Short: For Science
***A Patriot Pony Short***
The apartment complex bordered a suburban neighborhood.
It had been difficult to find, hidden behind turn after winding turn.
With doors on the outside, Sunset Shimmer had to circle the structure twice to find the specific residence she was searching for.
She checked the address on her phone one final time before knocking on the door.
Then, the waiting began.
She glanced over her shoulder, up and down the street behind her.
Across the street, children played in their yards, kicking a soccer ball into makeshift ‘nets’ constructed from small cones.
Occasionally, the ball would be kicked a little too hard, and it would roll into the street, but one of the kids would always be quick to catch it before any cars came along.
Distracted, Sunset didn’t hear the sound of gentle footsteps approaching the other side of the door.
At last, the door swung open.
Sunset spun back around at the sound of the creaking hinges and came face to face with Twilight Sparkle, her newest classmate at Canterlot High.
Twilight’s face lit up with excitement at the sight of her friend.
"You made it! I was afraid you'd be late."
"Late?"
Sunset scoffed at the idea and rested her hands on her hips.
"I'm never late to anything. Can… I come in?"
Twilight's cheeks turned red with embarrassment.
In her excitement, she had neglected to formally welcome Sunset into her apartment.
She nodded her head quickly and waved her hand in a ‘this way’ motion.
"Yes, of course… Please, come on inside."
Sunset grinned as she followed Twilight through the door and into the Sparkle residence.
Once inside, her head spun as though it was on a swivel.
Since she met Twilight, Sunset had wondered what kind of environment the organized nerd would live in, and what she was went against everything she had previously imagined.
From the door to the kitchen at the far end of the corridor, the floor looked trashed.
Papers, notes, books, and writing utensils were everywhere.
It looked as though an Office Max warehouse had been hit by a tornado, relocating every unit of stock into a messy heap on the ground.
Sunset struggled to walk through the mess as she followed Twilight deeper into her hoard.
"Your place looks… bigger in the inside."
It was the nicest thing she could bring herself to say.
Twilight lead her down the main corridor and into a room on the left.
Sunset assumed it was an office space of some kind, but with the mess, it was hard to tell.
"Space isn't an issue…”
Twilight picked up a stray pen from a desk behind her and a white lab coat from the back of a velvet chair in the corner.
"The rent, however, is becoming more and more of a problem every month I stay…”
She placed a gentle hand on the desk beside her and glanced towards the window.
“I'm afraid I'll have to move back in with my parents, if things don't improve."
Sunset's gaze hit the floor, and she pursed her lips.
She silently considered ways she could comfort her friend, but she didn't have the slightest idea of just how to do it.
Living on her own was something Sunset had grown accustom to.
She had been on her own at a young age.
Princess Celestia was her first real friend, but after she ran away to the human world, she was alone again, fending for herself in an unforgiving city.
Sunset knew she had to be a friend for Twilight.
She had to be there when she was needed.
The Equestrian finally laid a firm, but supportive hand on Twilight's shoulder.
"I'm sure you'll think of something, Twilight."
She managed a reassuring smile and rubbed Twilight’s back.
"You're a smart girl. It's what you do."
Twilight looked back at her, meeting her gaze, and she smiled sadly.
"Thank you…”
They stood in silence, looking into each other’s eyes.
Sunset sensed she had hit a nerve, because Twilight didn't look away.
She just continued to stare, smiling.
When Twilight realized what she was doing, she quickly looked away, and her cheeks burned red.
“Um... Well, enough about that. You're here, because-”
Sunset nodded her head and waved her hand in a circle, cutting Twilight off.
"… because you want to know more about where I'm from…"
She put on a brave smile.
“You've been asking for over a week, ever since the Friendship Games."
Twilight gathered a notepad, and with the pen she had acquired earlier, she gestured towards a pair of chairs sitting by the window on the opposite side of the room.
"I hope I haven't been too pushy…"
She waded through the mess with a grace that impressed Sunset.
Step after step, she seemed to float above the sea of paper and books until she reached the chairs.
“There's just so much about this… Equestria that I want to know about, and you... Well, you're from Equestria. You're a direct source of reliable information."
Sunset grinned and rolled her eyes as she clumsily sat in the chair opposite of Twilight’s.
"Yeah…"
Her rear it the cushion with a soft ‘thud’.
“That's me…”
Twilight laughed sweetly before dropping her pen on the floor.
She frowned and leaned forward to pick it up, stretching her arm outward in the most outlandish way possible, gripping the pen with just her thumb and pointer finger before lifting it back up to her pad.
Sunset watched Twilight's every move with an intense curiosity and interest.
Her behavior was bizarre.
It was as though Twilight was purposely acting stranger than normal.
Since the moment she had arrived, everything Sunset thought she knew about her new friend’s quiet life was completely wrong.
Though the pen was back in her possession, Twilight continued to bend over, giving Sunset a clear view down her partially buttoned shirt.
Her heart began to race and pound against her chest as she caught a fleeting glimpse of the tops of Twilight's breasts.
"That was clumsy of me…"
Twilight brushed loose locks of her out of her eyes as she sat upright.
"Now, are you ready to begin, Sunset?"
Sunset had faded away, and she found herself unable to respond.
"Sunset?"
At hearing her name a second time, She shook her head as she snapped back into reality.
"Huh? Oh… I'm sorry… I was just thinking about… something… I'm ready if you are."
Twilight smiled at her and looked down at the notes and questions she had assembled.
"Alright, we’ll start with some easy ones."
She readied her notepad and pen like she was preparing herself for battle.
Then, Twilight cleared her throat.
"What can you tell me about Equestria? What is it like in comparison to this world?"
Sunset felt a wave of relief wash over her.
It was an easy one.
"It's not all that different, actually. There’s a bright, blue sky, green plants, great cities, and small towns… The only real difference is the creatures that inhabit it."
"That's incredible…”
Twilight looked like a kid on Christmas morning as she jotted down some notes on her pad.
"You've said before that the pony world ‘mirrors’ this world, literally. What can you tell me about your kind, the ponies?"
Sunset shifted in her seat as she tried to recall any basic knowledge of the ponies of Equestria.
It had been so long since she had walked on four hooves and used magic from a horn that protruded from her forehead, but there were some things she could never forget.
"Well… In Equestria, there are three main subspecies of ponies. There's the Earth pony, Unicorn, and Pegasus. The Unicorns can harness magic from their horns while the Pegasi use their wings to fly.”
Twilight nodded her head as she continued to write.
“I see… Now, tell me about the princesses, Celestia and Luna. They… rule your world?”
Sunset tried to remember her last encounter with Princess Celestia.
She had yelled and screamed such horrible things to her.
Sunset closed her eyes and nodded.
“Y-Y-Yes… Celestia and Luna are Alicorns. They have a horn and wings. They rule Equestria from the city of Canterlot…"
Twilight could see that Sunset was becoming unhinged.
“Is… this too much? We can stop, if you'd like.”
Sunset’s eyes shot open, and she raised a finger to her cheek.
She realized she had been crying.
Her eyes met Twilight’s.
There was definitely a sense of concern in her expression, but Sunset couldn't stop.
She had promised Twilight an exclusive interview with an Equestrian, and she was going to get it.
Sunset sniffles as she wiped her eyes.
“I'm fine… Let's keep going.”
Twilight didn't look convinced, but she didn't have anything else to say, so she looked back at her notepad.
"Why don't you tell me about your Canterlot. Is it anything like our Canterlot High?"
"It's almost exactly the same.”
Sunset confirmed her question with a gentle nod.
"In the sense of hierarchy and structure, both are identical. The only real difference is the Equestrian Canterlot isn't a school. In Equestria, it’s a city perched on the side of a mountain."
Twilight quickly wrote down several more notes.
"Very interesting…"
Not looking up from her pad, she asked her next question.
"Let's jump back to the types of ponies… Which were you, Sunset?”
Then, Twilight paused and looked up cautiously.
“If mean… You can tell me if you don't mind, of course…"
Sunset blushed and tried to avoid Twilight’s gaze.
It was strange having someone so interested in her previous life.
It was almost a struggle to get the words out.
"I… Um… I was… a Unicorn, before I came to this world…"
"A Unicorn? That's amazing!"
Twilight squealed and held the notepad tightly against her chest before regaining some amount of self control.
Slightly embarrassed by the positive attention, Sunset’s eyes fell until they hit her shoes.
"Um… Would you like anything, Sunset? I've asked a lot of questions. We can take a short break, if you'd like."
Sunset looked back up from her shoes and met Twilight's gaze.
Her eyes burned with a strange intensity behind her glasses.
"No… I don't really need anything."
She actually wanted a glass of water, but she was afraid to get up.
It was very possible that she could find herself lost in the messy apartment and never find her way back out.
"We can continue. This is kinda nice, actually, talking about Equestria…"
Twilight grinned and laid back in her chair, taking on a more relaxed pose, almost like it was the answer she was expecting.
"Great! We can talk about your pony anatomy, next."
Sunset nodded her head, prompting Twilight to carry on.
"Uh… Sure thing. What do you want to know?"
Twilight set her pen down and raised her hand to her brow, fixing the glasses the rested on the crest of her nose.
"I want to start with the pony reproductive systems…"
Twilight spoke casually as she rested her chin on her fist.
"What can you tell me about yours?"
Sunset's cheeks burned bright red.
She could feel the hit sensation on her face that was surely showing.
"I… W-W-What? My reproductive… what?"
Twilight sat forward in her chair, clasping her hands together as she leaned closer towards Sunset.
"Your reproductive systems. Your pony reproductive systems, rather. What can you tell me about them? How did they work?"
Sunset's eyes darted nervously to every corner of the room.
She had to look anywhere but into Twilight’s eyes.
It was so sudden and jarring that Sunset couldn't formulate a proper response without tripping over her own words.
"Well… I guess… they’re pretty similar to… the… the horses of this world…"
She hoped that answer would satisfy Twilight, despite its poor structure and lack of confidence.
Twilight’s serious expression never broke as she eyed Sunset.
"Tell me, Sunset, do ponies in Equestria engage in sexual intercourse only to mate, or do they do it for personal pleasure as well?"
Her entire face began to feel uncomfortably hot.
"I… Uh… Ponies do it… for pleasure, sometimes… Is this really necessary for the interview, Twilight?"
Twilight nodded her head as she set her pen and notepad aside.
In one swift motion, she stood up from her chair and calmly walked over to Sunset.
Twilight leaned forward, placing her hands on Sunset’s.
Sunset could feel her gentle breathing hit her face.
“I have just one last question…"
Sunset no longer knew what was happening.
Her hands were gripped to the arms of the chair while Twilight’s hands gripped hers.
She had never been touched by Twilight, not in this way, at least.
The feeling was new and, in a strange way, exciting.
"Do mares in Equestria fall in love with other mares?"
At last, it dawned on Sunset what Twilight's intentions were.
Like a recording playing in reverse, Sunset began to recall Twilighf’s strange behaviors from before, and it all began to make sense.
"Tw-Twilight…"
Sunset hesitated as she leaned in even closer, her lower lip quivering
“Are you saying… what I think you're saying?"
Twilight's face was inches away from Sunset's.
She licked her lips and pushed her glasses up her nose.
"What do you think I'm saying?"
Sunset could feel Twilight's hot breath hitting her lips now, and her heart raced at an alarming rate.
Before Sunset could answer, Twilight leaned forward, closing the gap, and pressed her lips against ger own.
Her eyes widened, and she fell back into the chair with Twilight on top of her.
The kiss intensified as seconds became minutes of unbroken lip contact.
Sunset's shocked expression began to fade, and her eyes began to close as she melted in Twilight's embrace.
Feeling bolder than ever, Twilight probed her tongue against Sunset's lower lip.
The Equestrian was acting solely on her animalistic instincts at this point.
Her lips parted and allowed the foreign tongue entry.
Soft moans came from both girls as the simple kiss evolved into a sloppy, tongue-filled mess.
"Twi-Twilight…"
Sunset tried to speak in between the hot kisses, but Twilight’s aggressive advances made it difficult.
"I… had… no- mph! … no idea…"
Twilight broke the kiss at last.
Breathing heavily, she began to suck on Sunset's neck, extracting lewd, inaudible sounds from her.
"Ever since I first met you, at the Friendship Games…"
Twilight moaned as she bit Sunset's neck gently.
"I've wanted this… I've wanted you…"
All the while Twilight's lips explored Sunset's neck, her fingers were working on Sunset's shirt.
She met no opposition from Sunset.
"Here… Let me…"
She finished the last of the buttons for Twilight and eagerly pulled her shirt back, letting it fall down her arms.
With the shirt nearly gone, only a lacy, red bra stood in between Twilight and Sunset’s breasts.
The sight of Sunset's cleavage was enough to make Twilight drool.
Her kisses began to travel downward from Sunset's neck to her chest, extracting longer and hotter moans from her.
"Mmmmm... Oh, Twilight…"
Sunset moaned loudly and stretched her arms into the air as her friend's lips touched the soft skin of her breasts.
"Are… Are we really doing this?"
Twilight was so excited, she could hardly keep her fingers steady as she tore away Sunset's bra.
"I've waited this long for you…"
She lustfully eyed Sunset's naked breasts.
"I can wait any longer, Sunset…”
A wide smile crept onto Sunset's lips.
"Yes…”
Twilight cocked her head and made a confused look.
"That's my answer…”
She whimpered softly as she wrapped her arms around Twilight’s back.
"Yes, mares do fall in love with each other…"
Twilight beamed and mashed her lips against Sunset's, forcing her into a deep and passionate kiss.
The Equestrian returned the kiss in kind and wrapped her arms even tighter around Twilight.
In an instant, positions were switched.
Sunset rolled Twilight over in the chair and climbed on top of her.
"Now…”
Sunset bared her teeth and snarled like a beast in heat.
"I'm going to remove everything but those sexy glasses of yours…"
Twilight gulped nervously as Sunset tore away her lab coat, tossing it into the rest of the clutter that littered the floor.
Her skirt was next.
Sunset wasted no time in pulling it down to Twilight’s ankles, revealing her soaking wet girlhood.
Twilight trembled as watched Sunset lean in close and take a deep sniff.
"This is just like I dreamed it would be…”
Sunset looked up from between her legs.
"What was that?"
Twilight blushed and quickly shook her head dismissively.
"N-N-Nothing… Just… keep going, please…"
Sunset grinned and rolled her eyes as she went back down on Twilight’s clit.
As she approached the entrance to her girlhood, the aroma of sex became far more potent and more intoxicating.
Sunset couldn't stop herself from doing what she did next.
Without so much as a second thought, she lunged forward, pressing her lips firmly against the wet folds of Twilight's slit.
Twilight cried out, and her body shook violently.
Sunset playfully licked up and down Twilight's girlhood, causing her to moan loudly and shiver uncontrollably.
She had to bit down on her finger to keep herself from howling out loud and disturbing the neighbors.
"Mmmmm… Sunsssssssset..."
She reared her head back and thruster her breasts into the air.
“Oh, Sunset… That's… That's so gooooooood…"
Sunset was enjoying herself too.
She had never been with a mare, but she imagined eating out a human girl was as close as she'd ever get, and she loved it.
With her arms wrapped around Twilight's legs, Sunset buried her face in Twilight's slit, drilling her tongue deep inside.
"You taste… sweet…"
Sunset laughed as she teased the folds with her tongue.
"Would you like a sample?"
Twilight finished unclipping her bra, and she tossed it towards her coat.
Her breasts were finally as naked as Sunset’s, and to her disappointment, they actually looked bigger than her own.
Sunset figured it must have been nature’s way of compensating for her nerdy habits.
Twilight notices Sunset’s intense stare, and she cupped the Equestrian’s cheeks in her hands.
"I thought you'd never ask…"
She pulled Sunset downward, forcing their lips together in the hottest way imaginable.
Sunset didn't make an effort to fight, and in kissing Twilight, she pushed her into the cushions of the chair.
Their naked breasts flattened together, and their legs crossed.
Twilight tried to remove her glasses, which were beginning to fly off, due to the intense kissing, but Sunset held them on.
"No… Leave ‘em on…"
She panted heavily, brushing a gentle hand against her cheek.
"You look really cute in those glasses… Plus, I want you to see me clearly...”
Twilight smiled up at Sunset before pulling her back down, resuming the heated kiss.
Their girlhoods grinded against one another, causing both girls to let out muffled cries as they kissed.
"Ah! S-S-Sunset! I… I think… Ah! I think I l-love… y-"
Sunset silenced Twilight with her lips before she could finish.
As the kiss broke and their lips parted, she managed a shy grin.
"I feel the same way…”
Twilight was far from satisfied with her response.
"Say it…"
Twilight arched her back as they continued to grind their slits together.
“Oh, Sunset… Please, say it…"
Sunset moaned loudly as she neared her peak.
There was nothing she could say but… the truth.
"Ah! Oh, Twilight... I love you, Twiliiiiight!"
Twilight and Sunset Shimmer both reached their peaks simultaneously, crying out as they came on each other.
Twilight cringed as she felt the mixture of their cum dripping down her legs.
Equally exhausted, Sunset collapsed onto Twilight.
Sunset feared for a second that she might pass out.
She had never experienced anything so powerful.
She looked up, into Twilight’s loving gaze, and they shared a sweet kiss.
"Whoa…"
Sunset groaned as she sat upright.
"That… was…"
Twilight couldn't stop herself from laughing out loud.
"It was hot…"
Sunset shook her head and chuckled.
"I was going to say 'amazing', but 'hot' works too. We should do this again some other time…”
Twilight sat up with Sunset still sitting on her lap.
"We can do this every. single. day…"
Sunset liked that idea.
She might have been presuming too much, but they must have made some sort of romantic agreement when they surrendered to each other.
Sunset looked as though she was deep in thought.
After several long moments of silence, she leaned forward, straddling Twilight.
“Hey, Twilight, can I ask you a question?”
Twilight had a dreamy look in her eyes as she poked playfully at Sunset’s breasts.
"Yeah?"
Sunset leaned in closely until her lips were a hot breath away from Twilight's, startling her.
"How would you like to have… a roommate?"
Twilight’s look turned more serious, and she pursed her lips.
Sunset noticed the change in her expression and began to ramble on.
"I just thought… You need help with the rent, and I really love you, and-"
Twilight raised a swift finger to Sunset’s lips, effectively cutting her off.
"Yes, Sunset, you can move in…”
Tears were building behind Sunset’s eyes.
The smile on her lips stretched from ear to ear, and she launched herself forward, kissing Twilight at such a high velocity that the chair toppled over, spilling both girls onto the floor, laughing and giggling.
The laughs and giggles were slowly replaced by moans and kisses, and...
Here we go again…
***The End***
