I will most likely be fixing them in the mid to long term future. BUT as for the later chapters. things have gotten better. like after chapter 3... or maybe 4. it gets better in grammar, story lore, exc ..... I guess. :"{) well anyway. October . 2016 . at 12:22 PM. **** The scenery around me was almost the same as any other day, the dull, bleak, and metallic grayish color that was the combine's most basic type of building material. as well the easiest to construct and obtain, ( to the combine's standers anyway. ) but with one exception added to my ordinary work day, I was in one of the two main towers of the citadel, I was doing a very important job. in which involved the leader of the combine earth forces. for anyone who does not know ( who doesn't. ) yes I am talking about Mr. Breen. but most Humans call him Dr. Breen mostly because he is not married. but still, they can't tell me what to think and not to think. mostly because they can't read Human thoughts. yes, not even mine. but to be fair, they may not be able to tell what Humans are thinking, but they are able to get rid of memories altho. and don't even get me started on the whole brainwashing thing. Anyway. My job is mostly to start the portal and keep it running. in addition to that, I am mostly alone in here, besides the 8 foot long, 5 feet tall, adviser hovering behind me. in order to keep an eye on me, other than that we were completely alone together. the Adviser itself was almost like any other Adviser, it had a pair of extendable, mechanical grippers, or robot hands as people like to call them. It was day 2376 or 6.509589 years of working at the citadel, the work day consisted of going to a random panel and making sure that the various devices and mechanisms are doing what they are intended to do, whether it be feeding nutrients to other stalkers, elites, soldiers, and so forth. or if it's used to monitor the automated machines that repair turrets and other things, such as vehicles and maybe headcrab canisters. as of late however, the stalker has been noticing that a lot of combine nexus's and combine outposts have been going dark. due to Dr. freeman and the rebels. Well lucky for him he wasn't a soldier, or even an elite, no he was a stalker. a more than averagely privileged stalker who does as he is told by his masters. he was a normal citizen before he was a stalker, as well was every single stalker before and after him. just like them, he was surgically made by the combine for simple tasks to do and in some cases, building stuff, like a Power Generator or even a nexus or as they are called by some, a Combine HQ. if need be that is. a stalker is to the combine as an engineer is to the rebels, that means we build stuff, and most of the time we are not appreciated for it, us stalkers and the rebel engineers that is, even if we are enemies we still have the same mutual understanding for one another, that next to no one cares about us. anyway. back to what I was doing. ah, yes I was checking to see if the Teleporter was ready for Dr.Breen to use, to escape the citadel that is. most stalkers are not allowed to use such important stuff as this, but all of the elites are busy trying to kill that freeman guy that I've have been hearing over the overwatch voice about lately. and so here I am, stuck with keeping an eye on the control panel that I am working on, I mostly just have to make sure that the portal is, well shall we say, the portal needs to be in the right spot, or else the portal will get out of control and well, you don't want to know what happens next. anyway, I need to get back to keeping an eye ou~............. Really...... now?............ no no, just seeing if this was a test or not.......... this is the real thing, isn't it......... Alright, I will start the singularity now then. well this is not good, I am getting word that I need to start up the portal. because that freeman guy is shooting some energy balls at the core. so I need to start the process of Teleporting Dr.Breen to, as the combine overlords call it, the safe zone. "hmmm well, this is interesting. there is a fluctuation with the portal as if there is something changing the course for it. " hmmm, well this is not good, it's changing course, and according to this, it's an unknown planet that is attracting the portal. "oh no no no no. this is not good, crap I NEED to fix this NOW!!." little did the stalker know that the portal was not being affected by the unknown world, but what was being affected by the anomaly was the air around him. at least for now. it was only convenient that his controls picked up the anomaly at all. ~ "work it harder, make it better, do it faster, makes us stronger, more than ever, hour after, our work is never over." ~ and that is what I'm thinking of when I'm hitting the buttons on this thing, it helps the time go by faster, and helps me forget that I am a walking piece of meat with a hook for a hand and legs. or in this case two hooks for hands. I was given two of them because I needed to work on this important job. one of the hooks will most likely be taken off after this is all over. even though that a man firing balls of pure death at the core the stalker still thinks that the combine will win the day, as they always do. but hey you can't blame a guy who has his brain ( very little ) and body ( all the way baby ) augmented to serve the combine in every way he can, mentally and physically that is. the stalker continued on hitting buttons , to an observer's point of view, completely random and semi-fast. but to the stalker, he knew exactly what he was doing. and he was doing it with pride, that was his own. With some luck, and his mentally enhanced brain for this specific job if it were to happen. He stabilized the portal. But yet little did he know that it had no effect on the anomaly, at all. Then ever thing went to shit. The first thing that happened was that the citadel started to explode. The second thing that happened was G-Man. The third thing was that a portal opened below the stalker, and him falling Thru. The fourth and last one was vortigaunts, and everything exploding. {2} A new life, A new master.the stalker fell to the ground with a thud. he fell over and hit his head on a ( not too sharp ) rock, forcing him to black out. the adviser looked to where the stalker was just a second ago, noticing that the stalker was gone and a hole was now in his place, the adviser quickly investigated. looking through the portal the adviser saw the stalker on the ground and unconscious, thanks to the implant in the stalkers head that allows a stalker ( and everyone else who has one ) to tell the difference between an adviser, a soldier or anything else, even rank. the adviser was quickly able to tell that the stalker was unconscious, and bleeding a little from the head. the adviser acted as fast as it could. and went through the small portal, just big enough for the adviser to fly through without a problem. the portal closed 3 seconds later. the adviser was hovering above the stalker. it was not too hard, even though they were in a very dense forest. the adviser could do nothing but protect the stalker from rebels or anything else at all cost, as this stalker was of high value to the combine, even if it was just a stalker. 42 minutes later. the stalker was starting to come back to reality, which was good for the adviser. as it was getting bored with nothing happening, besides a squirrel passing by, that was about 12 minutes ago. the stalker started to steer. the stalker then opened his eyes slowly "What the hell happened?." he thought. the stalker looked for the adviser that he could seance. he found it. the stalker then got up from his position on the ground. the stalker then sent a mental message to the adviser. the message said. " we need immediate assistance, any local autonomous units to provide medical and defense assistance." the adviser sent the stalker one message saying. 'negative.' the stalker then said back to the adviser. " and why not? " " there are none. I can't detect any. " " Any what, protection teams?. " " Anything at all, nothing. We are completely alone out here......... well, not completely. " " what do you mean by that?...... wait. " he felt something coming from a cave. the feeling was like the connection of a nexus to a stalker, or a stalker to a nexus but it felt different. and a little too weak for a nexus, or even another stalker, as well nexuses are not built underground. at least not to his knowledge. " Do you mean that? " " Yes, that is the only connection I have felt in the last 44 minutes, besides yours, and it's not even responding at all to my messages or even the mandatory sector assimilation. " " Very odd. " " Indeed. " " shud we investigate and see what type of autonomous unit it is. " " Yes, " they then proceeded to walk and fly to the cave. they arrived at the mouth of the cave, it was dark inside, and the connection was a bit stronger now. " .......... " " .....hmmm, as it seems the entrance of the cave is too small for you. " " yes. " " then I shall investigate, " " and I will keep guard. " the stalker then walked into the cave. the cave itself was like any ordinary cave, a few stalag tights hear, and a couple of stalag might's there. but the deeper the stalker went the more it became clear that this was no normal cave. For example, the cave walls, floor, and ceiling were all covered in an unknown exogen like covering. (exogen, the word means. Ant Lions, which are a bug-like species from half-life 2 ) it was a good 7 inches thick. " hmmm, nothing yet. " the stalker continued to walk through the cave, deeper and deeper he went. as the connection was getting stronger and stronger. he continued through the cave until he finally reached the end and found. "A door..... just a door." " A door, that means civilization, hopefully not the rebels." the door was not made of wood stone or iron, but instead, it was made out of pure Titanium. the stalker then walked up to the door. the stalker then tried to open the door, but it just made a creaking sound, the stalker pushed harder and sure enough, it opened. what the stalker saw inside was a pony bug looking thing, it was lying on what looked to be a Make shift throne of stone or some other material, SHE looked like she has black chitin like skin and a blue colored torso and a green over-shell of some kind. and a blueish hair color...or well mane color that is, and what look like some sort of a crown or maybe antenna on her head, and a long and crooked horn. She also had holes in her leg's, anyway, she was not looking too good, she was bleeding a little from a small puncture wound on her side. ( the blood was green. ) what punctured her side like that the stalker does not know. "well shit, I might as well help her, from what I can tell from that connection she seems to be giving off, she is an ally, and a higher ranking one at that. " the stalker thinks. the stalker then began to move towards her. she only looks at the stalker. and then she closes her eyes. "I think that she thinks I'm here to kill her or put her out of her misery most likely. well, not today. because even if she wanted to die right here and now, I must prevent that from happening, not just because she is a girl, but because she is a higher ranking one, my boss's will have my nonexistent ass if she dies, if they are alive that is." the stalker though. the stalker came up to her and picked her up. From what the stalker could tell she was not expecting that at all. ( She was not. ) her eyes seem to grow a bit, as if surprised that I was picking her up, well she should know that it is standard protocol that if there is no combine assistance in a 2-mile radius. the available units that are at the location of the incident 'in this case, haveing an injury.' will need to move the high valued individual to a more secure location. ok well, I need a plan, so I will have to find some scrap metal. and then build a "Power Generator" or two, then a few "Scrap Power Generators" I will then build a good 4 or 5 "Energy Cells" so I can save power. after that, I will build what I need for her at the moment, which is a "Regeneration Post." But first. I need to get her back to the adviser. {3} How did I not see them?.The stalker walked out of the cave to meet the adviser, and same as before the adviser was there, standing (Hovering) Guard above the cave entrance. The Stalker walked up the advisor and sent it a message. " I'm back, and I got some company. " " I can tell, I could Seance about 40 of them after you opened that door. The Advisor said. " Wait... What? " " Are you saying you did not Seance... or even see... The about 45 or more Creatures fallowing close behind you this whole time?. " the stalker looked behind him. somehow, in some way. I missed the, about 45 or 47 Creatures following us, they looked like the creature I was carrying, but smaller and they did not have the same type of connection like her. but they still did have a weaker one. some connations more powerful than others, others weaker than most. They were just as badly if not worse than her, a few had a broken foreleg or two, and various other things such as a missing eye. or their horns broke off or even some had their wings completely gone. ( mental note. I did not notes that she had wings before. ) and that was the most non-broken things. Mental side note. there appear's to be even smaller ones around the back and middle of the more adult looking creatures, they must me like the children, hmmm. upon closer inspection, there are also these SMALLER one's they seem to be the size of a golf ball, though that's just a size estimation. " apparently, not, I guess I was to focused on this one. " I said to the adviser. " but still, they have the connection as allies and so we should try and help them. " " hmm, " " what is it... " " I.... sense.. life forms... of human level intelligence, coming from the .... from what I can tell by the direction of the sun. it's Northwest of here. " the advisor said. " interesting, should we investigate it? " " it's our best chance of finding more assistants, so yes. " " ok then, I also think you should use one of your pre-recordings to let them know that we are moving out? and so it doses not seem like we are just standing here looking at each other, wich may look very strang to someone who dose not know about the implant. or even have one.. " " Good idea.... but." " But what? " " I don't have any pre-recordings that are of the fallow me, nature or other wise like that. but I do have one for sector sweeps... " ..... great, well it doesn't matter, let's just go." " .... " " .... so, we are going to the life forms? " " yes...." " ok." we went on in silence for a while, about a total of 23 minutes until we exited the forest that we were in, we all saw a village of some kind. I wanted to go and look around, but. I was still carrying the.....the . I don't know what she is or what her name is, so I will give her a rank, I will just call her as 'officer' for the time being. "what the hell why not, we shud not get in trouble if we TRY to keep quiet and unnoticed." " for what? do you want to look around so you can make even more friends? " " oh ha ha very funny, no, no I just wanted to look around and see if there are any humans there, but if we are lucky, CP's. " " why do I get the feeling that we won't have that luxury. " we began to walk ( and fly ) to the town. the other creatures stopping if only for a few seconds at best, they looked to hesitate to keep going, but continued to go on nonetheless. they kept walking to the town until. "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. look at all of this beautiful scrap metal !!!." he screamed inwardly. " Holy fucking shit, not so loud ass hole. " " SORRY!!! " they then walked over to the scrap metal pile. to which was to the left of the town that they were looking at when they came out of the forest. the scrap was about less than half a mile away from the town. "goody, the more scrap the more power." ".........." { ( -_- ) } they walked up to the scrap, to which were surrounded by a fence, the fence was in a circular, mild radius. the stalker found a sign next to the opening of the fence. the sign reads as such. " town dump. " he said to himself and the adviser. " ................. " ( why the fuck does this guy love scrap so much. ) the advisor thought. "..... really? a dump. this stuff is as valuable as diamonds to the combine. oh well, if they just want to throw away stuff as valuable as this then I'm not complaining." the Stalker figured that he should get that Regeneration Post up as soon as possible, so as to help all of his new found allies as well as the officer. he then proceeded to set the officer down on the ground. in response, she looked a little unsure. as well as a mix of confusion and upsetness for being put down, ( maybe she liked being held?. ) he thought. after that he walked up to the scrap, already knowing what to do. but all of a sudden. what looked like about 15 or 20 pony's came into view. that were wearing gold armor and were holding spears. they did not have a connection at all. so the stalker temporarily marked them as a possible threat. one of them spoke. " stop right there criminal scum!. "criminal scum? ok 1. I did nothing wrong. so I am definitely not a criminal. and 2. scum.....well ok I do admit that I am scum to the combine, and the combine just doesn't really care either way of what I think. but still, no need to say it." the Stalker thought to him self. but the guard wasn’t saying it to him, no. the guard was saying it to the officer. " ok well if we were back at the citadel, ( if it were still there ) he would most definitely be turned into a stalker for saying that to an officer, not the smart one's either, not like me, as rare as it is for a citizen to keep their humanity, sanity, and memories. I was able to keep my intelligence and memories, but even then my offense was really small, all I did was run in the street so I could get to the hospital to see my wife give birth. but no, they had to turn me into a stalker. (sigh). well I can't blame them, it was hard times for all, I get it that I bumped into that high-level combine squad leader, I can not tell you how lucky I was that SHE was very nice, in fact, the nicest combine leader I have ever meet, she forgave me and she kept insisting to her bosses that I should not be turned into a stalker, because it was an accident and that it was because I was in a hurry. but they did it anyway as for my punishment. but luckily she convinced them to let me keep my memories and all that, she even got them to let me see my wife before I was turned into a stalker. but sadly, she could not save my body. Her name was Gee Long. she was a combine leader of the helix's, the helix's are the combine medics. but yet she almost always carried a combine turret with her, she always called HER daisy or was it Lilly... ya it was definitely Lilly. I think she really wanted to be a Grid, or something like that. She had a thing for the combines technology. " he said to himself. ( Grids are the engineers for the combine. ) anyway. I need to step in if things go too south. they seem to not care that we ( we being the advisor and the stalker ) were here at all, and were only paying attention to our allies and mostly the officer. she was still lying on the ground, she only looked at them, and then me. she must have been thinking as if I brought her here on purpose to get her arrested. at least if they are the law enforcements for that town over there. well, what should I do? and what did she do to get all this attention? " advisor... advise? " the stalker asked the advisor. the advisor said to the stalker " we just need to watch and wait, atlest for now." " copy " {4} dammit Leeroythey were surrounded by the pony's. except for a good sized gap in their formation, I could easily slip by, if needed, and the adviser could just fly over them. for the first time since I met her, she finally spoke. " why can't you pony's just leave me alone. " " oh, maybe because you invaded our capital city or something..... " the stalker then thought. "well crap, I guess we are at war then". "ONLY BECAUSE I HAD TO!!". she yelled. one random guard then said. " there is no excuse for war. " the guard's leader said. queen chrysalis you and your "children" are charged with murder, war crimes, trespassing on equestrian land. and more. you have the right to remain silent. at this point I was full of mixed feelings of what just happened in front of me. ok, well at least I know her name now. also note to self, if she is a queen..... does that make her the new Dr.Breen ?. well shit, I guess she is a higher rank than I first thought. I can't just stand here and let them take the new leader of the combine away. I need to do something, but what?. I then remembered that I can shoot "fricken laser beams" from my eyes. its been a while since I used it. I saw something that surprised me. her horn started to glow. as well as all of the ponys that had horns. the glowing horns must be a sign that they are ready for battle. "don't even try it." one of them said. she looked them over, most likely for any weaknesses. then looked at me. she looked like she was thinking, and considering what to do. so at this point I thought, fuck it, and so I ( not literally ) screamed out. Leeroy Jenkins!!!! I then proceeded to charge up my laser and then. ( BOOM headshot ) for the first time since they got here, they looked at me. very stunned, and some of them scared. all I did was shoot in between them so that they get my gesture to back off. I then grown a little, they seem to flinch at this. a random guard says. "what is this, one of your tricks!!" she answers calmly with. " I don't know what these things are, all I know is that it found the cave I was living in. and then it brought me here, and here we all are." "likely story". "ok buster, you're under arrest for attempted battery." I make a louder grown at this. "ahhh. is that a yes. you will surrender peacefully ?." I shake my head in the left to right motion, which is implying that I am saying no. "and why not?". I only grown again and then move towards the queen. none of them tried to stop me in the process to get to her. I get right next to her, and then face them, and then grown a bit, and this time, point a bit at her. and make a little terror-inducing growl. they seem a little confused, and a bit disturbed at the same time. I then look at her, who was looking at me and then she said. "what do you want with me". I only grown and then point at the pile of metal. she and some of the guard's look at the pile of metal. "I don't know what you want me to do. I only make a gesture for her to follow me. "ok, fine lead the way." " hold up right there, you still have to~" was all he got to say before I made a shriek of pure horror, stopping him mid sentence. "ahhh, I think he doesn't like that idea, sir. a random and young looking guard say's to "HER" leader. she has a white coat a golden mane, she also has wings, so she is a pegasus, I noted. " fair point. ok, you can go. but not too far, and we are going with you. " we did not go very far, at all, at the very least it was about 7 feet that we moved. the queen was next to me. well now what?. she asked. I was in a proper position to build the buildings that I needed, for her to heal as well. so the first step is to build a power generator, then 1 or 2 Energy Cells, about 1 scrap powered generator, then finally build the Regeneration Post. ok, let's do this. {5} How to help a new friend in need.I was just about to start building the stuff that we will need, when all of a sudden. " RRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRR " 'oh for the love of everything, now what?!.' the stalker thought. 'OH MY CELESTIA!! WHAT WAS THAT!!.' one of the guards yelled. 'it sounded like a manticore to me.' the officer of the pony's said. 'Well then I say that we get the hay out of here then.' another says. 'negative, stand your ground, that's an order.' "but sir!" ' no buts, you got that private!.' 'Yes sir...' the "private" looked down caste, almost sad. 'poor guy.' the stalker thought. 'maybe if, in some way, in the future, just maybe, I will make it up to that guy, I mean, not even the combine drill sergeants are as mean as that guy, oh well.' *** :mini author's note: ok just to let you all know I will be doing a name tag thing above all the sentences from now on, so now you all can enjoy that small luxury. *** :Random Guard.: 'so, what are we going to do?, are we just going to stand here and become food for that thing or what?.' :officer: 'most likely we are, yes.' at hearing this all jaws dropped to the ground, even the queen and the smaller creatures had their jaws almost hitting the ground, except for the stalker and adviser. :stalker: 'ok, what the hell is wrong with this guy?.' :younger Guard: not the "private" by the way. 'ARE YOU INSANE!' :officer: no, but I did miss the mental evaluation two weeks ago, but I feel as I did when I joined the guard, so yeah everything is normal for the most part. :young Guard: :oh my freaking Celestia, who in Tartarus let this guy be a guard in the first place. she whispers to herself. only the most closest heard her which were 5 "life forms" in total. one being the stalker, the other being the queen, the 3 others are the private, and one random guard and one of the smaller creatures. after hearing that, everyone who 'can' speak said. 'you got that right.' :officer: 'hey, what are you all talking about over there.' they all said. "nothing!' :officer: 'and you better keep it that way.' after that, some rustling can be heard in some nearby bushes. Every 'life form' goes quiet. :Random guard: 'ahhh, sir what do we do?' :Officer: 'nothing' :Every life form / except stalker and the officer: WHAT!! at that, the rustling became louder. :Random guard: Sir, we can't just do nothing!. :officer: yes, we can. in fact, don't even breathe, at all. :same random guard: aaaaaaahhhhhhhHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!. after that yell. the rustling in the bushes stopped. every " Lifeform / except for the stalker and the officer. held their breath. then after the 3 seconds of waiting, the coolest and most awesomest thing that the stalker has ever seen in his entire life, jumped out from the bushes. it looked like it had the head of a lion and the tail of a scorpion, it also had wings of a bat. if a bat was 6 times bigger than normal that is. the beast leaped at the closest living thing which was the white pegasus with the golden "mane". it was on top of her in less than a second, almost all " life form's " gasped. ( not the pony officer, stalker or advisor, ) the beast was about to take a bite out of that pony win I decided to intervein. I made a fear-inducing screech that made the blood of all "in a 1-mile radius." run cold. I charged my laser. the beast roared the mightiest roar I have ever heard in my entire life. after that, I fired my laser next to him. what happened next made me do a double take, there was a cloud of smoke where the "manticore" was, so that meant 2 things. 1 it was running away, and 2 that thing can run faster than a hunter..... let that sink in for a minute....it runs faster than a hunter...... at top speed... Gahhhh, Great. just Fucking Great. oh well, that's just life for you. I then face the mare who got attacked, she faced me. we looked at each other for a while until she finally spoke. : unknown mare: Th-Thank you, for saving my life. I only nod in responses. I then walk over to the, more or less new queen of the combine. I then make a gesture for her to follow me again. she complies and follows, mostly everyone was still in shock of what just happened, so they pay us no mind. I then finally start to make the first building that we will need, which is the power generator. at the sound of my laser turning on, all eyes fell on me, or more accurately the structure I was making. : 22 seconds later... : I just need to add the final TouchesssSSS AANNNNNDDDDD DONE!!. the structure was completed and as sleek as ever. ok, now for the next step. : 2 and a half minutes later. : ok great, I got the generator's up, I got a good 3 scrap powered generators up, and I am about to set up the Regeneration Post. :Random Guard: Ahhhh... what is all this for?, and also how did you build it. I only grown a little. I then walk 4 feet over to the queen, I then get her attention, after that I point at her followers, I then make a gesture for her to have them come here. to which she complies with, she then says. HEY!, HALF OF YOU, Get over here. Some of them started to move Towards us. As they are coming over to us I started to build the Regeneration Post. it took them a good 30 seconds to get over to us. and about 15 or so for me to finish the building. when they all got over to me I pointed at the "Regen Post" and made a motion for them to walk up to it. they complied if just a little cautious at first. less than half of the half that walked over here actually walked up to the "Regen Post" ( A Total of 12. ) after they were next to the Regen Post I proceeded to turn it on via mental connection. and then after it was turned on. it did Absolutely nothing.... " the fuck?" the stalker thought. The stalker then makes and audible sad grown. and then walk's over to the Regen Post. a long and almost invisible, colorless beam extended out towards the stalker. the Regen Post started to heal his head injury. {that was still there the whole time...... just saying, if you forgot about it. } " ok.... this is weird. it shud work for them, oh well. I'll just reprogram it so it can be bound to their active signature imprints. But first... " " I need some DNA. " The Stalker then looked at the Queen then he proceeded to make a motion for her to stay still. " what? you want me to stay still?. " I only nod my head. "......" the stalker then proceeds to walk off to the left behind her. " ahh. what are yo- OWW! HEY, WATCH WHERE YOU STICK THAT THING!. " " Ahhrreeemmmrrreee " ( ???? ) the stalker said. the stalker then walked over to the Regen Post, he then proceeded to stick out his 'hook' ( with the blood on it. ) out to the Regen post. at first, nothing happened. but that changed after he sent a mental command to the Regen Post. a small square like hole opens up for it, and a small slab extends out to the stalker. the stalker then puts the blood on the slab. and it quickly diapers back into the depths of the machine. for about 4 seconds it made a varying number of sounds. after that, a colorless beam shot out from it and started to heal the other creatures. : unknown creature'. : WOW, how did you do that? ( if he had emotions that is. ) " As it seems that just before we went throw the portal, the core was unstable, and the SSU here automatically downloaded the latest of the blueprints for the construction of the HQ, and because of that, Well you see, the thing is, Ummm " " where all gonna die. " The unit use's his unoccupied hand to take his stun stick and turn it on for about 4 seconds, then turned it off after showing the other unit. " we are most likely going to start building an HQ first, then build a barracks, so that we can start to gather some Planit side military forces. Then establish a new city, which will most likely and most obviously be called city 1. or 01, depending on how you would say it. anyway, after we have established the city we will need to have some citizen's, most likely the queen's subjects outside, and maybe whatever your species is, then after that, we will have to setup all the stuff for the citizen's, namely Ration's, housing, security, and more. " the advisor finishes the last part of their plans. " that is unless you have any objections to our plans, as this planet's representative, you have the authority to start and stop all combine operations here on this planet. oh, and that reminds me, what is this planet's name? " the advisor finishes while looking at his new Queen and leader. " sounds good to me. " His queen says. " wait, what." Celestia says with a bit of fear in her voice. " what do you mean she is our planets representative, and since when. " " oh sorry, as it seems I have forgotten to mention that part, yes, she is the representative for your whole planet, but as it seems there are more than one species on this planet, so you may have a representative for your species then, that is unless if our queen here does not allow that. I will most likely be fixing them in the mid to long term future. October . 2016 . at 12:22 PM. **** The scenery around me was almost the same as any other day, the dull, bleak, and metallic grayish color that was the combine's most basic type of building material. as well the easiest to construct and obtain, ( to the combine's standers anyway. ) but with one exception added to my ordinary work day, I was in one of the two main towers of the citadel, I was doing a very important job. in which involved the leader of the combine earth forces. for anyone who does not know ( who doesn't. ) yes I am talking about Mr. Breen. but most Humans call him Dr. Breen mostly because he is not married. but still, they can't tell me what to think and not to think. mostly because they can't read Human thoughts. yes, not even mine. but to be fair, they may not be able to tell what Humans are thinking, but they are able to get rid of memories altho. and don't even get me started on the whole brainwashing thing. Anyway. My job is mostly to start the portal and keep it running. in addition to that, I am mostly alone in here, besides the 8 foot long, 5 feet tall, adviser hovering behind me. in order to keep an eye on me, other than that we were completely alone together. the Adviser itself was almost like any other Adviser, it had a pair of extendable, mechanical grippers, or robot hands as people like to call them. Well lucky for him he wasn't a soldier, or even an elite, no he was a stalker. a more than averagely privileged stalker who does as he is told by his masters. he was a normal citizen before he was a stalker, as well was every single stalker before and after him. just like them, he was surgically made by the combine for simple tasks to do and in some cases, building stuff, like a Power Generator or even a nexus or as they are called by some, a Combine HQ. if need be that is. a stalker is to the combine as an engineer is to the rebels, that means we build stuff, and most of the time we are not appreciated for it, us stalkers and the rebel engineers that is, even if we are enemies we still have the same mutual understanding for one another, that next to no one cares about us. anyway. back to what I was doing. ah, yes I was checking to see if the Teleporter was ready for Dr.Breen to use, to escape the citadel that is. most stalkers are not allowed to use such important stuff as this, but all of the elites are busy trying to kill that freeman guy that I've have been hearing over the overwatch voice about lately. and so here I am, stuck with keeping an eye on the control panel that I am working on, I mostly just have to make sure that the portal is, well shall we say, the portal needs to be in the right spot, or else the portal will get out of control and well, you don't want to know what happens next. anyway, I need to get back to keeping an eye ou~............. Really...... now?............ no no, just seeing if this was a test or not.......... this is the real thing, isn't it......... Alright, I will start the singularity now then. well this is not good, I am getting word that I need to start up the portal. because that freeman guy is shooting some energy balls at the core. so I need to start the process of Teleporting Dr.Breen to, as the combine overlords call it, the safe zone. "hmmm well, this is interesting. there is a fluctuation with the portal as if there is something changing the course for it. " hmmm, well this is not good, it's changing course, and according to this, it's an unknown planet that is attracting the portal. "oh no no no no. this is not good, crap I NEED to fix this NOW!!." little did the stalker know that the portal was not being affected by the unknown world, but what was being affected by the anomaly was the air around him. at least for now. it was only convenient that his controls picked up the anomaly at all. ~ "work it harder, make it better, do it faster, makes us stronger, more than ever, hour after, our work is never over." ~ and that is what I'm thinking of when I'm hitting the buttons on this thing, it helps the time go by faster, and helps me forget that I am a walking piece of meat with a hook for a hand and legs. or in this case two hooks for hands. I was given two of them because I needed to work on this important job. one of the hooks will most likely be taken off after this is all over. even though that a man firing balls of pure death at the core the stalker still thinks that the combine will win the day, as they always do. but hey you can't blame a guy who has his brain ( very little ) and body ( all the way baby ) augmented to serve the combine in every way he can, mentally and physically that is. the stalker continued on hitting buttons , to an observer's point of view, completely random and semi-fast. but to the stalker, he knew exactly what he was doing. and he was doing it with pride, that was his own. With some luck, and his mentally enhanced brain for this specific job if it were to happen. He stabilized the portal. But yet little did he know that it had no effect on the anomaly, at all. Then ever thing went to shit. The first thing that happened was that the citadel started to explode. The second thing that happened was G-Man. The third thing was that a portal opened below the stalker, and him falling Thru. The fourth and last one was vortigaunts, and everything exploding.
{2} A new life, A new master.the stalker fell to the ground with a thud. he fell over and hit his head on a ( not too sharp ) rock, forcing him to black out. the adviser looked to where the stalker was just a second ago, noticing that the stalker was gone and a hole was now in his place, the adviser quickly investigated. looking through the portal the adviser saw the stalker on the ground and unconscious, thanks to the implant in the stalkers head that allows a stalker ( and everyone else who has one ) to tell the difference between an adviser, a soldier or anything else, even rank. the adviser was quickly able to tell that the stalker was unconscious, and bleeding a little from the head. the adviser acted as fast as it could. and went through the small portal, just big enough for the adviser to fly through without a problem. the portal closed 3 seconds later. the adviser was hovering above the stalker. it was not too hard, even though they were in a very dense forest. the adviser could do nothing but protect the stalker from rebels or anything else at all cost, as this stalker was of high value to the combine, even if it was just a stalker. 42 minutes later. the stalker was starting to come back to reality, which was good for the adviser. as it was getting bored with nothing happening, besides a squirrel passing by, that was about 12 minutes ago. the stalker started to steer. the stalker then opened his eyes slowly "What the hell happened?." he thought. the stalker looked for the adviser that he could seance. he found it. the stalker then got up from his position on the ground. the stalker then sent a mental message to the adviser. the message said. " we need immediate assistance, any local autonomous units to provide medical and defense assistance." the adviser sent the stalker one message saying. 'negative.' the stalker then said back to the adviser. " and why not? " " there are none. I can't detect any. " " Any what, protection teams?. " " Anything at all, nothing. We are completely alone out here......... well, not completely. " " what do you mean by that?...... wait. " he felt something coming from a cave. the feeling was like the connection of a nexus to a stalker, or a stalker to a nexus but it felt different. and a little too weak for a nexus, or even another stalker, as well nexuses are not built underground. at least not to his knowledge. " Do you mean that? " " Yes, that is the only connection I have felt in the last 44 minutes, besides yours, and it's not even responding at all to my messages or even the mandatory sector assimilation. " " Very odd. " " Indeed. " " shud we investigate and see what type of autonomous unit it is. " " Yes, " they then proceeded to walk and fly to the cave. they arrived at the mouth of the cave, it was dark inside, and the connection was a bit stronger now. " .......... " " .....hmmm, as it seems the entrance of the cave is too small for you. " " yes. " " then I shall investigate, " " and I will keep guard. " the stalker then walked into the cave. the cave itself was like any ordinary cave, a few stalag tights hear, and a couple of stalag might's there. but the deeper the stalker went the more it became clear that this was no normal cave. For example, the cave walls, floor, and ceiling were all covered in an unknown exogen like covering. (exogen, the word means. Ant Lions, which are a bug-like species from half-life 2 ) it was a good 7 inches thick. " hmmm, nothing yet. " the stalker continued to walk through the cave, deeper and deeper he went. as the connection was getting stronger and stronger. he continued through the cave until he finally reached the end and found. "A door..... just a door." " A door, that means civilization, hopefully not the rebels." the door was not made of wood stone or iron, but instead, it was made out of pure Titanium. the stalker then walked up to the door. the stalker then tried to open the door, but it just made a creaking sound, the stalker pushed harder and sure enough, it opened. what the stalker saw inside was a pony bug looking thing, it was lying on what looked to be a Make shift throne of stone or some other material, SHE looked like she has black chitin like skin and a blue colored torso and a green over-shell of some kind. and a blueish hair color...or well mane color that is, and what look like some sort of a crown or maybe antenna on her head, and a long and crooked horn. She also had holes in her leg's, anyway, she was not looking too good, she was bleeding a little from a small puncture wound on her side. ( the blood was green. ) what punctured her side like that the stalker does not know. "well shit, I might as well help her, from what I can tell from that connection she seems to be giving off, she is an ally, and a higher ranking one at that. " the stalker thinks. the stalker then began to move towards her. she only looks at the stalker. and then she closes her eyes. "I think that she thinks I'm here to kill her or put her out of her misery most likely. well, not today. because even if she wanted to die right here and now, I must prevent that from happening, not just because she is a girl, but because she is a higher ranking one, my boss's will have my nonexistent ass if she dies, if they are alive that is." the stalker though. the stalker came up to her and picked her up. From what the stalker could tell she was not expecting that at all. ( She was not. ) her eyes seem to grow a bit, as if surprised that I was picking her up, well she should know that it is standard protocol that if there is no combine assistance in a 2-mile radius. the available units that are at the location of the incident 'in this case, haveing an injury.' will need to move the high valued individual to a more secure location. ok well, I need a plan, so I will have to find some scrap metal. and then build a "Power Generator" or two, then a few "Scrap Power Generators" I will then build a good 4 or 5 "Energy Cells" so I can save power. after that, I will build what I need for her at the moment, which is a "Regeneration Post." But first. I need to get her back to the adviser.
{3} How did I not see them?.The stalker walked out of the cave to meet the adviser, and same as before the adviser was there, standing (Hovering) Guard above the cave entrance. The Stalker walked up the advisor and sent it a message. " I'm back, and I got some company. " " I can tell, I could Seance about 40 of them after you opened that door. The Advisor said. " Wait... What? " " Are you saying you did not Seance... or even see... The about 45 or more Creatures fallowing close behind you this whole time?. " the stalker looked behind him. somehow, in some way. I missed the, about 45 or 47 Creatures following us, they looked like the creature I was carrying, but smaller and they did not have the same type of connection like her. but they still did have a weaker one. some connations more powerful than others, others weaker than most. They were just as badly if not worse than her, a few had a broken foreleg or two, and various other things such as a missing eye. or their horns broke off or even some had their wings completely gone. ( mental note. I did not notes that she had wings before. ) and that was the most non-broken things. Mental side note. there appear's to be even smaller ones around the back and middle of the more adult looking creatures, they must me like the children, hmmm. upon closer inspection, there are also these SMALLER one's they seem to be the size of a golf ball, though that's just a size estimation. " apparently, not, I guess I was to focused on this one. " I said to the adviser. " but still, they have the connection as allies and so we should try and help them. " " hmm, " " what is it... " " I.... sense.. life forms... of human level intelligence, coming from the .... from what I can tell by the direction of the sun. it's Northwest of here. " the advisor said. " interesting, should we investigate it? " " it's our best chance of finding more assistants, so yes. " " ok then, I also think you should use one of your pre-recordings to let them know that we are moving out? and so it doses not seem like we are just standing here looking at each other, wich may look very strang to someone who dose not know about the implant. or even have one.. " " Good idea.... but." " But what? " " I don't have any pre-recordings that are of the fallow me, nature or other wise like that. but I do have one for sector sweeps... " ..... great, well it doesn't matter, let's just go." " .... " " .... so, we are going to the life forms? " " yes...." " ok." we went on in silence for a while, about a total of 23 minutes until we exited the forest that we were in, we all saw a village of some kind. I wanted to go and look around, but. I was still carrying the.....the . I don't know what she is or what her name is, so I will give her a rank, I will just call her as 'officer' for the time being. "what the hell why not, we shud not get in trouble if we TRY to keep quiet and unnoticed." " for what? do you want to look around so you can make even more friends? " " oh ha ha very funny, no, no I just wanted to look around and see if there are any humans there, but if we are lucky, CP's. " " why do I get the feeling that we won't have that luxury. " we began to walk ( and fly ) to the town. the other creatures stopping if only for a few seconds at best, they looked to hesitate to keep going, but continued to go on nonetheless. they kept walking to the town until. "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. look at all of this beautiful scrap metal !!!." he screamed inwardly. " Holy fucking shit, not so loud ass hole. " " SORRY!!! " they then walked over to the scrap metal pile. to which was to the left of the town that they were looking at when they came out of the forest. the scrap was about less than half a mile away from the town. "goody, the more scrap the more power." ".........." { ( -_- ) } they walked up to the scrap, to which were surrounded by a fence, the fence was in a circular, mild radius. the stalker found a sign next to the opening of the fence. the sign reads as such. " town dump. " he said to himself and the adviser. " ................. " ( why the fuck does this guy love scrap so much. ) the advisor thought. "..... really? a dump. this stuff is as valuable as diamonds to the combine. oh well, if they just want to throw away stuff as valuable as this then I'm not complaining." the Stalker figured that he should get that Regeneration Post up as soon as possible, so as to help all of his new found allies as well as the officer. he then proceeded to set the officer down on the ground. in response, she looked a little unsure. as well as a mix of confusion and upsetness for being put down, ( maybe she liked being held?. ) he thought. after that he walked up to the scrap, already knowing what to do. but all of a sudden. what looked like about 15 or 20 pony's came into view. that were wearing gold armor and were holding spears. they did not have a connection at all. so the stalker temporarily marked them as a possible threat. one of them spoke. " stop right there criminal scum!. "criminal scum? ok 1. I did nothing wrong. so I am definitely not a criminal. and 2. scum.....well ok I do admit that I am scum to the combine, and the combine just doesn't really care either way of what I think. but still, no need to say it." the Stalker thought to him self. but the guard wasn’t saying it to him, no. the guard was saying it to the officer. " ok well if we were back at the citadel, ( if it were still there ) he would most definitely be turned into a stalker for saying that to an officer, not the smart one's either, not like me, as rare as it is for a citizen to keep their humanity, sanity, and memories. I was able to keep my intelligence and memories, but even then my offense was really small, all I did was run in the street so I could get to the hospital to see my wife give birth. but no, they had to turn me into a stalker. (sigh). well I can't blame them, it was hard times for all, I get it that I bumped into that high-level combine squad leader, I can not tell you how lucky I was that SHE was very nice, in fact, the nicest combine leader I have ever meet, she forgave me and she kept insisting to her bosses that I should not be turned into a stalker, because it was an accident and that it was because I was in a hurry. but they did it anyway as for my punishment. but luckily she convinced them to let me keep my memories and all that, she even got them to let me see my wife before I was turned into a stalker. but sadly, she could not save my body. Her name was Gee Long. she was a combine leader of the helix's, the helix's are the combine medics. but yet she almost always carried a combine turret with her, she always called HER daisy or was it Lilly... ya it was definitely Lilly. I think she really wanted to be a Grid, or something like that. She had a thing for the combines technology. " he said to himself. ( Grids are the engineers for the combine. ) anyway. I need to step in if things go too south. they seem to not care that we ( we being the advisor and the stalker ) were here at all, and were only paying attention to our allies and mostly the officer. she was still lying on the ground, she only looked at them, and then me. she must have been thinking as if I brought her here on purpose to get her arrested. at least if they are the law enforcements for that town over there. well, what should I do? and what did she do to get all this attention? " advisor... advise? " the stalker asked the advisor. the advisor said to the stalker " we just need to watch and wait, atlest for now." " copy "
{4} dammit Leeroythey were surrounded by the pony's. except for a good sized gap in their formation, I could easily slip by, if needed, and the adviser could just fly over them. for the first time since I met her, she finally spoke. " why can't you pony's just leave me alone. " " oh, maybe because you invaded our capital city or something..... " the stalker then thought. "well crap, I guess we are at war then". "ONLY BECAUSE I HAD TO!!". she yelled. one random guard then said. " there is no excuse for war. " the guard's leader said. queen chrysalis you and your "children" are charged with murder, war crimes, trespassing on equestrian land. and more. you have the right to remain silent. at this point I was full of mixed feelings of what just happened in front of me. ok, well at least I know her name now. also note to self, if she is a queen..... does that make her the new Dr.Breen ?. well shit, I guess she is a higher rank than I first thought. I can't just stand here and let them take the new leader of the combine away. I need to do something, but what?. I then remembered that I can shoot "fricken laser beams" from my eyes. its been a while since I used it. I saw something that surprised me. her horn started to glow. as well as all of the ponys that had horns. the glowing horns must be a sign that they are ready for battle. "don't even try it." one of them said. she looked them over, most likely for any weaknesses. then looked at me. she looked like she was thinking, and considering what to do. so at this point I thought, fuck it, and so I ( not literally ) screamed out. Leeroy Jenkins!!!! I then proceeded to charge up my laser and then. ( BOOM headshot ) for the first time since they got here, they looked at me. very stunned, and some of them scared. all I did was shoot in between them so that they get my gesture to back off. I then grown a little, they seem to flinch at this. a random guard says. "what is this, one of your tricks!!" she answers calmly with. " I don't know what these things are, all I know is that it found the cave I was living in. and then it brought me here, and here we all are." "likely story". "ok buster, you're under arrest for attempted battery." I make a louder grown at this. "ahhh. is that a yes. you will surrender peacefully ?." I shake my head in the left to right motion, which is implying that I am saying no. "and why not?". I only grown again and then move towards the queen. none of them tried to stop me in the process to get to her. I get right next to her, and then face them, and then grown a bit, and this time, point a bit at her. and make a little terror-inducing growl. they seem a little confused, and a bit disturbed at the same time. I then look at her, who was looking at me and then she said. "what do you want with me". I only grown and then point at the pile of metal. she and some of the guard's look at the pile of metal. "I don't know what you want me to do. I only make a gesture for her to follow me. "ok, fine lead the way." " hold up right there, you still have to~" was all he got to say before I made a shriek of pure horror, stopping him mid sentence. "ahhh, I think he doesn't like that idea, sir. a random and young looking guard say's to "HER" leader. she has a white coat a golden mane, she also has wings, so she is a pegasus, I noted. " fair point. ok, you can go. but not too far, and we are going with you. " we did not go very far, at all, at the very least it was about 7 feet that we moved. the queen was next to me. well now what?. she asked. I was in a proper position to build the buildings that I needed, for her to heal as well. so the first step is to build a power generator, then 1 or 2 Energy Cells, about 1 scrap powered generator, then finally build the Regeneration Post. ok, let's do this.
{5} How to help a new friend in need.I was just about to start building the stuff that we will need, when all of a sudden. " RRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRR " 'oh for the love of everything, now what?!.' the stalker thought. 'OH MY CELESTIA!! WHAT WAS THAT!!.' one of the guards yelled. 'it sounded like a manticore to me.' the officer of the pony's said. 'Well then I say that we get the hay out of here then.' another says. 'negative, stand your ground, that's an order.' "but sir!" ' no buts, you got that private!.' 'Yes sir...' the "private" looked down caste, almost sad. 'poor guy.' the stalker thought. 'maybe if, in some way, in the future, just maybe, I will make it up to that guy, I mean, not even the combine drill sergeants are as mean as that guy, oh well.' *** :mini author's note: ok just to let you all know I will be doing a name tag thing above all the sentences from now on, so now you all can enjoy that small luxury. *** :Random Guard.: 'so, what are we going to do?, are we just going to stand here and become food for that thing or what?.' :officer: 'most likely we are, yes.' at hearing this all jaws dropped to the ground, even the queen and the smaller creatures had their jaws almost hitting the ground, except for the stalker and adviser. :stalker: 'ok, what the hell is wrong with this guy?.' :younger Guard: not the "private" by the way. 'ARE YOU INSANE!' :officer: no, but I did miss the mental evaluation two weeks ago, but I feel as I did when I joined the guard, so yeah everything is normal for the most part. :young Guard: :oh my freaking Celestia, who in Tartarus let this guy be a guard in the first place. she whispers to herself. only the most closest heard her which were 5 "life forms" in total. one being the stalker, the other being the queen, the 3 others are the private, and one random guard and one of the smaller creatures. after hearing that, everyone who 'can' speak said. 'you got that right.' :officer: 'hey, what are you all talking about over there.' they all said. "nothing!' :officer: 'and you better keep it that way.' after that, some rustling can be heard in some nearby bushes. Every 'life form' goes quiet. :Random guard: 'ahhh, sir what do we do?' :Officer: 'nothing' :Every life form / except stalker and the officer: WHAT!! at that, the rustling became louder. :Random guard: Sir, we can't just do nothing!. :officer: yes, we can. in fact, don't even breathe, at all. :same random guard: aaaaaaahhhhhhhHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!. after that yell. the rustling in the bushes stopped. every " Lifeform / except for the stalker and the officer. held their breath. then after the 3 seconds of waiting, the coolest and most awesomest thing that the stalker has ever seen in his entire life, jumped out from the bushes. it looked like it had the head of a lion and the tail of a scorpion, it also had wings of a bat. if a bat was 6 times bigger than normal that is. the beast leaped at the closest living thing which was the white pegasus with the golden "mane". it was on top of her in less than a second, almost all " life form's " gasped. ( not the pony officer, stalker or advisor, ) the beast was about to take a bite out of that pony win I decided to intervein. I made a fear-inducing screech that made the blood of all "in a 1-mile radius." run cold. I charged my laser. the beast roared the mightiest roar I have ever heard in my entire life. after that, I fired my laser next to him. what happened next made me do a double take, there was a cloud of smoke where the "manticore" was, so that meant 2 things. 1 it was running away, and 2 that thing can run faster than a hunter..... let that sink in for a minute....it runs faster than a hunter...... at top speed... Gahhhh, Great. just Fucking Great. oh well, that's just life for you. I then face the mare who got attacked, she faced me. we looked at each other for a while until she finally spoke. : unknown mare: Th-Thank you, for saving my life. I only nod in responses. I then walk over to the, more or less new queen of the combine. I then make a gesture for her to follow me again. she complies and follows, mostly everyone was still in shock of what just happened, so they pay us no mind. I then finally start to make the first building that we will need, which is the power generator. at the sound of my laser turning on, all eyes fell on me, or more accurately the structure I was making. : 22 seconds later... : I just need to add the final TouchesssSSS AANNNNNDDDDD DONE!!. the structure was completed and as sleek as ever. ok, now for the next step. : 2 and a half minutes later. : ok great, I got the generator's up, I got a good 3 scrap powered generators up, and I am about to set up the Regeneration Post. :Random Guard: Ahhhh... what is all this for?, and also how did you build it. I only grown a little. I then walk 4 feet over to the queen, I then get her attention, after that I point at her followers, I then make a gesture for her to have them come here. to which she complies with, she then says. HEY!, HALF OF YOU, Get over here. Some of them started to move Towards us. As they are coming over to us I started to build the Regeneration Post. it took them a good 30 seconds to get over to us. and about 15 or so for me to finish the building. when they all got over to me I pointed at the "Regen Post" and made a motion for them to walk up to it. they complied if just a little cautious at first. less than half of the half that walked over here actually walked up to the "Regen Post" ( A Total of 12. ) after they were next to the Regen Post I proceeded to turn it on via mental connection. and then after it was turned on. it did Absolutely nothing.... " the fuck?" the stalker thought. The stalker then makes and audible sad grown. and then walk's over to the Regen Post. a long and almost invisible, colorless beam extended out towards the stalker. the Regen Post started to heal his head injury. {that was still there the whole time...... just saying, if you forgot about it. } " ok.... this is weird. it shud work for them, oh well. I'll just reprogram it so it can be bound to their active signature imprints. But first... " " I need some DNA. " The Stalker then looked at the Queen then he proceeded to make a motion for her to stay still. " what? you want me to stay still?. " I only nod my head. "......" the stalker then proceeds to walk off to the left behind her. " ahh. what are yo- OWW! HEY, WATCH WHERE YOU STICK THAT THING!. " the stalker gently took the slightly blood stained ( hook for a hand. ) out of the puncture wound on her side. the stalker then made a grone that almost seemed to sound like the word. ( SORRRYYYYYY!!! . ) " hmppfff, ..... I forgive you. " " Ahhrreeemmmrrreee " ( ???? ) the stalker said. the stalker then walked over to the Regen Post, he then proceeded to stick out his 'hook' ( with the blood on it. ) out to the Regen post. at first, nothing happened. but that changed after he sent a mental command to the Regen Post. a small square like hole opens up for it, and a small slab extends out to the stalker. the stalker then puts the blood on the slab. and it quickly diapers back into the depths of the machine. for about 4 seconds it made a varying number of sounds. after that, a colorless beam shot out from it and started to heal the other creatures. : unknown creature'. : WOW, how did you do that? " I don't even feel any more pain, in fact. it feels like its...... healing me. " "( Loud Gasp ) OH, MY QUEEN!! I CAN SEE AGAIN! I HAVE MY LEFT EYE BACK!!!! " : The Queen. : " WAHT! " the queen walks up to the Regen Post and is immediately healed by it. her wound is gone and replaced by her skin of chitin. as the Regen Post only helps the body heal faster, not give new body parts.... unless needed. " HOW DID YOU DO THAT! THAT REQUIRES HIGH LEVELS OF MAGIE TO DO! " : Random guard. : Ya, you got some explaining to do mister, haveing this kind of magic is illegal...... ( I think. )... anyway, you need to explain yourself, on why you're here, what you are. and what theses structures are for. " : the queen: yes, I must admit as much as I hate it, I agree with this pony here. you need to tell us everything about yourself, and where you two are from, and what you want with me. I only nod my head. I then made a motion for them to follow me. I lead them to a rather blank spot of the scrap yard. I then made a non-essential, building. ( if only temporary. ) { A non-essential building... for the combine, it kind of means building something that is not really useful for the combine as an asset, or has no real purpose. } it was a basic one, more or less of a meeting room, the inside I will need to finish when we get in there. I proceed to contact the advisor and tell him to meet me inside. " copy. " we proceed to walk to the building, but... I keep hearing.... flapping? of wings.... but I do- Never mind. I see it now. " oh crap its Celestia! " the queen says. "shud I be worried about this? " " oh thank the stars. it's the princess." she lands down about 7 feet away from me. and 5 feet from the queen. Celestia said while looking at me and the queen. who was about 2 feet from me. but since Celestia landed the queen got closer to me. and then she went behind me shortly after this Celestia perso- ahh. "pony" said that. as if she was a child who just meet a stranger for the first time. : Guard : " we have Queen Chrysalis and her 'children' as well as this... thing... in our custody." : Celestia : why is it in custody ?. attempted battery on a guard..... with a laser. she raises an eye at this. " Really? a laser. How?, it doesn't have a horn to use magic." she said while pointing at me with a hoof. it's true, I saw it with my own eye's, it used a laser from its eye's to shoow off a manticore from eating another guard. also to build all of these buildings here, it also has powerful enough magic to help repair organs such as eyes. " I CAN PROVE THAT BY COMING OVER THERE IF YOU WANT!. " one of the smaller creatures yelled from back at the Regen Post. ( most likely the one that had his eye gone. ) "HE GAVE ME A NEW EYE!!! " ( as I suspected. ) " and he can regenerate chitin as well. Also, I think he doses not like that plan of yours. "hmm, as it seems. " : stalker : gaaaahhhhh. he then makes a motion for them to follow him into the building. I then start to build a table that took up one corner of the room. ( it was a secular table in shape. ) I then build a total of 8 seats for the table, each one of the seats has a pillow on it, so as to stay comfy for long periods of time. " I need you to build a monitor an AI system, and a mental thoughts translator on me. only the mental thoughts translator on me, ever thing else can go on the table. " " sure thing boss" the stalker then proceeded to build what he was asked to build. starting with the AI. then the monitor on the wall. facing the door. then the translator. a crackling sound could be heard from the advisors back, and then a click sound was heard then nothingness. but that did not last for too long. ok.. is it working? ah, good, it is. hello, I am advisor 41282 of the combine earth forces. and this is SSU. or Special Stalker Unit 14056.B7 of the combine earth forces. and we are currently the only combine forces on this planet for as much as we know at this point. and we would like to say that for the moment we mean no harm. after that whole thing, the Guard's left eye was non stop twitching. Queen Chrysalis looked a little shocked. and Celestia had the face of someone who does not know what to do at the moment. they all say " ahhhhhh. " " yes, shocking isn't it? first time with the whole first contact thing I presume? " yes" Celestia says. " hmm, well as why we are here. I honestly have no idea as to why, for you see there was a portal that opened and my stalker friend here fell throw. after witch I followed him throw, to which let us to a forest. he sadly was unconscious for a total of 42 minutes. due to a head injury. from the height of the portal being off the ground and a rock.... and so after he rose I then proceed to tell him that there was only one other connection besides mine and his, and that would be." the adviser shifted his robotic eye towards the queen. But they are not as strong as you in having a connection. and because of this, you are the closest thing we have to an ally or even a leader. Witch is why the SSU here has been acting so barbaric, even though he may have his humanity he can not stop his primal instincts that the combine installed in his brain, witch is to protect another combine at all cost. " she said with a smile of playfulness. The guard's eye started to twitch again. Celestia looked at Chrysalis. Chrysalis rolled her eye's " ya-ya-ya, it's Getting Far Too serious for my TASTES in here anyway. " the stalker, new Queen of Equestria, previous princess of the land Celestia, and a still eye twitching guard exited the bland and colorless building. while the advisor left through the roof again. as he was too big for the door. they all waited for the advisor to get to them, " ok, so now what? " Chrysalis asks. "Well, if you want, I guess we could start the plans for our operations here and now, sooner rather than later. hey wait just a minute, you guys never told me what this planet's name was, oh well, ill just call it : planet 509 / 2 " " ok, two things, one, why planet 509 / 2 ? and two, this planet already has a name, it's called Earth. said Chrysalis. the stalker blinked, then he blinked again and again. the stalker was dumbfounded. if the advisor could blink, he would. " ahh. well then, this is a rather an unexpected turn of events. " " what do you mean? " Celestia asks. " well, our last planet we were stationed on was also called earth. and as for that last question, 508 is the number of planets we have in our control. if a planet is not fully in our control we give it a slash and a specific set of numbers. which means the percent of control we have on that planet, which is pretty bad if it's just 2 percent. Anyway, we don't exactly know what happened to the last world, for all we know you're the new 508, 509 or even 510, Who knows ... " The advisor said. Chrysalis, guard that seems to have no name and Celestia just blinked. Some of the other guards, changelings, and even some civilians that wanted to take a look at what was going on. heard him speaking and looked over. " So anyway, That's the basic's, were pretty much alone here, waiting either for reinforcements or to just build an LRCG, or a Long Range Communication Grid in order to call for backup. " hmm, I would like to see this 'LRCG' when you are done with its construction. " "as would I " Queen Chrysalis and Celestia said / Requested. " that can be arranged. " the advisor said. the crowd of Civilians gasps. the 5 of them look to where the sudden and very audible sound of gasps came from. it did not take too long for them to find them. when they looked at the crowd, an uproar of violence and vulgar language immediately ensued. such things that were said was. " Changelings! THRE ALL CHANGELINGS SQUISH THEM ALL!!. " Celestia is with them maybe she's a changeling too!!. " " WE DEMAND ANANSERS! WHAT'S GOING ON! " KILL THEM ALL.! " one of the guards then said out loud. " WHAT DO WE DO PRINCESS? ORDERS!! " the crowd was starting to hit, kick and even throw rocks at the guards, and undisguised changelings, and even them. " Guards! retreat and protect the Changelings! keep them safe, and don't let the citizens through the main gate. " Celestia ordered to her guards. after she said that more words were said by the crowd. " She IS a Changeling AND the guards, KILL THEM ALL!. "Grrr, how can my little pony's be so ignorant, don't even start. " after Celestia said that Chrysalis suddenly had a rather big smile on her face, she did not say anything for the time being. " Ok, this is getting out of control fast, SSU, We need to speed up our plans, go build a barracks, and make it snappy. " the Advisor said. the stalker went to carry out his duty's. the second after the stalker was done the advisor gave another order. the fighting was still going on, some of the changelings that weren't hurt even provided a magic barrier to help the guards. " Ok, now go and build an HQ, that shud be all we need for now. " " Copy. " about 30 seconds later the building was completed. some of the Guards and Changelings that weren't holding the entrance or helping to keep the barrier up, looked up, stared in awe at the magnificent construction that was taller than 98 % of the buildings on this planet. " Cool. " said one of the Guards. " Excellent... ok, now we need to get some new units, and quick. " the Advisor said to the stalker. " Agreed. " replied the stalker. seconds later, the HQ ( or mini citadel ) had alarms, sirens and warnings going off. one such warning was of this. " Warning. Core reprogramming detected. " " Warning. Core reprogramming detected. " " Warning: Three minutes to singularity. " " Warning: Three minutes to singularity. " The HQ's A.I said in a female tone that was extremely similar to the ' Voice of the City ' in city 17, in fact, it WAS the same voice. " Crap. " said the advisor. " what's wrong? " asked Celestia, Chrysalis, the guard, and half of every life form. " well." replied the advisor nervously. ( if he had emotions that is. ) " As it seems that just before we went throw the portal, the core was unstable, and the SSU here automatically downloaded the latest of the blueprints for the construction of the HQ, and because of that, Well you see, the thing is, Ummm " " where all gonna die. " " WHAT! " mostly ever one yelled. " Yeaaahhhh. sorry about that, but when that core goe's, we all go with it. 100 % of everyone who was listening had their jaws hitting the ground, wide-eyed they all said. " FIX IT THEN! " " OK ok, geez. " " SSU, umm. well, you know what to do. " go and reprogram the core so that why it doesn't, well you know, explode. ** just less than 2 minutes later. " Warning: One minute to singularity. " outside the HQ is one thing with the voice speaking, but inside is a completely different story, as it echo's, loud, and almost menacing. But the stalker uses to that and was not affected by the normally fear inducing tension building up inside the tower that he was in. " Sterilizers and containment fields compromised. " the stalker was inputting codes for the core to restabilize itself. * 10 seconds later. * ' ok, just need to ~ ' " Priority Warning: Thirty seconds to singularity. " the stalker was almost done, he just needed to complete the coding, then let the core become stable, which will require him to monitor it for some time afterward's. " Priority Warning: Fifteen seconds to singularity. " ' ....... ' the stalker was concentrating to his fullest extent, in every atom of his body, and his augmentations. " { At this point it would be 2 seconds till they all would have died BTW. } " Priority alert: Core Reprogramming situated, Core may Require manual visual monitoring for an extended period of 24 hours. " outside the HQ. Everyone gave a big sigh of relief as they heard the last message come from a pair of unseen speakers. " I'm glad that is all over. " said Celestia to no one in particular. The relief that was felt was not long lived, as the fighting was still going on at the main gate. " Oh, ya, I forgot about them, and since the stalker is busy with that.... oh well, I guess I'll have to be the one that will oversee the Garrison for a while, after all, we still at the very least, need to get those temporary units. for both internal defenses and operations and external offense and intelligence. " The Adviser said to nobody in particular, almost as if he was talking to himself. { He was. } The Advisor started to hover ( move ) in the direction of the barracks. When he was at the proper distance, he proceeded to connect to the Garrisons mainframe. ' Hmmm, ok let's see what do we have here... Hmm... oh that might me a good one.... or maybe that one..... hmmm, what to choose. ' The Advisor though. The Advisor over all decided to pick the Riot metro cops. as they provide The best defense with large crowds. An audible sound was being emitted by the Garrison, it was a low humming sound almost like the sound of gears grinding. Suddenly what looked like a pair of doors opened up to reveal a clouded figure, as the inside of the building was foggy. The figure slowly stepped out onto the grass to reveal a bi-piddle like creature, wearing what looked to the ponys, a full set of full body armor, a mask of some kind, and a metal stick. " hmm. come here. " ordered the advisor. the Riot Metro Cop ( RMC ) followed his order to the letter, not even taking in the fact that he was now on a completely different world. " What are my orders. " The being said, with a voice that sounded like it was covered up, the sound of static was in the background. " hmm, loyal, that's good. we need more like you, anyway. Stand over there and wait for orders. " the Advisor said. " Copy. " * 3 and a half minutes later. * there was a total of 29 more that when it first started. { 30 total. } " ahhhhhh." said Chrysalis. " hmm? oh hey, do you need anything, My Queen.? " " Ya, kind of. more of 2 things. " " like what? just name it and ill see what I can do. " " well, first thing is that I would like to know what those things are, and two, we are losing ground at the gate. " she pointed at the gate. It haveing at least lost 7 feet to the rebel scum, at least in the robotic eye of the advisor. " and so I would like to know what you're going to do about that. " " Actually, I was about to fix that problem right now. " " Really? in what way. " " ok I'll answer it , but first let me answer your first question, so basically these are CP's, or Civil Protection, but specifically they are RMC's or Riot Metro Cops. They are mostly to help control riots and other such things. as for how they will help us. well, you'll see for yourself. " " ..... ooooookkkkkkkkk. " she said while looking skeptically at him. " ok then, All right, listen up all of you. your first assignment is to provide as much of a defensive line for our allies here, you are to GUARD and DEFEND the main gate. DO ALLLL OF YOU UNDERSTAND ME IN THIS ONE SIMPLE ORDER. " " YES! " They yelled in unison. "Good, now move out. " the RMC's all began to march in a single line, strat and forward to the main gate. when they arrived they all looked straight at the gate, already knowing what to do. the ponys both holding the gate and fighting to enter the scrap yard, both stopped fighting to look at the at least 3 feet higher than them creatures. one of the officers spoke. " Fellow Civil-Protection member's, please move, as you are no longer needed for this job, but we are. all of the guards moved out of the way so of as to let them by. the same CP spoke again. " Citizens, isolate. " suddenly a shout came from the center of the crowd. " THIS IS JUST ANOTHER TRICK, THERE JUST CHANGELINGS!! ALL OF THEM! DON'T LET THEM FOOL US!! " after hearing that statement the rest of the crowd became more angry at the possibility of the changelings trying to scare them off. the same officer spoke one last time. " Citizens, this is your last warning, you are to isolate the area and return to your homes, or else you will be charged with terminal violations 148, 243, 245. " the crowd did not back down. " hmmph. it's your choice. " The ponys began to move forward to the imposing officers. " Fire off a warning shot. " " Copy. " One of the officer's unholstered Ther USP Match, also known as a 9mm Pistol, semi-automatic handgun, then proceeded to take it out of the holster, aimed it just above their heads. and fired. ( BANG ) " AHHHHH!!! " The crowd Screamed. Most if not all of them were backing off, all but two of them. A female, and a male. The both of them were in an imposing stance. The male had a blue coat of fur and a main of white, as well as a pair of wings. the female was like an opposite doppelganger, completely different in every way, weight, size, beliefs, hopes, dreams, ext. And what I mean by that is that they looked like opposites. she had a body of white and a main of blue, in addition to that, she also has a horn. " Citizens " The officer who fired the gun said. " I would Like Too Recommend that you two leave now. Before you do something that you will regret. " " NEVER! " They both yelled back. The advisor suddenly yelled from the far. " Mission reminder, you are to GUARD the gate and protect the citizens on this side of the gate, nothing more. so no attacking unless if ordered or in self-defense. " " Understood! " The RMC's said. Then, without warning, they pulled their Riot shields off from their backs and put them in front of their bodies as a shield, as they are supposed to be used for. They proceeded to the gate. Blocking the way from any of them attempting to advance from the ground. Both the male and female looked at each other, then nodded. the male started to flap his wings and was lifted off the ground. he then proceeded to go above the female and pick her up. " ahhh. should we be worried about this? " one of the RMC's asked. " That Depends " Another Responded. "Let the other's deal with them, But if they Do become an issue, well, you know. " The unit use's his unoccupied hand to take his stun stick and turn it on for about 4 seconds, then turned it off after showing the other unit. The unit Nod'ed to his officer, turning back to the no longer advancing crowd.

" " Oh, sorry, I didn't realize how similar your species is to humans, your mind must be so full of emotions, like that one, Confidence. Which is triggered by fear, and as it seems, instead of succumbing to it, you chose to stand your ground. Fear... the fear of the unknown is triggered by one's inability to fully understand, ignorants. so you aren't fully capable of understanding, or comprehending now are you?. " the advisor says more before Celestia response. " Confidence born of ignorance, the cycle can not be broken. " the advisor concludes. " I ...I .. " Celestia takes a deep breath and sighs, then says. " I honestly don't know how to properly react to this. " " Quite." the adviser responded. the guard's eye seems to be twitching more so than ever. " so, what's supposed to happen next? " the Guard asked. the stalker and adviser looked at each other. " well. " the adviser began. " we are most likely going to start building an HQ first, then build a barracks, so that we can start to gather some Planit side military forces. Then establish a new city, which will most likely and most obviously be called city 1. or 01, depending on how you would say it. anyway, after we have established the city we will need to have some citizen's, most likely the queen's subjects outside, and maybe whatever your species is, then after that, we will have to setup all the stuff for the citizen's, namely Ration's, housing, security, and more. " the advisor finishes the last part of their plans. " that is unless you have any objections to our plans, as this planet's representative, you have the authority to start and stop all combine operations here on this planet. oh, and that reminds me, what is this planet's name? " the advisor finishes while looking at his new Queen and leader. " sounds good to me. " His queen says. " wait, what." Celestia says with a bit of fear in her voice. " what do you mean she is our planets representative, and since when. " " oh sorry, as it seems I have forgotten to mention that part, yes, she is the representative for your whole planet, but as it seems there are more than one species on this planet, so you may have a representative for your species then, that is unless if our queen here does not allow that. " " ok, wait just a minute, are you saying that Queen Chrysalis here, the number one most wanted criminal in Equestrian history, is going to outrank Princess Celestia, the PRINCESS OF THIS LAND THAT YOU ARE IN RIGHT NOW! " " by combine law, yes. " " I'm done, I quit. " the queen herself was trying to not fall out of her chair, snickering the entire time. " we- pff. well then, wh-( snicker ) - what would happen if I - pffff, if I asked you to execute Celestia right now. pff. " the queen said while trying to not die of the hilarious situation happening in front of her. " we would not even hesitate to have her head cut off, and throw her body into an acid pit, that is unless you have any specific requests. " the room went deadly silent. Celestia was now a bit paler then when she first walked in, which is odd because she has a coat of pure white. Celestia and Chrysalis looked at each other with worried faces. "would you like to confirm that order, miss? " " ahhhhh no. " " can you please confirm that you wish to 'NOT kill Celestia' " " yes." " Execution request canceled. " Both Celestia and Queen Chrysalis stare at the adviser. Queen Chrysalis then said. " I assumed that this was all a big joke, but as it seems this is more serious than the both of us Celestia. " " so it seems Chrysalis. "
