On the balcony of her room, Celestia stared silently at the dark, cloudless sky, her eyes locked firmly on the full moon suspended high above the ground. She sighed and hung her head.
Luna quietly approached her sister. "What is it, sister?" she asked in a worried tone, startling Celestia.
"Nothing."
"Nothing?" Luna repeated the answer. "Thou hath stared at the moon for hours now, sister, and thou saidst nothing is wrong?"
"Nothing is wrong, Luna… It had become a habit when you were banished there. Every year, I would spend an entire night looking at the moon, hoping for your return."
Luna chuckled softly. "Is that what thou worry about, sister?" She paused for a moment, turning her head towards the moon herself. "I hath been here for a number of years now. Just in case thou hadn't noticed…"
Celestia turned. Only inches away from her stood a dark figure, patiently waiting for a reply. Luna’s horn glowed softly, illuminating her facial features. Her cheerful smile was accompanied with a glimmer of sadness in her eyes, eliciting a bitter smile from Celestia.
"Yes," Celestia breathed after a long pause. "It's just…" She sighed. "A thousand years without a sister you loved and cared for… A sister you entrusted your life to…"
"That pony never left, sister." Luna leaned her muzzle onto Celestia. "Even as Nightmare Moon, I hath retained my love for thee. Thou hast been the shining star in my heart, but she had become too strong for me. I am sorry if she had hurt thee, but… I-I had no choice."
"Luna…"
"But she is gone forever. She can hurt nopony anymore; I hath said this many times and have no choice but to repeat myself."
Celestia sighed. "I wish it had never came to that. Sometimes I wonder if…"
"Wonder what?"
Celestia lowered her head. "I am unsure of that myself. What would happen if I hadn't… Ow."

"So that's what it was?" Celestia asked with a smile. "I thought you wanted to take my wings as a souvenir."
Luna quickly looked up in horror. "W-what? I would never—"
"I'm kidding, Luna."
A faint spark glimmered in Celestia's eye. She smirked, her horn flared up, and a faint, golden glow illuminated the room.
Before Luna could open her mouth, she felt a slight pressure right between her wings, making them shoot up uncontrollably.
Celestia couldn't help but giggle. "Now who's tense?"
Luna groaned. "Thou art evil."
"I am the worst pony ever," Celestia mused. "For trying to make my little sister feel like she hadn't swallowed a broom."
"A… broom?"
"It's an expression, Luna." Her tone softened. "Sometimes, I tend to forget how long you were away… I spent so much time worrying and wondering if the pony that the stars would eventually bring back would still be you…"
"I assure thee, sister, it's— l-lower… no, just a little bit higher, n-yes, that's the spot!" Luna breathed happily as the disembodied pressure of magic passed the lower part of her back and focused on caressing a single spot. She stretched slightly, giving into the gentle, magical massage, and lay on the thick carpet, her legs and wings spread.
While her magic was massaging her sister's back, Celestia quietly took off her golden slippers and carefully set them aside. The tip of her forehoof lightly traced the path of her magic, adding more pressure on each pass.

In a moment, the room was drowned in grave and painful silence. The glow of Celestia's horn dimmed down, and even so, Celestia could swear that Luna could still clearly see the red in her face. At least with her horn ceasing to emit the golden light, the tempting folds had been hidden from her sight, even though the faint, but treacherous scent of Luna's arousal lingered in the air and teased her nostrils.

"I… I don't know what to say, Luna," Celestia finally muttered.
