High above the world of Equis; the Battleship Carmina Burana was doing its routine patrol run in IPE controlled space when it received a distress call from one of the large Research vessels. The call was rather short and didn't give much information on what was going on. All that is known is it told of a breakout of a Experiment gone south that had spread across the ship, killing its' crew swiftly and brutally. Carmina Burana responded to the late call by sending a small squad of seven to board and investigate this "Breakout" that had occurred as ordered by High Command. Squad number 548 is the seven.

What is on this vessel? And what could have wiped out an entire ship so quickly?
