Sunset's Love

ToSunsets the first day of school, and Sunset Shimmer was sitting at the lunch table, poking at her food, bored. She was wanting to be in a relationship, but it seemed like nobody wanted to be with her. All of her friends were in relationships. Twilight Sparkle was with Flash Sentry, Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie were dating, Rarity was with Trenderhoof, and Applejack was with a new kid, and his name was Serenity Zephyr. Sunset couldn't believe it when she walked in and she saw Applejack on her knees. That still scars her until this day. Even Fluttershy was with Bulk Biceps.

"Hi Sunset Shimmer!" Pinkie Pie was skipping and somehow managing to keep all of her food on her tray. How she was managing that Sunset Shimmer had no idea.

"Hey Pinkie Pie, how are ya?" Sunset was glad on of her friends was here.

"I'm fantastic! I just found out my cousin Jazzy is coming to this school! I'm so super duper excited I can barely contain it! I'm going to totally explode!" Pinkie Pie started to giggle.

Sunset Shimmer just shook her head as Pinkie sat down.

Pinkie Pie was a tall girl but she was also chubby. She had frizzy pink hair, and a very charismatic personality. Her skin was fair, not ghost white, but almost there. When she came out as Pansexual, everyone was somewhat shocked, but nobody really cared, as long as she was happy.

Sunset Shimmer was skinny, but not too skinny. She had red hair with yellow highlights. Sunset was a lesbian, but she kept it a secret. She thought it was a crime to be gay, until Pinkie and Rainbow started dating a few years ago. But Sunset Shimmer was unfortunate enough to be put in the foster care system because she had no parents.

"Hello, Darlings!" Rarity was signing. Her boyfriend, Trenderhoof was deaf, but according to her, he was amazing in bed. Rarity had wavy purple hair and a little meat on her bones. Trenderhoof had blond hair and a matching beard. Everyone but Rarity agreed it looked stupid, but what can you do?

Trenderhoof signed hello and they both sat down. So far, everyone was happy, and Sunset Shimmer wasn't.

"Hey freaks and geeks" Rainbow Dash came to the table. Freaks and Geeks? Sunset Shimmer wondered what that meant.

"Hi everyone." Applejack and Serenity Zephyr came walking up. Serenity was carrying Applejack's tray, as he always does. Sometimes everyone wondered if Applejack controlled him, but then, Serenity would do anything for Applejack. They both sat down and Serenity Zephyr and Trenderhoof started wrestling around.

       "Boys, stop." Applejack sounded angry. Serenity Zephyr and Trenderhoof were roommates and were always putting their hands on each other. Rarity and Applejack hated it, but boys will be boys.

       "Sorry my Sweet Apple" Serenity Zephyr said.

       "Oh, hello everyone." Fluttershy came walking up. "No Bulk Biceps today, he has practice." Everyone nodded.

       "So, when is your cousin coming to the school?" Sunset Shimmer asked.

       "Who? Oh! Jazz? Uh... Tomorrow! I'm so nervousited!" Pinkie Pie giggled.

       "I'm there almost every day" Fluttershy said.

       "I think you'll like her Sunset." Rainbow Dash said.

       Sunset Shimmer almost choked on her food. 'Why would she say that?' She thought. The bell rang as everyone went to their classes.            All Sunset Shimmer could think about was why Rainbow Dash said what she said. Sure, she shared everything with her, but not that she was gay. How would she know? Sunset had never told her that.

       The rest of the day was nothing and school let out. Sunset wanted to go home. Luckily, she was alone, so she jumped on her bike and started home. As she was riding, she almost ran over a girl who was tall and skinny. She had multi colored hair, and she was reading comic books. Sunset Shimmer wasn't sure if she was hallucinating from almost killing this girl, but she thought the girl was very beautiful.

       "I'm so sorry... I didn't see you there." Sunset sounded upset.

       "I'm invisible, its okay. No worries. I'm surprised I'm not already dead." The girl said as she walked away. Who was that? Sunset Shimmer had never seen her around before, but she wanted to see more.
