233 years a.D (after Discord)

Equestria, united by the royal Sisters. Celestia and Luna. Their defenders. Their long living rulers.

Were yet able to defeat every enemy which yawned over their beautiful landscapes.

Except for one.

The Past

It was a dark and cloudy day, the pegasi of Equestria just didn't have the time to tend to the weather like they usually do. Its War afterall

A young scout pegasus which name got long forgotten, was on the lookout high in the sky of a small Village which name too is forgotten now.

He scouts the marching of the next wave of enemies. Changelings “They are coming!”

The Battlefront was littered with dead bodies. The smell foul. The ground red

Commander Stale Cold a very successful commander during his time shouted his army together.

Earth ponies in the front. Wearing heavy Royal armor. Crafted by the precious magic metal.

Above them a row of pegasi. Wearing leather armor and Crossbows attached to their body

They instantly got into formation preparing for a rain of bolts to hold them back.

Behind all of them were Unicorns. Equipped with spell books, runes and scrolls.

They were divided into two groups. Fire and water wizards. They resembled two of the three gods they believe in.

Fire resembling the sun.

Water resembling the moon.

Stale Cold in the front of all of them. He lifted his hoof. “Take aim! READY!” he turned around the last time in his life, seeing the fear in all of their eyes. “FIRE!!” He stomped his hoof down and ran into the oblivion. Followed by all his soldiers

The Black insect like creatures were no light enemy, their ability to shape shift and agility the main weapon of them. They didn't wear any armor or weapons whatsoever. Only equipped with their carapace and razor sharp fangs. Biting their opponents to death.

The result of this Battle was devastating.

The Changelings, their sheer number was enough to bring down yet another Village of Ponies.

The war demanded a high sacrifice to fill the need for weapons and resources. And the prisoners of Equestria had to pay for it.

Everypony who had committed a crime, however big it was, got forced into labor in the Ore mines of Canterlot

Out of every Corner of Equestria, prisoners arrived in the valley.

To make an escape impossible, Celestia and Luna summoned the biggest Wizards of their time to create a magical barrier around the entire valley.

They used all their power to contain the magical field, but something interrupted the process and caused the barrier to expand.

The great wizards and everypony else now were prisoners of the barrier.

The small distraction from the mistake was enough for the prisoners to take over the entire barrier for themselves. The moment all wizards arrived at the Castle inside of the Valley, they did not get attacked. But it was to late for every Guard

Canterlot, with all their mines now was in control of Equestrias prisoners.

The royal Sisters had no other choice but to negotiate. They were forced to give them everything they wanted in return of the Ore they needed.

Month after Month they delivered what the prisoners wanted.

Month after Month they brought the ore to the edge of the barrier in exchange.

In all these years, many tried to break or destroy the barrier. But none was successful

After all these years, yet another unlucky pony was brought to the barrier. Unknown  to him though. He was the one, who is supposed to change. Everything.
