won’t be so safe when you’re back in the open.”
“Rainbow Dash. Such honesty, and for a change, so perceptive. ”
“Hey!”
She tried to punch at the head, only for it to suddenly turn into glue. Screaming and squirming, she pulled at her leg, but it wouldn’t come free. Meanwhile, Discord kept talking.
“Of course I’d be in trouble if I were outside of my little fun house. That’s the whole point of having it. Why put myself in danger if I don’t have to? I can do everything I like from my little throne room. Top floor, by the way; classy. ”
Spike opened his mouth with another question, but this time, Twilight beat him, stepping forward and shouting towards the house.
“Why are you telling us this? We could come in after you.”
“Oh, my. My whole plan is undone, torn to shreds, dealt a finishing blow… ”
“Yeah, sugar cube. You got him. Let’s get in there!”
The ponies ran towards the door, ignoring the way that Spike tried to hold up his hand to say something. Unlike the others, he’d seen the sparkles, the gems that were built into the doorway of the fun house. They were glittering brighter than anything he’d seen, enough to put a rumble in his stomach. But even he knew that meant that they weren’t exactly normal.
The girls reached the open door with grins on their faces, only for them to turn into frowns as they were suddenly bounced away, knocked right on their butts as if they’d run into a wall. Most of them looked completely out of it, and Spike ran over, trying to help them.
Getting Twilight back on her feet was the first step, and a little shake of her head helped her wake back up. She glanced up at the doorway, and groaned, stomping her hoof.
“Gosh darn it! He put up a spell…”
“Oh, did I? Yes, it looks like I did. There are rules to this little game, after all, just like last time. ”
The ponies and Spike let out a groan all at the same time. He remembered how the rules had screwed them over the last time, and how Discord had cheated to get them to break apart and let him win. It was embarrassing, to say the least, and he didn’t know if they could win.
Still…
Spike walked up to the front door.
“What are the rules? You can at least tell us that.”
“Oh, what fun, the little dragon is playing this time, too? And it’s a good thing he is, little ponies. ”
Suddenly, a shadow with a great similarity to Discord loomed over the entrance, glaring down at them with glowing red eyes.
“Because without this little dragon boy, you wouldn’t be able to do anything. ”
“Why not?”
“Because, Twilight, my dear, I don’t feel like dealing with you goody-goodies and all those happy feelings that you keep talking about. Those elements of yours are a problem, and give you far too much of an advantage. No, I think that this time I will keep the advantage, and the best way to do that is to keep those elements far, far away.
“Rule one. There will be no magic, and that means, no elements. None of you ponies will be entering the fun house, and nobody else that was ever bound to the elements. So, if any of you were thinking of running to dear old Celestia - or her mooning monarch of a sister - it won’t matter. None of you will be able to enter.
“Rule two. You can’t give anyone something to take inside. After all, who knows what little tricks or traps that you might give them to take to me. ”
“Well, who knows what tricks and traps you have inside?”
“Oh, Spike, you hurt me. As if I’d trap the whole place with candy and chocolate and everything else sweet and wonderful under the sun...Of course I do, but this is my game, and my rules. And if you don’t want to play, why, we don’t have to play at all. ”
“...What?”
“Of course we don’t have to play. But if we don’t, then I’ll be doing things like this. ”
Suddenly a bolt of lightning shot out of the roof, out of some hidden chimney, and it went soaring through the air until it hit one of the houses on the edge of Ponyville. The whole thing suddenly flared with light, and transformed from a square little cottage into a rolling orange. The pony still inside screamed as the house started rolling away with her inside of it.
“Ooooh, such a fruity little thing. I’m sure that she’ll come to love it. Of course, you could go and save her, but that means that you won’t have any help for Spike here, if he decides to come in, of course. ”
The more Discord talked, the less Spike liked the idea of going inside. Sure, he’d been inside a number of fun houses before, but he’d never tried something that was...magical, at least not like this. And the fact that Discord was the one in charge of it meant that anything could happen. Literally, anything, considering that he was the embodiment of chaos.
He turned, hoping that Twilight would have a better idea, but the ponies were already gone, running after the rolling house. Spike stared with an open mouth at the rescue group, and slowly hung his head.
“Dang it...Why does it have to be me?”
“Ohhhh, poor little Spikey-wikey. Does the wittle dragon feel all alone? ”
Spike almost nodded. Almost. Then he remembered the last time that Discord had been released, and the way that all their friends had started acting so differently. He wasn’t going to doubt them. He wasn’t going to let the embodiment of chaos mess with his head.
“N-no. I’m not all alone. I’m just…”
“Scared? Nervous? Horny? ”
“What?”
“Nervous?”
“No, what was...huh?”
“Oh, you’ll see. Not long now. But tell me, Spikey, are you coming in? Are you going to do what only you can do? ”
“Well, no one else can stop you, and Twilight can’t exactly go explaining the whole thing to someone else right now, can she?”
“Ooooh, wonderful. Just one little thing before you come in, though. Just a price of entry, you know how it is. ”

The shadow of Discord suddenly darted down and grabbed hold of his own shadow. Spike squirmed back, but the only thing that happened was that he felt like he was being stretched, pulled on like the taffy at the bakery. He stopped, staring nervously as Discord picked his little shadow off of the ground, pulling it this way and that.
“I can make something wonderful with this. Let’s see how you like it. ”
Suddenly, his shadow was wrenched away. Ripped off like a piece of paper, it pulled off of his feet and sent him falling head over heels, landing on his back. Spike grunted as the air was knocked out of his lungs, and only barely noticed the weird feeling of something flopping against his stomach as he landed.
“Of course, what use is a fun house if you don’t have the thing to have fun with? You’ll thank me for this later, my perverted little dragon. ”
“What…”
He had heard that word before, but never in a good way. Spike blushed as he pulled himself to his feet, shaking his head repeatedly.
“I’m not a pervert. I -”
“Oh, really? Don’t perverts go around showing themselves off? Not like you can avoid doing that now, little dragon. Look down. ”
Driven by his own curiosity, Spike did just that, and immediately blushed.
Dangling between his legs was a generous helping of maleness. He knew what it was - after all, he had used it before - but normally it was covered in, held inside of him. But he hoped that he had at least paid the price that Discord wanted. There was no way that he could hang out outside anymore with this thing dangling between his legs, out where everyone could see. At least if he was inside, he could make sure that only he and Discord could see it. Not that he wanted Discord to see it; it was private.
Spike ran at the doorway, bracing himself for the wall that Twilight and the others had banged off of. He ran up the stairs, through the hole in the wall that was the doorway as he closed his eyes…
And nothing happened. No zaps, no sudden knock backs, no electric tingles that would have burned or turned him into something. It seemed like everything was fine. Spike let out a deep sigh of relief, and opened his eyes.
“Well, that wasn’t so - HUH?!”
Everything was huge. Well, it had already been huge, but now it was even bigger. While he’d been tall enough to come up to the middle of the doorway before, now he was barely more than an inch or two off of the ground.
And it wasn’t just the walls that loomed over him, either. Now that he was inside of the fun house, he could see the furniture that lined the hallway. It was a long, round corridor, with small chairs here and there - or, well, small compared to most pony furniture. It was still huge to him, so big that he would have felt like he was climbing a small mountain if he were to try and climb one of the stools, even, let alone one of the chairs.
He blushed, feeling a little tingle down below, and the little dragon immediately reached down, covering his crotch, but it was too late.
“Awww, what’s the matter, Spikey-wikey? Is the wittle bitty dragon liking being so tiny? ”
“Shut up! I don’t like...I don’t want to be like this.”

Not daring to wait, Spike started running down the hallway, his hands pressed firmly over his crotch. Spike had always kept it a secret, but there was a part of him that liked being smaller than his friends, enjoyed being the smallest person around when he was in a group of people. “Chocolate rain, again?”
“Ah, not quite, Spikey-wikey. You didn’t think you could just run through my house and get to me that fast, did you? ”

“Oh, hope is a fine and dandy thing, isn’t it? So very fun to crush and smash when people finally realize that it doesn’t do anything real for them. ”
The puddle continued to spread until it was almost touching the dragon’s toes, and he backed away from it, not wanting to get soaked with...whatever it was. It was almost certainly not good, and he didn’t want to tempt fate. He turned, hoping to keep going -
Plop.
Another droplet fell - probably from the ceiling - and landed right in front of him. He yelped as he jumped back, out of the way, and only barely avoided falling into the first puddle. The second started spreading, the air filling with the smell of chocolate.
He looked up, and saw a number of bigger drops swelling at the ceiling. They were so far away at this height, but he knew better than to stay around.
Time to run.
Leaping over the puddle ahead of him before it could get to full size, Spike threw all of his energy into running as fast as he could. It wasn’t easy with his hands held tight over his crotch, trying to keep his privates from being seen, but he felt like he was running pretty dang fast. Particularly with his lungs burning.
The droplets started falling almost immediately, and he suddenly had a good feeling of how a bug felt in the middle of a rain shower. The dragon yelped and screamed as he ran away from the falling chocolate, his eyes wide as they pounded and slammed into the ground behind and around him. Splatters of brown shot upwards, hitting his little wings and running down his tail as the rain started catching up with him.
Soon it was falling in front of him, like falling stars on a horrible summer night. He screamed and jumped from side to side, just barely avoiding getting hit by the chocolate rain. There was no avoiding the splatters, though, and he could feel his feet and his legs getting coated with it, making him stick to the ground and slowing him down.
Finally, one of the blobs hit him right on the head, and as he was so tiny, it knocked him right off his feet. He hit the ground hard, rolling forward until he was laying on his stomach, and groaning as he tried to pull himself out of the puddle.
“Oh, look at you, sweet thing. On all fours like that? Why, such a kind offer; I didn’t even know you were gay. ”
Spike’s eyes went wide, and he immediately pulled himself to his feet, strings of melted chocolate running from his arms and tail and legs towards the puddle. His tail curled around, pulling down between his legs and up over his crotch, and he held it there with chocolate covered hands.

He gagged at the thought of actually getting hit, considering where the spurts were being shot from; he didn’t want anything that came out of a penis.
He reached the wall, but even as he shoved his claws into the chocolate, he knew that there was no digging through it. It was too thick; he could push his arms in up to the shoulder, and it wasn’t enough to get to the other side. Spike barely managed to pull himself free from that, and turned to face the goblins again.

One of them went off, hitting Spike in the face. He gagged as the chocolate shot down his throat, tasting saltier than anything he’d ever had. The explosion sent a wave of chocolate and pressure through the air, knocking Spike down and sending most of the goblins further back. A sign went flying through the air, and then landed flat on the dragon’s face. The smack wasn’t too painful, but the sign itself…

“Well, not what I expected when I said to blow, but I suppose that it works. Hehehe, I hope that you have fun with the other eleven, Spikey-Wikey. ”

As he tugged on his feet, trying to pull them free of the wood, he felt the ground shake. Spike paused in the middle of his struggles, looking around, knowing that he’d need a hiding space if it was Discord coming down.
Unlike the home-like hallway that led into the fun house, this room was more like a carnival chamber. It had a lot of bendy-rods sticking up from the floor, making an obstacle course from one side of the room to the other. Or, at least, an obstacle course for normal sized people. For Spike, it was more like a forest of ropes. There were no big bits of furniture, but with something like this, maybe he could outrun anything big.
He managed to wrench one foot off of the floor when the source of the thudding finally stepped into the room.
Huge, black, and shimmery, Spike nevertheless recognized it immediately as himself, or at least a giant version of himself. It was as naked as he was, and as...exposed. He blushed as he watched the bigger dragon’s shimmery black shaft sway back and forth, bouncing with each long, slow step, and realized how he must look in miniature.
Then, the big latex Spike turned towards him.

Stomp, stomp, stomp went those feet behind him, stomping down into the ground and almost making him bounce in the air every time that they did. Spike wobbled to and fro as he ran, too afraid to look behind him…

STOMP! He bounced up in the air and came down on his back, the shock-wave enough to leave him dizzy. The dragon stared upwards, looking at the creature that was only a step away from him now, but he was too dazed to get up. All he could do was stare as that massive, shimmering, three-toed foot came down on him.
The weight was enormous, and the pressure even more so. The little dragon gasped and coughed as his duplicate pushed down harder and harder on him, pinning his head between two toes and making him stare upwards. His copy chuckled, looking at him the way that he’d looked at bugs out in the fields.
“Heh, look at you. You’re just a tiny little dragon; a little bitty bug under my feet. I bet you would go flat so quick if I pushed harder.”

The duplicate kept laughing, teasing, taunting, but Spike was more focused on the feeling of that big, smooth foot pushing him down. Even if he could get to the end of the tunnel again - and that was a big if - he might still be stuck at micro size. Twilight and the others would be understanding, but he knew that they’d be disappointed in him, too, and he couldn’t live with that.

At least the ground was getting a bit softer. The carpet was gone, but the ground felt a bit rubbery, almost like it was made of bounce-pads. They were even bigger than the chocolate ones from the other arena, and sported even bigger dicks. Another boom, and another, hard thuds coming down the corridor that led out of the room. Spike felt the vibrations through the floor, and the next one bounced him upwards. Until the gum finally snapped, sending him flying off in another direction. Spike’s mutter was barely heard, but it seemed to amuse the chaotic master of the fun house. The dragon pulled back, watching the hallway as a giant silhouette approached.
It was a pony, or at least, it was a very large version of a pony. He could only stare up at it as it got closer and closer, knowing that he was no bigger than one of its hooves, if that. The idea of being held beneath one, stuck there -

“Look at you, figuring out puzzles left and right. Maybe living in that library did you some little bit of good after all. ”
“What did you do?! If you hurt Rarity -”
“As if you needed another reason to come after me. No, no, this isn’t the real Rarity. ”
Discord grabbed her by the horn, and suddenly ripped it off. Spike gagged, the horrible crunching sound nearly leaving him vomiting, but only for a moment. The pony transformed, going from an imitation of Rarity to something darker, grayer, until it was nothing more than a statue. A very well carved one, but a statue nonetheless. Discord tossed her horn from hand to hand, chuckling to himself.
“Just a little bit of chaos put together, just for you, Spikey-wikey. You have to deal with her in order to get out of this room, and I think you might like it more than you admit. ”
“What...what are you talking about? I don’t want to fight her.”
“Oh, please, as if you could. You and I both know that you’re not that good a fighter. The best you could do is scuff her hooves. No, you’ll have to be smart if you want to get out of this. Or, maybe, if you’re just the dumb little gay boy that you’ve been acting like, you can stay here forever, and just enjoy serving her. ”
“But...why would I -”
“Let’s get this game started, hmm? ”

“As I was saying, you don’t belong here, Spike. You can’t actually handle Discord. The most you could do is make him laugh.”
She kept coming closer and closer, and Spike realized that if he didn’t do something, he’d be completely cornered when she reached him. He darted along the wall, using the little dip in the floor to keep from being sent flying, and ran as hard and as fast as he could. The vibrations and eventual shockwaves left him off-balance, but he needed to keep his distance.
It was only a stalling action, though. She was so much bigger than him, and she was barely moving at a fast walk. If she ever picked up the pace, she’d overtake him in seconds. He watched as she bounced a little with each step, getting closer, closer, those thunderous hooves coming nearer and nearer to him.
He imagined how it would feel if they actually caught him, what would happen if he was pinned under them. The hooves would be hard, but the spot between, around the bend of the hard ‘nail’ of the hooves, was softer. If he could get caught there -

Well...it wasn’t the first time that he’d thought of doing that, admittedly. If it weren’t for the bounce floor, he would have been crushed into a paste. As it was, her hoof still stole the breath from his lungs, leaving him gasping, panting, shivering.
She leaned in, glaring at him.
“Look at you. Can’t even do this. I swear, Twilight should have left you in Canterlot. A spoiled little dragon who can’t even serve a lady...What would anyone do with you? Probably trade you back to the dragons for some gems that could actually have a proper use. I bet you would have preferred that too; I don’t think you ever really wanted me. I bet you were paying more attention to stallions.”
“I...I never…”
He gasped for breath, barely filling his lungs.
“Oh, you know what you wanted. You’ve always been a...a dick-seeking gay boy. You never really wanted a girl like me. Or anyone else. Too useless. Too perverted. Too tiny. No, you know what you really are.”

So many ifs, but he needed to do something. Spike coughed and gasped, turning his attention back to the pony above him.
“I can’t...breathe…”
The real Rarity would have pulled her hoof off of him instantly at that point. This one looked at him with suspicion, glaring at him. Then...slowly...she pulled her hoof back. Not much, but enough to let him get a little air.
That was all he needed. Huffing and puffing, he managed to blow a blast of messenger fire under her hoof. It didn’t actually burn anything, but it was enough to get her to pull back. He supposed the magic that turned her from statue to living was enough to make her feel things, too; in any case, he was off like a shot, running across the bounce floor.
“You little monster! Get back here!”
It might have only been a few feet away, but for a tiny little dragon like him, that was a long run to make. Spike ran as fast as he could, dodging left and right as Rarity’s hooves came down around him. It was like trying to run through an avalanche, if avalanches had pedicured ends and glittery bodies. He knew better than to try and talk, though. There was no reasoning with this enchanted statue, and if he stopped, he would be completely crushed, this time.
Just gotta...make sure I don’t get stuck…
Which would be harder than it looked. He was already bouncing around, and Rarity’s latest stomp nearly turned him into a pinball as he was bounced up and between her legs, thudding off of them before coming back down. He panted for breath, barely keeping conscious from the battering, and was forced to take the next blow to bounce himself forward.
He landed right on the edge of the gum trap, and glanced over his shoulder. Rarity was right behind him, rearing up on her hind legs.
“You...you...little...beast!”
“I’m really sorry about this, Rarity, but -”
“Get squished!”
He jumped just as she stomped down, managing to leap over the stretch of gum if only barely. He came down, wobbling and stepping backwards to catch his balance. He felt it squish into the trap, winced -
“SPIKE!”
Rarity’s hooves came down hard, and the impact launched him all the way up towards the ceiling. Spike hit it hard enough to bounce off of it again, falling back to the floor. Rarity’s screams of rage terrified him, and as soon as he hit the ground, he kept on bouncing towards the door, not daring to look back in case she got herself free.
He only stopped when he felt solid ground underneath him again, and then he turned around, looking back the way he’d come.
Rarity - or rather, the statue of Rarity - glared at him, but it was nothing more than a stony stare. Her body was mostly converted back to rock, leaving nothing but a stone face to stare at him. Her hooves were splattered in bubblegum, and she looked completely stuck. The dragon took a deep breath, sighing and almost collapsing onto the floor of the hallway.
“Thank heavens…”
Spike shook his head, a series of shivers running down his body as he realized what he’d just done. Not only had he fought a pony and won, he’d fought a giant and managed to outsmart it. No matter the fact that it was a massive statue, that it was enchanted by Discord…

“See? Stairs! I’m coming for you, Discord.”

Chapter 3: Pie in the Sky

Never thought stairs...could be so hard, Spike thought to himself as he climbed up and over the third-to-last one in the back of the fun house. The sparkling lights above him kept throwing off his depth perception, and more than once he’d almost tumbled back the way he came.
Which would have been bad for more than just wasted time. He glanced over his shoulder, looking at the collection of caramel, candy, and gum goblins that had followed him and made a force for themselves at the bottom of the stairs. They were too slick or too sticky to climb up on their own, so they waited in case he fell down. There were so many that he knew that he’d be trapped for good if he fell. So, he made sure that he didn’t.
Turning to look ahead, he imagined that he was getting close. The little micro dragon couldn’t imagine the fun house having too many more rooms; it had looked relatively small from the outside, after all, not as big as the huge ones that were in carnivals.
Maybe the next room will be the right one.
He really hoped so. He didn’t want to keep listening to all the teasing that Discord was doing for much longer. And he really, really, really didn’t want to deal with being called a ‘gay boy’ anymore. Just because he was...hard...from walking around so tiny didn’t make him that, he knew that, but whenever Discord made him fight something with a dick, and then...do stuff to it...to get away, it made him blush and whimper.
But he forced that out of his head, though not without some difficulty. His eyes went back to the next step, letting the flashing lights go by a couple of times so he could get used to just where the edge of the step was. When he had a good idea, he backed up to the edge of his current one, took a deep breath, and charged.
He jumped at the last second, leaping as high as he could and flapping his tiny little wings for whatever boost they might give him. It was just enough, and he managed to grab the edge of the step without falling over.
Ugh...why did he have to make it so big…
It took him almost a minute to pull himself up, and he was panting by the end of it. Not because of the one step, but because it was the thirtieth step of the stairway, and he had been doing this for a long, long time now. He groaned as he looked up at the next one, knowing that the hallway wasn’t too far away now.
“I swear, when I get to him…”
He couldn’t finish the sentence, and he sighed. He had no idea what he’d do when he finally found Discord. He’d been winging it so far, working off of plans that came to him in the middle of being in horrible trouble, and so far, he’d been very lucky. The fact that the goblins all had the same rules to beat them was pure luck, and the fact that he’d managed to trap the fake Rarity in gum...well, that was luck, too.
Despite knowing that he couldn’t keep relying on it, Spike didn’t have any idea of what else he could do. All he had was luck. He had no idea of what the other chambers would be like, and even if he did, he doubted he could come up with something that would work in advance.
As he leaped up to the next stair, he just resolved to play it by ear. Twilight and the others kept having to wing it; maybe he could do the same.
After a moment’s wobbling on the top step and nearly tumbling down, Spike took a deep breath and looked ahead. The hallway wasn’t that different from the others, though perhaps a little narrower. If a normal pony was walking down it, they’d be kinda squished between the two padded walls, and would likely wriggle through to the other side. Being so tiny, Spike could just walk normally, and for once, he was happy about that.
At least it wasn’t bouncy like the room down below; that had been very difficult, and more than a little annoying for the young dragon. This, while squishy, was still fairly solid. He could walk on this without getting his balance thrown off.
He made it about halfway down the hallway before he felt the ground beneath him shake. The dragon paused, looking around for any sign of Discord’s magic. Nothing above him, and as he turned around, he didn’t see anything behind him, either.
“What the -”
“Ahem.”
A sharp point tapped him on the shoulder, and Spike nearly jumped out of his skin. He certainly jumped off of the floor to nearly twice his height out of sheer shock. Whipping around in the process, he saw -
“What the hay?! You...what?”
He came back down, only to find himself staring at a giant foot sticking out of the floor. It had to be Discord’s, as far as he could see; it had the scaly features of one of the creature’s limbs, and the two toes that Discord had on the non-hoofed leg. He glared at it, and tried to walk around it.
Unfortunately, the foot came down hard, blocking his way forward with a sudden thump. Groaning, Spike walked around to the other side, only for it to stomp down again, keeping the way blocked.
“Ah ah ah, Spikey-Wikey. What makes you think that I’m just going to let you go through without another test?”
“Couldn’t I just deal with the goblins again? I’m getting tired of this.”
“Oh, Spikey, I know I can always have it fun and games, but where’s the pleasure if everyone else does, too? You can get back to blowing their dicks later, but for right now, I have something I desperately need you to do for me.”
“And what’s that?”
“I need you to paint my nails. They’re horribly dull looking.”
Spike’s jaw would have dropped, if he was capable of being that surprised by Discord anymore. It literally made no sense, being around the embodiment of chaos, so he wasn’t entirely sure why he was surprised at anything anymore.
The toes atop the green-scaled foot curled, and suddenly a bottle of nail polish and a little applicator - little, in and of the fact that it was half his size - popped into existence. Spike had no idea how Discord had done that, either. He stared at them, and then back at the foot, and then back at the bottle.
“You want me...to paint your nails? Why?”
“Come now, they’re WHITE for heaven’s sake. White! That’s so dull, so boring, so, so natural! I want something different.”
“And you can’t do it yourself, because…”
“Because, dear little Spikey.”
The foot came down faster than he imagined, the big, green sole slamming down on him hard enough to knock him off his feet. A heady smell of soft musk followed it, smearing into his scales, and he groaned as he had his head pinned between two of the toes.
“Because I have you to do it. Because you’ll do it if you want to keep moving forward, and because I will make your life too ‘fun’ for you to handle if you don’t. Am I clear?”
The little dragon groaned, his arms pinned under the toes as he stared upwards towards the ceiling. If Discord had at least been looming over him, Spike was sure that he’d have thought of a plan, but there was only a foot here. A foot that had some easy demands, and at least it didn’t mean he was blowing dicks again. That was something.
“Fine, fine. I’ll do it.”
“Such a good little -”
“Don’t say it.”
“Gaaaaaaaay boy.”
Spike bit his tongue, grumbling under his breath as the foot lifted off of him. The long sole pointed towards him, with the two toes pointing skywards. Continuing to grumble, Spike grabbed the nail polish bottle and started twisting the top off. It was like turning a waterwheel at a well, or one of those weird wheels on the pipes of some machinery, due to the size difference, and as the top popped off -
“Ugh…”
He covered his mouth and pinched his nose, groaning and gagging at the smell that came off of it. It was like smelling a vat of chemicals rather than a simple bit of paint, and he stuck his tongue out at the horrible sick sense it left him with.
“Hehehe, yes, it’s a rather potent blend. Come on, Spike, you don’t have all day. I’m just about to start turning the bunny burrows into something better, like snake pits.”
Fluttershy would kill you for that. But Fluttershy wasn’t there, and he didn’t have any sort of threat to make. Taking a couple of deep breaths past his fingers, he took the applicator - a long swab that he would have to carry like a sword while he climbed to the top of Discord’s foot - and dipped it into the liquid. It stuck to it like glue, and he could already see that it would spread slowly.
Knowing that he’d be at this for a while, Spike sighed as he climbed up the bottom of the big foot presented to him. It took him almost five minutes to climb to the space between the toes, and he started swiping the applicator over the claw as soon as it was in reach. He saw it change from white to red, and had to shake his head in disapproval. There was no point in painting a claw that was just fine; if anyone was the gay one here, it had to be Discord.
He kept up the wiping until the applicator had nothing left in it, and then leaped back down to get more. As he dipped and dunked and swirled it through the gunky paint, he heard Discord chuckling again.
“Heh, such a good job you’re doing, Spikey. I imagine that you do this a lot. Don’t you know that a boy that tends to others nails will never make it good? But then again, a little gay boy like you is probably better suited to making the girls in his life look better. No need for you to do it to yourself; it’s not like you’re looking to get their attention.”
It was all Spike could do to keep from throwing that bottle at the big scaly foot, and staining the whole thing red. He knew if he did, Discord would only make his life a lot more difficult, and he didn’t need that now. He was almost done with one toe, and if he could finish that, he could keep moving on.
Up and down, up and down that scaly sole he went, always finding his way to the gap between the toes and using as much of the paint as he could before having to go back down again. Each time, he got a bit closer, and after four trips, he had one toe painted completely. It was a stunning red, and he sighed in relief; knowing that he had only four trips until the other one was done was something to look forward to.
“But you are good at this, Spikey. My my, I have never seen it painted so well. Perhaps you should be a full time nail and hoof stylist, hmm? It would fit your interests.”
“I’m not -”
“And you’d get to smother yourself in hooves and feet all day, too. Don’t think I didn’t notice how much you loved playing with Rarity’s hooves earlier. Gay boy or not, you are most definitely a pervert beyond measure.”
His cheeks burned at that, and he ran for the bottle, trying to tune out whatever else the embodiment of chaos had to say. That’s what he was afraid of. Going under that scaly foot had too many dangers. What if Discord decided to cheat and crush him then and there? What if he was left completely pinned there, never to get through to find the lord of chaos and stop him? What if -
“Come come, you know you don’t have all day. Or do I have to aim a spell towards Rarity’s house, and bring all her mannequins to life?”
That decided him. Spike puffed out his chest and got down on all fours, starting to wriggle forward under that foot. He could feel the spikes on his head and back dragging along the sole, slowing him down, and he winced as the smell started getting stronger around him. Now that he was pinned again - and with his head under the big scaly sole rather than between the toes - he could feel it all around him.
The one good thing was that it wasn’t dripping around him, wasn’t soaking him. It was just a dry smell of a foot, which...he could deal with. He wriggled faster, though, not wanting to spend too much time underfoot.
He wriggled and squirmed, and groaned every time that Discord pushed down a little harder on top of him, but eventually the little dragon made it to the other side. Yanking himself out from under the heel, Spike let out a deep breath of relief.
“There, you see? Not so bad at all, my little foot-loving boy.”
“I don’t - oh, forget it…”
Spike shook his head as he walked down the remaining bit of hallway, seeing a room ahead. It couldn’t be much worse than what he’d already gone through. A clone of himself, a clone of Rarity, goblins of all sorts of candies and perversions, hoof worship, humiliation...what else could Discord have in store for him that could be worse?
He was almost at the doorway into the next room when he paused. Last time he just ran ahead, he got catapulted around and landed in gum.
Better check it this time…
Spike tiptoed to the side of the hallway and edged along the wall, keeping his footsteps light in case there was another trigger to be tripped. The little dragon did find one, right in the middle of the hallway, and felt a small sense of relief that he didn’t have to deal with that one. No more catapulting for him.
When he reached the border of the hallway and the room, he slowly turned to look inside. It looked like a kitchen gone mad, complete with clanging ovens and swaying chairs, a bouncing table and a series of plates running from sink to table and back again. It was complete and total madness, which, he supposed, was fitting.
Shaking his head, Spike started to step into the room when he heard a click.
“Oh, no…”
He jumped back at the last second, and just in time. A pie that was over ten times his size - perhaps a little over twice the size of a normal one - landed on the ground where he’d been standing. He shivered as he saw the hot juices running around from the splatter point, smelling the fruit that had been the filling.
Drip. Drop. Drip.
The sound of more dripping slowly dragged his attention up to the ceiling, and his eyes almost bugged out of his head at the sight.
Sticking to the ceiling were hundreds upon hundreds of similar pies, each one dripping bits and pieces of its filling towards the ground below. Spike could already see the juices starting to run and stick together in little rivers and puddles, forming a sticky mess that he’d have to get through. The thought of wading through even more made his toes curl in disgust, knowing he was already a mess.
But…
But there was no other choice. He could see the door on the wall to his left, and there wasn’t a sign of anyone else yet. If he ran for it, and he didn’t get stuck under a pie, he would be able to get out before anyone else came in.
“Just...just run for it, Spike. You can do it. You can do it.”
Climbing over the pie pan that was in his way, Spike looked around for the best spot to jump to. He saw a clear spot not too far away, and if he kept up a run and jump pattern, he might be able to make it without setting foot in the goo.
“One...two...three!”
Forcing himself off of the pan with a leap of faith, Spike soared through the air before coming down hard on the ‘kitchen’ floor. It was harder than the other rooms, less bouncy and soft. Instead, it was rubbery, like what he saw in some other kitchens, and his claws on his toes sunk into it for a moment instead of pushing him forward.
Grumbling, he ripped them free and started running at top speed. He made it three steps before he heard another click.
He didn’t dare look back. Instead, he pushed himself harder, faster, running to the edge of the juice puddles before throwing himself through the air again. As he leaped, he heard the sound of another pie pan crashing to the floor behind him.
The ceiling’s trapped, he realized. The floor must have different pressure plates that set off the pies to fall from above. If he wasn’t careful -

He knew the sound, at least. He ran again as soon as he came down, and this time didn’t quite make it. The pie splattered, and some of the fruit came out and hit him in the back. He yowled as he leaped again.
“HOT HOT HOT!”
He ran his hands down his back, trying to push it off, and only getting a moderate success with that. It was so sticky and so syrupy, and if he was normal size and eating it, he would have loved it. As it stood, he had almost been burned, and his back still felt way too hot.
It was against everything that he wanted to do, but Spike forced himself to come to a stop as he landed again. If there were traps in the floor, he needed to find them. If he knew what he was looking for, then he could avoid it, and he wouldn’t be ducking and dodging as much as he already was.
What would the trap look like, though? It was a good question. The floor seemed to be made of exact tiles, each one no bigger and no smaller than the others, and each one a little bit smaller than the pies on the ceiling. It wasn’t all of the tile, obviously; if that was the case, he would have set off a lot more falling pies than he already had. So what -
A ticking sound, barely on the edge of hearing, distracted him. Spike perked up his head, turning it from side to side as he tried to find the source of it. There was no clock in the room, no timer…
Knowing it had to be another trap from Discord, Spike tried to ignore it and keep his attention on the floor. Even as he looked for some sort of different marking on the ground, though, he couldn’t help but be aware of that ticking sound...that slowly growing louder ticking sound…
Ignore it...it’s just Discord playing a trick again, Spike thought, even as his heart started pounding in his chest. He narrowed his eyes at the tiles, shaking his head as it felt like it had gotten a bit darker in the room all of a sudden. But that was impossible. It’d take something big behind him to make that much of a shadow, and he hadn’t heard anything come in. He almost had it; he just needed to -
DIIIIIIIIING!
The sudden ring of a kitchen timer at the volume of the world’s loudest alarm clock made him jump, and as he did, he heard another click. This time, up in the air, he had no way of getting away from it, but it wasn’t a pie coming from the ceiling.
As he looked over his shoulder, he saw what it was. Some giant arm had come out of the floor - almost like the way Discord’s foot had come out of the hallway - and it was swinging a pie down on him like a catapult. He stared at it as it seemed to come down in slow motion, the crust golden brown, the filling a deep red. Cherry? Maybe; it didn’t matter at the speed that it was coming at him.
“Nooooooo!”
His scream didn’t do a thing, as the pie slammed into him and shoved him back down to the floor. The only saving grace was that this one didn’t seem to have a pie pan on the bottom, giving him a chance to ‘swim’ through it and break out through the bottom. Spike pushed himself, hissing a bit at the hot juice filling around him and clinging to his scales, and dug his way up to the flaky bottom of the pie crust.
He had to scratch and bite and claw at it for all he was worth, but soon, he managed to break through the underside. Gasping for breath, he laid himself over the pie, coughing up some of the filling. Cherry. Definitely cherry.
Why? What did I do? Did I just take too long or something?
He didn’t know, and he wasn’t sure that it mattered. Discord was probably making the rules up as he went along, throwing whatever challenges he wanted at Spike, and that left the little dragon having to play catch-up the whole time. He groaned, shaking his head as he laid there, catching his breath. It was probably a bad idea, but there was no way that he could get across the floor yet. He needed a break. He needed -
Crash…

Not that he expected Discord to listen. Spike reluctantly slid further back into the pie, sticking his body into it until only his head was sticking out. It wasn’t much protection, but it was something, and it let him see what was going on around him.
Like last time, a silhouette of a pony appeared in the doorway, and started walking closer and closer. Unlike last time, he knew who it was as soon as he saw the silhouette of her mane, and he shivered.
“Rainbow Dash…”
If the fake Rarity had been selfish instead of generous, he wondered what this one would be like?
It walked in with thunderous hoofbeats, and he saw that the copy was as perfect - and huge - as Rarity had been. He shivered, ducking more of his head back into the pie, and watched as she looked around. Her eyes were shiftier than Rainbow Dash’s ever were, and he started to get an idea of what she was like.
The pony ‘snuck’ along, finding her way to some of the pies on the table. She stuck her head barely over the rim of it, and then bit into each one as she went along. No signs of finishing any of them, just taking a bite out of it so that nobody else could enjoy it. She kept going and going around the table, taking so many bites that Spike thought that her stomach must be fit to burst, until she reached the side of the table nearest him.
Then she looked down at the cherry pie that he was hiding in. She didn’t seem to see him, but he could see her eyes light up the way that she had with every other pie.
Oh, no…
She darted over with her trademark speed, and before Spike could pull himself free, she bit down on the edge of the pie. A large gush of fruit and syrup started flowing out, and the tired little dragon was pulled along with the flow. It felt like he was sliding down a waterfall, a waterfall with a sucking hole at the end of it, and he kicked and screamed as he went.
Most of those screams were turned into bubbles in the syrup, which probably explained why Rainbow Dash didn’t stop slurping the food up as he got closer and closer to her mouth. She chomped and slurped and everything, and he got a close-up view of her teeth and tongue as she pulled him closer and closer by complete accident.
By sheerest luck, he managed to slide past her teeth and onto her tongue, rather than getting chomped. Even so, he realized that he had a different problem. Her throat loomed before him, a great gaping chasm that could swallow him hole. The dragon yelped, whipping around and grabbing hold of the tip of Rainbow’s tongue, holding it tight.

That finally seemed to be enough to get her to give up. Rainbow coughed again, and leaned her head forward. Spit flowed over his back, and Spike went flying out of her mouth - sliding along her tongue all the way - as she got rid of him.
He hit the ground relatively hard, but not quite enough to stun him. Either he was getting better at taking hits, or she hadn’t been as rough as some of the other things in the house. Spike groaned as he pulled himself to his feet, dripping pony drool, as he turned around.
“Thanks for...not eating me.”
“Spike, you think I’m gonna eat you? Nooooo. That’s not something I do. It’s not, you know, cool.”
“Well...you felt like you were trying.”
“Why would I do that? I wouldn’t eat a friend…”
The shifty look was back. Not quite one that was an outright lie, but something that was sneakier, like someone trying to get his trust. Spike wasn’t buying it, not for a second, not for an instant.

He wasn’t paying attention, instead shifting his glance towards the way out. It was only a few dozen steps away. If he could keep her from coming after him, it would be a straight shot to the next room. And he thought he could hear the sound of Discord laughing just down the hall.
