Colgate's Toothpaste Mess
Colgate woke up, but didn't open her eyes. Something was very wrong.
'What could be wrong?' she thought, 'Why do I feel like something awful happened?'
She opened her eyes and saw nothing wrong. She was just lying in her bed above her dentistry.
'Nothing's wrong! Maybe I was just half-dreaming or something like that,'
Colgate walked over to her bedroom door and began to open it with her magic.
'Just a normal day in Ponyville,'
But Colgate's "normal day" went awry when she was suddenly hit with an avalanche of toothpaste.
"What in Equestria?!?" she yelled before being buried in toothpaste.
Colgate squinted her eyes so toothpaste wouldn't get in them. She found a toothpaste-free area and crawled over to it.
'What happened? Did my toothpaste stock explode or something? I don't think I have that much...'
She looked at herself and realized that she was completely covered in toothpaste.
'Oh! I'd better get cleaned up, but how?'
She couldn't see anything to wipe herself off with. Colgate realized that the only way to get out of her house (without destroying it), would to crawl through the toothpaste to get downstairs, as her bedroom had no windows.
'Great. Now I need to crawl through a ton of toothpaste! And once I get out, I need to get somepony to help me get rid of all of this!' she sighed, 'Maybe Princess Twilight could help, but I need to go get her.'
Colgate sighed again, and started "swimming" through all the toothpaste to get to the door to downstairs. She had only gone a few feet, when she sunk into the toothpaste and her view vanished.
'Even better! I need to get to the door without being able to see where I'm going!'
Colgate "swam" blindly through the toothpaste as she tried to find the door.
'Ugh! I'm going to have to wash my mane so many times to get this toothpaste out!'
She finally found the door, and it turned out that there was no toothpaste on the stairs.
'That's odd, I would expect it to be everywhere!'
She walked down the stair as fast as possible. Unfortunately, in her hast she didn't notice the pieces of floss stretched out on one of the stairs.
"Aah!!!" cried Colgate as she tripped and fell down the stairs, "Ouch! Ouch!! Ouch!!!"
She fell down the stairs and landed head-first downstairs, where there was more toothpaste.
'Oh come on!' she thought angrily as she tried to find the door, 'Downstairs, too?'
She ended up crashing into several walls, chairs, and other things.
'Finally, a toothpaste-area!'
Colgate crawled into the clean area and looked around. All she could see was toothpaste, toothpaste, and toothpaste.
"Ugh..." she moaned before raising her voice to a yell, "Whoever did this, you're going to be in so much trouble unless you help me right now!"
She sat in the corner for a minute before something happened.
'Guess nopony heard me... Better keep trying to find the- Aaah!'
Colgate was suddenly lifted into the air by some magic. Before she could look at the aura surrounding her, she was thrown right back into the toothpaste.
"You have got to be kidding me!" yelled Colgate.
She "swam" through the toothpaste angrily, again.
'Grrr....' she thought, 'This is not funny!'
She finally found the door and opened it up. She tumbled out of her house (along with a lot of toothpaste) and landed on the ground.
'Finally, free!'
Colgate tried to get up, but a force dragged her back into her house and shut the door.
"Nooo!!!!!" yelled Colgate as the door closed.
She was about to charge right back towards the door when she was "attacked" by dental floss.
"Aaaah!!!" she yelled as her back hooves were caught by the dental floss.
The dental floss (via magic) was tied to some knickknack on the ceiling as Colgate was just dangling in the air.
'Oh yeah! I can use magic, too!'
Colgate's horn lit up, and she tried to untie the dental floss from either her hooves or the knickknack. The knots were very tight and complicated, so she was getting nowhere.
'That's it!'
Colgate manged to shoot a small blast our of her horn just managed to break through all the dental floss holding her. She landed back in the sea of toothpaste and hit the ground.
'Finally, the flipping floor!'
Colgate slowly walked/"swam" through the toothpaste until she was at the door to her house again. She was about to open it and leap out as fast as possible when she noticed something.
'What's this?' she picked up a small piece of paper on the ground and read it to herself, 'To Do List: Buy lots of toothpaste. Put the toothpaste in Colgate's house. Prank Colgate by flooding her house with toothpaste. Have other ponies help with the prank by doing things that keep Colgate inside.'
Colgate's eyes flashed with anger, what kind of "prank" was flooding somepony's house with toothpaste?!?
'I'm am going to destroy whoever decided to do this prank! But first I need to get out of my house...'
Colgate opened the door, but accidentally knocked herself behind it because she had been standing on the wrong side. The dental floss lashed out again, but Colgate wasn't standing there.
'That gives me an idea!'
She opened the door, staying where she was. Yet again, the dental floss lashed out (who was doing that magic?) but grabbed nopony. Colgate quickly lept out the door and ran around to the back of her house.
'Free!'
She picked up the garden hose and started washing off the toothpaste that was covering her.
"Did Colgate get out?" said a pony's voice from the front of Colgate's house.
Colgate instantly shut off the hose and jumped into a nearby bush to hide.
"I think she did. Dang! This prank is really funny!"
Colgate scowled. It was not funny.
"Look! She left a track of hoofprints! You can see the toothpaste leading behind her house!"
Colgate stayed very quiet and very still as the ponies she had heard came walking around to the back of her house.
"She couldn't have gone far..."
"Look! The toothpaste trail leads over to that bush!"
Colgate jumped out of the bush and ran from the ponies, who turned out to be-
"Pinkie Pie! That was not a funny prank!" she yelled as she ran faster, "Twilight, why were you helping her?!?"
"I wanted to prank you for saying that I might need dentures!" yelled Pinkie.
"I wanted to prank you because you thought I needed braces!" yelled Twilight.
"It's true!" yelled Colgate as she ran through the town with Pinkie and Twilight in her wake.
"Everypony!" called Twilight mischievously, "Today we get to complain to Colgate!"
Next thing Colgate knew, she was being chased by a mob of grumpy ponies.
"I don't have any cavities!"
"I don't need my tooth pulled!"
"I don't need braces!"
"Why do you only give out mint-flavored toothpaste?"
Colgate was running out of breath.
'These ponies are so rude!!!' she thought, 'How am I going to get away from them?!?'
Colgate took a sharp turn and started running towards Twilight's castle.
'Maybe I can lose some of hem in Twilight's castle!'
She dashed up the stairs and ran into Twilight's castle.
"CHARGE!" yelled Twilight from outside.
Colgate ran and ran and ran until she realized how high up she was.
'I should really get downstairs!'
Before Colgate could turn around, a shout came from nearby.
"She's upstairs, everypony!"
Colgate ran up more stairs until she was in he highest part of the castle.
'What do I do?' thought nervously as the ponies came nearer.
She had two options: face a mob of grumpy, angry ponies or jump out the window and pray she landed safely.
"Get her!" yelled the crowd, which was very near.
'Guess I only have one option!' thought Colgate.
She ran towards the window and jumped. She hoped that she she would land safely and closed her eyes as the ground swam near. Sh was about to crash!
But the painful crash never came.
Colgate opened her eyes to see her number one patient carrying her away from the ground and the mob.
"Rainbow Dash! Thank Celestia you came!"
"What was going on?" asked Rainbow Dash as she flew through the air, carrying Colgate on her back.
"Apparently, all the ponies in town decided to prank me and then hunt me down as a mob or something,"
Rainbow slowed down and placed Colgate on a branch of a tall tree. She sat down on another branch.
"Why would they do that?"
"They were all mad about their oral hygiene and stuff like that, but I need to tell them these things! Pinkie will end up with dentures if she's not careful! Twilight needs braces to fix her overbite! I don't understand why they get so upset!"
"Ponies can be really stubborn,"
"She's up in that tree!" called a pony from the ground.
Rainbow and Colgate looked down to see the mob of ponies charging towards the tree that they were in. Colgate jumped on to Rainbow's back.
"I hope that they're over this tomorrow!" said Colgate as Rainbow took off.
"Me too! How upset can these ponies be about their oral health?!?"

I just noticed that Rainbow Dash saves a character in a lot of these stories I write...
