Chapter 1
Twilight Sparkle wakes up to the sound of, what she thought was eggs coming from downstairs. Twilight rubs sleep from her eyes and gets up from her bed. “Wow that smells good. I guess spike got up early.i wonder why.” twilight says as she lets her nose lead her down to the kitchen where she finds spike cooking for her and himself.
“Good morning spike. Why are you up so early.”
“Oh, hey twilight, i'm just making us some breakfast, why do you ask.”
“Spike you and i both know that you're never up before me. So what's the special occasion,i know it's not for rarity since she turned you down after all.”
“You're absolutely right it's not for her ,i decided to look for an actual job,you know like one that pays me.”
“Oh, OK may i ask what made you want a job all of a sudden.” slightly disappointed but happy that spikes taking up a bit more responsibility.
“I just thought that maybe it's time i started to take care of myself, or at least start to.”
“I see. Well have you figured out what work you're gonna do.”
“Yea, i start today,that's kinda why i'm up so early.”
“Spike, this is so sudden,when were you gonna tell me and what will you be doing.”
“Oh yea, i'll be working with a DJ for a while and after i'll probably produce some music as well.” spike says as he sets the plates of food on the table, he also places two forks on the table as well as some orange juice.
“Well spike who is it, are you not going to tell me the dj's name?” twilight said cautiously.
“huh?” spike gives twilight a confused look.
“Your new boss spike,who is it?” twilight asked unamused.
“Oh um it's Vinyl Scratch i doubt you would know her.” spike says nonchalantly.
“how did you get a job with the best DJ in equestria. how did you two even meat?!”twilight says astonished.
“Um pinkie set me up she knows every DJ in equestria when i asked her why, she said it was her job as a party planner.” spike giggled at the recollection of like 2 days ago.
