Episode One: Enter Humanville
Twilight Sparkle was a 19 year old human girl who had just moved out of her parent's house. She was accompanied by her 10 year old adopted son Spike Sparkle.
Twilight and Spike were on a bus going to the town of Humanville Humania. Humania was the very country she lived in; which was ruled by Queen Celestia, who also happened to be Twilight's personal teacher.
"So Twilight? Why are we moving all the way to Humanville when we can just live in Canterlot?" Spike asked while they were seated on the bus.
Twilight patted Spike on the head, "Because Spike, I got a job at the local library in Humanville."
Spike rolled his eyes, "But why down in Humanville when there're plenty of libraries back home?"
"Because Spike, the other libraries have enough librarians; this place hasn't. And besides, aren't you excited about this. I sure am."
Spike made a small giggle, "I guess. It's just I'm used to Canterlot."
Again Twilight patted Spike, "I understand. And don't worry, I'm sure we'll make plenty of friends."
The bus came to a stop, they were there.
"This is it Spike, Humanville." Twilight and Spike picked up their knapsacks and stepped out of the bus, then they made their way to the Humanville Public Library.
On their way they met up with a pink haired girl.
"Oh hi there." Twilight said happily.
"AAAUGHH!" The pink haired girl screamed and ran off.
Spike and Twilight looked towards where she went.
"That was weird." Stated Spike.
"Excuse me miss." Said a voice behind them.
They turned around and found a middle aged woman with grey hair and a younger blond woman wearing a stetson hat behind them.
"Hello are you Twilight Sparkle?" Asked the middle aged woman.
"Yes I am."
The blond girl stepped towards Twilight and began shaking her hand, "It's a pleasure to meet you Ms. Sparkle. My name is Applejack and I welcomes y'all to Humanville, the friendliest town in all of Humania."
Twilight released her hand from Applejack, that girl had one major grip.
"Glad to meet you too Applejack." Said Twilight, "I just got a job as the librarian at the local library."
'As apposed to what? The librarian at the local butcher shop?' Thought Spike.
The middle aged woman stepped forward, "I am the mayor of this town and I'm here personally to let you know that Applejack will give you the grand tour of our fair town."
Twilight smiled, "Thanks but Spike and I would rather get settled at the library first."
"Oh of course Twilight." Said Applejack, "I'll show you the way."
Twilight and Spike proceeded to follow Applejack to their destination.
As the were walking Twilight turned to Applejack, "So, where do you live?"
"I live at the local apple orchard called Sweet Apple Acres with my big brother Big Mac, my grandmother Granny Smith, and my little sister Applebloom."
Applejack then turned to Spike, "And who's this?"
"I'm Spike." Spike said proudly.
"He's my foster son." Twilight explained.
Applejack raised an eyebrow, "I didn't know they let anyone who just left their parent's house to be fosterers?"
"Normally no, but Spike was found in a dumpster as a baby by Celestia herself and eventually she decided that I was the best one to be his guardian."
Just then they came upon the library. It was made to look like a tree, but wasn't really a tree.
"Well it was nice meeting you." Said Applejack as she waved goodbye and left.
Twilight pulled out the keys she was given when she first got the job, only to find the door to be already unlocked.
"Strange, why would the door be..." Twilight whispered as she opened the door.
"SURPRISE!!"
In the library stood the pink haired girl from earlier and a large group of people.
"Hi I'm Pinkie Pie I threw this party just for you. Were you surprised? HUH huh, were you?" Said the pink haired girl in a way that sounded like she had caffeine in her veins instead of blood.
"Yeah, very surprised." Laughed Twilight, "Libraries are supposed to be quiet."
"Oh that's silly. What kind of welcome party would it be if it was quiet? I mean 'duh' BORING." Said Pinkie.
"True." Twilight giggled, "But Spike and I were kinda wanting to get settled in before we do anything special."
"But there's punch." Joke whined Pinkie.
"But how'd you get in here without a key?" Asked Spike.
"My skeleton key of course." Pinkie answered while mussing Spike's hair.
"Well, let us put our stuff away then we'll have some punch." Said Twilight.
"Okie dokie lokie." Cheered Pinkie.
Twilight and Spike entered the living quarters of the library, and began to empty their bags.
"Well, this town sure is friendly." Said Twilight.
Spike giggled, "It sure is. I just hope there are kids my age to hang with."
Once they finished, Spike and Twilight came to join the party goers.
"Hi there!" Shouted Pinkie Pie, "Allow me to introduce you to everyone." Pinkie picked both Twilight and Spike up and carried them over her shoulders.
"This is Cheerilee. She teaches at the Humanville Schoolhouse."
"This is Lyra Heartstrings."
"This is Colgate."
"This is Derpy."
Pinkie carried the two over to each and every party goer. Then finally put them down in front of the punch bowl.
"So how do you like it here so far?" Asked Pinkie.
Twilight giggled once again, "I like it."
"It's okay." Said Spike.
Pinkie lowered her head towards Spike's, "Is there a problem?"
"Oh no mam, it's just I don't see any kids around." Answered Spike.
"Just a sec." Pinkie said then left in a flash and came back with three girls.
"This here is Scootaloo." Said said pointing towards the girl with a moderate cerise hair color.
"This is Sweetie Belle." She pointed to the pinkish colored hair girl in a white dress.
"And lastly Applebloom." Pinkie pointed towards the red haired girl.
"Applebloom?" Asked Spike, "Aren't you sisters with Applejack?"
"Yep. Why, have you met her?" Asked Applebloom.
"That's correct." Answered Spike.
"So..." Scootaloo said rubbing the back of her head, "Whatcha wanna do?"
"Ooh ooh let's play pin the tail on the donkey!" Cheered Sweetie Belle.
"Awesome!" Exclaimed Spike. The four children then ran off to play.
Twilight turned to Pinkie, "So Pinkie Pie, what do you do for a living?"
"I'm a professional party thrower, and I work at the bakery Sugarcube Corner." Proudly answered Pinkie.
"Cool."
Then a rainbow haired girl showed that Pinkie introduced earlier as Rainbow Dash showed up.
"Hey there." Rainbow proceeded to shake Twilight's hand (this time gently), "My name is Rainbow Dash, the fastest person in all of Humania."
"Hi Rainbow Dash; I hope we can all be friends." Said Twilight.
"I'm that awesome, aren't I." Bragged Rainbow Dash.
Twilight silently snickered at Rainbow's boastfulness, "So what do you do Rainbow?"
"I'm a meteorologist." Rainbow said while proudly placing her fists against her sides, "I predict the local weather."
"That sounds cool." Said Twilight. She hoped this woman and her would share interests in science.
"It sure is." Said Rainbow Dash, "But what I REALLY want to do is join the Wonderbolts."
Twilight rolled her eyes; she wasn't in to sports; but who could HONESTLY find the Wonderbolts to be interesting. All they do is run around a field. Anyone can do that; possibly even in their sleep.
"If you say so." Said Twilight.
Then the one named Cheerilee showed up, "Hi there Twilight Twinkle."
"It's 'Sparkle' actually." Corrected Twilight.
"Oh, sorry."
"That's okay...Cheerilee was it?"
"Correct." Answered Cheerilee, "I teach at the local schoolhouse. And let me tell you, around here it's tricky because I have to teach grades 1-12."
"Really?" Asked a surprised Twilight, "I didn't know they still had schools like that these days."
"Well my school sure does."
Twilight then realized something, "Speaking of which, when do you think Spike can get enrolled?"
Cheerilee shrugged, "I'd have to file paperwork first, and I'd have to see him first."
Cheerilee took a sip of the punch she was holding, "Who's Spike? Your brother?"
Twilight shook her head, "My foster child actually." She then pointed towards him, "That boy with the green hair playing pin the tail on the donkey is him."
Pinkie Pie interrupted, "Aw come on you spoil sports; you can work later right now it's time to play."
Pinkie Pie leaped away.
That night after the party Twilight and Spike were in the bathroom brushing their teeth while wearing their nighties.
"This place may not be that bad Twilight." Said Spike.
Spike spat his toothpaste into the sink and began to gargle.
"Yeah." Said Twilight who also spat out her toothpaste, "I guess your silly foster mother didn't make a mistake, did she Spike?"
The two left the bathroom and headed towards the bedroom.
Spike crawled into his bed and fell asleep.
Twilight crawled into her bed, then turned off her lamp.
"Sweet dreams Spike."

Episode Two: Around Humanville
It was Sunday, so the library didn't open until the next day. Twilight decided to have a look around town.
The first place she found that she recognized was Sugarcube Corner. The place was closed but A woman with light crimson hair was in front of the place sweeping the place.
"Hi there mam, are you the owner or manager of this place?" Twilight asked the woman.
The woman smiled and said, "My husband and I both co own this place yes; how may I help you deary?"
"Yeah, I was wondering if you knew where Pinkie Pie lived." Said Twilight.
"Oh she lives here with me and my husband. She currently upstairs." Answered the woman, who then realized something, "Oh heavens to Betsy where are my manners; hi there, my name's Cup Cake. What's yours?"
"My name's Twilight Sparkle, and I just got a job at the local library."
"Glad to meet you Ms. Sparkle." Said Cup Cake.
"It's nice to meet you." Twilight smiled, "But is it okay if I go say hi to Pinkie?"
Cup smiled, "Go ahead deary."
Twilight made her way up the stairs, where she met Pinkie.
"Hi Twilight!" Said Pinkie.
"Hey Pinkie, I hope you aren't too busy, but I was hoping you could help me find Sweet Apple Acres." Said Twilight.
"Oh it's no trouble at all Twilight, I've got plenty of time." Pinkie said and the two went off to Applejack's.
On their way there they came upon a light pink haired girl.
"Hey there pal." Cheered Pinkie Pie.
"Hi there." Said the pink haired girl.
"I'm sorry, what was that?" Asked Twilight.
"I said 'Hi there." Said the pink haired girl.
"Um...okay..." Said Twilight.
"Oh don't worry about her Twilight, she's not very social. her name is Fluttershy." Said Pinkie as the two went on their way.
"Bye." Whispered Fluttershy. No one heard her.
Twilight and Pinkie made it to Sweet Apple Acres. Twilight was amazed at how many apple trees there were.
"This is amazing." Said Twilight.
"It sure is isn't it." Said a voice to their right.
They turned and saw Applejack carrying a basket of apples.
"Hi Applejack." Said Twilight, "The library doesn't open until tomorrow so I decided to explore and say hi to my new friends."
"Sounds good Twilight." Said Applejack, who turned towards her house, "I'll just be taking these apples inside and I'll join you."
Twilight went to Applejack, "But aren't you a bit busy?"
Applejack laughed, "Nah, I just needed to bring these apples inside and that'll be all I need to do for today."
Twilight and Pinkie followed AJ in the house where they saw an elderly woman sleeping in a rocking chair.
"Hey Granny, we got guests." Applejack said to the elderly woman.
"Huh...Wha..." Stirred the woman. She then noticed Pinkie and Twilight so she smiled, "Well hey there Pinkie Pie and..."
"Twilight. Twilight Sparkle." Answered Twilight.
"Well howdy do Ms. Twilight; we here at Sweet Apple Acres sure love meeting new friends." Said the woman, "By the way, my name's Granny Smith."
Suddenly there was a crash.
Everyone turned towards the source of the crash and saw a baseball had broken the window.
Suddenly Applebloom ran inside shouting, "I'M SO SORRY! PLEASE DON'T GROUND ME!"
Granny Smith got up from her rocking chair and approached Applebloom, "Listen here Applebloom Apple!" Granny Smith only used her full name when she was mad, "I've told you a million times not to throw things towards the house, you need to throw things AWAY from the house."
Applebloom sniffled, "Am I in trouble?"
Granny Smith nodded, "You are. And as punishment I'll be deducting the window damages from your allowance."
"WHAT!?" Shouted Applebloom.
Meanwhile Twilight turned to Applejack and quietly said to her, "Can we go now? I don't wanna get any more involved in your family's private matters."
"No problem." Answered Applejack, "I'm finished with my chores Grandma, so I'll be showing Twilight around town."
"Okay dear." Granny said then turned back to Applebloom.
Pinkie, Twilight, and Applejack started on their way through town.
As they moved around town, they stumbled upon Rainbow Dash who joined them on their tour.
"By the way, I heard you're the personal student of Queen Celestia herself." Rainbow said to Twilight.
Twilight blushed, "Yeah, yes I am."
The others all raised their eyes and stared at Twilight in surprise.
"Did I hear what I think I heard?" Asked a voice.
The voice came from a woman with indigo colored hair.
Rainbow Dash rolled her eyes, "Oh it's you."
"Hi Rarity." Happily cheered Pinkie Pie.
Rarity grabbed Twilight by her shirt and started shouting, "You are the personal student of Celestia herself? I...I...I'm almost speechless."
Rarity then fainted.
Applejack helped Rarity up, "If for a second you think that THAT's all that makes her a good friend..."
"Oh good heavens no." Said Rarity getting back up, "I'm just super excited about seeing someone who knows the queen herself."
"So..." Said Twilight to Rarity, "What do you do for a living?"
Rarity opened her eyes wide, "Who moi? Why I own the local boutique Carousel Boutique."
"Glad to meet you, my name's Twilight Sparkle." Twilight said offering to shake Rarity's hand.
Rarity and Twilight shook hands.
Twilight then realized something, "Oh girls, we better make a quick stop at the library; I need to check on Spike."
Rarity raised an eyebrow, "Isn't the library closed, and who's Spike?"
"Oh I'm the new librarian there, and Spike is my foster child." Explained Twilight.
As they made their way towards the library Rainbow whispered in Applejack's ear 'Egghead."
"Spike?" Twilight called as they entered the library.
Spike was reading one of his comic books on an armchair, "Hey Twilight."
"Just making sure you're okay Spike." Said Twilight.
"Oh I'm fine. Just reading The Power Folks."
"Okay, if you're sure." Twilight then left with her new friends.
As they were continuing on their tour Applejack said to Twilight, "Is it really a good idea to leave him alone like this?"
"Oh sure, the worst thing he'll do is not do chores that I ask of him. But I didn't really ask him to do any today." Said Twilight.
Applejack sighed, "If you say so sugarcube."
The next stop was at Rainbow Dash's house. It was a white colored dome shaped house with a waterfall on the one side and the door on the other, plus two stain-glass windows and a skinny chimney (the kind made for wood-burning stoves, and it even had a small moat around it and a tiny stone bridge.
"This is my place. Ain't it awesome?" Said Rainbow Dash.
It was certainly unusual, but the good kind, "I like it Rainbow." Said Twilight.
Later that night, Twilight crawled into bed. She had a nice tour.
Although some of the buildings were strange. The library is made to look like a tree, Sugarcube Corner looks like it's made of candy, Rainbow's house looks like a cross between a future styled house and something out of a fairy tale, Applejack's house is in the shape of a barn (but isn't actually the barn), and Rarity's boutique is called CAROUSEL Boutique but doesn't look anything like a carousel.
Twilight giggled to herself, "All apart of this nice town's charm."
