I am broken
Today. A thousand stars die with her. Billions, and billions of burning balls of light have been slaughtered as they sleep with their mother. When the moon rises tonight, there will be no song from the heavens. There will only be unearthly silence, as if lunar harmony itself has been hurled out of balance.
Tomorrow. The moon will not rise. The Princess is dead. Her night falls with her glory and her people walk the land with hooded grief. Only the sister, the sun, stands tall. She must lead a shattered kingdom through a realm of darkness that belongs to shadows unknown.
Yesterday. A land of beauty, a land of treasure and new places to see, to explore. A land united with the magic of friendship and the songs of every pony that walks every plain, every path, every concrete floor that five holy beings of wing, hoof, and horn rule divinely upon and over.
Yesterday, I was one. Tomorrow, I am none. Today, I am broken.
