During the Fall Formal, magic from Twilight's crown gave Flash's Camaro car the ability to speak, walk on two wheels, and drive by itself permanently. The car calls itself "Brando", and it teaches Sunset the ways of friendship. But soon, Brando accidentally bumps into a Lamborghini Murcielago called Bonavento Poncetti, who is a popular racer in the Equestrian Grand Prix. Poncetti plans to retire from racing after 10 years, but needs a racer to take his place for his sponsor, Ponrall Fashion Boots, who is Equestria's #1 boot brand. Brando decides to enter the Equestrian Grand Prix, while the Mane 7 cheer him on. During the races of the Equestrian Grand Prix, he meets a 2016 McLaren 675LT named Pegustine Akers who is willing to cheat for the sponsor prize. It's up to the Mane 7 to check Akers for signs of cheating and put a stop to it.
