Doctor of the Seas I: Infectivity

When I got back to Kessho, Shining Armor was at the harbor waiting for me. With him was a member of his Dragon Troop, this guard's name was Kori.

"Welcome home, Twilight, Fenikkusu."

"Good to see you, Shining Armor, Kori."

"What happened to your ship?" Said Kori

I explained what happened with the Hydra.

"Well, we can get your ship repaired easily."

"Thanks, Shining Armor. But what do you need me for?"

"Oh, right. Gan has started spreading to Kessho, and it's going crazy!"

Gan was a disease that crippled every bone in the host's body in minutes. It used to be completely isolated on Mura and only spread through short distance air travel, but now it had started spreading across the sea!

I was then sent for a meeting, to discuss Gan.  The meeting featured me, Fenikkusu, Shining Armor, Kori, Kaen(The general of Shining Armor's Dragon Troop), and my sister-in-law Princess Cadence. There was also Dr. Discorded Hooves, if only I knew that he was the creator of Gan.

"It's hard to believe that Gan was able to spread like this" Said Kaen

"True, but we need to figure out how to cure this disease." Said Cadence

"Based on these reports of when each patient was infected, it seems that Gan has been spreading through a longer range of air travel." Said Twilight

"True, but there's still no answer as to how." Said Kori

"What about you, Doc? What's your say in the matter?" Said Cadence

"I say we figure this out from the source, we'll need someone to go to Mura." Said Hooves

"I'd have to agree, Maru may contain the info we need." Said Fenikkusu

We all settled that Fenikkusu and I would sail to Maru to learn more on the matter, with the aid of the Dragon Troop.
