Royal Rose

It was a nice fall day and the leaves had turned to their vibrant colours of red, orange, and yellow. The sun was at it's highest peak in the sky and would soon make it's descent to the below the horizon. This was the best time to be in the palace gardens, they were always so captivating this time of year. But the Queen would not she the lovely fall she made , her foal was coming, her first child. She could hardly wait she see her precious face. She had manny responsibilities when she grew up. As soon as the baby was born, the alicorn swaddled her foal in a blanket and embraced her. In an hour, she would have to announce the birth of another royal family member. Another alicorn. She smiled and the sleeping filly. She had a light creamy coat like her father, she also had his light blue eyes with specks of aqua green in them, and the young princess had her mother's pink and red curly hair.

"Does my husband know that the child has been born yet?" She inquired, as she looked up at the nurse, who she smiled gently at. Which the nurse looked at her and shook her head. "The call for a page and have the pony call my husband, no dought he'll want to see his daughter."

"Yes My Queen," said the nurse as she bowed, "He will know as fast a possible. Page!" She yelled nd a page from outside the door rushed in and waited for orders. "Go tell the King that his daughter has been born, and lead him here."

The page trotted back outside to inform the king. The Queen could hardly wait. Her daughter was so lovely and her husband would lover to see her. Then the peaceful look on her daughter's face turned into an upset one and then she started to cry. She had no idea what to do! She had read books on foals but that was different than actually having one. There are  many things, that crying could mean, she might be hungry, she might be cold, no wait, she has a blanket, she might be hot! her eyes swivelled away from the baby and to the giggling nurses.

"What so funny?" she asked confused,this was going to be a long ride till the baby could take care of herself. "I don't know what to do so you take care of her!" she said as she used her magic to levitate the baby over to the nurses, and they did what they thought would work and put a binky in the foal's mouth, which made the foal peaceful and quiet again.

"You have to feed the baby you know how right?" said one of the nurses, still giggling a bit, "we can teach you if you don't."

"I know how so the baby is just hungry?" Queen Rose asked, with a relieved expression she picked the baby up with her magic and began to feed the baby. They sat pleasantly for a few minutes and two of the four nurses left, when her husband arrived.

"I came as soon as I heard!" the king said as soon as he burst through the door. he was strong built, with a creamy coat and blue eyes with his white hair. "How is our daughter?" he asked as she shifted his velvet cloke and fiddled with his crown.

"She is fine." She smiled at the nervous antics of her husband, he was adorable when he go like this. She used her magic to lifted up the foal and gave it to her husband, who grasped the delicate creature in his magic. He then pulled the foal over to him and cuddled.

"What have you named her?" her looked up from the baby, and towards his wife. "I was thinking it should have Rose in it. She does have your namesake hair."

"Hmm... Gloria,  or Rose? isn't the popular thing now to have a middle name, and a last one?" She was really thinking about the name. Why hadn't the thought of this before hand! "Gloria Adeline Rose, that has a nicer ring to it."

"could we name her after someone... Remember the Court mage from a century ago, I believe her name was Beezus," He sugested, she was a powerful mage that he taught himself.

"I like Gloria and rose Though, Beezus could be her middle name." She smiled, at her thought, "Princess Gloria Beezus Rose, I like how that sounds.

"I love it," He smiled he then used his magic to give the baby back to his wife and then pulled up a chair so he could chat with his lovely wife.

They sat there in peace until the had to announce the birth of the baby, and went to the balcony,  and lifted up the baby and decreed her next in line for the throne, and decreed her name. They then took the baby to the nursery and left her with the nanies. The king still had to do his evening court, and his wife went to the gardens to watch the sunset.

"I should send a letter Celestia that I Had my foal," Queen Rose thought, as she looked at the setting sunset. She used her magic to teleport a pen and quill from her room, and began to Write,

Dear Celestia,

I have wonderful news! With great joy I tell you that I Gave birth to my foal today, as you know the birth of an alicorn is a joyous actuation, and I would love to have you and Princess Luna, come to her Foaling Party. She has my Hair and her father's eyes and coat, she hasn't shown her magic yet, but I heard of Cadences' foal. She if she is like her foal, then you might need to help me at first, I was never too goo with magic. Anyway, I'm getting off topic, her name is Gloria Beezus Rose. She is a pretty thing. I would love for you to see her.

"Now that that is over. I can send it, I haven't talked to her in forever. I wonder how her kingdom is." She thought and then used her magic to send it to Celestia,it took a fair amount of magic to send it to the other side of the world. She signed, Luna. Her and Luna never got alo0ng, She didn't understand what the problem was that luna had.  Anyway that didn't matter now. Al that mattered was taking care of Gloria, and court tomorrow. Ugh, people would already try to have arranged marriages, with there, son, and her duaghter. Sometimes ponies disgust me.
