Following his final battle with his twin brother, Lucas,bat the end of Mother 3, Claus Ryuka, the former brainwashed puppet commander of the Pigmask Army known only as The Masked Man, recieves a "consolation prize" from the Dark Dragon, having pulled three of the Needles in order to awaken it. The prize: A third chance at life in a new world. Waking up in Equestria and following the attempted Changeling Invasion during Shining Armor's wedding, Claus finds himself appointed as the Princesses' elite supersoldier, facing threats that neither the Royal Guard nor the Elements of Harmony can face, such as powerful organized crime syndicates. And yet, even with all of these challenges, Claus' greatest challenge yet still lies ahead of him.
