Prologue
The Tale of a Palace Wizard

It’s a nice fall evening and I am just returning home from work. I try to block out how annoying the customers and coworkers are, and decide to drown out these thoughts with some video games. When I pull up into my driveway, I notice that your parents’ car is gone.
Must have went to the store for groceries. I think to myself and I think nothing of it.
I get out of my car and head towards the front door. Above there are a couple ducks flying south in a V formation, a couple cars drive by on the road, and a neighbor walks past. Inside my home is quiet, which is strange because my annoying brother is almost always here by now. But not seeing him I continue on up the stairs to the second floor of my small house.
I enter my room that is honestly quite messy, but I don’t care. I move some clothes off the floor and adjust my chair in front of my TV. I grab the nearest controler and I reach for the TV’s power button. When I press it the TV screen sparks to life, but it’s picture glitches and switches to a white fuzz.
“Stupid old TV.” I complain out loud and I hit the side of it lightly to see if it’ll clear up. Which it doesn’t. Instead it only gets brighter, and brighter.
“What is wrong with it now?” I say out loud and I check behind the TV, but I notice that it is unplugged. “What?” I ask confused and I look back to the screen. I press the power button again, but the TV does not respond to the command. I try switching channels using the old style buttons that are mounted on the TV itself. But it seems to not even know it has any buttons.
I put my hands on my hips and I stare at the screen with a mixture of a confused and frustrated expression.
“Just great. Broken.” I mumble to myself and I go to turn the TV off again. But the screen flickers as my hand approaches. I inch my hand closer and it flickers again. Instead of pressing the button, I touch the glass screen.
Suddenly the screen flicks to black before revealing a swirling vortex of colors. My body freezes in place as I look at the screen with shock. The vortex seems to be driving itself out of my TV and it begins to pull me in. I try to yell or scream, but I cannot make a sound or move. Within seconds I am thrown forward into a swirling mass of strange colors.
I tumble and fall as my body now allows me to scream in panic. I look back from where I came from and I see my body standing there with a shocked expression before collapsing out of view. Then the world I had known vanishes and I am left in this swirling hell.
Suddenly I feel an extreme pain in my back. As I flail I see blood running out the bottom of my shirt. A painful bump extrudes on my forehead as blood begins to run out of that spot. I scream and yell for it to stop, but it doesn’t.
As I flail around I hear a sickening ripping noise and a terrible pain coming from my. I look down at my shirt and blood is constantly dripping out of it. Then suddenly my hands begin to burn and I look at them. My fingers begin to retract into my palms right before my eyes, and the pain in my feet tell me the same is happening. The skin on my arms suddenly turns a deep dark blue that burns my entire body.
Suddenly I see ground approaching quickly and I land with a powerful thud. My vision is blurred and the pain does not hold up. I begin to pass out, but before my eyes shut, I see a bright blurry pink figure approaching me. Though before I can make out any details, I slip out of consciousness…
After an unknown amount of time, I begin to wake. I feel warmth and a soft object underneath me. I try to open my eyes and my vision is completely blurry. Though as my head sways back and forth, my vision slowly clears up. I look off to my left and see a wall. I begin to presume that I simply got tired in my room and went to bed. But when I look to my right, I see a bright pink… pony? It looks like they are asleep, but facing away from me so I can’t tell.
I look at the pink object with shock because I was not expecting to see that there. I move a hand to my head as I slowly realize that my body is still in pain. Only then do I not have hands, but a horn in the middle of my forehead! I feel my body jump slightly as I feel the foreign object there. I try to remain calm to the best of my ability.
While I’m preoccupied in trying to not panic, the pink object stirs slowly and turns towards me. Apparently sleeping next to me is a cute looking pink pony with blue eyes. When her eyes focus on me a huge smile appears on her face.
“You’re awake!” She exclaims very happily.
I jump again at the sudden noise and I look towards her. I’m caught off guard that this pink pony can talk, or smile that widely.
“W-what happened to me?” I ask the pony expecting her to know the answer. My voice came out tired and raspy from thirst.
Though all she does is shrug as she smiles happily towards me. Which isn't much help and I begin to panic. I look at my hands- hooves with shocked eyes. The pink mare gets off the bed and walks over to a desk across the room. It is only now that I realize that this isn’t my room at all, and it must be nighttime evident by the crickets. She picks something up and looks at it.
I slowly try to get up out of the bed and try to stand like a human. Though because my skeletal structure is severely different, I lose balance and fall on my back. The pink mare turns around very quickly and looks at me with a worried look.
“Lay down… You are still very weak.” She tells you with a sweet and soft voice. She approaches me with a mirror and hands… Or I guess hooves me the mirror. I sigh slightly from being told to sit down, but I look into the mirror. It takes me a few minutes to fully understand what exactly I am looking at. Though I begin to panic as I place a hoof on my cheek.
In the square shaped mirror I see a shocked dark blue pony staring directly at me… He has a very long horn in the center of his forehead the same color as his fur. His eyes are a stunning green with a dark gray messy mane.
“Wh-Where am I?” I ask her as I look up from the mirror. She gently moves her hooves underneath my back and slowly sits me up.
“My place.” She whispers with a tired yet relieved voice.
“Alright, uh…” I reply and I pause as I try to calm down. “What time is it?”
“It’s one in the morning silly… I couldn’t just leave you there a bloody mess. So I took you home, cleaned you up, and laid you down on my bed.” She tells me softly with a smile on her face. “Guess I fell asleep too.” She giggles and gives me a hug. But before I can say anything she lets me go and begins to leave the room.
I process the story she told me and I can’t help but smile a little at the end. “Thank you miss, I don’t know what to say.” I tell her with a thankful tone. Plus I’m surprised and happy that she helped out a complete stranger.
“Name’s Pinkamena Diane Pie. But you can call me Pinkie.” She replies happily and walks through the door. Though she pokes her head back in. “Oh, and don’t lay down on your back.” She tells me before slipping back through the door and closing it behind her.
What? I think privately as I am left alone. I turn my head and look at my back. Before my eyes are two large wings the same color as my fur. The feathers look long and beautiful.
“What happened to me?” I ask myself as I look at them. The wings twitch a bit at my confusion, but otherwise they stay still and folded. Though after looking at them for awhile I become dizzy and tired. So I lay down on my stomach questioning everything that has happened to me the past few hours. Though sleep catches up to me like a speeding train and before I know it I am asleep.

I'm sorry if the intro was pretty crap, I had to BS a new one from scratch because the one we had that was written back in 2014 was way worse.

When I come to after falling asleep last night the pain in my body has completely gone. I even feel somewhat normal. I look around feeling a little groggy. It appears I am in a bedroom and judging from the light pouring through the window it must be mid-day or so.
I look to my side and I see Pinkie laying here facing away from me. I slowly sit up and rub my eye. Though when I see that my hands are not hands anymore all the memories flood back to me. While I think about everything I contemplate on waking Pinkie to ask for answers. But luckily for me she seems to have been awake and waiting for you to stir. She turns to me with a happy smile.
“Finally you’re awake!” She says and seeming to hold back all of her excitement. Probably to help not make me feel any more uncomfortable than I already am. “It’s been four days!”
“W-w-wait. Four days!” I reply shocked to what she is telling me. I rub my forehead a little bit. “That would explain why I feel better.” I mumble more towards myself as a comment. She laughs a little and gets off the bed.
“I’m happy that you feel better.” She tells me relieved to hear that. “Ya gotta name?” She asks kindly.
“Um, ya. “I’m Elijah.” I tell her as I stop rubbing my forehead.
“You’re one of those ponies with the weird names aren’t ya?” She asks me laughing. “Now let’s try to get you out of bed.” She tells me and walking around the bed.
“Umm… Ok.” I reply quietly as I scoot over to the edge of the bed. I place my hind left leg on the floor, then my front left. “Oh man. This feels weird.” I mumble to myself as I concentrate on slowly shifting my balance.
But before I can think about what I am doing for too long, I feel Pinkie grab hold of me. She pulls me off the bed, in which I lose my footing. When I fall I let out some sort of startled yelp. It takes me a moment to realize that I had fallen on top of her and my dark blue face suddenly burns red.
“I-I’m sorry I jus-” I try to explain, but she stops me with a quick kiss to the forehead. I paralyze from that fact and it takes me a second to process this. She pushes me up and slowly gets up underneath me. Stumbling a bit I follow her to a stance with my cheeks still burning red. When I am fully standing I force myself to say something.
“Um.. Thank you for… Helping me stand.” I tell her blushing and trying to not be awkward. But before she can answer you hear a knock on a door somewhere else in the house. Pinkie’s head turns quickly to her closed bedroom door before looking up at me. Her eyes are wide and she gets out from under me.
“Hide.” She whispers urgently to me as she pushes me into a closet. She shuts the door and I am surrounded in darkness. I look at the light barely making through the slits in the door with startled eyes. I try to stand up in the closet, but I knock something over and it falls on top of me. It’s soft and feels like a blanket. I swear quietly to myself as it is harder to see.
Through the slits of the closet door I see a dark figure walk over to the bed and sit down and Pinkie reenter the room. I hear that they are talking, but I can’t make out what they are saying. After a little while of talking, the figure gets up and leaves the bedroom. But so does Pinkie. Then I hear a door close further in the house followed by silence. I start to get worried and my mind begins to panic a bit.
What do I do?! Where did she go? Am I alone? Do I dare try to follow? I think to myself worriedly. But I slowly open the closet door and look around. The small house is completely all to myself. I walk a bit awkwardly over to the bed and use it to stabilize me while I retrain myself on how to walk. I release the bed and make it to the bedroom door.
I open the door and relieved that the door didn’t have a circular knob. I go into what looks like the living room and I look around. The more I walk the less awkward it is getting. I see a picture on top of the fireplace mantle and I go over to it.
The picture frame reveals a group picture of Pinkie and 5 other mares. I don’t have a clue who the others are, but that doesn’t matter too much right now. I turn away from the photo and I decide to risk the world, for whatever it holds. Though before I open the front door, a piece of paper stops you at the front door that is on the floor. I look down at the folded piece of paper questionably.
I go to pick it up, though without fingers it seems to be impossible. I know I have a unicorn’s horn, but I obviously don’t know how to use it. Let alone use it well enough to open the letter. So I sit down on the floor staring at the paper. I lift a hoof and began swiping at it until it unfolds.
Don’t go outside just yet. I’m going to the market with twilight to help her find some quills and paper. I’ll be back soon.

“Well there goes that chance on finding out whe-” I say to myself but I stop and I look down at the note again. “Did she say Love Pinkie?” I ask myself and I look closer and she did! Why would she write that? I ask myself mentally. But I smile a little and I look around her home for things to keep me occupied.
For maybe half an hour I practiced walking and exploring as I do so. The house is really quite small. She has one bedroom, a bathroom attached to it, kitchen and livingroom.
But suddenly I hear hoofsteps and the front door slowly starts to open. I get startled enough that I swiftly make it to the bedroom and back into the closet. I shut the door behind me and I look through the slits in the door. I see Pinkie walk through the bedroom door followed by a purple mare. I look at the stranger as my heart beats quickly in my chest. Pinkie of which is looking right at the closet door.
“It’s okay. Come on out and meet Twilight.” Pinkie says reassuringly and I see the other mare look at Pinkie. I sigh quietly to myself and I slowly open the door. I get up and walk a little awkwardly towards them and I sit down a few feet from them. Pinkie seeing that I left the closet looks at me with a happy grin and she sits down next to me. She even hugs me and leaves one arm around my shoulders.
“So this is Twilight.” She tells me and points to the other mare. Seeing Pinkie’s kindness towards me makes me happy and I look towards this “Twilight.” The lavender mare herself has a horn and a set of wings, which catch my interest.
“Hello.” I say to her and raise my hand as if to give a handshake, only to remember I don’t have hands. I end up looking at my outstretched hoof for a moment, then putting it back down. Twilight of which just looks at me with awe. Pinkie looks as if she is nervous.
“A-are you ok Miss Twilight?” I ask sharing Pinkie’s nervousness.
“Intriguing. I’ve never met… Or even seen a Werepony before.” She replies as she looks at you.
“A-a were what?” I ask confused.
“Everypony knows of dragons, griffons, manticores and so on. But never a werepony. I would love to run tests on you.”
“Wait run tests on me? What does that mean?” I ask very nervously and I slink back a bit behind Pinkie. Pinkie looks at me, then over to Twilight. She lets me go and stands up.
“Okee dokee, he’s really tired. I think you should go, bye bye Twilight.” She tells her friend.
“Sure…” Twilight replies as she looks at Pinkie. She gets up and walks out of the bedroom… But Pinkie stops her and makes something very clear.
“Nopony must know.” Pinkie tells Twilight. Twilight looks at her for a moment silently before walking out of the house.
I look at Pinkie with confusion, but I’m relieved that her friend left before she could start “testing” on me. Pinkie turns to me and smiles softly.
“Don’t worry.” She reassures me and she notices the note that she wrote. I see her pink cheeks blush slightly in embarrassment. I notice her blush and I look at her softly.
“You okay Pinkie?” I ask genuinely.
“Haha, you read that silly note…” She replies and she tries to subtly kick the paper under the fridge… But she fails.
I chuckle a bit. “Cute.” I accidentally comment out loud and blush immediately after. “Why did she want to run tests on me?”
“She’s the smart one.” Pinkie tells me laughing with a slight sarcastic tone.
“Don't we all have that one friend?” I ask chuckling, though a bit nervously. Though as I look at her, Pinkie smiles happily to me. She seems to be the happiest thing I have ever seen in my life. Even after Pinkie found me a complete mess, and that meeting with Twilight.
“You know… Ever since I met you, you haven't stopped smiling. You look so happy all the time. How do you do it?” I ask her, hoping I don't offend her somehow.
“Simple silly. I just think about good things. Like me meeting you.” She replies happily.
“Me too Pinkie.” I tell her happily and her statement makes me happy.
She blushes again at my comment. I notice a slight shy discomfort to her. So I decide to change the subject.
“Anyway uh…” I begin and I rub a hoof on the back of my head. “Uhh, oh! Do you have any pets?” I ask her. Hearing my question makes her smile happily.
“Gummy!” She calls out.
“Gummy? What?” I ask her and I turn to the side revealing a small green alligator. “Uhh what is tha-” I try to ask, but the little lizard jumps up and clamps it’s jaw on my face. I scream in shock and I start running around Pinkie’s home not able to see anything. I try to shake the animal off of me, but I can't get it off.
I hear Pinkie just sitting there laughing her head off. She doesn't help because she is laughing absolutely so hard. I realize that the animal’s bite isn't hurting me, but before I can calm down and get it off I slam into the wall.
I fall onto my back and I look to the side. Pinkie is still laughing hysterically, and I see the tail end of the alligator waddling away.
“What the hell was that?!” I ask her shocked.
“That’s Gummy!” She replies laughing as she falls over to her side.
“Wish you would have told me you had an alligator for a pet.” I complain quietly and I sit myself up. Pinkie continues to laugh for another 5 minutes before sitting up and wiping her eye.
“That was funny.” She tells me chuckling and she looks at the clock. She jumps when she realizes what time it is. “Oh! You must be starving! What do you like to eat?” She asks me and in all the excitement I completely forgot that I haven't eaten anything in four or so days, and I’m quite starving. And to make things better my stomach growls in protest as if on cue.
“Ohhhh man… um. Do you have any steak or- Wait, that’s right. Pony so… Vegetarian uh…” I mumble to myself and I try to think of something.
“How about cake!?!” She says loudly with so much enthusiasm that I can’t help but agree with her.
“Um okay!” I reply happily, though that can’t be very nutritious. She heads over to the kitchen and turns towards me.
“If you would like to, you can read a book or something until dinner is ready.” She offers kindly.
“Uh ok. Let me know if you need any help cooking.” I reply smiling at her before getting up and walking semi-awkwardly to her bookshelf. Stupid quadruped walking. I complain mentally.
“No, no. I’ll do it. Just rest.” I hear her tell me from the kitchen and I hear her moving about doing her thing.
“Okay Pinkie.” I reply smiling, though a bit saddened by her absence in the room. But I do as I’m told and I head back into the bedroom. I lay down on her bed on my belly and I try to relax. I turn my head so my cheek is resting on one of her pillows and I see Gummy. That vile little creature that embarrassed me infront of Pinkie. I try to flip him off, but with hooves that’s a bit difficult, so I rest my head on my arms. I get lost in thought about recent events and trying to make sense of how I even got here.
While thinking of all that I have been through I jolt at a high pitched yelp. I jump out of bed and run out to check on what made the noise. “Are you okay Pinkie?” I ask as I go to the kitchen.
“Yea, just burned myself.” She replies but very happy to see your quick response.
“Oh. I am happy it isn’t anything too serious. May I see the burn?” I ask as I approach her. She holds up her front hooves revealing a burn that is actually pretty bad.
“Oh! Oh. Um we should get some cold water on that.” I tell her softly. I gently push her towards her sink and I turn on the cold water. I see her look up at me with a caring gaze as I place her painful hooves under the cold water. I smile back to her with a similar look.
“It’ll be just fine. Just needs to cool down.” I tell her and I look over to her cake. “Hmm I think that I should help you finish off that cake.” I add and I push it fully into the oven after using a thick cloth I found. I close the door with a forearm and sit. Pinkie looks over at me and laughs.
“It’s done silly.” She informs me.
“Oh. Silly me. Guess that makes my job harder.” I reply smiling and I turn off the oven with my mouth. I then grip the handle with my teeth and open the oven door. But I pause and wonder on how the hell I am going to remove the hot cake from the oven.
I do have a unicorn’s horn. I think to myself as I look at the cake. But Pinkie is a normal pony and wouldn’t have any idea on how magic works. Guess I could try and find out myself.
So I make up my mind and I close my eyes. I focus on the cake and picture it lifting out of the oven. I feel a strange flow going to my forehead and I open my eyes. I see a weak green aura around the cake and the more I focus the brighter it gets. The tray the cake is sitting on shakes a bit before slowly lifting off the oven rack. I look at it wide eyed as the cake slowly makes its way out of the oven. When it is clear I move it backwards and set it down on the counter next to the oven.
“Wow! How did you learn that so fast?!” She asks a bit shocked that you were able to use your magic so early.
“I- I have no idea.” I tell her truthfully. “I just pictured it floating and… It did.” I add and I close the oven door using my head literally. Pinkie pulls her hooves out from under the cold water and turns the faucet off. She dries her hooves off and walks over to me and the unfinished cake.
“I’ll decorate it.” She says happily and kisses me on the cheek. I blush pretty hard at her, but I work up the courage to nuzzle her. She seems to brighten up more as I do so.
“Now go do something. Thank you for helping me.” She tells me with a cute little smile. I smile happily and I walk out of her kitchen. She begins to hum happy sounding tunes to herself as I find her bookshelf. Though I get a bit distracted by her humming and it calms me. I search through her bookshelf, but there is a lot of things about partying and similar books. Of which I don’t find very interesting. So I sit down on her couch and snooze with her humming lulling me to an almost slumber state.
After maybe a half hour to an hour I feel Pinkie gently shaking my shoulder. When I open my eyes I see a very happy Pinkie Pie very close to me. She seems to be smiling from ear to ear.
“Hello.” I say to her and also smiling.
“The cake is finally done!” She exclaims and pulls me up off the couch. She drags me to the kitchen revealing a pretty large and beautiful cake. It is decorated with pink, blue, and purple frostings. I look at her with awe and she is pointing to the center of the cake. I turn my head towards where she is pointing.
There in the center she drew a likeness of my face into the frosting, with of course even more frosting. When she sees me spot the centerpiece she starts giggling. It takes me a moment to process this since I am a bit sleepy from my nap, but nonetheless I feel myself blush a little. I look over to her and laugh along with her.
“Looks spot on.” I tell her and I lean against her a little. Our fur intermingling, and hers feels really soft.
“Well let’s dig in!” She says excitedly and she begins to cut out a large piece of the cake for me. Though she keeps herself leaning against me just a little.
“Thank you.” I tell her as she places the slice on a plate for me. I try out my magic again, but it fizzles out and doesn’t reform. So I carefully pick the plate up in my mouth and walk slowly over to the table. Though because the cake is in my face I almost trip over the table itself. But I set the plate down before I ruin it. Pinkie giggles to me as she sets a plate down next to mine that also has some cake. But before she has a chance to sit I pull her chair out for her.
She looks up at me with a cute little smile and she sits down, but her excitement returns and she looks at me in anticipation for me to try the cake. I sit myself down in a chair next to her and I stare at my cake slice. I try a bite by basically putting my face into it and my mouth is explodes in a mixture of chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla flavors. Pinkie starts giggling again at my manner of eating but she seems to be waiting for any sort of response.
“This is the most amazing cake I have ever had!” I tell her with a wide smile. She laughs happily and looks satisfied with my response. She takes a bite too and seems happy with what she created.
Though as we eat I can’t help but think of the future. Where will I live? With her? What about my old life? My friends and family? Is this my home now? I ponder on this for awhile and I slow down in my eating, getting lost in thought. Of course it would be great to live here, but what of my world? I haven’t even been given an answer to where I am yet. So I break the silence and I look towards Pinkie.
“Um Pinkie? Can you tell me where I am? I mean what town and country am I in?” I ask her softly and hoping she’ll answer me. She looks at me and smiles.
“Ponyville.” She replies and goes back to eating happily. Though her answer doesn’t exactly help since I have no clue where that is. But I accept it and resume eating the amazing cake. Though I stay quiet and think. Pinkie on the other hand looks over to me and stops eating.
“What are you thinking so hard of?” She asks and tilts her head a little. “Is there something wrong with the cake?”
“What? No no Pinkie the cake is flawless… It’s just, uh…” I pause and get embarrassed. “It is just that I was thinking about where I am going to live. What I’m going to do… I am eternally grateful for what you have done for me. And I- if I may ask… Can I stay here? And live with you?” I ask her and the longer I talk the redder my face gets. I see her blushing too after I finish, though she then looks at me with a loving expression.
“Of course you can stay here… You’re fun.” She tells me softly with an adorable smile. Hearing her say that to me makes me very happy and I look back at her with a loving expression.
“Thank you!” I tell her and I hug her tight as we stay sitting next to each other. She looks at me and turns my face so I am looking at her. We look into each other’s eyes for a moment, then she closes her eyes and presses her lips against mine. My eyes open wide as I look at her, but I stay still. I close my eyes slowly and my hug grows tighter around her. I kiss her back and I focus on the feeling of her soft lips.
As we slowly pull away from the kiss we stare at each other in silence. She smiles and opens her mouth to say something, but suddenly there is a knock on the door. I almost jump at the knocking, but because of our embrace I don’t move. Pinkie looks at me kindly and nuzzles my cheek.
“It’s okay.” She reassures me and she slowly lets me go, and I loosen my grip on her. She walks over to the front door and opens it revealing her friend that was here earlier, Twilight. Oh no not her again. I think privately but I hold a straight face as I stand next to Pinkie.
“Hello.” I say to Pinkie’s friend. Though she looks at us a little awkwardly.
“I hope I didn't interrupt anything.” Twilight says to us and Pinkie looks at me a little embarrassed. She grabs hold of my wings and folds them back in that I hadn't noticed that had opened. I blush heavily at that, but I counter it.
“Uh no you didn't. We were uh, going to find someone to help teach me how to fly.” I lie pretty unconvincingly. Twilight looks at me with a face that clearly shows that she doesn't believe me. Then she looks at Pinkie.
“Anyway… I found out something about your friend here.” Twilight says to Pinkie and catches my attention.
“What did you find out?” The both of us ask almost at the same time.
“It isn't a lot of detailed information. I found it in an ancient book of myths and mare’s tales. Apparently wereponies look like a pony only in our world, but when thy head back to theirs they return to their normal. They can alternate between the worlds, provided that they have a way. But the periods of time between worlds is rather… Excruciatingly painful, as I imagine you already know “ Twilight reports to us.
“Yes, very much so.” I tell Twilight as I rub my forehead. “But how did I go from my world to yours? And why do I have a unicorn’s horn and wings like you?” I ask her confused.
“Apparently… You are whatever species depending on personality… Or sheer luck. The book wasn't very precise on that and didn't give any details. As for how you got here that’s anypony’s guess.” Twilight replies.
“Well… Okay then.” I reply as most of my questions are still unanswered. Twilight and I both look over to Pinkie and she has stopped paying any attention. Pinkie is playing with her tail and giggling quietly to herself. I smile towards Pinkie and I don't disturb her.
“That’s so cute.” I quietly say to myself. Twilight looks at me silently when I say that.
“Well i’ll leave you two to do… Whatever it was that you were doing.” She says to us and stands up.
“Thank you for the information.” I tell her relieved that she is leaving. Once Twilight is outside I close the front door softly. I look towards Pinkie again and I chuckle happily. Pinkie looks up at me and smiles.
“Wanna go into town with me tomorrow? I gotta get some apples and hay.” She asks me smiling and doesn’t seem to notice that Twilight had left.
“Ya sure. It’ll be fun. And gives me a chance to see where I’ll be living.” I reply happily as I sit down next to her.
“Ponyville is the perfect town to live in!” She tells me excitedly. Then she gets up and walks over to her bedroom. She stops at the door and looks back at me. “Hey it’s getting late. Ya coming Eli?” She asks me happily.
“Oh. Yah.” I reply smiling and I get up and follow her. She sits down on her bed and taps the spot next to her. Then she turns on an 80’s style TV resting on a table at the end of her bed that I didn’t notice before.
I blush slightly from the thought of sharing a bed with her, but I get over it and I sit down on the bed. I lean against her gently and watch the old TV with her. Pinkie rests her head on my shoulder and part of her mane blocks my vision. But I don’t mind it and I slowly wrap an arm around her shoulders. I hear her giggle quietly for a bit but she doesn’t say anything.
After a couple scary movies, some bags of popcorn, and of course more cake Pinkie falls asleep. I cuddle into her a little more as I hear her soft and relaxed breathing. I turn off the TV and rest my head against hers. Within minutes of the quietness of the house I fall asleep with her.

MLP: Tale of the Palace Wizard
When I come to in the morning after watching those scary movies with Pinkie I see that she is still asleep in my arms. I smile to her and gently nuzzle her head between her ears. She still smells of cake frosting and popcorn. I let out a yawn then bury my nose into her mane. I feel her stir a bit and she wakes up. She stretches in my embrace and looks up at me. I smile happily and at her and she gives me a quick kiss on the lips.
“Gotta brush my teeth.” She tells me with another yawn.
“Same here. But I’ll wait until you get out.” I reply and I gently let her go. She sits up in bed and stretches again. She pats my chest with a hoof before trotting over to the bathroom that is connected to her bedroom. I hear her turn on her shower and get in.
I turn on the TV at the foot of Pinkie’s bed and I flip through the channels. Though like back in my world daytime TV is terrible. Finding nothing after a few minutes I turn off the TV and lay on Pinkie’s bed and practice my levitation spell on light objects. Really all I am doing at this point is waiting for Pinkie to finish her shower.
“You can come in and brush or whatever… I DO have a curtain you know.” I hear Pinkie yell through the mostly closed bathroom door. She must have heard me trying to find something to watch on her TV. Though I blush at the thought of entering her bathroom with her in the shower. But I get up and open her bathroom door. She does have a curtain for her shower and it is closed. So I enter and I go to her counter. I try out my levitation spell again and I brush my teeth.
“Are you using my toothbrush?” Asks Pinkie after noticing something. I feel my ears perk up and I look down at the toothbrush I am using.
“Oh… Whoops. My bad, you place your toothbrush where I usually would put mine.” I tell her and I almost put her brush down and clean it. But she laughs at me.
“It’s ok. Just rinse it and throw it over to me when you’re done.” She replies kindly.
“Ok.” I reply happily and I resume brushing. When I am finished I rinse it off the best I can. Then I walk over to the closed curtain and float it over the top to Pinkie.
“You’re getting really good at that.” She giggles happily to me. I smile seeing that I didn’t drop it on her head or anything.
“Thank you. I was practicing earlier. The fun one will be learning to fly.” I chuckle happily.
“Well I’m getting out… Soooo…” She comments and she turns her shower off.
“Oh! Ok.” I reply as I blush and I leave her bathroom quickly. I shut the bathroom door and I head to the living room. Soon enough Pinkie leaves her bathroom and happily trots over to me.
“Let’s go!” She says excitedly and opens the front door and heads out. I smile and I follow behind her. But as I step outside for the first time in literally days the sun is quite blinding. Pinkie waits for me to readjust.
“Bright.” I tell her chuckling as my eyes finally adjust.
“Well don’t stare at it then silly.” She replies giggling. I laugh at her comment and I stand next to her. “So you ready?” I ask her as I know I am.
“For what? We are just getting apples from Applejack silly.” She tells me.
“I know, wait who now?”
“You’ll see.” She tells me and she starts walking down the path.
“Alright.” I say to her and I follow along her side. Around us is a nice looking town with wooden buildings. It appears that they are using hay for roofing. I turn around and Pinkie’s small house matches the others design wise. Though most of the houses around are two-story.
We pass by many other ponies as we trot along. Pinkie greets each one of them happily, but they all look at me strangely. Besides the weird expressions on the other pony’s faces I notice something else. Each one of them have a different mark on their sides. I look towards Pinkie and she has a mark of three balloons on her side. So I decide to question her about it.
“Hey Pinkie? What is with those marking on these other pony’s… Thighs?”
“Those are their cutie marks silly. It matches who you are and what you’re good at.” She tells me with a cute smile.
“Oh. Well does everyone have one?” I ask curiously.
“Mostly everypony has one.” She replies and I look at her questionably. “You don’t have one. We gotta change that.” She points out kindly and she nuzzles my shoulder gently. I smile to her and I look back at my thigh. Though all I see is just dark blue.
“Oh. Well I guess I have not found my thing that I’m good at yet.” I comment and I look forward again.
“Maybe you have and haven’t done it yet as a pony.” She suggests softly, probably trying to make me feel better.
“I’ll find out.” I reply smiling and I look to her. “Anyway, how long is it until we get to Apple... jack?” I ask and probably screwing up the name.
“We are here!” She laughs. “What do you think?” In front of us is a small market stand and an orange mare standing behind it. She is wearing a brown cowboy hat and has three apples for a cutie mark. Though she is distracted with another customer at the moment. Her stand is filled with nothing but apples of all kinds.
“Go say hi.” She tells me with a smile and nudges my shoulder with hers.
“Alright alright.” I chuckle and I pat Pinkie’s shoulder. I go to the stand just as the other pony leaves.
“Well howdie. Ya must be the pony Pinkie keeps yammerin’ on bout.” Applejack says to me with a country accent.
“That’s me I guess.” I reply smiling. Then suddenly Pinkie tackles Applejack with a huge hug. I can’t help but laugh.
“Hey Pinkie.” Says applejack after she gets back up. “What do y’all need?”
“We wanted to buy some apples.” I tell Applejack happily and Pinkie lets her friend go.
“A’hm all about apples. Here y’all go.” She says and hoofs gets a large wicker basket and fills it with apples. “An’ hey Pinkie.” Applejack adds and motions Pinkie over. Pinkie leans in and AJ whispers something into her ear. Pinkie laughs at AJ and I wonder what she is telling her.
“Thank you Applejack.” I tell her and Pinkie heads back to me. Then the two of us start to head back.
“Sooo…. What did Applejack have to say?” I ask curiously and happily as I hold the apple basket with magic.
“What do you mean?” Pinkie asks clearly avoiding the question. I chuckle at her and get over it.
“Well whatever it is, it’s fine if you don’t tell me.” I reply happily and I lean gently against her as we walk. I also wrap a wing around her body since I figured out how to control them. Mostly anyway.
“Fiiiiiiiinne I’ll tell you.” She replies and I look at her questionably. Pinkie gets a blush on her face though. “She said that we look cute together… And that we would make an adorable couple.” I blush instantly at her and hers only gets worse.
“So where to now?” I ask trying to change the subject because I can tell she’s a bit uncomfortable.
“You head over to our place. I’ll meet you there in a little bit. I gotta go pick something up at Rarity’s.” She tells me and her blush dies down a bit.
“Ok, see you in a bit Pinkie.” I tell her happily and I nuzzle her cheek. I walk back to our house with the apples in tow.

After an hour of doing absolutely nothing productive at Pinkie’s house, Pinkie walks in through the front door. She has a smile so wide it makes me genuinely confused.
“You ok Pinkie?” I ask and she nods.
“Yes. Now close your eyes.” She tells me with her smile getting bigger somehow. So I do what I am told and I close my eyes. I feel something get placed around my neck and I feel her tying it in place.
“Open.” She giggles excitedly. I slowly open my eyes and Pinkie looks at me with an excited expression. She quickly grabs a mirror and hooves it to me. I look at myself in the mirror and around my neck she tied a golden colored bowtie. It looks absolutely stunning and it is very comfortable compared to others that I have worn.
“It’s for you! I had Rarity make it. What do you think?” She asks excitedly and can barely wait for my answer.
“It’s amazing!” I tell her looking up at her, then I look at the mirror again. “I love it.” I tell her.
“It looks so good on you!” She exclaims and tackles me to the ground in a very tight hug. I hear her giggling to herself and I kiss her on the lips. I hug her even tighter as she starts squeezing me.
Out of nowhere I hear the sound of a jet and the front door slams open. Before either of us can react I am knocked out of Pinkie’s hug and to the floor in a blur of colors. There is a very angry looking pony on top of me with a hoof to my head.
“Who are you and what are you doing to Pinkie!” The mare yells into my face. I am taken so off guard that I protect my face with my arms.
“I wasn’t doing anything I swear!” I protest. Then Pinkie pushes the pony off of me then stands between me and my attacker.
“No no no this is the pony I was telling you about!” Pinkie protests to the other mare.
“You sure?! I swear I’ll beat him up!”
“Yes yes he is!” Pinkie replies.
“You never mentioned a bowtie though!” The mare adds. She is a blue furred mare with wings. She has a rainbow mane and tail.
“I just got that for him from Rarity. Right?” Pinkie asks me and looks at me. I sit up and I nod my head quickly. I scoot closer to Pinkie and observe the angry rainbow colored mare. But with Pinkie’s words the pegasus completely changes attitude and calms down.
“Hi. I’m Rainbow Dash.” She tells me and she sits down. I look up at Pinkie then back to Rainbow.
“Uh, hi.” I reply still pretty scared I got jumped out of nowhere.
“Nice tie.” Rainbow points out but Pinkie gently pushes Rainbow out of the house.
“Thanks for stopping by but it’s late. Sooo byebye.” She tells Rainbow and closes the front door.
I am relieved that Rainbow is gone and I rub my head gently. Pinkie rushes over to me and looks me over closely.
“You have a bruise.” She tells me worriedly.
“It doesn’t hurt that much.” I lie softly.
“I’ll get you some ice.” She tells me and I watch her as she goes into the kitchen. I breathe in deeply and try to calm down after that short encounter with Pinkie’s friend. Pinkie then comes back with a worried look.
“We’re out of ice.” She says sadly. But I smile to her either way.
“It is ok Pinkie. It does not hurt as much as it looks.” I tell her and I nuzzle her nose. She smiles again and kisses me on the lips.
“Ok. But I have to make cupcakes for work tomorrow. Can you please clean up the rest of the cake while I get that started?” She asks me kindly. And of course I agree. So we both head into the kitchen and I see her start her baking process. Which she is pretty fast at moving around her kitchen. So I stay out of the way and I put away the remainder of the cake that has my face on it.

It took quite a long time to clean up the cake. Partly because there is so much of it. And partially because I was cuddling with Pinkie every now and again. But I do get the cake put away when Pinkie finished making cupcakes for tomorrow.
“I’m going to bed. Work at Suger Cube Corner.” Pinkie says softly as she yawns. “Nighty night.”
“Alright. I’ll go to bed too.” I reply and I stretch. Pinkie walks up to me and places both of her hooves on my chest and kisses my lips for a short moment.
“Take a shower silly. Not saying you stink, but take a shower.” She tells me softly and she nuzzles my cheek.
“Okay.” I reply and I pet her cheek softly. Then she lets me go and she hops in bed. I on the other hand walk into the bathroom and start my shower. Though I like hot showers and when I get in I have to add cold water because I made it way to hot.
As I take my shower I can hear Pinkie sleeping in the other room and I chuckle quietly. But halfway through my shower the bathroom door opens. A half asleep Pinkie wanders in and goes to the sink. She takes a drink of the tap water, then heads back to bed. Though while Pinkie was in the bathroom I completely froze and I didn't know what to do.
I finish up my shower and get out of the shower. I dry myself off with one of Pinkie’s towels and I head into the bedroom. Pinkie is asleep sprawled out on the bed and on top of the blankets. Her mane is covering most of her face and a drop of drool is sliding down the side of her chin as she snores softly. I chuckle quietly at her and think she is adorable. Though how she is laying on the bed looks like it would be hard to sleep next to her without disturbing her.
But I try anyway and I sit down on the bed softly. Her ears twitch a little in her sleep, but not much else. I slowly lay down on my back, though I end up laying on one of her arms because of how sprawled out she is. I relax myself as the two of us lay there on top of her covers. The calm sound of her slumber starts to take effect on me and I let out a yawn.
Then Pinkie’s arm that I am laying on twitches a little and she rolls over facing me. Her other arm lazily drapes over my chest and slowly pulls me towards her. Soon enough she has me in a hug and I can’t get out of it. But I don’t mind at all and I hug her back and close my eyes. Though I feel her drool on my shoulder and I can’t help but chuckle. I tilt my head up to gently kiss her forehead goodnight. When I do she giggles quietly in her sleep and snuggles into me. Her cuteness warms my heart as I feel her breaths against my neck. I soon fall asleep from the warmth radiating off of her body.
