Subject 14-4-13, aka David Bless. Prisoner for a crime he definitely committed. He's not evil, he just beat three men to death when they tried to have their way with his little sister. He has spent the last four months in a maximum security prison. One day a man comes to his cell and tells him that he has been given to the government to be used a lab rat in an experiment involving teleportation. Something goes wrong and, by pure chance, David ends up in Equestria.
