Rarity had finished her new clothing line ealier than she excepted which was both a good and a bad thing. Good because she was now not as busy as she usually was but that also lead to the bad thing which is since she had more time than shes used to she is becoming very bored and has reduced herself to just wandering the school halls after hours. The school was relatively empty besides the few after school clubs that were going on. Since it was a friday it was soccer and street dance on. Thought street dance sounded appealing to her she knew she would have trouble commiting to it due to both her clothes designing and street dance was very fast paced and tiring meaning she'd need a very big motivation to even concider such an idea that could cause her to get sweaty.
Rarity sighed again then quickly covered her mouth,grumbling angrily under her breath for letting herself sigh again. She swore at this rate she was going to sigh her way into a different plane of existence. She dropped her hand from her mouth as her ears picked up a faint noise coming from the direction going towards the gym. Since she didn't really have anything to do right now and curiousity got the best of her she followed the noise. With each step she took the music got clearer and louder until she was right by the door of the gym. She recognised the song as Tear by Clean Bandit. Good choice of song. She heard alot of stomping and swift movment,the noises sounding like they flowed together in perfect harmony. She was about to walk away when she heard a voice booming through out the area. The voice was a girls but it had sexy,husky type tone to it that sent a shiver up Rarity's spine. She was a sucker for a girl with strong,powerful voices/accents. She then noiced the door was open a small amount which gave her enough room to peak through and not get caught. She leant down slightly and looked through the gap,watching both girls and boys move flow together effortlessly. She diverted her eyes to find the source of the voice she instantly fell in love with but what she found caused her to pale and freeze. No wonder she loved the voice.
It was Sunset Shimmer.
"Five,six,seven,eight and back again!" Sunset spoke loudly as she stood front and centre of the dance troop,moving in perfect time with both everyone around her and the song.
Rarity could only wonder how she didn't recongise Sunset's voice sooner since she aboslutely adored it. The calming way she spoke to her friends but also the sensual way she sang and poured her heart into her vocals. Rarity hasn't to dare tell anyone about her new crush on the firey haired girl until she thought it was a good time. She loved the girls but knowing them they'd try to 'help' and that help would only make things worse so she just kept quiet. She snapped out of her thoughts only to lose her train of thought again by watching Sunset dance.
Sunset dropped down and raised herself back up slowly,her hands running up her body as she did so before she began to preform a good few quick steps which flowed into her swinging her body around and doing about two backflips with some poping and locking thrown in as well.
There was a lot more to it than that but Rarity was so entranced that she paid more attention the way Sunset moved that she didn't have the energy or the breath to explain the dance in better detail. She contiuned to watch and began to chew on her bottom lip,her breath catching in her throat and her fingers fiddling with the cotton on her skirt. If it couldnt get worse she began to imagine some of the dance moves interpreted into more..sexual things which is when she finally knew she had pull away from the door and back away. She was about to look again,despite her head telling her it was a stupid idea, but she backed up into a locker and hit her head. Hard. She covered her mouth and screamed into her hand but what really chilled her was that the music had now stopped.
"Hello?" A voice called from inside the gym. Sunset! Oh hell no was she going to see her in this state. She quickly pushed herself forward off the lockers and ran as fast as she could to the girls bathroom. She basically charged inside and finally slid to a stop,putting her hands on her knees and she leant over and tried to catch her breath. It was only a few seconds after she caught her breath and stood up straight that she finally figured out something. A massive grin appeared on her lips.
Sunset was the big motivation she needed to start Street dance.

Sunset packing up from the recent dance session and was ready to leave until she heard the doors swing open. She looked over her shoulder and raised an eyebrow when she saw Rarity practically storm up to her. She turned around and looked down at the slightly shorter girl,smiling slightly as she went to speak.
"Hi Rari-"
"I want to join your street dance group." Rarity intruppted rather flatly,standing with a blank expression on her face.
Sunset's mouth stayed open while her eyes widened and her eyebrows raised high. She stayed like this for about a minute before she finally spoke.
"I..I don't know what you're talking about,"
"I saw you,darling,"
"You were spying on me?"
"I believe it is admiring from afar and out of sight,"
"Oh so thats what we're calling it now?" Sunset asked with a raised eyebrow,crossed arms and a confused expression. Sunset just sighed and moved her arms apart,placing them on her hips now "Why do you want to join anyways? Never really thought of this to be your type of scene,"
"It turns out I have had a change of heart and am willing to try something out of my comfort zone," Rarity spoke with a growing smile. Sunset's confused stuck like glue on her face and she just stared at Rarity as if she had a screw loose.
"Um..okay then? I should probably teach you what we've done so far.." Sunset spoke before bending over and reaching into her bag,picking up what looked to be work out clothes and handing them to Rarity with a massive smirk on her face. Rarity took the clothes into her hands and just raised an eyebrow at Sunset.
"Um..darling? Must I wear this..?"
"You wanna join don't you?" Sunset asked with a cross of her arms. Rarity was about to protest but knew doing so would only destroy her chances of getting close to Sunset so she kept her mouth shut and just walked to the changing rooms.

Rarity had been following Sunset's instructions and moves carefully but this took a massive toll on her body as she was not used to moving so quickly. Not even during one of her panic creations for a fashion show was this tiring. She was leant against the wall,breathing heavily and had a hand placed over her chest.
"Um..Rares? You doing okay?" Sunset asked softly,walking over to the purple haired girl and placed a hand gently to Rarity's forehead while she leant closer a bit to check if she was alright. Rarity had her head turned away and when she felt Sunset's hand she blushed slightly. The blush only got worse when she turned her head and saw Sunset inches away from her,staring into her eyes. Rarity tried to speak but couldn't get any words past her lips so she just looked down at her feet and bit her lip hard.
"Rarity...look at me," Sunset spoke,moving her hand to the wall next to Rarity and procceded to lean on said hand. Rarity shifted her eyes upwards to look at Sunset through her hair. She could see the firey haired girl was concerned for her well being so she gave in and lifted her head to look at Sunset.
"I'm..sorry Sunset I-" She was intrupped when Sunset has leant forward just a couple of inches more to capture Rarity's lips in a soft but meaningful kiss. Rarity's eyes widened while her heart was beating was beating out of her chest. God it felt like a dream but she knew it wasn't. Rarity only snapped out of her thoughts when Sunset pulled away and looked away with a soft but noticable blush that brought out her cheekbones nicely. Rarity could only let out a short gasp.
"I'm sorry. I should of known better that you didn't like me I just..I just thoughtyou liked me..I guess I was wrong," Sunset spoke sadly,pulling back slightly and retracing her hand from the wall. Sunset turned around to walk away until she felt a firm grip on her shoulder,spinning her around. Rarity launched herself forward and crashed her lips onto Sunset's which caused the the firey haired girl to stumble backwards and fall to the ground while dragging Rarity down with her. Both girls yelped as they fell,Sunset hitting the ground with a thud and groaning as she has extra weight on her although it wasn't too much extra weight. She looked up at Rarity who was practically straddling her. They looked at each other for a few more seconds before bursting out into laughter. Once the laughter ended Sunset sat up slightly and leant back on her elbows while looking up at Rarity with a half,cheeky smile.
"So I was right. You do like me,"
"Was I being that obvious?"
"Not to the others but to me yes. I guess I'm just a little better at reading people," Sunset chuckled while contiuning to look up at Rarity who had a growing smile working its way to her lips. Rarity gathered up all the courage she had left and leant down to kiss Sunset softly. Sunset smiled against the younger girls lips and kissed back gently,letting herself sink back down to the ground which allowed her to run her hands through Rarity's soft hair. Rarity giggled and ran her hands down from Sunset's shoulders to her wasit,leaving her hands there as they contiuned to kiss. Nothing else matter but the two of them until Sunset pulled away for a moment to ask an important question.
"So Rarity..will you be my girlfriend?"
"Oh my darling yes! A thousand times yes!" She responded with happy tears streaming down her face. For once she didn't care about her makeup because Sunset was all that mattered at this point. They both leant in and contiuned their passionate but loving kissing session.
"Should we tell them?"
"Let 'em have their fun,"
"I say we bust them,"
"That would be mean though...besides..they look so happy,"
"Lets leave them be!" Pinkie spoke happily while the rest of the girls which included human Twilight looked through the gap in the door to the gym,all of them with smiles on their faces. They all looked at each other before all speaking at the same time quietly.
"Yeah. Totally called it,"

Another story done! I didn't feel like posting the next part to my band stories just yet so I decided to write a Sunarity story because 1) I like the couple and 2)why not. Hope you enjoy
