Chapter 1: A Decision Is Made Part 1
The next morning was a little bit different for the Pie family. They would usually wake up and work in the mines for most of the day.
However, because of last night's "incident", they immediately went to the train station to go and bail Limestone out of jail. Pinkie even tagged along. She actually spent the night at the rock farm so she could comfort Marble. She did manage to contact the Cakes and let them know that she would come in later on in the mid afternoon. She had to be here to see Limestone. Maud, on the other hoof, did not tag along. One, because she had a rock research trip, and Two, she just couldn't bear to see what was going to happen once they bailed her out. She knew it was going to be ugly.
They were taking a train to Ponyville Police Department, or the PPD for short. They actually were nervous about what was going to happen. Would Limestone be angry with them even more, or would she be crying and begging them to never send her to a place like that again?
"We better be ready for what is about to happen." Igneous Rock said. "We don't know how Limestone is going to react to us. Let's just hope she isn't still too angry with us."
"Are you kidding? Limestone is going to be furious with us." Pinkie exclaimed.
"Pinkamena dear, we must not automatically guess what happens, until it happens. Perhaps Limestone will be regretful for what happened last night." Cloudy Quartz said.
"I highly doubt it after she nearly destroyed our house simply because she didn't get her rock soup. She is at fault here, not us. And especially not me. I was just standing up for myself. I would dump that bowl on her head again." Pinkie exclaimed.
"That was the reason she snapped in the first place. We could have handled it differently had you not acted so irrational." Cloudy exclaimed.
"Momma, she threatened you. I wouldn't call that irrational. I would call it giving her what she deserved." Pinkie said.
As Pinkie and her mother were bickering back and forth, a unicorn mare, who was sitting a few seats away from them, couldn't help but listen in on this conversation. Apparently, the mare these two were arguing about must have pretty bad anger issues, considering she got arrested for a domestic disturbance. This mare was wearing a casual button sweater and had business khaki's. She had a light orange coat with a strawberry-blonde mane. Her cutie mark resembled a clipboard with a paper on it and a pen writing on the paper. So this mare must have been good with taking notes or with anything business related. And as she listened in on this conversation, she started to walk toward them, even though the two ponies were having an argument with each other.
"Excuse me?" The mare said, politely interrupting them.
This caused Pinkie and her mother to stop arguing and look at the mare. Of course Pinkie Pie was the first to speak, seeing as how she was so eager to meet new ponies.
"Who are you stranger?" Pinkie asked.
"Hello, my name is Summer, and I couldn't help but overhear your conversation about this Limestone Pie."
"Unfortunately yes." Igneous replied. "Our daughter was arrested last night because she lost her temper and destroyed some things in our home. Why do you ask?"
"What if I told you that I know how I can solve this situation without your daughter spending any jail time?" Summer asked.
"You know a way?" Cloudy asked eagerly.
"Yes. You see, I am an anger management teacher. I've been doing it for almost 5 years now. And every pony I've had in my class, they have walked out, knowing how to control their anger better." Summer exclaimed.
"Really? That is great. But why are you telling us this?" Pinkie asked.
"Because this Limestone you speak of seems to have anger problems pretty badly. So what I'm offering to you is a 12 week class, every Wednesday for an hour and a half, where I can help her, and several other classmates, on how to control their anger better. My classes start next week. For only 18 bits every month. I even have my card here." She said as she handed Pinkie the card, which had her phone number and fax number on it.
"This actually sounds kinda nice." Pinkie said.
"Actually, I think that plan sounds very good as well." Cloudy said.
"I too think this sounds like a good idea, although I don't think Limestone will like it very much." Igneous said.
"Mmmhmm." Marble said, like she usually does.
"That sounds great. And I even think the police will like it too." Summer said.
Then the train was coming to a stop. It was actually in Ponyville.
"Well there's my stop." Summer said.
"Wait. You live in Ponyville?" Pinkie exclaimed.
"Yes. Why?" Summer asked.
" I live in Ponyville too. Oh I totally forgot to introduce myself. My name is Pinkie Pie. And this is my daddy Igneous Rock, this is my mommy Cloudy Quartz, and this is my sister Marble Pie. I'm going to have to catch up with you when I have my free time." Pinkie said excitedly.
"Well I look forward to it Pinkie. Well see you later." Summer said as she bid the family farewell leaving the train going into Ponyville.
Then the train left again. It's next stop was going to be where they were going to bail Limestone out of jail. And as the train left, Igneous and Cloudy thought about this deal more and more.
To the point where Igneous finally said "I am going to sign Limestone up for these classes. She may not like it, but it will help her in the near future. Are you all in agreement on this?" He asked.
"I definitely am." Pinkie said.
"I am in agreement too." Cloudy said.
"Mmmhmm." Marble said, meaning that she agreed to it.
"Then it's settled. When we get to the police station, we will lay this out to the officers, and get Limestone ready for Anger management classes next week." Igneous replied.
The train then stopped at the the next stop. This was it. This was going to make Limestone a very unhappy mare. But it is a chance to help her problem. So maybe she'll understand. More likely, probably not though. Oh this was going to be something.

Hey guys I know it's been a while since I've updated, but I've had work, and a major case of writer's block. This probably isn't the best of what I've written, but it's at least still something. So I'll update as best as I can from now on.

Chapter 2: A Decision Is Made Part 2
The train finally made it's stop to the Ponyville Police Department, or the PPD for short. Pinkie and her family had just gotten off the train and headed inside. As they walked inside, a sudden chill ran down Marble's spine. She was in a place where criminals were kept away from society. It really creeped her out. Pinkie noticed this and attempted to comfort her twin sister.
"It's okay Marble. I know this place is kinda scary. But nothing bad is going to happen. I Pinkie promise." She said as she crossed her heart with her hoof, made a flying bird motion, and then put her hoof to her eye, signaling her Pinkie promise.
This made Marble smile. She could always count on her twin sister to make her feel better. Even when they were fillies, she could always count on Pinkie to make her laugh or feel better about a bad situation.
As they walked up to the front desk, they saw a police pony in uniform. He was a rather chubby stallion. Around his early to mid thirties. He had a frizzy orange mane, an orangish-black coat, and a frizzy black tail. He also had a desk with a computer on it as a cutie mark. He was also eating a donut. Scratch that. Eating FIVE donuts with a hot chocolate. He seems to be enjoying his food.
"Excuse me sir?" Igneous Rock said with Cloudy Quartz right next to him.
The desk pony stopped his eating. And looked at Igneous and his wife. When he looked at them, he had a little frosting on his face and a hot chocolate mustache on his lip. He was smiling and looked so full of life. He looked like he loved his job as a desk pony for the police.
"Hello sir. My name is Long John Wiggum. What can I do for you guys?" He asked with a bubbly personality.
"I am Igneous Rock Pie and this my wife Cloudy Quartz. We are here to pick up my daughter Limestone Pie." He said.
"Her huh? Man was she a hoof-full last night. I mean that girl was squirming all over the place and almost fought with Nightstick. Thankfully, he's an extremely patient stallion." He said as he was getting the paperwork for Limestone's release.
"She fought with the other police officers?" Cloudy said sounding very surprised at her daughter's actions. She knew now Limestone needed help with controlling her anger.
"She fought the best she could. Seeing as how she was hoof-cuffed the whole time. Nightstick had to use his taser just to restrain her. That put her out for enough time for us to put her in her cell." He said as he now put the paperwork in front of them.
"Taser gun? They had to use that?" Marble said as she sounded scared because of what her sister went through last night. She even had a tear run down her eye in sadness and guilt as well.
Long John noticed this and attempted to comfort her. "Hey we only did it for her own good. It wasn't anything personal. Alright. So don't look so sad kiddo. Everything is okay." He said with a warm-hearted smile on his face.
This caused Pinkie to smile as well. "See Marble. Nothing to be afraid of." She said as she patted her twin on the back.
"Hey I know you. Your Pinkie Pie. The party pony from Ponyville. It's so nice to meet you." He said with a smile on his face and a hoof extended to her, so she would take it and shake hoofs with him.
She extended her hoof and shook hoofs with him as well. "Yep. That's me. It's nice to meet other ponies, even though they already know who you are." She said as she also had a smile on her face.
"Well it's nice to meet such a famous pony like you Pinkie."
"Thanks."
As Pinkie and Long John were talking, Igneous and Cloudy had already signed the paperwork, making Limestone's release from prison legitimate. They handed Long John the completed paperwork.
He looked over the paperwork, making sure everything was finalized.
"Alright. Everything looks all well and good. Now go down this hallway-" he said as he pointed to the hallway on his left "and go to the office on the right where Frostbite's office is. He'll want to know what your going to do once Limestone is released. Like if you want her to do community service or under house arrest. Something like that." He explained.
"Alright. Thank you very much kind sir." Cloudy said sweetly as she and the rest of her family walked with her.
As they walked down the hallway, Igneous spoke on what he thought would be a good idea for Limestone.
"I think it would be wise if we took Miss Summer's offer for this anger management class. Limestone needs to learn how to control her temper. What do you all think?" He asked his wife and daughters.
"I am in agreement. These classes may be useful for Limestone in the future." Cloudy said.
"Yeah, Limey needs to learn how to chill out. I'm with you on this anger management thing." Pinkie said.
"Mmhmm." Marble hummed, agreeing with what her family said.
"So it's official. Limestone is going to anger management classes. Whether she likes it or not." Igneous said.
So the Pie family went to Frostbite's office, explaining what they wanted to be done. Frostbite agreed and the deal was done. Limestone was set up to take anger management classes starting next week Thursday. They went and got Limestone bailed out of her jail cell. And after a horrible night in jail, getting tased, sleeping on a horrible bed, and not getting breakfast, you could probably guess Limestone wasn't in a good mood. Especially toward Pinkie. But now hearing that she now has to take anger management classes starting next week, well you can probably guess she didn't like what she heard from them.
"ANGER MANAGEMENT? WHAT?" Limestone screamed at her family with rage in her eyes.
"Yes. You have to learn how to control your temper Limestone. You broke our windows and dinner table, you flipped over our couch, and now Marble is terrified of you. Look at her. All just because you didn't get your dinner on time." Igneous said as he pointed to Marble who was hiding behind her twin sister, trying to avoid Limestone's gaze.
Limestone was shocked at this. They were wrong. Marble wasn't scared. She was just playing. Wasn't she? "Marble come on. He doesn't mean that right. You know I'd never do anything to hurt you. Right?" She said as she extended a hoof to her.
But Marble avoided the hoof by backing more into Pinkie. As if she was trying to morph with her.
Limestone looked hurt. She couldn't believe her sweet baby sister was scared of her now. She wasn't THAT bad, was she?
"See. She's scared of you because you yelled at her and then destroyed things in our home. You have an anger problem Limey. And you need help." Pinkie said very sternly. "We love you, but you need this, cause you have a problem."
"Yes. We are doing this to help you. You may not like it, but it is for the best." Cloudy said also looking very sternly.
Limestone had her head down in shame. Did she have a problem THAT bad? She never even thought that she had anger problems. She just always thought that she wasn't afraid of anypony or anything and if they made her mad, she wouldn't back down from them.
She even thought back to last night. Now she though that maybe she overreacted a little bit. Even the soup Pinkie threw on her kinda seemed justified. She was taking out her frustrations on her family. Her family that, even though they got on her nerves most of the time, loved more than anything else in the whole world. Even though she didn't want to take these classes, she realized now she had no choice it was these classes or more jail time.
Limestone sighed and said "Fine. I'll take the stupid classes. But I'm only doing it because I guess I have no choice. DO I?" She yelled on that last part, which made Marble shiver a little bit in fear.
"Nope. Now come on. Let's get going. I gotta get back to Ponyville for work tomorrow." Pinkie said as she hoped to the exit while her family followed behind her.
As Limestone walked with her family, she thought about how much she didn't want to do this. But she realized she had to or else there would be more jail time for her. She knew that starting next week, things were going to be different in her life now. The only question was would they change for the good or the bad? She would just have to find out.

Chapter 3: Anger Management Classes Begin Part 1
The next day, Limestone took a train to Ponyville where the anger management classes were to take place. She SO did not want to do this, but she also didn't want to do community service OR spend any MORE time in jail. So she had no choice, and even if she did, her family would keep nagging her on and on about how she needs to control her temper.
However, Limestone didn't believe she had a temper, foolishly so. She believed that she was a tough mare who didn't take crap from anypony. No matter who it was. And she wasn't afraid to speak her mind, or get in somepony's face if they did something to either annoy her, or piss her off. That wasn't having anger management issues....right?
So eventually, Limestone came to the building where the classes were going to take place. It was a rather small building. Kinda old, but not too old. On the inside it looked fairly decent. No stripping of wallpaper, no holes in the wall, or anything signifying it needed a remodel. But Limestone knew it was old just by looking at it. She knew this because of the antiques her mother had on the farm, some she might have broken after her little outburst. It was a pretty okay place to hold classes, although she would've preferred something a little bigger.
She walked into the room where the classes were and saw the other ponies who were going to take part in this class.
One was an earth-pony stallion who was rather muscular and well-built. Around his late twenties. He was about 6'7, 310 lbs. He had a pitch black coat with a spiky silver mane and tail, and had an open book with a pen writing in it as a cutie mark. He actually had a notebook and pen on him and was writing in it. What could he be writing?
Another was a pegasus mare who had a slim and curvy body. She looked like she just graduated high school. She looked very attractive. She was 5'9, 207 lbs. She had a brown coat with a reddish pink mane and tail that was stylized to look "fabulous". She had a dress making cutie mark. She was currently on her phone doing whatever anypony with a phone does.
Also, we had an earth-pony mare who was somewhat over-weight and chubby. She was around her forties. She was about 6'1, 268 lbs. She had a brown mane and tail that looked like she needed a mane-cut, while having a light teal coat. She had a computer cutie mark. She was reading a book
Next, there was a unicorn stallion who was kinda skinny and looked like he never lifted weights or ate a whole lot. He also looked like he was in his early twenties. About 6'4, 195 lbs. He had a tan coat with a blond mane and tail. His cutie mark was a song note. He also had glasses on. He was listening to music on his phone.
Lastly, there was a pegasus stallion, who looked like he was still in high school. 6'2, 215 lbs. He was probably 18 or at least turning 18 in a little bit. He had a leather jacket on. And a face that said "Who the f are you looking at" to any authoritative figure. Looked like he didn't want to be there, like Limestone. He had a blood red coat with a black mane with tints of light red in it, and a black tail. His cutie mark was a Greek drama mask. He was just sitting there hunched over in a chair, waiting for Summer to arrive and get these classes over with.
So Limestone walked in, and sat at the only chair that was available. That chair was next to the muscular stallion. She didn't say anything and neither did he. No pony did for a couple more minutes until finally Summer arrived in the room to begin the session with everypony. She sat down in the chair facing everypony and greeted them.
"Hello everypony. My name is Summer. Welcome to Anger Management. I'm here today because you all struggle with controlling your anger. And that is why I'm here to help." She said very enthusiastic.
Limestone then raised her hoof.
"Yes?" Summer asked.
Limestone put her hoof down and said "I don't have anger problems okay. I'm just being forced into this. I just react when somepony gets me annoyed. I am perfectly calm." She said looking rather annoyed.
"That's great. So let's begin with a role-call." That irked Limestone a little bit. She just ignored what she said about her NOT having anger problems. "I want all of you to tell me your name, your birthday, and something about yourself. Let's go clockwise." She then looked to her left and sitting next to her was the chubby mare. "You go first. Hello, as I said, my name is Summer and you are?" She said with a smile on her face.
The chubby mare, with kind of a depressed look on her face, stood up and said "My name is Hard Drive. My birthday is May 19th. And I work as a health IT specialist."
Everypony noticed she looked kinda sad saying what she said.
"Okay. It's nice to meet you Hard Drive. Please take your seat." Hard Drive then sat down. "Okay, you next." She said to the pony next to Hard Drive, which was the skinny stallion. He looked rather timid and shy when he stood up.
"Um, hi everypony. My name is Bass Clef, my birthday is November 2nd, and I'm in a choir group in Madneighson." He said kinda quietly, but loud enough for everypony to hear.
"Nice to meet you Bass. I love choir concerts. I go to all of my daughter Autumn's concerts. Maybe if I hear about one of yours coming to town, I'll check it out." She said with a smile on her face.
Bass smiled as well and then sat down. He was glad to get a compliment from somepony about his choir work.
The next one to stand up was the slim and curvy mare. She looked very calm and was smiling. She looked like she was in a good mood. Why was she here then if she looked happy? If she was mad, what kinds of things would happen?
"Hello everypony, my name's Jem Bedazzle, my birthday is January 14th, and I am a huge fan of Miss Rarity. She is my idol. I want to open up my own fashion store one day and sell and make dresses just like her." She said with excitement in her eye.
"That's quite a big goal you have for yourself. I hope you accomplish your dream one day." Summer said supportively.
"Oh thank you. That means a lot." She said as she sat down with a smile on her face.
The next one was the pony with the leather jacket. He looked kinda smug and, frankly, kinda arrogant. Like he thought he was the coolest pony in the world. There was just this air about him that made him look a bit unlikable.
"Sup, I'm Brick, my birthdays March 8th, and what I like is YOU, Summer." He said with an arrogant smile on his face looking at her. He just hit on his anger management teacher.
She had an annoyed look on her face. Oh great, it's one of THOSE students.
"It's nice to meet you Brick, but please keep your flirting to yourself. We need to be professional here." Summer said very sternly.
Brick just smiled all cocky like, sat down and said "Okay, whatever you say pretty lady." Again very arrogant-like. He also winked at her, flirtatious like. Summer, again, just looked annoyed that she was hit on by a high school student.
Next up was the muscular stallion. He looked pretty intense. Like he was about to give a big speech that he wrote for months and when the time came for him to speak, he would get nervous and you could easily see it.
"Hello everypony, I'm Silver Thriller, my birthday's July 19th and I like to write stories. I've always wanted to write my own stories ever since I was a kid, but I've been having a bad case of writer's block for a while now." He said. His voice was a little loud and, like his body language, pretty intense. Now this looked like a guy that you didn't want to piss off. By any means.
"Nice to meet you Silver. I'm sure you'll definitely get an idea sooner or later." She said attempting to give him a boost of confidence.
"Well I hope I do." He said as he sat back down. He kinda looked like he was a little to hard on himself. Maybe that's the reason why he looks so intense.
Limestone was up next.
"Your looking at Limestone Pie, my birthday is August 10th, and I like to run my rock farm. Which is something I'm not doing right now because I'm here being forced to take this class." She said very grumpy like.
"So your Limestone Pie. Its nice to finally meet you." Summer said nicely.
"Yeah. My family said your the one who suggested I go to anger management classes after my idiot sister got me arrested. Your the one who opened her big mouth." Limestone said very rudely.
"Well yes I did, but I did it for a good cause." She said trying to make a case for herself.
"Yeah, well you still did this and now I'm stuck doing this for a while now. So thanks Summer. Thank you so much." Limestone said very sarcastically. She then sat down with a scowl on her face.
Summer realized this maybe harder than she thought. She went back to her seat in front of everypony.
"Well now that we all know a little bit about each other, why don't we start talking about what makes us angry." Summer said. "I want all of you to know that sharing is very helpful for somepony. Not only to help get some things off their chest, but because it relives stress and anxiety when you feel like your bottling things up. So I want all of you to tell me, as well as everypony here, what is it that makes you angry." Summer said as she got out a clipboard with a few pieces of paper on it. She also brought out a pen.
"Now who would like to go first?" Summer asked.
Now this didn't make Limestone happy at all. She was a tough mare who never talked about her feelings. She didn't need to. She could easily just brush them off no problem. She didn't need this...Right?
She just knew this was going to be torture for a long time.

Jem Bedazzle was the one who raised her hoof first.
"Okay Jem. So tell us: What makes you angry?" Summer asked as she prepared to write down everything she was about to say.
Jem, the pony who was smiling earlier, now frowned and looked a little bummed out.
"Well Miss Summer, usually I'm always in a good mood. I don't get mad that often. When I do, I tend to say things that I end up regretting later on. In other words, when I get mad, I GET MAD. "
"Well what exactly is it that makes you go from being a happy to angry?" Summer asked.
"Well remember when I said that I wanna be just like Miss Rarity? And run a shop like her?"
Summer nodded.
"Well I've applied at many fashion stores to work at. And I put everything I had into the applications. Skills, physical abilities, everything. But no matter how much I put into this applications, no store has ever hired me. And it doesn't help the fact that I work at a job that I hate so much." She said looking frustrated.
"Where do you work?" Summer asked as she was jotting down notes.
"I work in a musty old factory. A letter factory. Where I do THE SAME THING everyday. It's so boring. And it's even worse because I don't like anypony there and can't talk to anypony there."
"What do you mean you can't talk to anypony? Talk about what?" Summer asked.
"About how I'm feeling. I get rejected from fashion stores all the time. And because everyone there is either a creep, a jerk, or just untrustworthy, I can't talk to them about it, because they don't care enough to listen. Not to mention I get into arguments with my co-workers almost every day. And then that results in my boss, that asshole that he is, giving me a big lecture about how I need to learn to get along with my co-workers, or I'll be fired. Yet he hasn't fired me, and I STILL get into fights with every pony. Not to mention, when I'm on the phone with my mom, me and her get into arguments about how I need to stay at my job because it's a "real job", and being a fashionista isn't work at all. And I don't have any friends to talk to because I moved here from Baltimore after I graduated high school and lost all contacts with my girlfriends. Oh, and I can't seem to get a Colt friend either. It's like everyday I just can't catch a break, no matter how hard I work, or how optimistic I try to be." She said as she looked down with a frown on her face.
"It's just so frustrating. I hate it. And it just makes me angry. And when I get angry, I do things I don't like." She said looking sad, and even having a single tear run down her eye.
"That was very good sharing Jem. So from what I have gathered from my notes, I feel like the reason you get angry, is because of frustration and loneliness." Summer said to her.
"Yeah, I am alone. I just want some pony to listen to me. And for some pony to give me a chance at being what I so want to be in life. I also just want to make some friends too." She said.
"Well we are here to listen to you and help you with your problems. Not just me, we all work together as a team. So if you ever need to talk to some pony, all of us are here." Summer said to her very heart-warming.
Jem smiled and thanked her.
"Now, from what Jem has told us, frustration and loneliness is something that can make us angry. Because we feel like we want to be accepted by everypony. So has anypony else here been frustrated to the point where they became very angry?" Summer asked the class.
Hard Drive raised her hoof.
"Hard Drive, what has made you frustrated to the point where you became very angry?" Summer asked.
"Well Miss Summer, I have to confess it isn't just frustration I have, it's also depression." She said as she looked very sad.
"Depression? That actually sounds very serious. Tell us, how long have you had problems with depression?"
She looked very sad again as she said "Ever since my husband left me." She looked on the verge of tears. Thankfully, Summer had a tissue box and levitated it over to her. Hard Drive took one and dabbed her eyes. She thanked Summer for the tissue.
"It was about 3 years ago. Me and my husband Golden Compass....ex-husband now I guess...were married for about 7 years, and before that had been together for 5. We met on a blind date that my sister Screenshot had set up. We really hit it off that night. We talked, laughed and just, overall, enjoyed each other's company. After that we went on many other dates. After about 5 years of dating, he proposed to me. And of course I said yes. We got married at Madneighson Church, and had a wonderful reception. Then after about a year of being married, I found out the most wonderful news: I was pregnant with my daughter Golden Glitter. I remember the day she was born. Him and I were so happy. We finally had the best life we possibly could. At least that's what I thought it was." She said as she got out another tissue and dabbed her eyes that were starting to get watery again. Jem, Bass and Summer looked very sorry for her, because they knew this story wasn't going to end well. Silver just had a blank expression on his face. And Brick and Limestone just looked like they didn't care.
"What happened after Glitter was born?" Summer asked.
"For the first two years it was great. He was a wonderful father to her. Until he got a new job offer. He worked at a travel agency. Then one day he tells me about a new position his boss offered him. It was extra hours for even more money than he was already making. He was making $11.50 an hour. Now with this position, he was making $14.25 an hour." Hard Drive explained.
"Well isn't that a good thing?" Summer asked.
"Well it would be if he was home more. His original position had him have more time at home. Now this position, he was barely home anymore. And when he was, he wouldn't want to spend time with me or Glitter. He'd just want to relax and watch TV. I put up with that, and him, for about 2 years until I told him to go back to his old position. Because I needed him at home more. To help out with Glitter. And he wouldn't do it. He said this position is better because of the money. We fought a lot because of that. Then one day, out of nowhere, he told me he decided to go back to his old position. I was happy at first, but then I had a sneaking suspicion that something was up. After that, we went back to being happy together. It's like the past 3 years didn't happen. Until one year later when I found out the truth." Hard Drive explained as she started getting angry and sad at the same time.
"What did he do?" Summer asked.
"I went to the travel agency to bring him lunch to surprise him. And I...." She trailed off. Her hoofs were clenched with anger and had tears running down her eyes.
"What? Summer asked.
"I found him CHEATING ON ME WITH A YOUNGER MARE . She looked like she was only 19. And was dressed like a total whore. And I as soon as I saw that, and he did see me, I ran out in tears. Heartbroken. Some pony I thought loved me for so many years, betrayed me for some whore. And I also found out he had been doing that ever since he went back to his old shift. He had been cheating on me for 2 years. He didn't have the guts to just tell me he wanted a divorce. I thought he wanted to be together forever. With me. But it was all just a lie." Hard Drive cried her eyes out as she finished her story. Jem and Bass came over to her chair and put their hooves on her back to comfort her.
"I'm sorry that happened to you Hard Drive. But, not to be rude, but what does that have to do with you being here?" Summer asked.
"I WAS GETTING TO THAT!" She said angrily, but then soon realized her mistake and apologized for her outburst.
"After him and I got a divorce, I was given custody of Glitter. But I was so depressed after the divorce, I didn't want to do anything. I lost my job as a home security operator, because I......came to work drunk one day, and got into an altercation with one of my co-workers. So that depressed me more. And because I had no job, I started gaining weight. I used to be 225 lbs. Now I weight 269 lbs. But the worst thing was how I treated my daughter." She said sadly.
"What did you do?" Summer said. Jem and Bass still had they're hooves on her back for support.
"I became abusive toward her. I admit I yelled at her for nothing, I called her name's, and I even, on only a couple occasions, hit her. I still can't believe I did that. Then one night, I got so angry at her, and I don't even remember what it was, that I hit her. But I hit her so hard I broke her nose. After I did it, I called the cops on myself. I was in jail for 3 weeks. Glitter stayed, and actually is still staying, with my sister. I knew when I did that to her, I knew I needed help. Not just for my depression, but my anger. That's why I came here. Cause I'm a horrible mother, and I need help." She said looking as sad and depressed as ever.
"So your going to therapy as well as this class?" Summer asked.
"Yes. I'm seeing Dr. Nocturne." Hard Drive said.
"Oh that is actually a very good one to have. He's truly a great doctor." Summer said.
Hard Drive nodded in agreement.
"Well, Miss Hard Drive, I can see that what makes you angry is that you feel betrayed and have stayed feeling angry about the betrayal. Mainly cause you haven't truly expressed how you feel about it. I feel that you also feel not only hurt by this, but also frustrated by the fact that you have changed as a pony as well, and really want to be yourself again. However, you find it difficult to after everything you've gone through. Do you think I'm right about that?" Summer asked.
"I think so. I don't want to be bitter about my divorce, but everytime I do, I just get angry. Its not like me to be depressed and sad. But I don't know how to get over it." Hard Drive explained.
"Well, to be honest Hard Drive, I don't think anypony can "get over it." I think, ultimately, they just come to accept it. They eventually learn that what happened happened and it's all in the past." Summer said.
Hard Drive smiled. She thanked Summer for her words of wisdom. She also hugged Jem and Bass, thanking them for the comfort they gave her. They hugged back and went back to their seats.
"And let me say one more thing before we move on. Hard Drive, I don't think your a horrible mother. I just think you have a hard time controlling your emotions. And it has made you act out in ways you don't want to act. I am a mother as well, and I know I'm not a perfect mother. I have had moments where I wish I could've done something different when raising her. So your not alone in thinking that. So I suggest you talk to your daughter, apologize to her, and most of all, forgive yourself for your actions. Cause when you do that, it makes you one step closer to getting better. I truly believe it will help you for your sake and your daughter's sake." Summer explained with a heart-warming smile on her face.
Hard Drive also smiled as she said "I will. It will take a while, but I promise I will."
"Good. Now lets continue. Who wants to go next?" Summer asked.
Bass Clef raised his hoof.
"Okay, Bass. What is it that makes you angry?" She asked.
"Well Miss Summer, what makes me angry is my brother High Note. He's also in my choir group." Bass said.
"What is it about him that makes you angry?" Summer asked as she had her notepad out.
"Because he always beats me at everything. I mean, Monday through Friday it's the same thing. I work hard, and he gets a better part then I do in the group. He always gets all the glory. I just don't get it. And it makes me angry. And when I get angry, bad things happen. The reason why I'm here is because after he got a part better than me again, I got into a fight with him. Gave him a black eye. He didn't press charges. Only wanted me to come here to calm my anger problems. And I agree I have an anger problem, but I still feel angry at him. And I feel bad for being angry." Bass explained feeling bad for himself.
"That was good sharing Bass. I also have a sibling. An older sister. Her name's Winter. And I remember I used to feel jealous when she would get things that I didn't. Does anypony here have a sibling they have had problems with?" Summer asked as she looked around.
Limestone did not want to be called on. But, unfortunately, she was.
"Limestone, I know you have three sisters. So why don't you tell us if you've ever been jealous of them or not?" Summer said.
Limestone looked straight at Bass as she spoke to him. She spoke in her usual mean and loud voice.
"You really think YOUR brother is bad? Let me tell you about my IDIOT sister Pinkie Pie. She leaves the rock farm because all she wants to do is party and not work on the farm that she was raised on and leave me, Maud and Marble, her twin sister mind you, to do all the work ourselves. Then she comes by one night, and after a hard day's work, all I wanted was some rock soup and to go to bed. But she starts shit and dumps soup on my head, getting me pissed off, which causes me to destroy my home, AND GETTING ME ARRESTED and spending a night in jail. Oh and I also got tased as well. Do any of you guys know what it's like to be tased? I'm sure you don't. But I do. And it's not fun. At all. Oh, and then after I get bailed out, I'm forced to take this stupid class with all of you ponies." Limestone ranted as she looked at her classmates, who now had their head down in shame.
"THAT is a bad sibling. She just gets to go skipping around Ponyville all day without a care in the world, when I'm stuck here with you idiots." Limestone said very angrily.
"Limestone, can we please refrain from name-calling?" Summer asked.
"Anything your gonna do to make me? You all are idiots and I hate you." Limestone said angrily.
Brick then got up in Limestone face. This looked bad.
"You wanna call me an idiot one more time you bitch?" He asked trying to intimidate her.
"Yeah your an idiot. What are you gonna do, hit a girl? I dare you pretty boy." She said angrily.
Then Brick did something no pony saw coming: he pulled out a pocket-knife and held it up to her.
"Come on. Say it bitch. I'll fucking gut you right here." Brick said threatening her.
"Bring it on loser." Limestone yelled.
Now everypony looked terrified, until Silver Thriller grabbed Brick from behind, restraining him from attacking her.
"THAT IS ENOUGH! EVERYPONY SIT DOWN NOW!" Summer yelled looking very scary as hell.
Limestone was surprised at her reaction. She did as she was told.
"First off thank you Silver for doing that. Second, Brick you will never do that again. Now give me the knife. NOW." Summer said loudly.
"But she-" Brick started.
"I said NOW." Summer said loudly again.
Brick handed her his pocket-knife.
"And third, Limestone, there was no reason for you to start that. So, for your punishment, you will write an "I'm sorry" essay for Brick for next week's session." Summer said to her.
"WHAT! WHY?" Limestone said, feeling pissed off.
"Because you started this, now you finish it right. And that is final." Summer said, as she went back to her seat.
"I think that is all the time we have for today. I look forward to seeing you all next week. Especially you Limestone and Brick." Summer said as she bid the class farewell, while giving a stinker to Brick and Limestone.
Everypony left the premise.
Limestone groaned as she knew now that she messed up big time. She started a fight on her first day of anger management classes. Guess now she wasn't gonna get a chance to make a good impression, because Summer was pissed at her.
This whole week was going to be stressful. And she knew it wasn't going to get any better.
Limestone Goes to Anger Management Classes
Chapter 5: Pinkie Comes to Visit, Again.
Limestone took a train back to the rock farm. And on her way back to said farm, she thought about everything that happened back there at her class. She almost got into a fight with one of her classmates, Brick.
She REALLY messed up big time.
Granted, Brick pulling the knife on her was too far, but she realized she did start everything, and Miss Summer finished it. Now she was going to have to write an essay to a pony whom she almost got into a fight with.
This almost felt like when she was a filly, when she was home-schooled by her mother, mainly because Cloudy and Igneous couldn't afford school at the time, before they managed to enroll Maud into Geology school. And when she WAS home-schooled, her mother would give out assignments for them, so they would be educated enough to know about the outside world.
With this, however, Limestone was a fully grown mare, and was forced to do this as a punishment for starting a fight for the simple reason of being pissed off.
Right now, she wasn't pissed off, she was just frustrated.
Eventually, the train came to a stop at the station that was near her the farm. She walked over to the farm, only to notice that Pinkie Pie's wagon was outside the house.
OH NO! She was visiting again. For what, she didn't know.
Limestone didn't want to go in, because she was worried that something might escalate again like a couple nights ago. So she creeped up to the house and stared through the window.
She noticed the family was having a good time. Without her. They were smiling, laughing, and just having a good time all around. It seemed like they would probably have they're fun ruined if she came in and joined them.
It really hurt her to see this. Did they not love her anymore, because she got arrested? Were they scared of her, because of her temper? Was she really THAT bad?
A tear rolled down her eye as she saw what was going on. She wanted to be a part of that too. She wanted to have nice family meals together. She wanted to talk, laugh and have a good time with the family. She wanted, basically, to just be accepted.
It was at this point, she knew, that Miss Summer's advice was true. Being frustrated, sad and depressed, lonesome, and just wanting to be accepted, and never BEING accepted, can make a pony angry. And, maybe, this was why she was angry. Being left out. It hurt her. And, in the process, makes her angry. And when that happens, she acts out in ways, she never would have thought she would.
When she was at the class, hearing all her classmates tell their stories, she just thought they were pathetic, with just as pathetic sob stories. But know, maybe they were onto something.
She knew she had to fix this problem. She know she needed to control her anger better.
But first, she needed to apologise to her family.
So she walked up to the door and knocked on it. She heard hoof steps coming to the door. And the pony who opened the door was her mother Cloudy Quartz Pie, who happily greeted Limestone.
"Hello Limestone. Welcome back. Dinner is on the table, all nice and warm for you. Come join us." Cloudy said happily, as she escorted her daughter into the house.
Limestone walked in and headed toward the table. She sat down with every pony, including Pinkie Pie. Marble smiled, but also had a scared look on her face as well, remembering what happened a couple nights ago.
"Hi Limey, how was Anger Management?" She asked very curiosly.
Limestone figured she should tell the truth. They would know if she was lying.
"Not good. I almost got into a fight with a classmate named Brick, cause I called every pony in class an idiot, and he got offended." Limestone said looking down in the dumps.
Every pony groaned.
"Why would you refer to a foalish trait in that, Limestone? Your better than that." Igneous said.
"Cause I was angry at being in these classes when I didn't wanna be." She said. "Oh and he pulled a pocket-knife on me too. Just thought you guys should know that."
"WHAT?" Every pony explained.
"Did he hurt you?" Cloudy asked looking very concerned for her oldest daughter's well being.
"No. Silver Thriller restrained him, but now, since I started it, I have to write an "I'm sorry essay" for starting a fight for a poor reason. Lucky me, huh?" She said looking less-than-amused.
"Well, Limey, you did start it, so expect consequences. I'm sorry, but she did do this for your own good." Pinkie said sternly.
"Oh, then shouldn't YOU get a punishment to? You were the one that dumped that bowl of soup on my head, which caused me to get pissed off and break things in this house. So why aren't you punished?" Limestone asked angrily.
Marble Pie hid herself the best she could, seeing as how she knew want was going to happen next.
"I think you deserved it after you scared Marble half to death after yelling at her like you did." Pinkie argued.
"Well, she should've told me Pa told her to work on something else, instead of just dropping it all together." Limestone argued back.
Marble let out a faint, but visible, whimper. She knew this was going to be bad.
"It happens all the time Limey. Even when we were fillies, it was always like that. I thought you'd get used to it by now." Pinkie said fairly.
"Well I don't care. Next time, you TELL ME. GOT IT?" Limestone screamed.
"Yeah, try and make me." Pinkie said, not backing down.
"THAT IS ENOUGH! BOTH OF YOU SIT DOWN RIGHT THIS SECOND!" Igneous' voice booked through the house.
Limestone and Pinkie looked horrified. They immediately sat down at the table.
"You two are going to settle this right now." Igneous said very loudly.
"First off, Limestone, you are the oldest of your sisters, so you should know better than to react this way to them. Like I said, your better than that. And right now, I'm very dissapointed in you." He said looking very sternly.
Limestone had her head to the ground in shame.
"And you Pinkie. You DID dump that soup on her head, which made her angry. So you did start something. Plus, you haven't worked on the farm in a while. So you don't know what all goes on on this farm now. Whether you like it or not, because she is the oldest, she will lead the farm. And if she says something, you have to honor her rules." He said very strictly to Pinkie.
"But Pa, she-" Pinkie was about to say.
"No buts Pinkie. That is final." He said.
Now Pinkie had her head down in shame.
"Now, you two are sisters and should start acting like better sisters. Look at Marble." He said pointing at his youngest daughter.
"All she wants is for every pony to get along. Can't you two just apologise and make up for her sake?" He asked.
They looked at Marble, who, while still hiding, peered out from under the table, and waved at them both.
"Pa is right." Pinkie said. "Maybe I shouldn't have dumped that bowl on your head and got you arrested. I'm sorry about that. And I'm sorry I got you tased as well. I could've handled it better. But we put you in Anger Management because you really need it Limestone. You've been an angry pony ever since we were fillies. This is to help you. And we're doing this because we love you, Limey. And I do too. Your my big sister, and you've taught me and Marble everything about cooking, rocks, and working. I appreciate all that. But these classes are a good thing." Pinkie said with a heart-warming smile on her face, showing that what she was saying was genuine.
Limestone was shocked to hear these words coming from Pinkie. But she was glad she heard them.
"I'm sorry to. I shouldn't have reacted like I did. And-" she looked over at Marble, who had come out of her hiding place "I'm sorry Marble. I shouldn't have snapped at you like that. It was wrong of me to do that. But Pinkie, you should know I'm passionate about what I do here. I love this farm so much. I know it gets stressful, but I still love it. So when I get angry, or upset, it's because I love this farm and my family so much. I want the best for this family. I want this farm to still be here when I'm old with grand foals. That's why I yell and scream. Because I love this farm so much." Limestone said.
"I get that, but there are better ways to handle it then with anger." Pinkie said with a smile.
"Yeah, but I don't know if I can control my anger." Limestone said, looking kinda unconfident.
"Yes you can. We all know you can do it." Pinkie said very confidently.
"How can you be sure of that, though?" Limestone asked.
"Because I Pinkie promise. And you can't break a Pinkie promise." Pinkie said very happily.
Limestone smiled with a glisten in her eyes.
"Okay. I'll keep going with it. And I'll get better." Limestone said with a bit of confidence in her.
"I knew you could do it." Pinkie said as she hugged her sister. Limestone hugged back.
Then, all of a sudden, Igneous, Cloudy, and Marble joined in the hug as well. A nice family group hug.
"Well, now that that is out of the way, let's finish dinner." Cloudy said sweetly.
And with that, every pony gathered around to eat dinner, and then called it a night.
As they ate, Limestone knew now that she needed to take these classes seriously now. She wasn't going to like writing an essay for some pony she almost got into a fight with, but it was for the best.
As she went to bed later that night, she had a slight boost of confidence, thinking that maybe she will get better with these Anger Management Classes. It would take a while, but it probably will bet better.
Honestly, she couldn't wait for next Wednesday.
Limestone Goes to Anger Management Classes
Chapter 6: Helpful Anger Tips
It was Wednesday again. Time for Limestone's second week of anger management classes. It took Limestone a while, but she eventually finished the "I'm sorry" essay she had to write for Brick. She SO did not want to do that, but she had to. She did have a feeling Brick wouldn't except it, but she didn't care. All that mattered was getting it done, so Miss Summer would be satisfied and still teach her how to control her anger. Cause she did need this.
Limestone eventually got to the building for her class. Everypony was there. She went up to Brick to give him her essay.
"Here ya go Brick. I wrote it. I hope this makes you happy, or at the very least, satisfied." She said as she gave him the essay.
Brick looked at it. Skimmed through the pages. He snorted at her, and then sat down next to Silver Thriller.
Limestone looked annoyed. He didn't even say "Thank You" to her. He probably was still pissed at her because of last week. She didn't think he was the kind of guy to hold a grudge.
However, to be fair, she wasn't to happy with him either. He was the one pulled a knife on her last week. Regardless as to whether she called him an idiot or not, that was still way to far. She wanted to say something to him, but decided against it.
She looked over and saw Jem and Bass talking to each other. They looked to be getting along pretty well. She didn't know what they were talking about, but it looked to be enjoying each other's company. Maybe there was something going on between them. Something.....nice.
She then looked over at Hard Drive, who was reading her book that she brought last week, which was called "The Night Listener" by Armistead Neighpin. She looked to be very intrigued by the book. Very interested in the story. Limestone liked to read, but she never heard of this book. Maybe she'd ask her about it later.
She lastly looked over to Silver Thriller, who was writing in his notepad. As he was writing, he seemed to get frustrated and ripped out pages, throwing them in the trash can next to him. He looked like a kind of pony who took what he does extremely serious, and would critique himself when he messed up.
Brick was just laying back in his chair, avoiding eye contact with Limestone. She noticed this, but said nothing.
Then Summer walked in, ready to start her class.
"Hello again everypony. It's nice to see you all again. How was everypony this week?" She asked very sweetly.
Everypony responded with either a "good", "okay", or "meh".
"Well that is good. Now I'd like to address something that happened last week that caused our class to end early." She looked over at Limestone and Brick.
"You two almost got into an altercation last week. And if you are to be in this class still, you both need to get along. I'm not saying you need to be friends, but just at least cooperate. So I want you two to apologise to each other." She said with a serious look on her face.
Limestone and Brick got up at the same time and came up to each other, staring themselves in the face. It was quiet for a little bit. Then they both said what Summer told them to do.
"Sorry." They both said at the same time. Then backing up and sitting in their respective chairs.
"Thank you to both of you. Now before we get to today's lesson, I never got to know what makes you angry Brick. Or you Silver Thriller. So I'd like to hear that from both of you." She said as she got out her notepad. "Because of last week, Brick why don't you start. Tell me, what makes you angry?" Summer asked him.
Brick had a bitter look on his face as he spoke.
"You wanna know? I'll tell ya. It's when ponies like her-" pointing to Limestone "critique me, make fun of me, and laugh at me for nothing. I've had that done to me my whole life, and I'm sick of it." Brick said very angrily.
Limestone looked angry to, because he was partially talking about her in a negative way.
"Does that mean you've been bullied your whole life?" Summer asked, now having a sympathetic look on her face.
"Yeah. My old man was verbally abusive to me growing up. And sometimes physical." Brick said looking very angry.
This caused everypony in the room to look shocked to hear this. Why would anypony treat their child like that?
"How often did your father do this to you? And why did he do this?" Summer asked, looking very concerned.
"My mom walked out on my dad when I was a foal. I think he blamed me being born on my mom leaving him. And as far as abusing me, he was verbally abusive every Fucking day. He'd call me an idiot, stupid, and a dumbass. And he'd hit me if I got into some trouble that may or may not have been my fault." He said.
This caused everypony, even Limestone to feel sympathy for him. They didn't know he had a hard life growing up.
"Then one day, I got my cutie mark. I'm an actor. A drama theater actor to be exact. I was so excited when I got my cutie mark. Went home to show him. I thought he'd be proud of me. You wanna know what he said?" Brick said.
"What?" Summer asked, feeling bad for him. She knew this wasn't going to be well.
"He said "Ha, how can an idiot like you get a cutie mark? And a drama cutie mark? I bet you'll suck at it. Little idiot." That was the last straw. I'm not kidding you guys, I told him off. I told him you don't love me, you are a jackass, a terrible father, everything. Then he hit me so hard, he broke my jaw." Brick sad, rubbing his muzzle.
Now this caused everypony in the room to put their heads down in shame. No wonder he had anger problems. His father was horrible to him.
"Then my dad got arrested, and I hope that piece of shit rots there forever. And keep in mind, at school I didn't have a lot of friends, because I get into a lot of fights when somepony insults me. I did get bullied, but I fought back and would usually get my ass kicked. Then one day, some bullies jumped me. So I lost my temper, and I elbowed one of them in his head and kept doing it, till he bled. Those guys ran away, scared outta there minds. And the guy I elbowed suffered a concussion. But, of course, I got in trouble for assault, even though they jumped me first. So now I have to spend a year and a half in a juvenile detention center, and 12 weeks in this anger management class. So that's what makes me angry. When people fuck with me, and think they can get away with it. That is why I'm here." Brick finished his story, looking angry and frustrated and upset all at once.
Everypony looked shocked, hearing this story. Now this was some pony who had anger problems. Not just anger, but flat out HATE. And had good reasons for being so. His father treated him like dirt. Like nothing his whole life. And it didn't help that he was bullied as well. No wonder he was anger prone. Who wouldn't be in that situation.
"Thank you for sharing that Brick. And let me just say I'm very sorry about everything you've gone through. I can see what makes you angry is that you've never had anypony say anything good about you or your accomplishments your whole life. It's not just frustration from never getting that your whole life, it's that you wanted your dad to be proud of you. And no matter what, he never gave it to you. Did he?" Summer explained.
"Pff. Damn right. I just wanted to make that piece of shit happy. But I never could do it. Screw him. I don't care what happens to him." Brick said with a frown on his face. However, when he said that, there was something about what he said made it look like he really didn't mean it. Did he still love his dad? It could be possible.
Now Limestone felt something for this guy. She felt bad about calling him, along with everypony in class an idiot last week. She also knew where he was coming from. Igneous wasn't exactly the best father to her growing up. Granted, he never physically beat her or called her names like Brick's Dad did. But he was hard on her, expecting her to be the best rock farmer ever. All because she was the oldest foal. He also would get on her for not watching out for her younger siblings when they would hurt themselves or get into trouble. He always said that because she was the oldest, she had a certain responsibility to them. But Igneous did that because, deep down, he loved her very much and only wanted what was best for her. And, maybe, because he was a bit hard on her, it caused her to toughen up. For a tough world.
"Does anypony have anything to say about that?" Summer asked.
Silver Thriller raised his hoof.
"Silver, why don't you tell Brick what you think about that?" She said.
Brick looked at him very crossly. He looked like he wasn't in the mood for criticism.
"Well Miss Summer, what I'm about to say is kinda what makes me angry as well." He said to her.
"Okay." Summer said.
Silver turned to look at Brick. He had a serious, but sympathetic look on his face.
"You know Brick, you and I are kind of in the same boat. I didn't have the best relationship with my dad. He was hard on me. He wasn't the nicest toward me, and he even hit me on rare occasions." He said looking sad.
Brick took notice to this, and started to listen carefully to Silver.
"Then, when I got my cutie mark, he became really hard on me even more. He pushed me to write better than anypony. I would write stories for him to read. And when I thought I wrote the perfect story, he'd crush that thought and critique it and have me write again. It was frustrating for me. I've always had a strained relationship with my dad. He wanted me to be better than anypony. He, at times, made me hate writing. Cause he was really hard on me." Silver said.
Brick looked at him with a straight expression.
"And I wanted my dad to be proud of me too. And I felt angry that I could never get that done. So I know how you feel about that." He said to him as Brick had his head down in sympathy.
"And what also made me angry is not only what my dad did to me growing up, but at myself as well." Silver said looking down in shame. This caused Brick to pick his head back up and respond to him.
"Why would you be angry at yourself? What could you have done at your age? You couldn't have fought him or argued with him without getting hit. If you thought it was your fault for your relationship with your dad, your outta your freaking mind man." Brick said very seriously.
"No, it's not any of that. What I'm saying is that I felt what you felt. No matter what I did, it was never enough for anypony. They always shit on it. And it made me feel angry not only at others, but at myself for not getting better at learning from my mistakes. What I'm asking is that, have you ever felt angry about that before? At yourself for not learning from your mistakes?" Silver asked him.
Brick was silent for a little bit, until he said "Yeah. I get pissed at myself for not doing better. I'm mad at myself for letting ponies get to me, and I'm mad that I keep letting my dad get to me, even though he's in jail now. I want to be happy, but I can't get over what my dad did to me growing up. And I don't know if I ever will." Brick said very sadly.
Silver put his hoof on Brick in a couple comforting way.
"Hey, you have every right to be angry at him, but you shouldn't let him control your life. I'll admit I've kicked my dad out of my life. But the reason is because I know if he was in my life, he'd try to control it. And I want to control it myself. So, ultimately, you should try to move on from him. Try to start living your life the way you want to. If you like the theater, keep doing it because you love it. And I'll keep writing because I love it. Don't let stuff from the past control you. Cause your better than that. I know you can do it." He said to him very inspiringly.
Brick smiled at him. He extended his hoof to Silver for a hoof shake. Silver gladly accepted.
"Thanks Silver. I needed that." Brick said, looking like he was feeling a lot better.
This caused everypony in the room, including Limestone, to smile.
"That was wonderful advice you gave Thriller. I also want everypony here to do the same. If you have advice, give it out. It's not just me helping here. It's all of you. Like I said, we are a team. And team members help out each other as best as they can." Summer said very proudly.
This caused everypony to smile.
"Now for today's lesson. I want to start by giving out some anger management tips." Summer said getting our another note pad.
Over the hour and fifteen minutes, Summer gave some very basic tips on how to control anger. For example, taking deep breaths, thinking before we speak, using assertiveness as away to express how angry we feel instead of an aggressive way, exercising, and leaving a room to cool off when you feel angry, in other words, a timeout that is used to calm the nerves. Now she was going to use some other tips that could be very helpful for her students.
"All right everypony, for the last fifteen minutes of our session, lets do something a little bit different. This last one I'm going to teach you all is not only helpful for anger, but it can reduce the chances of an argument. Now let me ask all of you a question: when you have gotten angry at some pony, have you ever said "You never do this or that" or "You don't ever do so and so". If anypony here has, please raise your hoof." She said to everypony.
Everypony in the class, including Limestone raised their hooves.
"I see. Now what those are called are "You" statements. Meaning that you state something that starts with "You". Well, a really helpful tip to help control anger is to use an"I" statement. What I mean by that is this. For example, instead of saying "You never do any housework" say "I'm upset that you didn't offer to wash the dishes for me." When you say that, it shows that you not only are being honest, but you aren't placing blame on them when you feel angry. When you do that, that will lead to some fights, and make some serious tension that you do not want." Summer said to her classmates.
This caused everypony to be quite intrigued with what she said. They never thought of that before. That actually sounded like a good idea to use.
"I'll even admit right here. I used these "I" statements on my daughter Autumn. When I would tell her to clean her room, and she wouldn't, I would tell her "I'm very upset that you didn't clean your room like I asked you to." And when I used that, she would apologise and get to cleaning her room like I asked before. If I used a "You" statement and said "You never do what I ask you to do" it would have lead to an argument with her, which is something most parents do not want." Summer explained.
Now this got everypony's attention. This could actually be a helpful tip.
"Now I'd like to try this in a role-playing way. I need two volunteers to do this." Summer said.
She looked and picked the two ponies she wanted.
"Limestone and Hard Drive, would you two come up here please?" Summer asked nicely.
Hard Drive and Limestone got up and went to the center of the circle of chairs.
"Now I want to put you two in a situation: Hard Drive, I want you to imagine Limestone forgot to do something around the house for you. And you are about to tell her how you feel about her forgetting it. What is it that you say?" Summer asked her.
Hard Drive cleared her throat before she spoke. "Um,.......Limestone, I'm very peeved that you forgot to take out the trash to the side of the road." Hard Drive spoke to her in a not-so-convincing way. It's okay though. It's not like it was acting class of anything.
"Impressive Hard Drive. Impressive. Now let's switch places. Limestone, I want you to imagine that you and Hard Drive are on your rock farm, and you tell her to do something, but does something else. What do you say to her?" Summer asked her.
This reminded Limestone of the night she had her outburst. When she yelled at Marble for not following her to the mines, and doing something else because her father told her to. Because she was in this situation before, she knew what to do.
"Hard Drive, I'm very angry that you didn't follow me to the mines like I told you to do. It was very stressful work for me, and I expected you to help. But you didn't. I'm very upset." Limestone said in a scolding kind of way.
Summer smiled at this and clapped her hooves. "I'm so proud of both of you. You both did a phenomenal job." She said very proudly of them.
They both smiled and sat back down.
"Okay everypony, our session today is over. Same time next week, okay? I look forward to seeing you all again. Have a nice week." Summer said, bidding farewell to her students.
Everypony bid her farewell too as they left the building.
Limestone was walking out the door to the train station. However, she noticed that Hard Drive was following her. She didn't know that she took the train as well.
"Where are you headed off to?" Limestone asked her curiously.
"Oh, I had to take an early train to get to Madneighson. I have to see my sister and daughter." Hard Drive explained to her as she looked up from her book.
Limestone saw her eyes in the book. She figured she'd ask her what it was about.
"So, whats that book your reading?"
"Oh this. It's called "The Night Listener." It's a very good read. One of my favorites." Hard Drive said smiling with joy.
"Okay. So what's it about? I've never heard of this book." Limestone asked her.
"Well it's about..." Hard Drive then explained to her what the book was about, but not to much to give spoilers. This made Limestone smile. This sounded like a good book to read. Maybe she'd go to the library and see if they had a copy of it.
When the train came, they talked for a while. They got to know each other a little bit. It felt nice, Limestone felt, to actually talk with somepony other than her sisters for once.
Then, Hard Drive's stop came. They bid each other farewell, and said they'd see each other next week.
Then, the train left, until it, ultimately, stopped near the outskirts of the rock farm she lived on.
As she walked towards her destination, she felt proud. Proud about the fact that she really learned something today on how to control her anger. It made her feel good inside.
And she also seems to get along with one of her fellow classmates. It seemed she was making friends. Something she never got to do when she was a filly. She liked that very much.
Maybe these classes were going to be fun after all.
Limestone Goes to Anger Management Classes
Chapter 7: Getting to Know Classmates
Limestone was getting ready for another week of Anger Management classes. As she waited at the train station for the next train, she thought about last week, and how she had a good interaction with Hard Drive. They talked all the way until Limestone's stop. She actually had a good time talking with her. Hard Drive actually was very nice to her. There was a part of her that wanted to talk to and get to know all of her class mates. But she was a bit skeptical.
Why is that?
Well, growing up on a rock farm in the middle of nowhere, and being home-schooled her whole life, she never had any interaction with ponies outside her sisters and her parents. The only other exception was the Apple family when they came to visit for Hearth's Warming one year, but that was only a one time deal. So this was a whole different thing.
However, she also understood that she would have to interact with her classmates during classes. So it would probably be a good idea to maybe get to know them a little but.
Finally, the train came to it's stop. Limestone got on, and off she went to her destination.

The train finally made it's stop to the classes. She got off the train, ready for another day of learning how to control her anger.
However, as she made her way into the building, she noticed something peculiar.
Jem Bedazzle and Bass Clef were hugging. Eventually, Jem stopped the hugging, and went to take her seat. She looked extremely excited about something. But Limestone had no idea what it was.
She also saw Bass's face turning red. He was blushing like crazy. He apparently liked the hug Jem gave him. Limestone saw this and decided to go up to him.
"So what was that about?" Limestone asked. Bass jumped a little bit when she asked this. He looked a little embarrassed.
"Uhhh, nothing. Nothing at all." He said looking like nothing happened, even though it did.
Limestone then got an idea. She would fuck with him a little bit about this. "I don't know Bass. That didn't look like "nothing". I think you've got a little crush on Jem. I can see it in your face." She said as she had her trademark snarky smile on her face.
This caused Bass to blush even more. "N-nnnn--nnn-No, she just got excited about the fact that I offered her a job to make some outfits for the next big musical in my choir group: Phantom of the Opera. And I just got a little surprised is all." Bass said as he calmed down a little bit.
"Well that was nice of you. Good of you to offer her something when she's been turned down all this time. Maybe you did this to spend a lot of time with her. Get to know her. Maybe ask her out on a date?" Limestone said with some teasing n her voice.
Again, Bass blushed again. "A-a-a-a-Ask her out? I can't do that. She wouldn't go for a guy like me. She's way to pretty for a nerd like me." Bass said with his head down.
"Hey, you never know unless you try. But you do realize now you just said you have a crush on her?" She asked.
"What, no I didn't." Bass said defensively.
"Then why did you call her pretty? And that she wouldn't go for a nerd like you?" Limestone cooed teasingly.
Bass realized he DID just say that and hung his head down in embarrassment. It was true. He has a crush on Jem.
"And judging by the fact that you said that, it sounds like you aren't that confident about yourself, are you?" Limestone asked.
"Not really. I mean, I always lose a bigger part to my brother. How can this be any different? She'd probably go for Silver. I mean look at the guy. He's jacked as shit. I'd be scared to approach that guy." Bass said.
Limestone then got an idea in her head. She remembered something Jem said in their first day of class. And she also remembered one of the friends Pinkie has that she talks about a lot. Well, to be fair, she talks about all her friends a lot, but you get the idea.
"Well, don't worry about it. I'm sure everything will be fine. Let's head in." Limestone said as she walked into class. Bass soon followed behind her, still with his head down in shame. Limestone felt bad for this stallion. He really had some confidence issues. He just needed some inspiration.
As she walked into class, she was greeted by Hard Drive at the door to the classes.
"Well, Hello Limestone. How was your night last night?" She asked her.
"It was alright I guess. How'd you and your daughter do?" Limestone asked her.
"Well, it's taking some time for us to get back to normal, but we are making progress. I just hope she forgives me all together." Hard Drive said looking worried.
"I'm sure it will." Limestone said to her.
"Well thank you Limestone. Hey, I gotta ask you something?"
"What?"
"How would you like to borrow my book "The Night Listener"?"
"Wait, really? Your serious?"
"Of course. You seemed interested in it last week. I finished it. So I thought maybe you'd like to read it."
"Why would you do that?" Limestone askd this very curiously.
"It's what friends do. We are friends aren't we?" Hard Drive also asked curiously.
Limestone was silent for a little bit. She didn't really know what friends were. She never had friends, outside her sisters. She was a little hesitant, but saw that she was genuine. So she accepted her offer.
"Sure, thanks." Limestone said as she took the book from Hard Drive's hoof.
"No problem." Hard Drive said as she smiled and went back to her seat.
Limestone couldn't believe how nice this mare was. She also couldn't believe how her ex-husband, the cheating bastard that he is, would betray somepony like her.
Then another idea hit her head. Her father and mother met because of the Choosing Stone. She also knew that she, along with her sisters, would use it one day to find their future soulmate. However, her father never said it was ONLY family. So could that mean non- family members could use it? Could be possible.
Another thing she noticed was Brick and Silver talking. They seemed to be having a pretty good conversation. She walked up to them. Silver noticed this and approached her.
"Hey Limestone, could we talk in private for a bit?" Silver asked, looking very serious. Like he had been wanting to tell this to her for a while now.
Limestone noticed this and, while slightly intimidated by his physical features, she still looked pretty calm talking to him.
"Uh, sure." Limestone answered him. Her and Silver then walked outside the room to talk. They were alone.
"So what's on your mind?" Limestone asked him.
Silver looked pretty serious about this. "Alright, here's the situation Limestone. I'm starting to write a story. Me and Brick are working on a play he's going to be involved in. And I think I've got something. But I need somepony to critique me. I've written a little bit so far, but I feel since your so honest, maybe you could read what I've done so far and give me some constructive criticism."
Limestone looked confused about this. "Me? Why me?" She asked him.
"Like I said. Your an honest mare. You'll tell somepony what you think, whether it's good or not. And I like that. I appreciate constructive criticism. And I think your the best at it. So please can you do this for me?" Silver asked with a small smile on his face.
Limestone looked at this stallion with confusion. He came across as a guy who looked like he was hard on himself and was taking what he was doing incredibly serious. Kinda like how Limestone was on her rock farm. She took what she did incredibly serious and not only was critical of her sisters, but critical of herself for not getting a job done quicker or better. She knew where he was coming from.
"Okay, sure. I can do that." Limestone answered him.
Silver smiled hugely now. "Great. Thank you so much. This is why I like you." He said. And then as soon as he said that he blushed.
Limestone looks confuse again. "You like me? What?" She asked having a WTF look on her face.
"Uh, well just as a friend. I like you as a friend." He said sheepisly rubbing his hoof.
Limestone had an eyebrow raised.
"Um, okay I'm gonna go back to my seat." Silver said backing away slowly. And as he was backing away, he said in his mind "STUPID, STUPID, STUPID, STUPID", thinking about how he made himself look like a fool in front of a mare that, while he would dent in front of everypony, looked very attractive. As he took his seat, Brick looked at him with a teasing look on his face.
"Not one word." Silver said. Brick didn't say a word to Silver. But he was thinking it. Then Limestone came back to her seat. She was looking at Silver, still with a confused look on her face. Silver avoided eye contact with her. Limestone didn't know what to think.
"So, Brick, you and Silver are working on a play, huh?" She asked him.
"Yeah, we're just having trouble coming up with a story. Although, I know this guy can come up with something great. And I can act so awesome. I guarantee you, if you saw our play, you would think I'm unrecognizable. Like I become somepony else." Brick said very confidently. This caused Limestone to smirk.
"Okay. I'll hold you to it. I'm gonna read this script, and critique it, and then, once you get the play all ready to go, I'll see it. And I'll see if you can make me think your "unrecognizable" " Limestone said.
"Oh, is that a bet? Because if it is, you are so on." Brick said as he extended his hoof to her, signaling her to shake on it.
"You bet it is." Limestone took the hoof in her hoof and shook it, signaling the bet was intact.
Then Summer came into class, ready to begin her session.

Limestone Goes to Anger Management Classes
Prologue: Pushed Over The Edge
It was a calm and cool night in Equestria. A very peaceful night. A very beautiful night. A night where Princess Luna really outdid herself. There were ponies out star-gazing, catching lightning bugs, having bonfires, and some sleeping peacefully in their beds. It seemed like this was a perfect night. Where absolutely nothing bad could happen to anypony.
Well, unfortunately, that really wasn't the case here.
Somewhere on the far outreaches of Ponyville lived a rock farm owned by the Pie family. They comprised of the parents, who came from Amish descent, with the father, who had an Amber coat with a light-grey mane and a pickaxe for a cutie mark, named Igneous Rock Pie, and the mother, who had a greyish-opal mane with a light bluish-grey coat with three pebbles for a cutie mark named Cloudy Quartz Pie. These two were the owners of the rock farm and had been for many years. And during said many years, they had four daughters.
The oldest one was named Limestone Pie, who had a grey mane with a bluish-grey coat and a lime with two stones underneath it as a cutie mark. Now with her being the oldest, she was given full rights of ownership to the rock farm when Igneous and Cloudy would pass. It was tradition to have the oldest carry on the family legacy. Now Limestone, while she was a really tough mare who worked her flank off for the rock farm's benefit, that didn't mean she was the nicest mare of all time. Limestone was always in a foul mood who would yell at other ponies, scream her head off, especially when some pony would touch or even get near the rock farm's prized possesion, a boulder that stood near the rock farm's home, which was named Houlder's Boulder,and would order her younger sisters around the farm, simply because she was the oldest. While she did love her sisters, she sure did have a funny way of showing it.
The second oldest was named Maud Pie, who had a violet mane with a grey coat and a diamond shaped rock as a cutie mark, and wore purple eyeshadow. Even though she was younger than Limestone, she was always the calm and collected one. Although, she was also a deadpanned mare, who never showed any emotion, except during rare times. When it came to rocks, Maud was easily the most knowledgeable about them. She could identify any rock just by looking at it. She also was the first Pie family member, since her great-great uncle Onyx Pie, to get a rockderate in rock science, or geology as it was technically called.
The last two born were twin sisters. One was perhaps the most known Pie in all of Equestria. A pink coated, pink frizzy maned, with party balloons as a cutie mark named Pinkamena Diane Pie, or as she preferred to be called, Pinkie Pie. She was easily the most outgoing of all her sisters. She was always smiling, bouncing, laughing, and just happy period. She didn't live on the rock farm anymore, because she now worked in Ponyville at a bake shop named Sugercube Corner. She threw parties for a living, mainly because it was her special talent. But she still visited her growing up home almost all the time when she wasn't working. So she still managed to keep in touch with her family.
Finally, the youngest Pie, because she came out after Pinkie, was a light grey coated dark gray maned with three marbles as a cutie mark named Marble Pie. She was the exact opposite of Pinkie Pie. Meaning that she was shy, soft-spoken, not really into meeting new ponies, and would normally let Pinkie, and her older sisters speak for her. And when she DID speak for herself, she usually just said "Mm...hmm." So the Pie family was a pretty big family, but they were a happy family, who would never do anything to harm any pony, let alone there own family members.
That is, until this might happened.
On this night, Pinkie Pie was visiting her family. And after a really hard day's work in the fields and mines, they were sitting at the dinner table, having all types of rock-based foods. Like rock soup, rock sandwiches, and just rocks period. Limestone, however, was the most exhausted out of all of them. She still had a few more things to do on the farm, before she could come to dinner. She really worked up a sweat out there today. Now she was ready for a meal, and to get some sleep.
However, with Pinkie being there, you had to know something was going to happen. Whether good or bad, things always happened when she was around. And this was a situation where something BAD was going to happen.
"You always make the best rock soup Ma." Pinkie exclaimed, as she gulped it down in one swoop.
"Why thank you Pinkamena. Again, it is very nice to have you here with us. Thank you for the visit." Cloydy said sweetly.
Pinkie blushed and said "Ah, shucks. It's nothing, Momma."
"It really is good to have a nice family dinner. Right Marble?" Maud Pie said.
"Mm...hmm." Marble said as she ate her soup.
It was a very nice family dinner so far. Every pony looked happy and was having a good time.
But then, Limestone came in after having to do some extra work. She came in all grumpy like, as she often does, and sat at the dinner table.
"Alright, where's my rock soup?" Limestone Pie said in a really rude way.
"It's coming sweetie. Just be patient." Cloudy said.
"Don't tell me what to do. I've worked my flank off today, even more so than these three have." Limestone said reverting to her three younger sisters. She was starting to get angry.
Her three sisters were used to this kind of treatment from Limestone. Pinkie just rolled her eyes at her sisters comment, Maud just had her deadpan expression on her face, and Marble had a really hurt look on her face. She worked hard today too.
"All I want is my rock soup, then to just go to bed. So hurry up." Limestone demanded, getting even more angry.
"Jeez, your even more Captain Grumpy now then you were this morning." Pinkie said.
"SHUT UP PINKIE! I don't wanna hear from your annoying self." Limestone screamed.
This made Pinkie back up a little bit.
Maud then stood up and said "Limestone, calm down. I know it's been a rough day, but that doesn't mean you can take out your frustrations out on your family."
"I don't wanna hear from you either Maud. You don't have any emotions or feelings, so why should I take anything you say seriously? You loser." Limestone said angrily. Her rage was really building up.
Then she looked across to her youngest sister Marble, who was cowering in fear of her big sister.
"And you, where the heck were you when I told you to follow me to the mines this morning? I had to collect all the jewels myself. Do you know how exhausting it was, huh?" Limestone said loudly in front of Marble.
Marvel's eyes were tearing up in fear as she stuttered "PA told me to work on something else. He thought you could handle it by yourself."
Then she turned her head towards Igneous with a really sour look on her face.
"Why did you do that? Do you know how hard it was? HUH?" She asked in an angry way.
"It may have been, but you got it done. That's what matters. Now try to cool off. Your scaring your little sister." Igneous said.
"I don't care if I'm scaring any pony. When I say do something, you DO IT." She screamed in front of her father.
Then her mother, who was stirring the rock soup, stopped and said "Limestone, that's enough. You apologize to your father and little sister right this second. I will not tolerate this foolish behavior from you."
"FOALISH! YOU THINK IM FOALISH! Foalish for working my flank off for the whole day, and this is the thanks I get. I get called FOALISH?" Limestone said, at this point just screaming her head off at her mother.
"Foalish for screaming about something that is done and over with. Now I appreciate you working in the way that you did today. You really worked hard. But so did your sisters. They worked just as hard as you did, and they want to relax and have a nice dinner too. And if you keep up this foolish behavior you won't get any dinner." Cloudy said sternly.
"No! I will get dinner, and you better hurry up, before I blow a freaking gasket." Limestone said somewhat threatening her mother.
"Will you just sit down and calm down?" Pinkie said. "Seriously, your acting like a psycho."
"I am not a psycho. I just want my soup." Limestone said loudly.
Then Pinkie just got really tired and said "You want soup, here's your soup." And she dumped her soup on Limestone's head.
Then time froze in that short two minutes as Limestone stood there with a soup bowl on her head with soup all over face and mane, dripping down to the floor.
Igneous and Cloudy looked at Pinkie sternly, but we're worried about what was going to transpire.
Oh, and something did transpire alright.

"LET GO OF ME! LET GO OF ME!" Limestone screamed as she was being carted off by the police. YES! Limestone was being arrested. For what?
Well after Pinkie dumped the soul bowl on Limestone's head, basically, Limestone did what she threatened her mother if she didn't get her rock soup. She blew a freaking gasket.
And the remains of the gasket blowing were not all that good. Windows were broken, furniture was thrown over, the dinner table was smashed, and Marble Pie was beyond scared half to death. She had never seen her big sister lose it like that before. Igneous was the one who called the police. Things just got out of hoof. He could have handled it, but Limestone was a big and strong mare, who could probably take Igneous in a fight. So he called the police, and he was now seeing his oldest daughter being arrested. How sad this was.
"YOUR GONNA PAY FOR THIS PINKIE. YOU JUST WAIT TILL I GET OUT. IM GONNA FREAKING KILL YOU." Limestone screamed as she was now put in the police car. "YOU--" Then the car door was shut as she said the B word to Pinkie. Then the police car drove off. Limestone was going to spend a night in jail.
"I should've just given her her soup." Cloudy said as she had her head down in shame.
"You did the right thing. You needed to tell Limestone what she was doing wasn't right. However, you Pinkie shouldn't have dumped that soup bowl on her head." Igneous said.
"She deserved it. She wanted soup so bad, I gave it to her. I don't care what she says to me, but no pony makes Marble cry. NO PONY. So yeah I dumped it on her, but she had it coming." Pinkie said angrily defending her actions.
"You could've handled it differently Pinkamena." Igneous said sternly. "This whole situation should have been avoided. I really didn't want to do this, but I had to."
"Yeah, and you did the right thing. She needs to spend a night in jail. Gives her time to think about what she did." Pinkie said.
"Let's just go back inside, and finish dinner. We will think about what to do with Limestone in the morning." Igneous said.
They then went back inside, and finished dinner, then went to bed.
What happened tonight was still on their minds. They knew Limestone was a hot head, but they didn't think she would go this far. Let alone take it out on her own family. Her anger really went over the edge tonight. She needed to learn how to control her anger. She needed this for the future, because what if she had kids and was married and did something similar to them.
But how could they do it? How could they find a way for Limestone to try and control her temper?
They would have to figure something out in the morning, or else bad things would continue to happen like they did tonight.
