Conversion Backfired: Origins

There was a man known as Igor Lynch, and his name would be the name of evil and death for centuries to come.
Igor Lynch was a man that hated everything with the world. He grew up in New York City, born 0n June 6, 1976, which in it self was a warning sign to many that there was something sinister at work. Yet he had no signs of being the Dark Sorcerer that he would become. But his life was shaped by his home life.
His Father was an abusive drunk and his mother was an drug addict prostitute, which made for a bad life for Igor and also lead to his hatred for humanity. His father was not good at holding jobs and always spent the money he earned on booze. When he came home, he was always drunk and enraged, taking it out on his wife and Igor.
When Igor was nine, his father finally snapped and killed his own wife and was going to kill Igor when the Cops busted into the house and after a ten minute shoot out, arrested Igor's father. Igor was soon put into the system, going from foster home to foster home. Yet he was was to be in the care of the state for many years, even when he was in school.
His mind soon started going, with the events of the murder of his mother, his father in jail and being in foster care had started giving Igor a Nihilist point of view. He saw Human life has nothing but a lie, kindness, friendship, love, all human emotions were lies, that humanity was a sickness that needed wiped out.
in 1990, while on a school camping trip in Upstate New York, he took a walk in the middle of the night, when he saw a sickly green light near a old dead oak tree. He soon found that the light was coming from the ground near the tree, he soon started digging at the spot and uncovered a book, glowing green. as soon as he touched it, he soon felt power flow through them, the power of Dark Magic, Dark Magic that had once been as common to Earth as the common cold.
The book as one of many, a Book of Shadows that was made by Dark Sorcerers who had plans to bring down the Human Race, and Igor Lynch had the First of the Books.
As he held it, a voice in his head soon sounded in his head, giving him a command.........
Find Them, Find them all!
Soon, Igor started looking for the other books, seeing the light of darkness that only he could see. He found them in old book shops, libraries, hidden places, old buildings and other places. Soon, Igor had all of them, all Six Hundred and Sixty Six books. It was then that he soon started studying them, heeding the words of Darkness that had come to him.
He was now a Dark Wizard, the First Magic user in over Five Hundred Years.
It was in the dawn of the 21st Century that he decided that he would bring about the end of Humanity, as he had found a spell, one that would use the Ley Lines of the Planet to cause a Cataclysm that would not only cause the destruction of Humanity, but also bring back the creatures of the Antediluvian World, Not only the magical creatures that lived on Earth, but also the Prehistoric lifeforms of Eras past.
ALL of them, including the Dinosaurs.
He had found one place to cast the spell, the very origin of all the Ley Lines of Earth: Stonehenge in England. It was the very center of the Ley Network, the heart of the Earth. It was there that He would bring about the End of Civilization.
Yet he soon had a problem, there was not enough Magic on Earth, as Magic was all but gone from this world. But yet something was about to bring back the Magic.
In 2010, a landmass suddenly appeared in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. this new Continent was surrounded by a force field that was to be known as 'The Barrier'. That new Land was Equestria. The land was brought over by the powers of the Elements of Harmony to escape their world, which was dying. The rulers; Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, Princess Cadence and Princess Twilight Sparkle, soon came to the human world, claiming to come in peace. But little did humanity and the other three know, Celestia had her own plans. She had seen Humanity and hated them, Not only their war-likeness and ruthlessness, but also their advancements and achievements that her ponies never even got close to doing. She hated Human Technology, Religion, culture and way of life. She wanted to be rid of it and to take Earth for her self.
She started with a covert operation, playing on the fact that some humans wished to change their lot in life, she had Twilight create a Potion that would turn a Human into a Pony. This Potion was soon shown to humanity and was marketed to the disabled, the unfortunate and those that wanted to change as a chance to start a new life as ponies and to move to Equestria.
So started the Conversion Bureaus, which soon appeared in many nations, except for Many Middle Eastern Nations, Israel, Russia, China and other nations that were suspicious of what Celestia had given humanity.
They were right.
The first Potion that Twilight made kept the minds of the ones known as 'new foals' intact, but Celestia decided to tamper with it. The New Foals own minds were changed, brainwashed as Zombies that only worshiped Celestia as a Goddess. This started many to see the Conversion Process as evil and the ponies as evil. This was want Celestia wanted. In Secret, she sent her New Foals to form the P.E.R (Ponification for Earth's Rebirth), which soon started using pre-made 'Potion Bombs' in terrorist attacks. This lead to the creation of the Anti-Pony Human Liberation Front, which attacked the Conversion Bureaus around the world.
All was going as Celestia had planned.
Soon the Barrier started growing, destroying anything that humans created. This soon lead the world to united and Declare war on Equestria. This started the Conversion War.
But another had been watching.
Igor Lynch saw that his chance was now. The Books had shown that the Barrier would be the perfect thing to jump start the Ley Line Network and to help in the spell to destroy Mankind. He also soon found out that there were other books in Equestria that also held Dark Magic, enough to help in his plan.
Creating his own version of the Potion, he soon started seeking out these things, so that he would bring about the end of the World. He would not only Destroy Humanity.................but Ponykind as well.
