Chapters Shark Attack In Canterlot Bay
June 30th.
“Seriously? That’s a whole load of bullshit.” Rainbow Dash says as she plays her video game. She brought it over for her and Applejack to play on while they chat about the trip last month.
“Rainbow, I’m tellin’ ya. Those two sharks almost killed us. Not to mention that thirty foot one that him and I killed.
“Oh please. There’s no way a great white can grow that big, Applejack. You must’ve watched Jaws too much.” Rainbow compliments as she continues to play her game.
“Rainbow, I’m tellin’ ya. You can ask him. He seen it. He almost got killed by them sharks.”
“Oh please.” Dash says as she starts to blush a little after thinking about you. “So… You haven’t told him about me yet, have you?” She asks as she has that nervous look in her eyes.
Applejack sighs as she looks into her friend’s eyes.
“Rainbow Dash, I-”
Applejack was interrupted by a door opening. You walk in on them.
“Hey guys.” You said sitting on the bed. Twilight walks in as she stands right beside you.
“Hey ya’ll.”
“Hey Twilight.”
“Hi Rainbow Dash. Hi Applejack.” Twilight greets.
“What brings you here, Twi?” Applejack asks as she takes a sip of her soda.
“Eh, he brought me here to hang out with you guys.” She finishes as she sits down on the bed right beside you.
“So, wha’cha doing here, Rainbow Dash?” Twilight asks.
“Well… Applejack’s been telling me about that trip last month that him and Aj took.” Rainbow Dash comes in.
“Oh yeeah. Where you two almost got killed by those sharks?” Twilight asks as she looks at you. You sigh. You hate talking about the trip.
“Yeah. Except I almost became a meal for them. I’m surprised Applejack didn’t get chased by one of them.” You said as you cringe at the feeling of almost being eaten. “Remember that giant shark they had, Applejack?”
“That thirty footer? Yeah, I still remember that one. I still can’t get over on how it almost killed you.”
Twilight starts laughing hard as she heard something about a thirty foot shark.
“See? Told you. Even Twilight thinks it’s funny.” Rainbow adds in.
“A thirty foot shark? You can’t be serious! Are you saying that a whale shark attacked you?” Twilight couldn’t stop laughing so much that she thinks it really was a whale shark that almost killed both you and Aj.
Twilight finally calms down as you have a very serious, not to mention scared look on your face. Same with Applejack.
“It… Was a whale shark, right? Those sharks and other filter feeder sharks grow much bigger.” Twilight states as she sits up right.
“Nope. A great white.” Was your only response.
“Um… It can’t be.” Twilight comes in.
“Dude. I’ve watched tv before. Great whites don’t get that big. They grow up to what, twenty feet?” Dash comes in.
“No, I’m serious! This shark was thirty fucking feet! I’ve never seen a meat eating shark that big, and that terrifying in my entire life! You can ask Applejack!” You finish. When Applejack would reply.
“It’s true.”
“Oh come on!” Rainbow Dash screams. “There’s no way in living hell a great white shark can grow that big! If it did, it would’ve been a different kind of shark that probably wasn’t even discovered yet!” She gets up and walks out the door. “I’m gonna get some yogurt.”
The rest of you hanged out for a bit as silence is in the room for a little bit. As Twilight breaks the silence.
“So… What do you guys wanna do today?”
“Well, I was planning we could stop by Hay Burger and hang out.” Applejack says.
“Good idea.” You said as you look at your phone for the time.
Twelve o’ clock. It feels like several minutes since you arrived to Applejack’s this morning. Since that it’s summer vacation from school. You don’t have to worry about anything for two more months.
“Hey guys! You should come look at this!” You hear Dash from downstairs.
Reaching the bottom of the stairs you noticed Rainbow Dash’s watching the news while holding her yogurt in her hand.
“Late last night. Four people were killed as a fishing boat was attacked and sunk in Canterlot Bay. Nobody knows what caused this boat to sink and kill those four people on board. Reporters say that it could’ve been a whales tale fin that mistakenly caused the boat to sink. However, those people, and the boat were never found.” The news reporter said.
“Wow.” Was your response. “It doesn’t look like a whale to me that caused that boat to sink and killed those people.” You said as if it’s what you guessed.
“I have a feeling it’s something else than just a whale. I think I know where you’re going with it.” Applejack agrees.
Twilight steps closer to the tv. There’s no video of the boat being sunk. However, there are pictures of what the boat looked like, and the people that died on it.
“Yeah. We all could guess on what it was. But, there’s no full evidence that a whale actually did this.” Twilight said as she points at the tv.
“Yeah. Anyways, let’s see what’s on.” Said Rainbow as she sat on the couch and flips through the channels.
“Good idea.” You said as you sat beside Rainbow. She’s completely frozen as she felt your weight. You forgot that Rainbow has a crush on you. But, it didn’t really bother you.

The evening rolls in as you, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, and Twilight are walking on the beach. You’re not in bathing suits. But, just short sleeve shirts and shorts so it doesn’t get too hot for you on the early days of July.
You also noticed you’re on the beach of the bay. But, lucky for you. The dock where you left to go to that laboratory last month is only fifteen to twenty miles away from where you’re at. Even now the acts of your last day there haunts you, like a poltergeist tormenting those in its home.
“So you’re saying that Pinkie Pie is baking some new cupcakes that she has for her new recipe?” Rainbow Dash asks.
“Yup” Applejack said in her own Big Mac words. “She’s been braggin’ ‘bout it since school ended for the summer. She was gonna throw an end of the school year party. But, it was already too late. So, in a few days. She’ll have those cupcakes ready. That’s what she told me”
“Oh yeah, the fourth of July’s in a few days.” Twilight remembers.
As the others continued to talk something at the end of the beach caught your attention. From the looks of things it had washed up on the shore, how long it had been there with the water lapping away at it you couldn’t tell.
“That’s right. She wants this party to be great. Since that she’s workin’ hard to bake them cupcakes.” Applejack says as Rainbow Dash sees you running towards that object that they don’t notice.
“What’s he doing?”
“I dunno.” Applejack replies.
You stop right in front of the object. You picked it up as you noticed it’s… A camera? Applejack, Rainbow Dash and Twilight come up behind you.
“Hey! What are you doing?” Twilight asks.
“I found this washed up. Look at it.” You said as you showed them the camera. You doubt that it still works from how long it’s been in the water. When you pressed the power button. Yup, figured so.
“Does it work?” Applejack asks.
“Just tried it. Nothing.” Was your only response. Until you opened a compartment. When there’s a small tape in there. “Hey, look.” You said as you pull out the video tape. “The tape’s still in here.”
Twilight walks up to you and you hand her the video tape. It could have water damage inside and out.
“You think you can fix it?” You asked her.
“I’ll see what I can do.” Twilight responds as she gawks at the damaged equipment. “But, from how long it’s been in the water I’m not sure if it’ll work or not. I can give it a try though. I’ll see if I can get the camera working too.”
“Alright.” Was your only response.
You all took the camera as Twilight takes a closer look at it. “This camera might need some repairs since it’s suffered water damage. If it doesn’t work. Consider it useless.”
“Alright. You are great at this mechanic stuff, Twilight. We hope you can get this worked out.” You said as you looked at the time on your phone. “Shit, better get home.” You said as you noticed the sun’s starting to set.
“Yeah, we better get home too.” Applejack says as her and Rainbow Dash go in the direction where their houses are.
“I promise. I’ll see what I can do to get this video playing!” Twilight says as she starts to walk home.
“Alright Twilight! Let us know what you got!” You said as you start to walk home.
Shark Attack In Canterlot Bay
July 1st.
The Next Morning. 8:00 AM.
It’s the very next morning. You just got ready since you’re planning on heading to Applejack’s as soon as she wakes up. You’re sitting in the living room, watching tv as you’re trying to see what’s on.
“Ugh! There’s nothing on!” You groan in annoyment as you turn off the tv. It hasn’t been long as you’re just sitting on the couch, being bored. When you’re getting a call.
“Hello?” You answered. When you realized it’s Twilight.
“Oh, sorry. I didn’t wake you up, did I?” She asked through the phone.
“Nah, I’ve been up for an hour actually.” You said taking a sip of your soda.
“Oh, okay. Anyways, I got the video working.”
“What video?”
“The video from the camera you found on the beach yesterday?” Twilight explains. Your eyes go wide as you heard that. “The camera doesn’t work anymore. It suffered so much water damage. But, the tapes working. You gotta come see this.”
“You’re kidding! I’ll be right over!” You said as you and Twilight both hanged up as you’re now on your way to Twilight’s house.

*Knock* *Knock* *Knock*
You knocked on the door three times as you’re waiting on Twilight’s front door. She opens the door as she greets you.
“Hey, you’re here a little early.” She says as she chuckles.
“Heh, yeah. I’m like that sometimes.” You chuckled in your response.
“Heheh, alright. Anyways, you really need to come look at this. I’ve never seen anything like it.” Twilight says as she let you in.
You follow her upstairs to her room. You suddenly noticed that both Applejack and Rainbow Dash are here too.
“Oh howdy, sugarcube.” Applejack greets you.
“Hey, what’s up?” You said as you took a seat.
“Just watching this video. You’ll be very surprised once you see it.” Rainbow Dash says as Twilight begins the tape on her computer.
The video suddenly starts playing as you noticed there’s four people climbing on board a boat. Two males and two females. As the tape continues playing your jaw slowly dropps as you realize something.
“Hey, that’s the boat from yesterday’s news.” You claim in disbelief of what you see.
“I know, right? Pretty shocking, huh?” Twilight says as you all stare back at the monitor.
Thirty minutes have passed in the video as they’re now heading into the bay. It’s still broad daylight as they’re all out having a good time.
Another few minutes later. They stopped as they get their fishing gear set up.
“Huh. Must be fishers.” You mumbled to yourself as you noticed from the corner of your eye.
Rainbow Dash slowly scoots to you. Each time you look at her, she stops and her eyes focus on the screen. Until she’s right next to you.
You didn’t care anymore as you groaned loudly in your mind.
‘God dammit! Why?!?’ You think to yourself as your eyes focus back on the screen.
You have noticed those four people on the boat are just taking selfies, and having a good time. When they shut off the camera for a second. Until…
“Okay, so… Fishhunter just caught something! We’re about to go find out!” One of the girls said excitedly through the camera.
You hear the other female’s voice as well in the background, “I’m so excited to see what he caught!”
“Me too!”
Said the two girls as they approached him. He’s groaning as he’s trying his best to reel in the big fish he must’ve caught.
“Goddamn, this is a big one!” He groans as Fishhunter’s trying to reel in the big, heavy fish in the video.
“Talltale, help me out!” Fishhunter said as the other guy helps him trying to pull the line.
“Hold on now, I got a very big fish here!” Fishhunter shouts through the video.
“I don’t think so.” You mumbled as you’re a bit nervous on what it is.
Twilight pauses the video and she speaks.
“Okay, him reeling it in takes about two hours. So, I’m gonna speed it up so you won’t get bored.” She demonstrates.
“Alright. Thanks for that.” You said as Twilight speeds up the video sixteen times. It’s now dark in the video as she hits play again.
It wasn’t long when after she hits play. Fishhunter’s line had broke and causing him to fall on the floor.
“GOD DAMMIT! I ALMOST HAD IT!!” You hear him yell in the video.
“Well shit.” Talltale said as everyone else is disappointed that the fish got away.
All of a sudden. A very loud bang was heard, and it came from the boat. Everyone freezes for a second. You did too as soon as you heard it. Your heart starts pounding.
“Shh, shh.” Fishhunter says. “You hear that?”
“What is that?” Said one of the girls in the video.
Suddenly…
*BANG*
One very loud bang made you jump back. One of the girls lets go of the camera and falls to the floor as water begins splashing all over the boat. They start screaming and panicking as the boat starts to sink.
Your eyes go wide at the sight in front of you of what’s going on. Or what happened.
Suddenly, the camera starts glitching out, and shuts off. Probably from the water damage it suffered over night.
“Oh my god.” You mumbled as Twilight turned the lights back on.
“Yeah. It scared us too.” She said as you noticed Rainbow’s holding you close. Is she scared?
“Uh… You okay, Dash?” You asked her.
“Oh, yeah. Sorry. I uh…” She said as she blushes and looks away. You didn’t even both saying anything.
“Also, check this out.” Applejack says as she turns on the video before the boat was rammed by something. “If you noticed… I don’t see no whale’s tale in the shot. Do you?” Applejack asks you all as the three of you looked at the monitor. You also noticed… Everyone’s at the stern of the boat.
“True. Could it come from underneath?” You ask.
“Good point.” Applejack explains.
“I got an idea.” Twilight says as she opens something up on her computer. “Since it’s hard to hear what they’re saying. You can see that they have a light on to see better outside when it’s dark. So… This is an audio mixer. It allows me to mix out the audio to hear what people are saying. Give me a minute to concentrate.” Twilight says as she puts on some headphones and gets to it. “Oh, one more thing. There’s some soda in the fridge downstairs in case you guys need any.”
“Thanks Twilight.” You said as you went downstairs to get one. Rainbow Dash and Applejack follows you as you all let Twilight concentrate.
“Damn, that was really something.” You said as you got yourself a coke. Dash and Aj grab themselves a coke as well.
“Yeah. I never knew somethin’ like that would scare me that good.” Applejack said as she opens her can and takes a sip.
“Yeah. At least… Someone was there to protect me.” Rainbow Dash said as she got closer to you.
“Okay, I’m not sure what’s gotten into you, Dash.” You chuckled as you just stood still. “Seriously though, what was that?”
“We have no idea. There’s no way it could be a whale. Whales don’t crash boats, do they?” Applejack asks.
“And isn’t it rare for a whale to swim in Canterlot bay?” Rainbow Dash asks.
“I don’t think so. I use to see dolphins all the time when I’m boat riding with my dad. A whale? Well, it actually depends on how big it is. I’ve only seen one or two so far.”
“What kind were they?” Applejack asked.
“A sperm whale, and a beluga whale.” Was your response.
“Hey guys! You should come and take a listen to this!” You hear Twilight calling from the floor above.
You all ran upstairs as you see Twilight with a frightened look on her face.
“What is it, Twi?” Applejack asks as she approaches Twilight. She hands Applejack the headphones.
“Take a listen. You’re gonna be surprised.” Twilight mumbled as Applejack takes her hat off for a second, putting on the headphones she waits for Twilight to start playing the audio from the video.
Knowing you can’t hear a thing, you and Rainbow Dash take a seat as you look at Applejack as she listens to the audio. It wasn’t long when her face turns into fright. She quickly takes off the headphones as she’s shaking down to the bone.
“What is it?” Rainbow Dash asks as Applejack hands her the headphones.
Rainbow Dash also takes a listen. Her face becomes frightened as well. Now… It’s your turn to take a listen.
“I got a bad feeling about this.” You said as you took the headphones from Rainbow Dash.
As you put them on, you nod your head to Twilight. Giving her a cue to hit play. Twilight hits play as you can hear the people screaming and panicking. But, what you just heard… Scared you for life.
“OH MY GOD, SHARK!”
As you heard one of the girls in the audio say that. Your eyes go wide and you quickly take off the headphones and threw them back on Twilight’s desk.
You feel so frightened on what you heard. It makes you think of what happened back in that laboratory last month.
“Holy shit.” You mumbled.
“Yeah, it scared me half to death too.” Twilight responds as she takes out the tape.
“So… It was a shark that attacked that boat?” Rainbow Dash asked as you and Applejack looked at each other in fright.
“I believe so. But, that boat’s huge. You think a great white can take down a boat that size? I mean, a full grown great white can take days, if not weeks to take down a boat that size.” Twilight said as she looked at the video.
You and Applejack looked at each other. You’re just shocked that something like this could happen again. Except you think it’s too soon for something like this to happen.
“I think we should see what happened to that boat.” Twilight says which grabs your attention along with Applejack’s.
“Uh… Say what?” You said to Twilight.
“That’s right. If a shark took down a boat this size, then we’re on to something big. It could be a great white by my guest. But, I’m just saying. If we wanna know what type of shark did this. We have to look at the boat that it sunk.”
“Oh my god.” Was only your response.
“And how are you gonna get a sub? It’s like two thousand feet to the bottom of the bay.” Applejack reminds Twilight.
“True. But, I know somebody who can loan us a sub. Shining Armor and Cadence knows who the guy is. The sooner we go there, the sooner we can look at what happened.” Twilight says as she gets up out of her seat. “We leave at noon. Be prepared to get something for your stomach after lunch if you’re sea sick.”
Twilight and Rainbow Dash walk out the door. Leaving you and Applejack behind in the room.
“I can’t do this.” You said as you feel very scared. “Why do we have to do this? It was just a fucking shark attacking a boat.”
“I dunno.” Applejack replies. “I hate to go back in the water too after what you and I went through. But, you know how Twi can be when it comes to stuff like this. It’s almost like Pinkie Pie, except it could be about us not going to where she invites us.” Applejack says as she gets up from her seat.
“I got a bad feeling about this.” You said as you got up and follow them.
Shark Attack In Canterlot Bay
It’s almost one o'clock and you, Applejack, and Twilight are at the docks of Canterlot harbor with Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, Sunset Shimmer, and Rarity. You’re all just standing there as you’re waiting for someone to help you out in needing of a boat, or a tiny submarine.
They have some small submarines. Big enough to fit ten people at once inside.
“I’m not sure about this.” Rarity says as she plays with her hair a bit.
“But, we’ll get to see all the pretty fish.” Fluttershy response. “Oh how I always wanted to see the fish. Especially those cute baby sharks.”
“Oh, oh, oh! Do we get to see the sharks, and the whales? Oh I’m so, so, so, SO excited!” Pinkie screams up and down.
‘I swear, that girl’s crazy.’ You think to yourself.
“Are you sure this is the place, Twilight?” Rainbow Dash asked Twilight in a whisper.
“Yes, Rainbow Dash, I’m sure.” Twilight says in frustration.
“Hello there!” You hear a guy’s voice from behind you.
You look back to see who’s standing there. There, is a man. Who looks to be in his early to mid thirties. He has on a white coat that looks so familiar to you.
He has a dark brown hair with orange skin. “Greetings everyone. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Doctor Cyclone. What can I do for you kids?” He asks giving your group a quick look over.
“We’re here to see if you have a submarine for all of us.” Twilight responded. “We’re here to see if you can find the boat that was wrecked a few days ago?”
“Ah yes. I think I know which one you’re talking about. It’s only a mile and a half off shore. I can take you there. Oh, and please to meet you again, Twilight.” Doctor Cyclone says as he shakes Twilight’s hand.
“Wait, you know this guy?” You ask Twilight.
“Yup. He use to work at some type of laboratory a long time ago until he got fired. I can’t remember where, nor why. But, Shining Armor knew him after he got hired there.
A laboratory? You’re starting to think about that. Could he be worked at… No, no he couldn’t have. There’s a ton of different laboratories around the world. He could work at any one of those.
“Alright everyone. The sub’s ready.” Doctor Cyclone says as you and everyone else gets in.
“Oh I can’t wait to see the fishies.” Fluttershy says as she enters the sub. While Rarity shutters.
“The ocean’s not my thing at all. I rather go swimming in it or lay out in the sun.” Rarity dramatically groans as she enters the sub.
As soon as everyone gets in. Doctor Cyclone shuts the door.
“Well, here we go.” Sunset Shimmer says as she looks out the sub window.
Doctor Cyclone soon starts the sub, and you’re off to go see the wreckage of the fishing boat.

Only about an hour passes as something shows up on the radar.
“Alright, we’re finally here. Lets dive!” Doctor Cyclone says as the sub starts diving down into the depths of the bay.You’re starting to get a little nervous as to what would happen if a giant creature came in and attacked the sub.
Only ten minutes have passed as you’re almost at the bottom of the bay.
“Alright, this looks like the place.” Doctor Cyclone says as something starts to appear from the darkness.
You all begin to look out the giant windshield as you can just barely see something white.
“Can you turn on the headlights?” Applejack asks as Doctor Cyclone flipped a switch.
There… Is the boat. It’s broken into various pieces.All of your eyes go wide as you can’t believe what you’re seeing.
“Holy shit.” You mumbled.
“What the fuck?” Sunset Shimmer pops in.
“Oh my god.” Twilight comes in as well.
Doctor Cyclone just stays silent as he stares at the wreckage.
“Damn. What happened?” You asked as you’re now wanting to know what really happened. Until… You spotted something hiding in the sand right next to the boat. “Hey, does this sub have arms?” You asked.
“Yes it does, why?” Doctor Cyclone asks.
“There’s something in the sand right there.” You said pointing at it.”I’m not sure if it’s a piece to the boat or what. But, can you dig it out?”
“Sure. Give me a second to bring out the arms.” Doctor Cyclone said as he begins to move the sub in position, while the arms slowly extend out.
He begins to slowly, and carefully dig out the object hiding in the sand.
After one minute of carefully clearing it off. “Got it.”
He slowly picks up the object, and… Wait, is that… A shark tooth? Because if it is, it looks like it doesn’t look that old. It looks like it just came out of a shark. That tooth has to be seven inches in length.
“Holy shit.” You hear Applejack mumbled as she sees the tooth.
“That thing is huge.” Rainbow Dash said as she can see the tooth.
If that tooth isn’t that old at all. That must mean it’s a very bad sign.
“Is there a way to bring that thing in?” You ask Doctor Cyclone.
“Yeah, hang on.” He says as he brings the tooth underneath the sub.
It suddenly shows up in a small pocket of water, then the water drains, and the pouch is now ready to open. You opened the pouch and took a look at this huge shark tooth.
“Does anyone have a great white tooth?” You asked.
“Here! I got one!” Applejack says as she pulls one out. “Heh, while we was at that laboratory last month. I sorta grabbed one.” You don’t want to know why she did that in the first place but you’re grateful none the less.
You line up the great white tooth next to the other shark tooth. As soon as you line it up, there is a very big difference between the two.
One’s smaller, and one’s bigger. This must mean one thing that could have attacked this boat. Megalodon.
“Man, that tooth is huge!” Fluttershy said in surprise as she looks at it. “Could that be from a shark?”
“It is.” You said in silence. “This tooth looks like it just came from a shark. Look at it.” You said as you showed the others.
You didn’t want to believe it as you keep staring at it. You want to think it has to be a few million years old.
“Yeah, it kinda does.” Twilight said as she looks at it.
You’re still shocked from how big, yet how early it must be for a tooth that size to be dug out from the bottom of the ocean. You start to look outside as you keep thinking something might come in.
“Can we get outta here?” You ask. “I’m getting a little scared now.” You hate to admit it.
But you really do. Especially the others are a little nervous. But Doctor Cyclone, however. He doesn’t have a speck of nervousness in his eyes whatsoever.

Finally, you all reached the docks with the submarine as you all stepped out quick. You took another look at the shark tooth as you’re still shaking. You kept thinking that a giant shark might be roaming around the bay. You really don’t want to believe that.
“Are you okay?” Sunset Shimmer asks as she walked up behind you, her footsteps the only clear sign as to how close she was getting to you.
“I don’t know.” Was your only response. “I really don’t know. I mean… A megalodon can’t be swimming here at this time, right?” You asked hoping to be right. “It has to be extinct! They died about two million years ago! Look at the tooth!” You said as you showing her the tooth as she takes it in her hand. “Please tell me that’s a million year old tooth!”
“Hey, calm down.” Twilight said as she kneeled down and places her hand on your shoulder. “I’ll find this out myself how old that tooth is. If I get anything, I’ll let you know. But listen. You said you and Applejack killed a thirty foot shark last month, right?” Twilight asks.
“Yeah, yeah we did.” You said as Applejack stands beside you.
“Why? What’re you plannin’, Twi?” Applejack asks as Twilight gets on her feet. She takes a deep breath to calm her nerves.
“I hate to say this. But…” She looks at you dead in the eye. “I wanna go there.”
Your eyes widen in shock. Did she just say what you think she said?
“No. No no no no no no, I’m not going back over there.” You said as you backed up a little bit. “Why do you wanna go over there?”
“Lets face it. If there was a thirty foot shark that you both killed roaming in the waters. That means there might be a shark as big as three busses roaming here. Also, if you wanna find out how old that tooth is. I really need to do more research. All I need is a blood sample of the shark you two killed to see if the megalodon survived or not.” Twilight explained. “So… You think you both can help me on this?”
You’re still not sure about this. You really hate to go back there again after what you and Applejack have went through last month. Until you let out a sigh. You can’t believe you’re saying this.
“Alright.”
Twilight helps you up on your feet.
“We’ll do whatever we can, Twi.” Applejack says as you and Twilight get a boat. This time… You’re going alone.

Twilight speeds up the boat as fast as she can so it won’t take thirty minutes like it did last time. She knows how much you hate doing this. But, better be safe than sorry. You just lay on the floor. Not even bothering to look down at the water.
“Is that the place?!” Twilight asks trying to scream through the boat’s motor.
Applejack looked straight ahead as she can see the beat up rig slowly closing in.
“Yes! We’re almost there!” Applejack yelled through the boat’s loud motor.
Finally, the three of you reached the dock of the old laboratory. Letting out a harsh gulp as you sat up staring at the nightmare that taunted you by simply being there. Hating to be here from what happened last month, you wished for this day to come to an end.
Twilight and Applejack put on their diving gear as you didn’t look at them. You’re lucky they’re still wearing their other clothing underneath as they change. But, you’re just lost as you keep seeing the horrifying sharks in your mind.
“Well, what’re you wait’n for, sugarcube?” Applejack asks as she hands you a diving suit,and a scuba tank.
“Are you sure this is necessary? I mean, shouldn’t we have a diving license?” You asked as you stripped down to your underwear, and quickly put on the diving suit as fast as you can.
While Twilight and Applejack giggle.
“What?” You said as you fallen from trying to put on the suit.
“Oh nothing.” Twilight said as her and Applejack both stare at you.
You soon got the diving suit on and walked to the edge of the boat. Everyone in the present company proceeded to put on their flippers. Shortly followed by the swimming masks, and strapping the tanks to your backs while checking to ensure they are secure.
“Okay, now you two have to lead me to wherever they kept the stuff for the sharks blood cells, teeth, or anything. Now, you said this place is sunk, right?” Twilight asks.
“Yup, sharks destroyed the whole place before him and I killed them both.” Applejack responds as she puts on her diving mask.
“Right, how big was the other shark again? You said there was… A fourteen footer, right?” Twilight asks.
“Fifteen footer.” Was your response.
“Alright.” Twilight said as she tied the boat to the dock. “Let’s go.” Her and Applejack puts on the oxygen respirator to their mouths and they both dive in.
“I can’t believe I’m doing this.” You mumbled to yourself as you put on your diving mask, and respirator into your mouth and dive in with them.
You follow them under the water into the hole in the fence where that giant thirty foot female made while she was trying to escape.
You two soon entered a broken window that’s large enough to fit the three of you one by one. While Applejack leads Twilight to the laboratory room while you stay behind. You can see fish almost everywhere.
Not to mention some small sharks in the lab as well. You felt scared whenever you would see a small shark. But, they didn’t bother you one bit.
Until another small shark came to Applejack. It passes her, then Twilight. They both looked back as it slowed down in front of you. You begin freaking out.
But, the shark doesn’t bite. The shark soon slows down even more as it continues swimming around you. Rubbing itself all over you.
You’re wondering if you can touch it. You take your hand out to the three foot reef shark and start patting it on the nose. Surprisingly, the shark actually takes it. Applejack and Twilight just watch as you continue to pet the reef shark.
You all continued to head to the laboratory as the reef shark begins to follow you. Acting like a dog as you would pet it’s nose.
Finally, Applejack leads Twilight to the laboratory where you killed the fifteen footer. As you look, you all suddenly freak out that the shark’s skeleton is remaining there. Slowly rotting away as it still sits there.
Applejack points at a locker while you can still see the reef shark swimming around you three. Probably begging to be petted. Twilight soon pets the shark on the snout as the shark took it a little bit. Then it swims to Applejack as she does the same.
Twilight finds something to open the locker door as the shark swims to you. Then slows down as it reaches you. You continue to play with the little shark as Twilight gets the results she needs.

Finally, you all head back to the outside. You’re a bit sad that the little shark as to leave. While you’re swimming to the boat and heading to the surface. A great white shark appears right beside you.
This seventeen foot beast spots you as you begin to freak out. Twilight and Applejack froze as they don’t know what to do. The shark examines you for a little bit until it swims away.
You just got lucky you weren’t food to that shark. You soon swim up to the surface and quickly get in the boat.
“Are you okay?” Applejack asks as she tries to comfort you.
“Goddamn that shark scared me to death.” You said shaking. “It was so huge.” Twilight tries to comfort you as well.
“Damn, I’m really sorry about that. What about that other shark we played with back there?” Twilight asked.
“That was just a reef shark. Those are different. But, that great white…” You said with a fright expression on your face.
“Hey, just be happy that one wasn’t part of the sharks that almost killed us.” Applejack said as you calmed down a bit.
“True.” Was your only response.
“Okay, at least we got the stuff we need to see if that giant shark is out there. Come on! We’re going home!” Twilight said as you both grab a seat and race to home.

Three hours have passed as you three came from the destroyed laboratory. You and Applejack are just sitting outside Twilight’s room while she concentrates on what you might be on to. You keep crossing your fingers. Hoping a giant megalodon isn’t roaming in the bay.
“You alright?” Applejack asks you as she puts an arm on your back to comfort you.
“I don’t know.” You said as you have no idea what you was thinking ever since you handed Twilight that giant megalodon tooth.
“Well, I’m sure there isn’t a shark that big roaming around here, sugarcube. I know it isn’t what you think. I bet you it isn’t.” Applejack said.
“My god I hope you’re right.”
As soon as you said that. You hear the door open. Twilight comes out with a piece of paper in her hand. She has a scared expression on her face. This isn’t a good sign.
“Anything?” Applejack asks.
“Well… You’re gonna hate me on this.” Twilight said as she hands Applejack the paper. Applejack’s eyes widen up.
“Oh no.”
“What, what is it?” You asked.
Applejack and Twilight looked at you with a scared expression on their faces.
When Twilight finally speaks up. “It’s out there.”
Your eyes widen up. You snatched the paper from Applejack’s hands. She didn’t care about that. You look at the paper.
“Oh my god. It’s… It’s really out there?” You asked.
Twilight nods her head, and she hands you back the shark tooth she used.
“This tooth is several days old. I wish you’re wrong, but… You’re not.” Twilight said as she sat beside you. “That megalodon did attack that boat. We’re onto a big one.” Twilight tells you. “And that’s not all. You remember the thirty foot shark you two killed at that laboratory down there?”
“Yeah?” Applejack asks. “What about it?”
“Well…” Twilight says as she twirled her thumbs. “Let’s say… This shark’s the mother.” Both you and Applejack’s eyes widen as you heard that.
“So… We killed an infant megalodon?” You asked in surprise as Twilight nods her head. “Oh my god. No, that’s… That’s impossible. Megalodon can’t be around today. No way.”
“I’m sorry. I wish I can think of the same thing too.” Twilight said to you.
“This is bad. This is really bad.” You said as you begin to go into panic mode.
“Hey,” Applejack said grabbing your attention. “We won’t know until we see it, right? I mean, I actually don’t believe that myself because that shark died out… How long ago?”
“Almost two million years ago.” You respond.
“Right.” Applejack said as she stands up. “So… I like to see if Twilight’s right or not.”
“Are you insane?” You asked Applejack. “That fucker can swallow you whole. Plus, it’s fucking larger than a great white. Why would you do this for?”
“Like I said. To see if Twilight’s right.” Applejack responded to your answer.
Shark Attack In Canterlot Bay
July 2nd.
The next day has arrived as you, Applejack, Twilight and the others are standing on the beach while everyone’s swimming.
“I’m telling you, Fluttershy! That shark’s so big, it can swallow you whole!” You said to her.
“Hmph.” Fluttershy turns her head as she doesn’t believe you one little bit.
“Please, Fluttershy! You have to believe me!” You begged her.
“Oh please. That shark is just a little baby who’s just swimming around like the one you saw out there yesterday!” Fluttershy said as she looks at you with a cold glare.
‘Is she saying she can handle this beast?’ You think to yourself.
“I think you’re just scared a poor baby shark will just kill us? Well you’re wrong! It’s just a poor baby shark looking for a home. Perhaps a friend?” She said.
You pull out the megalodon tooth that you and the others found yesterday and showed it to Fluttershy.
“Does this look like it came from a baby shark to you?” You asked her. But, your only response is Fluttershy taking your hand, and letting it down while she looks at you in the eye.
“Baby… Shark.”
You hit your face with your hand and let out a frustrated sigh. While you put the tooth back in your pocket.
“Alright, fine. But, if you see a giant eighty foot shark jump out of the water. Don’t come crying to me.” You said as you start walking to Applejack and Twilight. While Rarity, Sunset Shimmer, Pinkie Pie, and Rainbow Dash are relaxing under the sun.
“I swear, is Fluttershy always like this when I’m not around?” You asked them.
“I don’t think so.” Twilight said looking at her. “What makes you say that?”
“She thinks this giant shark is just a ‘baby’ looking for a home or a friend.” You said to her.
“Well, that’s Fluttershy for ya.” Applejack responded as she crossed her arms.
“Yeah, I bet.” You mumbled as you turned around and crossed your arms while you just look at the swimmers, and the distance of the bay. You suddenly hear your name being called out. You look over to see that it’s Rainbow Dash is calling you.
“Oh my god.” You said as your cheeks start to turn red. You let out a groan as you start walking over there.
“What is it Rainbow Dash?” You asked as you’re sitting down beside her.
“Why are you still wearing your shirt?” She asks as you have on a white t-shirt with your swimming trunks.
“Because I don’t wanna swim yet?” You said.
“Oh, alright.” She said as she turns to her back with her swimsuit. You hear her let out a giggle as she spotted you looking at her.
‘I swear, Dashie.’ You think to yourself. She is cute. You have to admit. But, you just don’t like her that way.
“OH MY GOD!”
“EVERYONE OUT OF THE WATER!”
“What the hell?” You mumbled as you stand up. You see people running out of the water and you ran to Twilight and Applejack.
“What happened?” You asked them.
“A whale got taken under!” Twilight responded.
“A whale?”
You look out in the distance as you see a giant puddle of blood just in the deeper water. You see a whale surface. But, you can’t hear it moan in pain. All of a sudden… A giant shark comes out from the depths. It jumps out of the water probably twenty feet or so, and it takes the helpless whale under.
That was megalodon.
Twilight was right. A giant megalodon is roaming in the bay.
“Oh my god.” You mumbled as you couldn’t believe what you just saw.
Looking over at Fluttershy, you notice her shaking very badly at what she just witnessed as well. You walk up to her and rub her shoulder.
“You believe me now?” You asked her trying not to come off as an ‘I told you so’, while she nods her head in silence.
“What happened?!” Rainbow Dash asked.
“What’s going on?!” Sunset Shimmer immediately comes in after Dash.
“What happened?” Rarity asked.
You just stare out in the distance where the giant megalodon took the whale underwater with it.
Turning to walk past them you groan knowing what you have to do. “We need to see Doctor Cyclone.”

Five to ten minutes have passed as you all ran to Doctor Cyclone.
“Doctor Cyclone!” You and Twilight called out to him.
“Ah…Nice to see you kids again. What can I-”
“IT’S REAL!” You and Twilight screamed together.
“I’m sorry?” Doctor Cyclone responded.
“The megalodon… Is real.” Twilight said trying to catch her breath.
“We just saw it take down a whale from the beach!” You said to him.
“Oh, so that’s what I saw over there.” He says.
“How is that shark still alive? I thought it died out a million and a quarter years ago.” You asked.
“It actually could be possible for a shark that big to exist, actually.” He said as he looks at his watch.
“Damn, I really can’t believe it’s real!” You said as you suddenly get an idea. “Is there a way to kill it?”
“I have no idea.” Doctor Cyclone responded. “The shark’s too big and too powerful. There’s no way to kill it.” He said when you try to think.
You have remembered the dynamite spear you and Applejack used against the thirty foot infant last month. Sadly this shark is much bigger and you knew that plan was out the window, and began hoping for a better way.
“I got an idea.” You said grabbing everyone’s attention. “What if we can get a speedboat, and we place it in the shark’s mouth? A shark’s mouth that big is really huge, right? Could a speed boat fit in its mouth?”
Everyone looked at you as if they may think you’re right.
“I think it should. But, how can we kill it with a speed boat?” Twilight asks you.
“With some explosives.” You said as you spotted a speedboat on a dock. “We can place the explosives on the motor of the boat. That way, when the shark bites it. Those bombs would detonate as soon as the shark tries to takes it under.” You demonstrate.
“I think that could work.”Applejack responds.
But, you see Doctor Cyclone with a cold expression on his face.
“What do you think, Cyclone?” You ask him as everyone else looks at him.
“It could work, if done right.” He groans as his head begins to hang while he paces back and forth, “If set to either a timer, or remote to ensure they go off. Perhaps...” He trails off listing a few options he felt was best suited for this plan.
Everyone looks at him hoping for the best. Looking around his lab for a few things, he sighs while giving a dead panned expression.
“Let’s do it.” He said as he walks inside. “Meet me here tomorrow, at noon. I have a boat, but I’ll need until tomorrow to put it in the water. It takes a big while.”
“You got it. Come on guys.” You said as everyone follows you.
“Is that you’re only option?” Twilight asks you.
“On killing the shark? Well, what other option do we have? That shark’s too big and too dangerous. We have to kill it. I believe a speedboat with bombs is the only option.” You said to her.
“How do you do that?”
“I have an idea.” You said as you got up and walked to the speedboat. “What we could do…” You hop into the speedboat. “Is we take the bombs and we’ll strap them to the stern. Then, we can race to a ramp what the water skiers use when they jump. If the boat’s good for that, and if it’s fast enough. Then it should work.” You demonstrate.
“Uh, you can’t use this boat!” Sunset Shimmer pops in.
“True. But, my dad has a boat he never uses. I can ask him if we can use it. If it works, we’ll have this shark dead in no time.”
Shark Attack In Canterlot Bay
“Wait, you’re saying that you’re gonna use my boat to kill a giant shark?” Your dad asks you. He has been a little down ever since Thunderbolt died from the shark infest a month ago.
“Come on, dad. You never use it. We need this boat to kill it. Plus, you know how big that shark is.” You said to him.
“I know I saw on the news earlier today that a whale got eaten by it offshore.” He said as he looked at the tv. “What do you have planned?”
“Twilight’s brother knows someone that can help us kill it. So we planned to put bombs on the stern of it where the motor is. We figured if this boat’s fast enough to jump a ramp just good enough for the shark to jump up and catch it. The shark blows up and it’s dead.” You demonstrate to him.
“Alright.” Your dad said as if he could be agreeing with you. “But, there might be one problem though.” He said to you. “The boat has propellers. So, let me teach you how to raise those up.”
You all begin to walk to the boat. He opens his garage in where he keeps it under a tarp to protect it. He uncovers it and he asks you all to come where he is.
“Okay, this boat also has water jets like an original jetski has in case one of these are empty.” He says as he points to the motors. “So…” He goes to the drivers side. “There’s a button right here that’ll lifts them both up. Once you lift them up, use the skis and pull the handle forward as fast as it’ll go.” Your dad deminstraights.
“Okay. Thanks dad.” You said to him.
“No problem, buddy. Listen, be careful.”
“We will dad.”

At last, you all arrived at the dock where all of you were last. You backed the boat into the water to where you normally would drop off a boat.
Doctor Cyclone lifts the boat up with the boat lift on his larger boat. You and Twilight begin to place bombs on the stern of the boat.
“Listen…” Twilight says getting your attention. “These bombs countdown, and they’re the only ones we have. They count down from five minutes. So I’m asking you this. Will you try to make it over that ramp in five minutes?” She asks you.
You gulp at the feeling when you’re glad she told you before you left the dock.
“I really hope so. Thanks for warning me, Twilight.” You said to her.
“No problem. I had to tell you before I forget.”
The boat finally takes off out to the deepest part of the bay where the shark could be hiding.
“Well… Here we go.” You said as Applejack gets beside you. You all feel nervous at what this massive shark can do to this large forty, fifty foot boat.
“Prepare to be extinct all over again, megalodon.” You said as you looked out into the bay. “We’re coming for you.”

At last, you’re all out into the open bay. Applejack begins to throw as much chum into the water to attract the shark. While Twilight begins to wire the bombs and test them.
“Yes.” She whispers to herself.
“Got the bombs set?” You ask her.
“Yup.” Twilight says as she walks to you. She shows you the remote to the bombs. “There are two buttons on this thing. One is turning it on. The next is when the countdown will begin. Once you’re in the water, you can start the time by clicking this button.” Twilight deminstraights.
“Twilight, where would we be without you?” You ask, jokingly.
“Heh, I don’t know.” She said as she went red in the face.
Though the two of you enjoy the little platonic moment, both of you are unaware of Rainbow Dash watching and hearing everything. She tries to hide the sad look on her face, as she begins to ponder if you like Twilight instead of her.
“You alright, Dash?” Applejack asks Rainbow Dash as she sees her friend in a sad mood.
Applejack dries her hands with a rag.
“I’m fine. It’s just… Does he like me back?” Dash asked Applejack.
“Ah don’t know, Rainbow.” Applejack said. “You’ll just have to give him time to think about that.”
“IT’S HERE!” You hear Pinkie call out which makes everyone freeze. “DAR SHE BLOWS!” She shouts sporting an eye patch and a beard, pointing at the large fin sticking out of the water with a spear in her other hand.
You, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, and Twilight race to the other side of the boat to where Pinkie’s at. You noticed that a giant dorsal fin that looks like it’s six to seven feet out of the water is skiing across the water.
“Holy shit…” You said as you stare at the amazing shark that looks eighty feet long.
The rest come out from the lower deck.
“Guys! We just saw-” Sunset steps in as she pauses herself and she looks at the giant shark dorsal fin skiing across the water. Could it be circling the boat? “What the hell is that?!”
“That’s our beast.” You step in.
That’s when you see the shark’s dorsal fin go underwater. You’re starting to feel very scared at what it might do when it rams the boat.
“Oh my god.” You mumbled to yourself.
Fluttershy on the other hand looks like she’s scared out of her mind.
“So… What was you about to say, Sunset?” You ask so you could hopefully forget what you just saw for a second.
“Fluttershy and I went to lower deck, and we saw… a bomb below deck. Twilight, you haven’t put on down there, did you?” Sunset asked her.
“No, I wouldn’t. Why?” Twilight asked. Until…
“Because she didn’t do that!” You heard Doctor Cyclone’s voice. He comes in as he has an evil look on his face, he also has… A button?
You all begin to panic.
“What the fuck?! Are you mad?!” You asked as everyone backs up.
“Well… When I heard those two girls saying they found a bomb. I knew I had to do something… To someone who’s about to kill my precious baby.” He said as he gives you another evil glare. You thought about it for a minute… Until you looked out into the water… And finally realize.
“Wait. You’re not saying…” You start to come in.
“Oh yes. I brought the megalodon back to life. How you may ask? Well, it’s very simple. After I got fired from my job I knew I had to prove to them I could use scientific DNA to bring a shark back from extinction. Thunderbolt and Draft Down didn’t believe me. So… not only did I bring my precious eighty foot baby back from the dead. She also had… One baby. Which you KILLED!” He said screaming at you and Applejack.
You and her looked at each other as if you don’t know what he’s talking about. Until you realize… Twilight was right. That thirty foot shark is related to this big monster roaming in the water.
“We’re… We’re so sorry.” You mumbled as Doctor Cyclone punched you right in the face.
“SORRY DOESN’T HELP WHEN YOU DESTROYED MY WORK, DOES IT!” He said in an angry tone while your face beams red.
Applejack and Rainbow Dash kneel down to give you a helping hand.
“You killed my creation! Now I kill everyone who crossed me!” He said as he pressed the button to the remote, and a loud bang is heard from below deck. It vibrates the ship and the hull opens from the bottom.
The ship… Is sinking.
Shark Attack In Canterlot Bay
The shark is just swimming on the bottom of the bay as she normally would. Swimming and swimming until when a very loud bang is heard from the surface that’s over two thousand feet.
She stops swimming for a second as she turns from left to right to track where the noise is coming from. Until the noise is heard throughout the floor again. She realizes, and she begins to swim up to the surface as fast as she can. Here she comes.

“You monster! You monster!” Twilight said as she beats Doctor Cyclone with a fire extinguisher.
She beats him on the head as he falls to the floor when the ship begins to slowly sink. Doctor Cyclone lays on the floor in pain after Twilight hit him with the fire extinguisher. You grab his remote and you looked to the side of the boat is it begins to sink, bow first.
“Shit.” You mumbled as you can see the ship slowly sinking.
“Give me that remote!” He screams as he gets up.
“Fuck you!” You screamed at him.
“Why I oughta!” He said as he starts charging at you.
“Applejack, catch!” You threw the remote to Applejack right before he tackles you down.
“GIVE ME THE REMOTE!” He screams as he now goes towards Applejack.
As soon as he gets up off of you, you noticed the shark has surfaced again.
“Uh, girls? It’s back!” You said as Applejack throws the remote again.
“Rainbow Dash!” Applejack calls out as the remote is in midair.
As the remote moves through the air, Applejack gets out of the way just in time before Cyclone could tackle her. Dash catches the remote as she looks at it. Doctor Cyclone looks at the water when he hit his face on the railing at the stern of the ship and can see the shark circling the ship.
“Well, well, well, my baby’s back!” He said as he looked at Dash.
He noticed she has the remote, only for her to just throw it in the water.
“NOOOOO!” He screams as the remote splashes in the water and starts to head to the bottom while the boat begins to slowly rise up.
“You little brats! You’re going to pay for this!”
“No! You are you little shit!” You yelled at him. “You’re the one that caused that boat accident the other day, and now we know who the REAL murder is that killed those people! I’m not saying it was just the shark! I’m saying… It’s you.”
He screams as he begins to charge at you. He grabs you and starts pulling you.
“I’ll show you! Once you’re shark bait!” He said as he now takes you to the railing. He takes a knife and he cuts your hand as drops of blood begin to drop into the water. You screamed in pain as soon he cuts you.
“Haha! Soon you’ll be food to my precious baby. Then I’ll go after your friends, and they’re next.”
*Whack*
Doctor Cyclone got hit on the head by the fire extinguisher by Rainbow Dash. While you grab the knife from him.
“Not this time, asshole!” You screamed as you stabbed him in the arm.
As she ship’s stern starts slowly rising while the speedboat with bombs is being lowered to the water, still tied to the ship.
Doctor Cyclone throws you over the railing as hard as he can. But, you still have a hold of him as he falls with you. You held on to the railing as the girls are now trying to keep a hold of you.
“Hang on!” You hear Pinkie Pie scream.
“Just hold on!” Yelled Applejack.
“I’ll try!” You said as you looked down and you noticed you’re probably thirty feet above the water while the ship is still sinking.
Doctor Cyclone still has a hold of you.
“You little brat! Once I’m done with you, I’ll be the richest person in Canterlot!” He said as he pulls out a knife. You begin to freak out as you have no idea what to do. “So long, boy! It’s been great knowing ya!”
“NO!” You screamed as you kicked his face.
He lets go of your leg and the knife falls into the water as he soon follows. As soon as he did let go. The shark jumps from the water… and she swallows him whole. Then the shark splashes back into the water.
The ship begins to sink faster as you and the girls abandoned ship, get on the speedboat and went back to the docks as fast as you can.

You looked back at the water. Knowing what you saw back there didn’t frighten you. You’re just a bit scared on how this plan will turn out.
“You okay, sugarcube?” Applejack asks.
“Yeah, just… Really scared about this.” You said as you looked at her.
“I know you are. If it makes you feel any better, I’ll come with you.” She says to you.
“Huh?” You looked at her as you cocked an eyebrow.
“I’ll come with you. I know you can’t do this on your own. We’ve been in this mess before. Now… We get to kill this shark. I believe in you.” She says as she puts her hand on your shoulder.
You stare at Applejack for a second. But, you stayed silent before she could talk again.
“And… If you don’t make it. There’s somethin’ I’ve been wanting to tell you.” She says as she takes her hat off.
“What is it, Aj?” You asked as you’re a little nervous on what she has in mind.
“The thing is. I… I actually kinda like you myself, sugarcube.” She said as she went face red.
“What?” you asked as you looked at her in complete shock.
“Yeah. I really like you. Because… You’re a really fun guy to hang out with. You’re always there for me whenever I needed someone to talk to. Granny Smith, Applebloom and Big Mac really like you having around. They think you’re a true family to them. I would think to myself ‘Golly, he’s a really kind person. Maybe… I should give him a chance.’ and that’s when I knew it hit me.” She said as she took off her hat and gave you a peck on the cheek. “Just thought I let you know. Dash does like you too. But, I just thought I let you know about me.”
You’re completely speechless as you hear Applejack’s words hit you like a freight train.
You looked at her for a few heartbeats. “I… I really don’t know what to say, Applejack. I really don’t.” You said to her.
“You don’t have to, sugarcube.” She said as she finally focused on the mission. “Anyways, let’s get this started.”
“Right.” You said as you and Applejack get on the boat. You get on the driver’s side while Applejack gets on the passenger.
“Twilight, hold my hat for me!” Applejack said as she hands Twilight her hat.
Twilight hands you the remote.
“Remember what I showed you on this?” She asked.
“Yeah. one of them is the countdown button, right?” You asked as you pointed at the second button.
“That’s the one. You should be good from right here. Good luck you two.”
“Thanks Twilight…” You said as you looked out into the water. “We’ll need it.”
You start the boat and you begin to rush out into the open water. Everyone waves good luck at you before you’re out of sight.

Racing to get to the ramp your heart begins to beat faster. You’re just further away from it as you’re going about thirty knots.
“You ready, Applejack!” You asked trying to speak through the motor and the wind.
“Yeah!” She said through the wind and loud motor.
“Listen Applejack! We only got one shot at this!” Applejack grabs the remote as she looks at you. “Don’t press the button until I tell you!”
“Got it!” She said.
Just as you soon said that. The giant dorsal fin comes from underwater and now the giant megalodon is swimming right beside you and Applejack. You sped up the boat even faster as the shark now begins to chase you both.
“WHAT’RE YOU DOIN’?!”
“KEEPING US ALIVE!” You said as you went a little bit faster. “START THE BOMB!”
Applejack presses the button and the clock now starts ticking on the bomb. Only five minutes.
You keep the boat at full speed. You remember what your dad told you about the jets this boat also has. Usually it’s for emergencies. But, it will be in almost four minutes.
You look back as you can see the shark still chasing you. She now lowers her dorsal fin back underwater. That is not a good sign. Can she be underneath you now?
“WHAT HAPPENED? WHERE’D THE SHARK GO!?!”
“IT WENT UNDERWATER! BEYOND THAT I DON’T KNOW!” You said as she soon pops up right beside you.
You can see the six to seven foot dorsal fin just skiing beside you. You look to the distance and the ramp is getting closer,and closer. When the time bomb says only two minutes left.
“Come on, baby.” You said as you sped up the boat even more. The shark still gaining up on you. But, she soon rams your boat. You almost lost control until you got it back again.
“FASTER! HURRY! IT’S GAINING ON US!” Applejack screams as you did as she was told.
“OKAY, WE GOT ONE MINUTE LEFT! I’M GONNA GET THE JETS READY! ONCE WE JUMP THE RAMP, WE JUMP FROM THE BOAT, GOT IT?”
“I GOT IT!” Applejack said as you and her speak through the wind. You begin to shut off the boat motor and turn on the emergency jets. The boat is still going at the same speed as it was before. The shark dives down underwater.
You put the boat’s steering wheel to a standstill by pressing a little switch. The boat’s now heading to the ramp when it only has thirty seconds to ignite.
You and Applejack quickly got up from your seats and you two went to one edge of the boat.
“READY?” You asked.
“READY!” Applejack holds your hand tight.
“ON THREE! ONE…! TWO…!” The boat is almost to the ramp. Until… “THREE!”
As soon as the boat jumps the ramp, you and Applejack jump just in time as the boat flies in the air. The shark jumps from the water and grabs it with her teeth. Just as she’s able to bring the boat into the water, the boat blows up.
You and Applejack duck underwater just in time as soon as that explosion happened. As you and her are still underwater. You can see the shark facing you as blood comes from her gums where her teeth would be. She faces you for a second…Until she sinks to the bottom.
The shark… Is dead.
You surfaced and you screamed.
“We did it! We did it!”
“Is it dead?” Applejack asked as she surfaced with you.
“It’s dead! It’s dead!” You and Applejack cheered and laughed and you both hugged each other. The hug lasted for only a second before you two broke it and looked into each other’s eyes.
Both of your faces turn red as you’re still holding in each other’s arms into the water. You’re starting to think. Can you kiss her?
You begin to lean into Applejack’s face as you prepare to plant your lips to hers. She does the same thing to you as you both finally made contact.
Passionately kissing right there in the water after what you both went through. You both break the kiss and you looked into each other's eyes.
“We did it.” You mumbled to her as another boat comes to your ears.
“Yeah, we did.”
You start to hear your friends scream in amazement. Letting you know what a great job you both did.
“Holy shit that was awesome you guys did it!” You hear Sunset Shimmer scream as everyone else cheers including Fluttershy.
They help you up out of the water, giving an early congratulations.
“Is it dead?” Twilight asks you both.
The sounds of cheers and shouts slowly dies down as all eyes are on the two of you. Slowly their gazes go back out to the location of the explosion.
“Yeah… It’s dead.” You responded as you grabbed Applejack’s hand.
Her face darkens red as she notices you’re holding her hand.
“That’s good. Come on, let’s go back home.” Twilight said as she sits down in the driver side while you and Applejack flop down as your bodies begin to calm themselves.
She leans on you as Dashie looks at you with a look of sadness.
“I’m sorry, Dashie. Maybe next time.” You said to her with a smile.
Dashie just smiles as you’re now on your way back to shore.
Shark Attack In Canterlot Bay
Nearly two million years of life as most of the animals that use to live on the planet have gone extinct. Long after the dinosaurs were washed out around sixty million years earlier.
However, there was one dinosaur that would live in the oceans for millions of years. Teeth as long as seven inches in length.
Weighing over fifty tons, and can swim as fast as an average great white shark we know today. Except that an average female great white can grow up to twenty-one feet in length. While there is another shark that can grow five times larger.
There is a bay that’s just right beside the city of Canterlot. People and young ones go there to swim every single year.
However, what they do find is fossilized shark teeth on the beach shore. But, there’s a much larger shark teeth in the deeper waters of the bay. With the depth of two thousand, seven hundred sixty feet deep.
Rumors spread across Equestria on what’s down there. Could there be monsters lurking in the deep? Who knows?
Only submarines have went down there that takes place in Canterlot’s history over the many years.
There has also been reports of shark attacks on other sea creatures several hundred feet away. While swimmers have to get out of the water in case one of the swimmers get bit.
But, what everyone doesn’t know. Canterlot use to be a large feeding ground a few million years ago.
Schools of whales would gather there. And so does the shark… That preys on them.
