//-------------------------------------------------------// Return of a Nebula -by The 14th Doctor- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Return of a Friend and A new couple //-------------------------------------------------------// Return of a Friend and A new couple The problems all started when Galaxy moved away 2 years ago. I had no one to talk to, no one to confide in, and no one to comfort me in my hard times. Galaxy's move was a big decision. He had only done so because his parents had both found jobs in Fillydelphia. That didn't help my mood at all. I was walking in town one afternoon when I walked by Galaxy's cottage. I rested myself on the fence and imagined a young me and Galaxy playing and fooling around. Quillton walked up. "Hey Quill." I sighed. Quillton titled his head to one side. "Missing Galaxy still?" He asked me. I nodded. "Well, his parents were always moving. You're not the only one who missed him, you know. I saw Crystal a little while ago, and she was almost in complete tears." Quillton told me. I felt sorry for Crystal. She had finally worked up the courage to tell Galaxy she liked him, and he had moved away before she could. I could only imagine what it must've felt like for her. I walked over to her cottage and saw Crystal looking at a picture of Galaxy. I knocked on her bedroom door. "Come in." Crystal said, sounding very heart-broken. She saw me walk in with a concerned look on my face. Soon, she ran over to me in a hug and tears began streaming down her face. "Hey, it's alright, Crystal. Galaxy's move affected all of us. I'm sure he'll be back one day." I promised. Crystal sniffed. "I finally worked up to courage to tell him how I feel about him. But when he moved...." Crystal didn't need to finish her sentence. I knew exactly how she felt. "Mocha, I'm going to be honest here. There is no pony in Equestria like Galaxy. He was the sweetest, kindest, and most understanding pegasus you could ever meet." She told me. I nodded. "He was. Galaxy always did look at the world different from everypony else, including us. We were all 18 when he moved. He should be 20 now, and I'm sure he will come back." I told the purple pegasus. My prediction soon came true a few days later. I was heading to my Cafe in town. It was called "Vanilla Mocha's Coffee and Latte Shoppe." Everypony in town loved my coffee. One day while I was working, a dark blue pegasus with a stetson walked in. He sat at in a booth by the window, waiting for me to take his order. "What can I get you?" I asked him. His hat was tipped over his eyes where I couldn't see them. "Just a vanilla cappuccino." He told me. I nodded and went to go fix it. That's when I recognized his voice. "Was that...." I asked myself. I looked back at him. "Galaxy doesn't wear stetsons." I told myself. I shook my head. That's when I saw his cutie mark. It almost made me drop his order. It was a frozen galaxy in mid-rotation. I gasped. I motioned over to Quillton. He seemed confused. I mouthed Galaxy's name and pointed my head over in his direction. Quillton looked over and saw the blue pegasus. "Him?" Quillton mouthed back. I nodded in shock. Quillton stared at the cutie mark and gasped as well. He darted over to me. "Mocha, please tell me that's not who I think it is." He told me. "I think that is Galaxy, Quill." I replied. The white earth pony looked at me in shock. I walked back over with his drink. For the first time, I got a glimpse of his eyes. Dark brown, just like Galaxy's. I swallowed and decided to ask. "Gal...Galaxy?" I asked him. Galaxy looked up. "Yes?" He asked me. I took a deep breath. "It's me, Vanilla Mocha." I told him. Galaxy stared at me for at least a minute before he almost dropped his cappuccino. He gasped. "Mocha?" He asked me. I gasped and laughed, hugging my best friend. "Oh my Celestia! I didn't know you ran a coffee shop!" He laughed. "I didn't know you wore stetsons!" I laughed back. He glanced up. "Wha..oh this!" He felt his stetson. "New look. I wear stetsons now. Stetsons are cool." He told me. That's when he gasped. "Crystal! I have to tell her I'm back!" He exclaimed. "Breeze, Paradise, can you two watch the shop while I'm gone?" I asked my friends. "Sure thing, Mochy!" They squee'd in unison. I giggled and ran with Galaxy to Crystal's place. I knocked on her door. Sure enough, there was Crystal laying flat on her back, staring up at the ceiling. "Crystal? You alright?" I asked her. She shook her head and buried her face in a pillow. "Well, then I guess you won't like the surprise I brought you." I smirked. Crystal lowered her pillow. "Surprise?" She asked. I nodded and stepped aside. Crystal gasped in complete shock when she saw Galaxy walk through her door. "Galaxy!!!!!" She squealed in delight, tackling the blue pegasus in a hug. "Hey! Oof!" Galaxy exclaimed as they went down on the floor, Crystal on top of Galaxy. She blushed. "Good to see you, too." He laughed. The two started into each other's eyes. "Hey." Crystal smiled, blushing crimson red. Galaxy smiled back. "I missed you." Crystal told Galaxy. "Galaxy, I haven't been honest with you. When you moved away, it was the worst two years of my life. All I ever thought about was you. When we went to the fair as teenagers, when we went on the Ferris Wheel, and we looked into each other's eyes like we are now...." Crystal was cut off when she felt Galaxy's lip pressed gently against hers. She closed her eyes and kissed Galaxy back. She stared at him in amazement when the kiss broke. Galaxy smiled. "No need for words, Crys. I feel the exact the same way about you." He confessed. Crystal gasped. "You mean..?" She realized as Galaxy stood up. Galaxy nodded, still smiling. "Yeah, Crys. I would love to be with you." He told her. A tear of joy ran down Crystal's eye. She sniffed, smiling. "Oh, come here you...you big dummy!" She giggled as the two of them hugged one another until the hug turned into a passionate kiss. I let a tear run down my eye. Galaxy chuckled. "I saw that, Mocha." He told me. I scoffed. "No! That was me just wiping my eye." I told him. He and Crystal both looked at me. "Oh alright! I'm not that tough on the inside." I admitted. Galaxy and Crystal giggled. "Well, I see you're happy, Crystal." I smiled. "Now that I have my Galaxy back, yeah. I am." Crystal replied. "He means the world to me." She told me. Galaxy looked at Crystal. "You're all I ever thought about when I moved away, Crys." He told her. "There was never anypony else. Know why?" He asked. Crystal shook her head. "Because you were the one my heart went to." Galaxy smiled, blushing. Crystal blushed as well, kissing Galaxy's cheek. "I love you, Galaxy Nebula." She said. Galaxy hugged Crystal. "I love you too, Crystal Harmony." He replied, hugging her tighter. Crystal didn't let go. She let Galaxy embrace her as the of them had reunited. As for me? Oh I still run my coffee shop. However, what happened after their reunion is another story..... 2 Months Later......... "Hey! Mocha! I need a double caramel coffee and extra cream!" Galaxy called over, wearing a green apron. "You betcha, Galaxy!" I whooped as I whipped up the order. Galaxy flew up, caught the order, and served it to Quillton Brooks. "Here ya go, buddy." Galaxy smiled. Quillton winked. Galaxy and Crystal both worked at my shop now as waiters. They enjoyed it, and were happy being together. This was the story of how Galaxy returned to Ponyville not just for his friends, but for a special purple pegasus he had know since foalhood. All of us have had amazing adventures since then, but I think that's a story for another time, don't you?
