New dawn

Twilight and Fluttershy were on their way out of the forest when they heard cries of an animal in distress. They ran as fast to find the animal in distress when they noticed that the cries had stopped as suddenly they were heard. This made them run faster than they ever ran before. About five minutes later, they found what was making the sounds they heard. It was a baby alicorn. The colt had lost conciousness and ... his breathing became eratic. Twilight created a force field that stopped the wind and rain from reaching the already very sick colt. They ran so fast as to make rainbow dash envious. They went to the hospital to get the sick colt emergency medical help. The doctors hooked up the baby colt faster than ever to help him quick. Twilight and Fluttershy had been crying ever since they were told to wait in the lobby. The doctor came out and told them the sad news. The colt might not make it through the night. This news brought a whole new flood of tears ran from the loving eyes of the ponies that rescued him. Their cries which reached the trees who passed it on to Zecora who hurried to the hospital with a healing potion for the sick colt. When she arrived, Twilight and Fluttershy heard a familiar voice. Zecora said" Now my little ponies dry your tears for Zecora knows the object of your fears. I have brought a potion with me to help cure the colt". She went in and gave him the medicine she made. When she walked out of the room they heard a long steady beat. This sound caused them all to cry very hard. Then the real magic happened when Twilight and Fluttershy began to glow brightly this type of magic combined with Zecora's medicine brought the colt back to life. Twilight ran into the room after she heard the beeping of the machine again and not the long steady beep. Twilight blacked out as well as Fluttershy and were put in the same room as the colt. They wanted to keep an eye on all of them because of the use of the magic that made Twilight black out while Fluttershy simply feinted. Four days later Twilight woke up and found the baby colt asleep right beside her. She never felt such joy and excitement before and she wished it would only get better. Her wish was granted because when she finished making her wish, the baby colt opened his eyes and said one word"mommy". Twilight was so happy that the colt was still alive that she calledin a doctor who ran so fast that he was out of breath when he arrived at Twilights bedside to find that the colt was sleeping right beside Twilight. Twilight then proceeded to tell the doctor when the colt woke up he called her mommy. The doctor was extremely surprised at this statement. Then a huge grin came across his face when he saw Twilight glow as if she was the sun and her smile made her glow all the brighter. Zecora came by to check on Twilight and the colt after they were released from the hospital. Twilight asked Zecora "why would someone leave a defenseless baby colt in the middle of the Everfree Forest?". Zecora then proceeded to tell Twilight that some parts that are outside Equestria had cruel customs that they do to babies that are different or deformed. After Zecora finished the story, she held the baby colt tighter to her chest as if afraid someone would take him from her. Zecora looked upon this sight and said with a smile" you will be a good mother but you may have problems call upon your friends in times of need they will help you with any deed." with those last few words said Zecora disappeared. Twilight thought to herself " Zecora is kinda scary when she does that." After that errant thought she noticed that there was a bag full of jars of medicine, the same medicine rhat Zecora gave the colt at the hospital along with instructions on how to use it.

Power

When Twilight woke up the next morning, she discovered that the baby colt had grown several inches during the night. She immediately went to Zecora. Twilight had talked with Zecora over several hours. After Twilight had finished talking, Zecora told her about the outside realms of equestria. After hearing all of the information and cruel actions towards defenseless foals that are different than the rest of them were left to die. This caused a change in twilight sparkle that made Zecora a little terrified. Twilight's eyes began to glow purple and she began crying. Her tears glowed just like her eyes. Zecora was fascinated with this phenomenon and was curious as to what caused it. Zecora did a test on the tears collected. What she found astounded her. Twilight managed to put her magic into her tears. When this discovery was revealed to Twilight, she started to run home to see her colt. The minute she arrived, she discovered that the colt grew more. She wrote an urgent letter to Princess Celestia. She had spike send the letter to her and found within five minutes was replied with another letter. The message caused Twilight to teleport to celestia and when she arrived, she blacked out. Princess Celestia summoned Shining armor to carry her to celestias sleeping quarters. Twilight's brother was worried about his sister and stayed with her until Celestia said she would be alright. Celestia promised Shining Armor that she would watch over her. Twilight did not wake up for four days and this had Celestia and her brother very worried. Twilight woke up at noon on the fifth day. She woke to the sound of Celestia entering to check up on her and she asked what happened to her. Celestia replied that you blacked out. She then asked how long she was out. Celestia told her four and a half days and Twilight screamed because she was worried about her colt. Celestia asked what caused her to freak out. Twilight told Celestia about the horrifying information that was revealed to her. Celestia noticed as she was told about what her student learned, her eyes glowed purple and her tears glowed the same color. Celestias heart broke at the distress that her question caused. Celestia gave her a mother's loving hug and kiss and wished that she could take her students pain away. Celestia asked when she could meet this new alicorn colt. Twilight said that her friends were throwing him a welcome to ponyville party and said that she should make a surprise appearance at the party. Celestia gave a smile that made her shine like the sun. After their long talk twilight went home and was greeted by her colt who had jumped into her arms with tears falling like rain down his face and told her that he thought that she had abandoned him as his birthparents had done and this broke her and she drew the colt to her kissed away his tears and gave him a big hug to which he fell asleep in her arms. She carried him up the stairs an laid him to bed. After she was done, she sang him a lullaby that was in a different language. Spike fell asleep and Twiight put him to bed as well. Twilight gathered her friends to see how the party planning was coming. Everything was going according to plan. She wrote to the princess and told her the good news. Celestia was very excited to hear it. The group still had to think of a name to call the colt. The colt had come downstairs and had heard of the discussion. He said that he liked the name Crystal Dragon. The group thought the name was fitting. He had reptillian eyes and dragon like wings

A family at last.

Crystal became so big and strong that Applejack asked him to help out at the farm. For the first ime in his life, Crystal found true happiness. the other ponies noticed this change and another one as well. Crystal's entire body seemed to glow as if it had an inner fire and made out of crystal because he shined like diamonds.Twilight announced that she was part of a planning party to plan for her son's birthday and welcome to ponyville party. Crystal told Twilight that the best present any one could give him is an oppertunity to see a fellow alicorn. This made twilight smile and she got right to work writing a letter to the princesses Celestia and Luna. They replied in five minutes saying they would be there. Twilight was very excited. Her son is going to be so happy.

Crystal had been working hard on Applejack's farm so she gave him ten percent of the apples as a reward for his hard work. this excited him so much that he jumped fifteen feet in the air which shocked the daylights out of Applejack. Applejack told Twilight what she saw and Twilight looked at her son with a amazed look in her eyes. Twilight asked Crystal if he would consent to be studied by her? Crystal said sure, but why? Twilight replied that your differences from the other ponies make you unique. When she looked at her son again, she saw tears flowing down his cheeks. Twilight asked him what wrong to which he said you dont like me because i am different in a questioning voice. Only then did Twilight see the pain that her answer caused. She explained her answer to him saying i would like to study you because although you are different, you are also all the stronger for it. Crystal thought about this and gave Twilight a big hug and thanked her for loving him when his birth parents did not. this caused Twilight to go into her room and cry for several hours. upon hearing her cries, Crystal went to go find Applejack. When he found her he told her what was going on and Applejack walked with him back to their house and spoke with twilight. She told Applejack about what Crystal had said and that made Applejack cry. When they were done crying together, they went down to see Crystal. They told him that they would always love him no matter what and the smile this broughtr from Crystal made him shine brighter than the sun.

They had planned the surprise party in four days. They each had a little more work to do in time for the party. as they went about their respective chores they found that Crystal was beaten for being different and was now in the hospital in the Intensive Care Unit. Twilight then found that she had glown a deep purple almost the color of a bruise and she was then teleported to Canterlot by the combined power of both princesses. What Celestia and Luna saw from Twilight made them extremely frightened because they had never seen such a mastery of raww power. They got her to calm down long enough to get her to tell them what was wrong. After Twilight told them all three teleported to the Hospital to check on Crystal. Twilight vowed in a voice so menacing that she would find whoever caused her son so much pain. The voice was so menacing that chills of fear for the lives of the people responsible. They left the room and talked and said they had bettertr find who had done this terrible crime before someone else gets hurt.

Hospital

When all the other friends and family left, the only ponies in the room were Twilight and Crystal. Twilight remebered her heritage and tried to see if her tears had healing powers. While in the state of raw power, Celestia and Luna felt the power surge and hurried back to Twilight. When they arrived, they saw that Crystal was out of his self induced coma and was now sleeping peacefully while Twilight had blacked out on the floor. Celestia levitated Twilight onto the bed nearest to Crystal. once this process was completed, Celestia told Luna to go fetch a doctor to look after her student. When the doctor heard what happened to Twilight, he ran so fast as to make Rainbowdash envious. the doctor went immediately to Twilight's side to tend to her. After two hours of waiting Celestia and Luna heard a long steady beep and a blood curling scream to go with it. Twilight once again changed into her raw power form and stablized Crystal but then she blacked out again. after fifteen minutes, Twilight woke up to find Princess Luna watching over her. Once again Twilight started to glow and the terrifying thing about this time is she didn't glow purple but a deep red color, the color of blood. She spoke in a voice so menacing that Luna had passed out. Once Twilight saw this, she came back to herself and screamed for a doctor. Celestia heard about her sister and went to see how she was doing. Luna saw Celestia walk in and told her what happened to Twilight. This made Celestia very worried for her student. When Celestia walked in to check on Twilight, she discovered Twilight was asleep. Celestia told her "sleep my faithful student and dream of good things". After this was said she kissed Twilight on her brow. this woke Twilight up and she threw her arms around Celestia and began crying. Celestia was so moved that she began to cry herself. Celestia vowed to Twilight that she would find the ponies reponsible and punish them severely. The only stipulation that the princess requested is that Twilight let her handle the situation. Twilight reluctantly agreed to this and it was settled. Twilight and Crystal were allowed to leave the hospital a few days later and were very excited. the day was almost near for the party. Twilight had started to teach crystal from home and never let him out of her sight. Celestia and Luna made a surprise visit to Twilight and Crystal. Each Princess bestowed gifts upon crystal to hasten his healing.

A dangerous reunion

Three weeks later, Twilight and Crystal were allowed to leave the hospital. Twilight's strong sense of hatred towards Crystal's assailants and protection of her colt grew stronger and stronger yet. Two weeks after they were allowed to leave the hospital, they ran into Crystal's assailants in the town square. Twilight looked at her colt and saw only pure terror in his eyes. This made Twilight angry enough to change into her raw magic form. While the assailants advanced towards them, Twilight began to cast a spell that made them stop dead in their tracks and question why they were there. But the spell did not phase the assailants for very long for they were soon advancing again. This made Twilight forget herself and gave each assailant the same injuries as they gave Crystal. They screamed in terror and in pain. Twilight blacked out and began to fall from the sky from where she had been in her raw power form. Crystal flew faster than Rainbowdash to save his mom. Crystal then hurried to the hospital to get his mother some treatment. Crystal had stayed by her bed to watch over her while she slept. She seemed at peace while she slept but once while watching over her, Crystal saw his mother glow a mixture of blood red and lavender purple. He screamed in terror and called for a doctor and five minutes later a doctor came running in. He saw Twilight and did everything he could to help her. Crystal then called upon Zecora for help. She immediately set off for ponyville to get to the hospital. Zecora collected a few viles of blood from twilight to study and see what ails her dear friend. What Zecora found was that Twilight had found new powers which had corrupted her true powers. Zecora made a potion to heal Twilight that cancelled out the magic's effect. Zecora had also discovered that the spell was cast upon her by a magician much more powerful than her. What displeased Zecora most of all was that someone had intended the spell to kill Twilight and Crystal. Crystal was not effected because of his genetic mutations. Twilight was effected differently than intended because she was very powerful. Zecora gave Twilight the potion through a medical I.V. This was done so because everypony was worried that it would choke her

if swallowed. The doctors were greatly impressed with her knowelledge of healing remedies and herbs. Applejack took care of Crystal while Twilight was in the hospital. Celestia heard about Twilght and became afraid for the life of her student and her colt. Celestia had ordered some of her personal guards to watch over the family. Twilight made a full recovery. She was allowed to leave the hospital a few days later. When Twilight got back home, she discovered her colt was now closer to becoming a stallion. This made her so proud it brought tears to her eyes. When Crystal finally saw her, he litterally flew into her arms with tears rolling down his face. When Pinky Pie came to visit, she asked"you know what this calls for? A party."

The party was like a very long one because it lasted for two days. Everypony had so much fun that they wished it didnt have to end. But like all good things, it must come to an end. The way the party ended was one that made everypony scared of Twilight.

The note

While the party was still going, Twilight went around the room and talked with everypony. While in the middle of a conversation, two colts came up to her with a note in an envelop. When Twilight finished reading the note, she started to levitate an object contained with in the note. A piece of Crystal's tail. This was the final straw for Twilight. Twilight began to levitate and glow a very deep red, the color of blood. This terrified all of the ponies in the room. Spike summoned Celestia to help Twilight calm down, but she was in consolable. Celestia and Luna saw what was on the ground and became very very angry. They vowed to anihlated. Everypony saw what was laying on the ground and began a search party. The only thing that made them even angrier was that it was signed by a group of unknown origins and size. The group only wanted the elements of harmony but what they were soon to get would be much more powerful and much more dangerous. When the search party finally found Crystal, he was beaten pretty badly and near death. When he saw Twilight, he said" I love you mom" and it was with those last few words that Crystal had died. Twilight wept for a few minutes and then moved on to the killers. She walked out where they could all see her and spoke to them. Her voice was a deep monotone filled with power. They began to charge her and she began to glow. While in her raw magic state, she killed everyone of the groups members except the kids. With this done, she left all the bodies lying around. When they went to get Crystal's body, they discovered that it was levitating on a bright light. Crystal's body became like crystal and his cutie mark became the darkest shade of black. When the group got home, they discovered Crystal was alive again. This brought tears of joy to everypony around. Twilight then kissed his brow and gave him a big hug. Twilight then asked him what he thought about living in Canterlot for awhile. Crystal said sure but asked if Applejjack and our other friends could visit us. Twilight said yes and could stay as long as they like. This made Crystal the happiest alicorn in all of equestria. Twilight and her friends figured out his true name at his smile. They told him " Crystal, we believe we have figured out your true name. We believe it is Aurora after the northern lights. During the transformation, Aurora's eyes tured blue and seemed to glow as if they had an inner fire. Now Aurora was even more powerful than any pony ever.

Aurora and Twilight

Aurora and Twilight became even stronger through their ordeal a year earlier. They decided that they needed to go on a vacation. The only problem was where to go. It became clear that no single place would do, so they decided to visit several places. They decided on visiting Manehattan, Apploosa, Canterlot, and Fillydelphia.

They also decided to take their friends along. So the journey began. Operation: Vacation was now on. Apple Jack, Applebloom, Rarity, Sweetybelle, Rainbow Dash, Scootaloo, Fluttershy, Twilight, Aurora, and Spike set out.

They brought sunscreen, food, tents, and pretty much everything else you would want or need on vacation.

First stop was at Canterlot to visit the princesses. The group that was annihilated, their children began it again. As soon as Celestia said that, Twilight's eyes blazed red with inner fire. The princesses decided that a few guards should accompany them.

Celestia chose Shining Armor, Silver Swiftwings, and Bronze Shield. Twilight began to fear for her son. These ponies are trying to kill him again and while they're on vacation. When done talking with the princesses, Twilight returned to the group. She looked for her son. And ran frantically to try to find him when he was not in the group.

When Twilight found Aurora, he was beaten unconscious and his attackers were still there telling him to get up. They kept kicking him. Twilight began to see all different shades of red. She charged at his attackers. She gored one throught the gut and used magic to hold the other while the gored attacker lay dying. She turned and looked at the attacker caught in her spell. Celestia and Luna came and saw what had transpired there. They tried. To calm her down but Twilight was in her raw power state and she had bloodlust. Shining Armor knocked out his sister so they can get the attacker.

Next day when Twilight woke up, she tried to walk to the door. She collapsed in a heap with a thud. They heard it and ran to check to see if Twilight was ok. They saw her and ran to her aid. When she one again regained consciousness, she asked why there was blood on her horn. They told her she gored one of her son's attackers. That brought her memory back. She asked about Aurora and the said he was in the hospital. She jumped and ran to the medical wing. The sight that befell her was an all to familiar site and one she had hoped she didn't have to see again.
