Band's Birthday Is Coming Up
Fluttershy wakes up in her bed looking at the ceiling as she yawns. She sits up and stretches her arms in front of her. Then, the sound of someone breathing with their mouth open comes from her left. She looks and sees Band still asleep with his mouth agape and drooling. He looks adorable, and funny this way. He never snores, not that Fluttershy minds, but he breathes through his mouth every night with his right arm over his forehead and eyes.
Fluttershy giggles quietly, somehow waking up Band, because he moves his arm showing one of his brown eyes to her, "Hey, Bubblegum."
"Hey, Band Berry," She replies.
Band grunts as he sits up and wipes the drool off his lip while he fixes his matted hair. Once he does so, he sighs and looks back to Fluttershy. They share a moment of silence looking at each other's eyes lovingly. Then, Band's demeanor turns from happy to disappointed, "I got work, today."
"Yeah," Fluttershy answers, feeling like a rock sinks into her stomach, "I know."
"Do you want any tea made before I go? I can make you some while I make my coffee."
"Sure."
Band uncovers himself and walks over to his clothes as Fluttershy looks to her phone on her right. She sees no notifications and looks back to Band. Then her face becomes flushed as her eyes are drawn to the big long member that hangs between his legs.
She wasn't embarrassed, only just... filled by a strong urge.
The previous night, Band and her had snuggled in front of the TV watching all kinds of movies. Some horror, some romance, and (of course for band) some action. After they had done that while sipping hot cocoa, Fluttershy was feeling especially frisky after watching a romance movie's very intimate scene. She lead Band to the bedroom playfully with a hand where they spent the rest of their time awake making love. Fluttershy remembers how he felt last night. It was amazing, exciting even. She loves every second that she spends of their close-time together.
She realizes she's staring, but can't stop. Luckily, Band doesn't notice and pulls his boxer briefs up, along with his pants, and slips on his white T-shirt. He looks up to Fluttershy's blushing face and asks a little nervous, but chuckles, "Are you alright?"
She snaps back to reality. She notices her jaw is slacked slightly and shuts it.
"Yeah," She replies, "I just enjoyed last night."
Band's demeanor obviously turns to admiration and care, as his lips slowly turn up at the ends into a smile.
"I enjoyed it, too," He admits lovingly, "I'm gonna make the tea and coffee."
"Kay," Fluttershy says as he walks out of the room, grabbing his blue hoodie as he goes.
Just then, Fluttershy's phone buzzes causing the pony's ears to perk up, so she gets out of bed, gets dressed, and grabs her phone. She swipes to unlock it with her finger and sees a message on the screen saying:
Calendar Event for Today: Band's birthday is coming up.
Fluttershy's eyes widen at the word "birthday". She had forgotten about his birthday. Band was going to be 19 soon, and she still hasn't thought of something to get him.
Suddenly, Band's phone, still left on his nightstand, begins to ring with vibration. Out of habit, Fluttershy looks to the caller ID and sees: Vinyl Scratch.
Knowing that Band was presently preoccupied (and curiosity getting the better of her), she swipes to answer and holds the phone to her right ear.
"Hey, Band," Vinyl says in a chilled tone.
"Actually, this is Fluttershy," Fluttershy answers almost regrettably.
"Oh, that's fine. Is Band there?"
Fluttershy becomes suspicious and asks softly, "What do you need? If you don't mind me asking."
"I just want to ask him what he wants for his birthday."
Fluttershy then feels the stone sink in her again, "I need to find him a gift, too."
"Really?" Vinyl says surprised, "Aren't you his girlfriend and whatever?"
Fluttershy becomes silent.
"Sorry, I'm not helping. Just, can you put him on the phone?"
"Well, I wanted some ideas from you of what he might want."
"Oh," The line's silent for a moment, "Well, I know he likes computers."
"Yeah, I know," She says almost snapping, annoyed already. She has recently been known to be easily able to express her impatience, "but I want to get him something special."
"Like what?"
Fluttershy takes a moment to think. During that time, she's quiet. Then, she gets it.
"Can I tell you something without you telling any other person else?"
Vinyl's silent for a moment, "Yeah, what is it?"
"Okay... I want to get him something..." Her voice trails off mid sentence.
"Something..." Vinyl helps her through the sentence.
"Something for bed fun," Fluttershy squeaks. The line is silent for another time.
Then Vinyl asks as if to make sure she heard her right, "W-What?"
Fluttershy sighs, "I want to give him something... sexual."
"..."
"Do you have any ideas?"
Vinyl giggles nervously, "Well, I don't really know."
Frustrated now, Fluttershy explains, "I know you have your own 'kinks' as well as Band. So I'm asking." She pauses, "I'm sure you've both had fun together."
Vinyl hesitates, "Can I come over after Band leaves so we can talk then?"
Fluttershy hears the front door open and shut, so her tensed neck softens, she feels her anxiety lower, and she sighs, "Yeah, he's left."
"Okay, then I'm on my way. See ya'."
"Kay, bye."
"Beep."

After a while of sitting on her porch, peacefully sipping her tea and petting angel, Fluttershy's ears pick up a strangely deep and loud sound. Angel hears it, too, and jumps off her lap to get away. Fluttershy sighs, disappointed. Soon enough, a blue and white car, with sub-woofers where the trunk would be, pulls through the trail and parks in front of the cottage. Fluttershy can easily guess that this is Vinyl's car and stands up to walk to the driver side window.
The dark tinted window rolls down and Fluttershy sees Vinyl sitting there blasting the same music from outside, but louder from inside.
"Coo... Ooo... Urn... It... Own... Bees...," Vinyl heard Fluttershy say over the blaring sound. Vinyl turns off the music and asks what Fluttershy said.
"I asked if you could turn it down, please?" Fluttershy answers.
"Oh, sorry. Let me get out," Vinyl turns off the engine, takes her keys from the ignition, and opens her door. Fluttershy steps back for her.
Fluttershy goes to sit down with her tea on a bench on the porch and Angel hops back on her lap. Vinyl looks at her and Fluttershy waves her over.
Once Vinyl sits down next to Fluttershy, she thinks, "She seems so quiet and gentle with nature. Completely opposite from me."
"Sorry, I couldn't get you tea, as well. Band only makes me a cup."
"Oh, it's alright. I was just thinking about things."
"Like what?" Fluttershy asks.
"Well, stuff. Ya' know?"
"Hmm?" Fluttershy asks again.
"Like how you and I are different."
Fluttershy shifts cross-legged, as this is interesting to her, "What do you mean?"
"Well, first of all, you love nature, whereas I love sound, music, and anything in that spectrum."
Flutterhsy nods, "Yeah, we are different."
"I just have one question I ask myself every morning for that."
"And what's that?"
"Why such a big change?"
They're silent for a moment. Then, Vinyl sheds a tear. Fluttershy comforts her with a hug and says, "Maybe Band just wanted something...Well, gentler."
"Sometimes he comes back to me... Like last unicorn mating season."
Fluttershy remembers. She'd was dealing with the Hoof Fields and McColts with Twilight and she'd left Band alone during his hardest time, so she let him go over to Vinyl's for some intimate time. Vinyl still doesn't know the real reason why Band came over, but Fluttershy thinks that this isn't the right time to bring it up.
"Yeah," Fluttershy agrees.
"But, let's get to why I came over..," Vinyl wipes off her tear, and Fluttershy lets off the hug, "You wanted help to get Band something very special," She jokes.
Fluttershy giggles and blushes at Vinyl's suggestive emphasis on the word "very" and agrees with a nod.
"Well," Vinyl begins, "I thought of one idea, but I don't know if you'll do it."
"Anything," Fluttershy assures, "Anything for Band."
"I was thinking you could dress yourself up to look... Well, seeing as Band had fun with me... A little like me."
Fluttershy is confused by the idea, "What do you mean? How would I do that?"
"Like a... Erm... For the lack of a better word, 'makeover'."
Vinyl is definitely using a new word for Fluttershy. Fluttershy doesn't really know what a 'makeover' is, so she asks, "What's a makeover? Is that when you make something up again?"
"Um, no. It has to do with makeup, painted nails, and a haircut, but I think we would just give you a haircut."
Fluttershy's pupils shrink, "Haircut?" Fluttershy loves her long smooth hair.
"I knew you might have a problem with that, but... Do you have any better gifts. For Band, it'd be like being with both of us, but it'd be just you."
Fluttershy thinks over the idea, Band might actually like this, but she'll lose most of her hair...
Then, Fluttershy answers, "Anything for Band."
Vinyl smiles, "Okay."
"How's that?" Vinyl asks holding up a mirror to Fluttershy. It's the night of Band's birthday, and Vinyl has just finished Fluttershy's "makeover".
Fluttershy looks into the mirror and takes in her reflection. It seems a little trashy, in her opinion. Her hair seems to spike in a straight way while seeming to have split ends, "Why does my hair have split ends?"
"Don't worry. It just looks like you have split ends. It'll go away as the hair grows out overtime." Fluttershy's hair looks frizzed a little and her clothes are Vinyl's, and they actually look good on her.
Vinyl's eighth note T-Shirt (with cut holes for Fluttershy's wings) seems to emphasize on the size and cleavage of Fluttershy's breasts. Her jeans, which are also Vinyl's, complement her curvy and voluptuous rear with her pink tail poking out of a hole in the back above her butt. She actually... looks HOT.
"I should wear jeans more often," Fluttershy thinks to herself. She looks up to Vinyl, who seems to be admiring her own work.
"I gave you my lucky sneakers," She says, "They should help with tonight."
"Oh, thank you."
"Now, Band likes a little of playful banter from me."
"What do you mean?"
"I mean, like, you could try acting a little like me. He might like that."
"Really?" Fluttershy asks honestly.
"Yeah, try thinking of something on your own."
"Okay," Fluttershy takes a hand to her chin as she thinks. Then, she says seductively, as if she is speaking to her lover, " Hey, Sweetie."
Vinyl face-palms, "No, no, no, no. I mean like try 'Hey there, playboy'."
"Really? 'Playboy'?" Fluttershy mocks with a childish giggle.
"Come on," Vinyl hurries.
"Okay, okay," Fluttershy says. She breathes in, and out, and says slightly nervous, "Hey there, p-playboy."
"Relax."
"Hey there, playboy," Fluttershy finally says, perfectly seductive, with a wink and wave of her tail. Vinyl sees her as an almost exact reflection of her own self.
"Damn," Vinyl chuckles, "You really took to character that time."
Fluttershy breaks her distant seductive stare and breaks character with a nervous giggle, "Y-Yeah, sorry."
"No, that's perfect," Vinyl assures, "Do it just like that right when he walks through the door. The whole getup and the killer line is sure to catch him off guard."
Fluttershy takes a moment to picture Band's surprised face and smiles with a blush.

After a hard day of filing notes and letters at the post office, Band drives up to the empty driveway and shuts off the car, taking out the keys after doing so. He looks to his right where his and Fluttershy's cottage lays. Then, something strikes Band as odd: Every light in the house is off except for a few candles in the living room windows.
Even with the candle light Band cannot see inside from within his car, so he steps out of the vehicle and treads over to the front door, still curious. All day and now, he has forgotten today is his birthday. It'd been a long hard-working day.
Band takes his keys, sticks the home key into the door lock, and twists to unlock. He hears muffled shuffling from behind the door. Then, the sound of furniture squeaking across wooden flooring. He puts the keys into his pocket and hesitantly opens the door a crack.
He stands there still, listening for a moment. Now, a familiar voice somehow catches him as even more odd.
"You going to open it, playboy?"
Out of the absurdity, Band furrows his brow, meaning, "What the buck?" and opens the door all the way.
Now, he sees the owner of that familiar voice. It's Fluttershy, and she wears an eighth note T-Shirt, tight worn jeans, with black and white sneakers. But that isn't the most absurd of the display. Her hair and tail are frayed, her wings a little fluffy, but for some reason Band was turned on by the whole presentation. The words she said; the way she looks: All makes him somehow want her more.
Fluttershy is oblivious to Band's train of thought and is nervously waiting for a reaction. Not sure of what he thinks of her.
"Does he like it?" She thinks to herself, "He's just wearing that face he makes when working on a puzzle."
Then, Band's face softens and a caring smile grows across it. He shuts the door behind him and walks towards her, grabbing her into a warm embrace.
Fluttershy gives in to his warm hug and hums a short quiet tone. She closes her eyes and, since her height is up to his chest, she takes in her lover's scent. Breathing in deeply.
"I forgot it was my birthday," Band admits in a whisper. Fluttershy reopens her eyes and looks up at him.
"You did?" She asks.
"Yeah," He pecks a kiss on her forehead, "but why this for me?"
"Erm... Vinyl came up with it," She explains, "She thought you might think I'm sexy. What do you think?"
Band looks at his little lover's jagged pink hair over her right eye and admires it for a moment. Then says, "It certainly is new."
"And...," She stops and lets a swish of her tail tell Band what she wants to do tonight.
Obviously, Band picks up on it. For he picks her up off the floor and looks into her eyes.
"I love you, Bubblegum" He says.
"I love you, too, Band Berry."
They share a deep kiss.
