In the Everfree Forest, there are many creatures that are known for their ferocity. They're so ferocious that Equestria hasn't tamed such a wild place. But what is the leader of said forest? Which creature is at the top of the food chain there?

The Timberwolves; they are dangerous in numbers, persistent, patient, and can easily overwhelm the Royal Guard in minutes. It's happened, which is why the Everfree Forest has yet to be tamed, and why no other species has decided to claim it.

A pack near the Northern Border of the Everfree Forest was attacked by the Royal Guard, and the Alpha stayed behind to protect his pack and narrowly escaped, but is now out of the Everfree and in a new field full of apple trees...
