Eric Lancer has finally found a place in the crazy world of Equestria. It has been years since he mysteriously arrived in the land of myth and legend. Through everything that has transpired, the human now finds himself as a guest residing in Canterlot Castle, along with the castle's most rambunctious resident.
Philomena, grade A troublemaker and flirtatious phoenix takes an interest in the new resident of Canterlot Castle. Despite many setbacks, Philomena and Eric find themselves closer than any other friends. As their friendship grows a startling fact makes itself apparent, forcing Philomena to search for the answer to a question she never knew she had.
