//-------------------------------------------------------// Equestrian Mysteries (Gravity Falls and Mlp crossover) -by Moon Princess- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// The Mystery Twins //-------------------------------------------------------// The Mystery Twins It's been six months since the turtles came to Equestria and stopped the Tantabus. They haven't heard anything from the Mane 6 since. No calls for help. No one appearing in their dreams. No nothing. They had no sign of Equestria anywhere. One day, Celestia and Luna got a letter from Twilight, explaining how her crown had been stolen. If her crown falls into the wrong hands, it could be the end of Equestria. "Oh my." said Celestia. "This is terrible!" "Wait." said Luna. "I know who to call." Luna walked into the library. She looked at all the books on the shelves, looking for a certain book in particular. She then found the book, titled Mystery Twins. It was an old legend about twins who came from another world to help solve the mysteries of Equestria. Luna knew that these "Mystery Twins" were the ones they had to call. Twins Dipper and Mabel Pines were sitting in the forest, half a mile away from the Mystery Shack in Gravity Falls, Oregon. They had been sent here from California by their parents to spend the summer with their Grunkle Stan. They worked part time in the Mystery Shack, where they also lived with Stan. Also working in the shack were their friends Wendy and Soos. Dipper was sitting on a tree stump and reading a book called 3, with a hand with six fingers on the cover. He was trying to find any excuse from the book to go on an adventure. His older sister (only by 5 minutes) Mabel was playing with her pig Waddles. She kept throwing sticks for Waddles, while yelling "Fetch!", but he didn't seem interested. "You do know that's a pig, not a dog, right?" said Dipper, not looking up from his book. "Don't be silly, Dipper." said Mabel. "Pigs can fetch, too! Fetch!" Mable threw the stick, as Waddles just sat on the floor and watched. "Awww." said Mabel. She slumped her shoulder and sat on the grass next to Dipper's stump, disappointed. "What'cha reading?" she asked. "I'm reading about zombies and ghosts." said Dipper, eyes locked on the page. "Oh." Waddles walked over to Mabel and sat in front of  her. Mabel smiled and stroked his back. Dipper sighed and closed his book, not finding anything adventure-worthy. He looked up and saw the sun begin to set. "Let's head back." said Dipper, standing up. "It's getting late. It'll take us a while to get back." "Okay." said Mabel. She carried Waddles and skipped back to the Mystery Shack with Dipper. Dipper then heard a noise. It came again. And again. It sounded like sparks. He looked to his left. He could've sworn he saw a blue spark, but it disappeared before he could know for sure. "You okay, Dipper?" asked Mabel. "Yeah. Yeah I'm fine." Dipper replied. "Let's just keep going." "Hey kids!" the twins were greeted by Grunkle Stan outside the shack. "Hey Grunkle." said Dipper. "Hi Grunkle!" said Mabel. They walked into the shack, tired from the walk. Dipper sat at a table, with Soos sweeping the floor nearby. "Oh hey guys." said Soos. "What are you two up to?" "Not much." said Dipper. Mabel said hi to Soos as she skipped into her room. She seemed excited about something. "Find anything interesting out there?" asked Grunkle Stan. "No." said Dipper, not looking up from his book. They heard Waddles start to squeal. "Hold still!" said Mabel. Dipper rolled his eyes. He pulled out a notebook and scribbled something down. Waddles squealed louder. "Oh boy." said Dipper. He closed 3 and walked into Mabel's room. "What are you- not again." Mabel walked up to Dipper and held Waddles in front of him. She and Waddles had small fake jewels all over their faces. "I bedazzled our faces!" said Mabel, excitedly. Dipper folded his arms. "Right." he said. Mabel put Waddles down, and he ran away. They heard a crash. "What the heck happened to this poor pig?" they heard Grunkle Stan yell. The twins looked at each other and laughed. The twins soon changed into their pajamas, and Dipper helped Mabel get the jewels off of her and Waddles' faces. Dipper read 3 before he fell asleep, as usual. Once the twins got tired, Mabel turned off the lamp with her grappling hook (which ended up throwing the lamp out the window and breaking it, so it was more destroying the lamp then turning it off). Dipper had a strange dream. He was in a black room. He walked around the room, and saw a woman appear and disappear before his eyes. The word "solve" flashed in front of him. "Hello?" He said. Dipper cocked his head and walked to the woman.  She looked like she had a blue dress and wings, but woke up before he could talk to her. But he felt someone shaking him...... "Dipper! Dipper get up!" He slowly opened his eyes, and saw that it was Mabel. She was already dressed. He looked at the clock and saw it was six in the morning. "It's a little early, can't it wait?" he said, still not fully awake. "No!" said Mabel. "Now get dressed!" Dipper put his pillow on top of his head. "Get up!" Mabel pushed Dipper off his bed and onto the ground. "Ow." he said, sitting up and rubbing his head. "What's the big problem, anyway?" "Someone flew up to my window. They said they wanted to talk to you." she said. "Well just- wait, flew?" "Yeah! They had wings! They said they had a message for us. She's right outside. Her eyes are weird." Dipper jumped up, trying to untangle himself out of his blankets. Mabel ran outside to the person, and Dipper got dressed. He ran outside his room while putting on his hat. He opened the door and gasped.
