My Little Pony: Sisterly Convergence 2
Chapter 2
Previous ChapterChapter 2
The next morning, after Luna had teleported herself back to her own room before the guards could suspect anything, an act that she and her sister had long since mastered. The two Princess’ went about their everyday routines and acting like they always did around their subjects. Apart, they tended to whatever their subjects requested of them or whatever royal duties they’d have to do but alone they engaged in some loving make out sessions and cuddling.
All in all, the two sisters turned wives were happier than they’ve ever been…
At the moment, Princess Celestia was just exiting the magic school where she first met Twilight, as she usually did every now and then. She greatly enjoyed seeing all the young fillies and colts practicing their magic, it made her reminisce about the times Twilight was young, innocent and wide eyed.
That’s when she noticed a familiar face nearby.
“Auntie Celestia!”
The aforementioned Princess smiled when she saw her adopted niece waving to her at the end of the steps. She walked on over and gave her a quick hug.
“Cadance, so good to see you.” Celestia said, warmly.
“Likewise Aunt Celestia, how are things with Aunt Luna?” Cadance inquired.
“Splendid.” Princess Celestia smiled.
“Good. No suspicions?” Cadance asked, curious.
“Not at all, nopony suspects a thing.” Celestia replied.
“You know you might not be able to keep it a secret forever, don’t you?” Cadance inquired. “I mean… I managed to find out, so it’s not unlikely that somepony else just might as well.”
“Perhaps…” The Princess of the Sun mused. “But so far so good, and we cannot let paranoia keep us from leading peaceful and happy lives now can we?”
“Your right, of course.” Princess Cadance nodded.
“But enough about us, time me about you, anything going on?” Princess Celestia inquired, interested. “Is little Flurry Heart, ok?”
“Oh, she’s doing great!” Cadance beamed. “Shining Armor is a bit stressed out though… can’t wait to see how he’ll deal with the teenage years…”
Princess Celestia chuckled, amused. “Indeed. But I have faith in him.”
“As do I.” Cadance nodded before gaining a coy smile. “Speaking of babies… have you and Auntie Luna ever thought about… you know… maybe…?”
Celestia’s eyes widened while her cheeks became hot and red when she realized what her niece meant, reducing her to a stuttering mess. “Oh… well… I-I… uh… I-I mean w-we… that is… I-I…” she tried to say while Cadance giggled.
“It’s ok, it’s ok, you don’t have to answer.” Princess Cadance assured her. “I should have known better then to ask you something like that.”
“No, it’s fine, it’s only natural you should ask something like that.” Celestia admitted. “And I must confess I have been thinking about it recently…”
“And Luna?”
“I’m not sure…”
“Have you asked?”
“I’ve hinted at it here and there, but every time I do she is always so vague…”
“Maybe she hasn’t decided on it yet.” Princess Cadance suggested.
“Maybe…” Celestia muttered, glancing away.
Cadance put a hoof on her. “Aw, cheer up, it’ll be ok,” she assured her. “I’m sure she wants to, it just scares her a little like it does you, correct?”
Celestia nodded, sighing. “Yes.”
“Thought so. Just give her time, alright?” Princess Cadance requested.
Princess Celestia knew she was right, even though waiting was driving her somewhat crazy, she sighed deeply. “Very well, you are the Princess of Love after all, so I suppose I should listen to you.”
“Thank you.” Cadance said, gratefully.
“Well, we’d better get going then.” Celestia declared.
“Right. Lead the way.” Cadance offered as they started to walk away. But before they could get very far somepony called out to the Princess of the Sun.
“Princess Celestia!”
They turned, looking alert, while a messenger unicorn pony galloped toward them and finally stopped when he reached the royal figures. He panted out of breath. “Princess… there’s… there’s a message for you…” he breathed as he levitated a scroll before her.
“A message? From who? Twilight?” Celestia inquired as she magically took the scroll.
“I-I don’t know, it just appeared out of nowhere…” The messenger revealed.
“How very strange…” Princess Celestia remarked, baffled. “Thank you good sir, that will be all.”
The messenger saluted. “Ma’am!”
After the messenger pony had left Celestia opened the scroll and levitated it front of her face as her eyes scanned what was written on it quickly.
Cadance leaned in. “What does it say?”
After a pause Celestia gasped in horror. “Oh no… it can’t be…!”
“What’s wrong, Auntie?” Cadance asked, worried.
“Somepony knows…” Celestia breathed, the fear in her voice becoming more and more clear.
“Knows what?” Her niece inquired, beginning to look worried.
“About me… and Luna…” The Princess of the Sun revealed, her voice filled with dread.
“What!?” Cadance reacted in shock. “But… but how…?”
“I-I don’t know… we’ve always been so careful… what could we have missed…?” Celestia wondered, beginning to panic.
“W-Well… does the pony who sent that given any demands yet…?” The Princess of Love asked, nervously.
“No. It just says ‘I know about you and your sister. I know you have both committed a great crime’” Princess Celestia said as she read the letter.
“T-That could mean anything!” Cadance pointed out as she started to panic as well.
“Yes… but there’s only one great crime that I can think of right now…” Celestia despaired.
“It’s not a crime if you two truly love each other!” Cadance protested, firmly.
“I know, but that is not how this pony sees it…” Princess Celestia said as she glanced at the scroll she was levitated sadly.
“What are you going to do?” Princess Cadance inquired, concerned.
“Firstly, I have to tell Luna, unless she’s already been messaged as well…” Princess Celestia declared as she began to leave in a hurry. “Please, excuse me.”
“Good luck!” Cadance waved as she watched Celestia gallop off into the distance and silently prayed for the safety and love of her two aunts.
Meanwhile, around that same time, Luna was currently sitting inside her personal study. It was dark and somewhat small, just the way she liked it and had many decorations that most would find ‘creepy’ yet she found them to be beautiful and unique. She was currently in the middle of reading what appeared to be a very interesting book when her sister turned wife suddenly burst it, with the scroll still floating by her
“Sister!” she cried.
“Beloved, what’s wrong? Is something the matter?” Luna asked, concerned.
“Yes, something is the matter…” Celestia revealed, still looking panicky. She levitated the scroll over to her younger sister. “Take a look.”
The Princess of the Night took the scroll and gave it a quick read over before gasping in shock, just like Celestia did not too long ago.
“Indeed… it is very troubling…” The Princess of the Sun said, solemnly and worriedly.
“But… how!?” Luna asked, baffled.
“I just don’t know… but somepony knows about us, and what’s worse; this pony could be watching us right now…”
“He or she would dare commit an act of treason against the Princess’ of Equestria!?”
“If this secret get’s out we won’t be Princess' of Equestria anymore…”
“No… this can’t…”
“Can be, and is… and we must find out who and why before it is too late.” Princess Celestia stated.
“Could it be Discord?” Luna wondered, her face quickly becoming a scowl. “Because I swear if that little weasel…”
“No, this isn’t his style, and even if it were Discord, he wouldn’t let us know via scroll.” Celestia pointed out.
“I guess you are right…” Luna admitted.
“And even if he does know, it wouldn’t quite as much fun for him if it suddenly ended.” Princess Celestia added.
“Then who? What could we have missed?” Princess Luna wondered.
“I don’t know… whoever it is must have been spying on us without either of us knowing it for quite some time.” The Princess of the Sun assumed. “Somepony quite powerful…”
“Somepony very sneaky…” Luna mused.
“And knowledgeable enough to work their way past the guards…” Celestia added, thoughtfully.
“That narrows the list of possible suspects a great deal… but there’s still too many.” Princess Luna pointed out.
“Perhaps we must wait, until we receive another letter.” Princess Celestia suggested.
“But… but he or she said…” The Princess of the Night began to say, worried.
“This unknown pony has not yet made any demands yet, he or she could be just trying to scare us.” Princess Celestia pointed out. “But if another letter is sent, we’ll have a better idea of what they want and they we’re dealing with.”
Luna sighed a long sigh. “Fine… but what about… ‘having fun’ if you know what I mean?” she inquired, a bit hesitantly.
Celestia saw her point and thought for a bit. “I suppose we’ll just have to put them on hold, until this spy has been revealed, we don’t want he or she getting photographic evidence of us… ‘doing it’,” she declared, solemnly which made her wife moan with disappointment. She lifted her chin with her hoof. “But don’t worry, we will find out who is trying to do this to us, darling.”
Princess Luna smiled, comforted by Celestia’s words. “Thank you, dear.”
The two sisters-turned-wives quickly shared a kiss before sharing a loving look.
“Now, shall we go about our everyday lives?” Princess Celestia offered.
“I supposed so.” Princess Luna nodded, melancholic.
“That’s my girl.” Celestia said, proudly as she began to lead Luna out of the room, while the Princess of the Night got an idea in her head.
“I… don’t suppose holding tails like we usually do is out of the question too, is it?” she asked her wife, nervously.
Princess Celestia thought for a bit before finally answering. “I suppose not, after all, it wouldn’t be too suspicious of the two Princess’ of Equestria were seen holding tails every now and then, after all, that’s what sisters do, am I right?” she pointed out.
Luna smiled. “Indeed, they do.”
With quiet happiness, as she and Celestia stepped outside and began walking back to the castle ground, their ethereal tails wrapped around each other and practically mixed together as they continued to trot away.
They began to pass by a few ponies along the way, most of whom bowed at the sight of them and didn’t see that they were holding tails at the time. The ones that did see however, didn’t seem to think much of it, treating it as a sisterly thing just like Celestia said so.
Although some did look at them both a little strangely, which made Luna somewhat uncomfortable, especially when she began to hear what some of them we’re saying behind their backs.
“Boy, they seem awfully close.”
“Yeah, a little too close if you ask me.”
“Come on, they’re sisters, what’s the big deal?”
“But look at them! They look more like a couple too me!”
“Can you imagine? The Princess’ dating each other?”
“Scandalous!”
“Disgusting!”
“Sssh! Quiet! We’re not suppose to talk about the Princess’ like that!”
“They won’t be Princess’ anymore if we’re actually right about them!”
Princess Celestia quickly noticed sweat dripping down her sister’s worried face and when she noticed some of the ponies talking about them, one simple eyebrow raise immediately shut them all up, knowing it was unwise to talk about their rulers like that when they were around.
Celestia then put a wing around Luna. “Don’t worry, it’s fine, just ignore them,” she whispered to her comfortingly.
“Ok… but… but what if…” Princess Luna began, her eyes widening in fear. “What if the one who is blackmailing us sees this and uses it as photographic evidence!?”
Princess Celestia simply nuzzled her sister turned wife. “Let ‘em watch,” she smiled as Luna nuzzled back, completely cheered up and also completely unaware that she was right about their mysterious stalker watching their actions closely before making his or her escape without anypony noticing.
