The sad tale of Roxanne Octavia Pie. Chapter one: rememberence. By: Storiesatrandom. Octavia is Equestia's well renown player of the cello. But, her history and family is remarkably unknown. Not even to her Marefriend of conflicting tastes, Vinyl Scratch. Octavia has long kept a powerful and horrendously dark secret from all, but Princess Celestia for some reason. Octavia has held the great secret, that she is Roxanne "Inky" Pie, lost sister of Pinkie Pie. Octavia would do a good job holding on to this secret, but as of late, a conbinsation with Vinyl has unintentionally unearthed this secret, and other things not meant to be heard. This is that story. Vinyl stood in front of Octavia, flabbergasted of what she heard from Octavia, who she is covering her mouth of what she had reveled. Octavia was looking around, desperate for an exquse. Vinyl said: "Tavi, are you saying that, your Pinkie Pie's sister? THE element of laughter and all around awesome and fun pony in Equestia, possably the world?" Octavia hoped Vinyl's tendingcy to forget quickly would be the result instead, but, tis be for nought. Octavia sighed. Octavia said: "Yes. What you have heard is true. The one called Pinkie Pie is of blood and gene relation… but, a few horrorable events happen and, I turned on her." Vinyl said: "What happened, Octi?" Octavia began to tear. Remembering her sins, the loss of her family… and, him. Vinyl comforted Octavia. Vinyl said: "Oh, don't cry babe. What went down?" Octavia cried. Octavia said: "Twas all my fault. I let my anger and sorrow for the death of our parents and little sister, I…." Vinyl was wide-eyed. Octavia halted by the sight, but snapped out of it. Octavia said: "Perhaps, I owe an explanation." In the past. It was late at night at the pie cottage. Young Pinkie Pie, Roxanne, and Sherrie were asleep in their beds. There was a scratching noise. Pinkie woke up. Pinkie became nervous of the continuious sounds! The scratching continued. Pinkie turned to Roxanne and wispered: "Roxanne. Psst, Roxanne." Roxanne woke up. Roxanne said: "Huh? Pinkie? What do you want?" Pinkie said: "I think there's a monster in the room." Roxanne shivered. Roxanne said: "Monster? Like a ghost?" Pinkie said: "Or a snake." Sherrie awoke from the chatter. Sherrie said: "What's going on?" Roxanne said: "Pinkie think there's a snake in the room." Sherrie yelped: "SNAKE?" Pinkie said: "Or some other scary thing!" Roxanne said: "Like a ghost!" Pinkie said: "Whatever it is, it probably has sharp claws!" Sherrie said: "And fangs!" Roxanne wimpered: "And it's waiting for us under the bed right now!" The lights turned on, to revel Clyde, their father. He said: "What's going on her girls?" Pinkie, Roxanne, and Sherrie screamed! Clyde said: "Easy, girls, easy! How what's the matter?" Pinkie said: "There's a monster in the room with scary fangs and claws and it's gonna eat us!" Clyde took a look at the shadows, and made a small brief laugh. Clyde said: "A monster? (Laughs) Girls, this isn't a monster. It's the light coming from the window." Pinkie said: "But, we heard scratching!" Clyde said: "That's just some branch against the windows. Remember what your Granny Pie told you? If something like this is scaring you, you should just laugh." Pinkie Said, confused: "Laugh?" Clyde said: "Yes, laugh. Things are the scariest when you don't know exactly what they are. Many times, when you find out what was scaring you, it's something so silly you can't help but to laugh. If you laugh first you can skip right over being scared and find out what really frightened you." Clyde walked over to his little girls with a comident grin, knowing he handled the problem well. Clyde said: "Do you think you girls can get to sleep now?" Roxanne whined: "But we're not sleepy!" Sherrie followed the exsample: "Tell us a story!" Clyde said: "Girls, it's too late for a story. Maybe tomorrow night." Pinkie Said, fluttering her eyes: "Please daddy?" Clyde just gave up. He might as well go with the program. Clyde said: "Oh alright. I'll tell you the story of the Pie farm." Suddenly in the present. Vinyl said: "No disrespect Octi, but, how's about we go back to the story?" Octavia said: "Alcourse, forgive, I apologise." Back to the past. Sherrie and Roxanne were walking with Pinkie Pie. Pinkie said: "Over here, girls! The mine I found is over here!" Roxanne said: "Pinkie, we were told time and time again that it'll be dangerious to go in the old mines." Pinkie said: "Pfft, I been here a bunch a times alone before! There's this map I found in the abandon mine apartments. You just need to trust me." Roxanne was spectical, Pinkie Pie tends to be, extreme ever since she has gotten her cutiemark. Bizzare things appear from nowhere when she goes somewhere. Pinkie said: "WE'RE HERE!" There it was, the mine. They been told that back then, the pie family used to mine this mine for generations, before the gold ran out. There are also some jewels in a jewel mine part of it, but a tribe of Diamond Dogs took over that part of the mine. Roxanne was surely very cautious about this, concerned and fully aware of the series dangers of an abandon mine. Pinkie walked up and said: "Who's first?" Roxanne said: "Pinkie, I don't think it is such a good idea to go in there." Sherrie said: "Don't be a chicken, Roxanne! Pinkie said it'll be fun!" Pinkie said: "Yeah! Like I said before, I been here a bunch of times before!" Roxanne said: "(Sigh), Fine. But let's remember to be careful, and to be home by supper." Pinkie and Sherrie cheered and rushed in the mine! Roxanne persue them! The mine looked old and crumbled. Pinkie said: "The miner apartments shouldn't be far." Roxanne was careful and cautious, the warnings from her parents about the mines shouldn't have been for naught, and was against the idea of venturing into this place. Irreguardless, she trusts her sisters and hopes this will pass quickly with no snags. Pinkie went ahead, torwords a tunnal heading left. Sherrie and Roxanne followed! They found the apartments area. Pinkie said: "This way, come on!" Pinkie ran off! Her sisters followed! Pinkie ran in to a shack Sherrie and Roxanne followed. Pinkie holds a map. Pinkie said: "Ladies, may I present, the ol' relieable map!" The map was simple, but to inexspearienced fillies that wasn't Pinkie, who visited the mine countless times before, it was awfully confusing. Pinkie said: "Just let me handle everything." Roxanne was strongly spectical. She has no doubts on Pinkie Pie's claims, but, she is still concern about this. Pinkie Pie trotted on with a comident smile and a brace expression! Sherrie was similar with this emotion of Pinkie. Roxanne finally ponied up, and embraced this hopefully trouble free adventure. Later. The young fillies are seen riding down in an old cart, cheering as they were seen riding across the still stable tracks. Roxanne shouted: "THIS IS MAGNIFISENT, PINKIE!" Pinkie said: "CAN'T HEAR YOU, TOO EXCITED!" Later. Pinkie Pie was seen making faces behind some cristails, which in turn, reflects the reflections to bizzare and funny faces. It was an amusement to Roxanne and Sherrie. Later. Pinkie Pie was holding out mashmellows over a pool of lava. Pinkie said: "A few more minutes and s'mores will be ready!" Roxanne said: "I still find it confusing on how Pinkie found Mashmellows in a place like this!" Sherrie only nodded in agreement. Later. Pinkie was knocking on the door with the sign that saids "Dogs only". The Diamond Dog at the door almost couldn't handle it anymore. He said: "PLEASE STOP! I TOLD YOU NO SLITISTERS! DOGS ONLY YOU CRAZY MINITURE HORSES!" Pinkie Pie said: "COME ON! We just wanna play!" Roxanne said: "Pinkie, I don't think we should aggerbaite the dogs anymore." Sherrie said: "Yeah, I think they clearly don't want us to join their club." Pinkie sighed: "Aw, and we didn't even get to see what their hiding!" Roxanne said: "Pinkie, we can still have fun exploring the mines. Now, let's do this Diamond Dog a huge favor and leave him alone." Later. The cart slammed into the broken tracks, and flipped as the girls scream! It fell into the water! SPLASH! The little fillies scream as they were dragged by the surf! Roxanne screamed: "PINKIE!" Pinkie struggled to stay aflout, having lost her poofy mane and the map! Roxanne had the strench to keep Sherrie up, for Sherrie was a terrible swimmer! The girls go through a complex series of twists and turns as they were in the mercy of the river! They finally reached shore in an unknown part of the mind (at least because they no longer have the map.) The fillies washed up onto it. Pinkie quickly got up, embaressed and scared she didn't see this coming. Roxanne laid with Sherrie to comfort her frighten sister. then she glared at Pinkie for this travesty. Somehow, she knew something like this was gonna happened. Roxanne now holds it against Pinkie Pie to a greater level she never felt in her life. Pinkie looked at her sisters, and knew Roxanne is not happy. Later. They haven't talked in awhile, Sherrie was the only one talking, but she failed to get a convinsation out of the girls. They were lost, and in somewhere in a geyser field to rest. Pinkie said: "I'm so hungry." Roxanne said, annoyed: "Pinkie, none of us has eaten since yesterday. We're all hungry." Pinkie said: "I still wish I had a cupcake." Roxanne had to be strong for her sisters. Sherrie was too young and Pinkie was alittle incomident without the map, so she had to take over. Roxanne was the wisest, even though she wasn't the first born, but with Pinkie's mental incapability and Sherrie being younger, she had to get them out of here. Roxanne said: "Come on, let's keep looking for a way out." Unbeknownce to them, Sherrie was drinking water from a geyser, and in a few seconds, she spits it out for the bad taste! Pinkie said: "Do you think Mom and Dad are warned, or at least, aware we're gone?" Roxanne said: "They would've by now. It's seriously pass supper time." Sherrie noticed her sisters leaving! Sherrie said: "HEY, WAIT UP!" Enither of them noticed that there was a broken barroll of toxic poisons, with a mark of a green colored sick Diamond Dog, possably rat poison. They have really big rats down here. In the tunnals. Pinkie said: "I think we should go this way." Roxanne said: "Nope. Your wrong. We should go this way." Pinkie said: "Why in the world would we follow you?" Roxanne said: "Well, last time I followed you, I somehow got lost in a mine!" Pinkie said: "How is getting lost my fault?" Roxanne said: "You lost the map!" Pinkie reared up! Pinkie said: "Sorry if I was trying not to drown!" Roxanne reared up as well: "Maybe you should've." Pinkie said: "Then you would've lost a sister!" Roxanne said: "Trust me, it'll be tragic, and there will be a barial, but at least the map would've gotten me and Sherrie out of here to tell mom and dad you were lost!" Pinkie said: "Funny, you don't sound sad about it!" Roxanne said: "BECAUSE THE ALTERNATIVE HAPPENED THAT THE MAP WAS THE CASUALTY!" Pinkie said: "Roxanne, as your older sister by one year ahead, I ask that you treat me nice!" Roxanne said: "TREAT YOU NICE? After you got us lost and almost drown, you lost my respect as a sister!" A voice said: "Girls? Girls? GIRLS!" Clyde appeared and runs up to the filles. Clyde said: "Thank Celestia I found you!" Roxanne and Pinkie ran up happy! Roxanne and Pinkie shouted: "DADDY!" Clyde said: "Why didn't you come back home?" Roxanne and Pinkie shouted: "We got lost!" Roxanne and Pinkie hugged. Pinkie asked: "Did you bring anything to eat?" Roxanne sighed annoyed by her sister's noncalent behavior. Clyde said: "No, but as soon as we get home, we'll get some dinner. Where's your sister?" Roxanne said: "She's right here- (sees Sherrie lying on the ground.) Sherrie?" Pinkie said: "Sherrie, now's not the time for bed!" Clyde said: "Sherrie, what's wrong?" Sherrie said, weakly: "My stomach really hurts." Clyde said: "Let's get out of here then!" A huge crack was heard! A lot of bats rapidly flew out of the cave! Clyde frowned, knowing what that means! Clyde said: "Girls, this is bad, follow the bats outside!" Roxanne and Pinkie said: "Why?" Clyde said: "The mine is collapsing! I'll carry Sherrie, but you two have to run." Roxanne said: "But daddy-" Clyde said: "NOW!" Roxanne and Pinkie made a run for it! Clyde followed! Sherrie tried to hold, but she was too weak to get a good grip, and fell! Clyde slid to a halt and sees Sherrie fell off! Pinkie and Roxanne already made it out but Clyde! The mine was falling apart! Clyde made it to Sherrie, but the dibrey was already apawn them! Before Clyde could react- CRASH! BOOM! Pinkie and Roxanne made it outside, but see the mine crumbling apart, completely obliterated! And there was no Clyde or Sherrie in sight! Roxanne and Pinkie screamed: "DAD! SHERRIE!" Roxanne and Pinkie dropped and cried. Their father and sister, lost. In the present. Vinyl, was at a lost for words. Vinyl said: "Wow, that's, real heavy stuff, Octi." Octavia said: "That was not what made me turn on Pinkie Pie, in fact, our, bond was stronger that day. We promised each other , in honor of their memory, that we always stick togather. Roxanne desided that, since that fateful day, to give Pinkie another chance. She is all she has left as a sister, and family, other then their mother. Roxanne said: "Pinkie, Dinner is ready." Pinkie said: "Ok…. So, did you watch her the whole time?" Roxanne nodded, saying: "Yeah, Mom didn't eat anything again. We need to do it tonight." Later, at the dinner table. Pinkie, Roxanne, and Mother Pie were at the table. Mother Pie noticed her children weren't eating. Mother Pie said: "Girls, what's wrong? Why aren't you eating?" Pinkie said: "Your not eating enither." Mother Pie said: "I had something earlier." Roxanne slammed the table! Roxanne shouted: "LIER!" Mother Pie said: "Roxanne!" Roxanne said: "Well you are! We watched you! You haven't eaten at all today, you haven't for days" Mother Pie turned to Pinkie Pie. Mother Pie said: "Pinkimenia, is this true? Have you two been spying on me?" Pinkie said: "Yes. You've been acting strange. You don't eat and get angry. We're scared. So if you don't eat, we won't either." Mother Pie sighed. Mother Pie said: "I am sorry for worring you, I haven't been the same since your father and Sherrie was lost to us, but you still have your lives ahead of you and must eat to grow up. I lived my life, and don't care if I eat at all or not. Do you understand me?" Pinkie said: "Yes mom." Roxanne shouted: "PINKIE DON'T!" Mother Pie said: "Roxanne, don't make me tell you again, eat!" Roxanne said: "Not until you do!" Mother Pie rose up and shouted: "If you don't want to eat, then go to your room!" Roxanne pounded the table in anger and stormed off. Roxanne shouted: "FINE!" Later. Pinkie said: "Roxanne, I'm sorry I couldn't defy mother more." Roxanne said: "It's ok, I understand her reasons, but she can't punish herself just so she can help us grow and survive. Maybe it's a phase she is going through, maybe if we persist enough, we could in thory snap her out of it and she'll eat again." Pinkie said: "Hope so, mommy is getting scary skinny, I could see her ripcage." Roxanne said: "That's why we can't let her continue th-" CRASH! TRUMP! Pinkie and Roxanne shouted: "MOMMY!" They rushed and Pinkie picked her up while Roxanne cleaned up. Mother Pie said: "I…. I'm feeling a little dizzy and tired. Help me to bed, so I can lie down for a little bit." Later. Pinkie and Roxanne were at the ends of the bed. They are both worried of the weaken mare in bed, breathing heavly. Pinkie said: "I think we should get a doctor." Roxanne said: "We would never make it in the snow." Pinkie said: "Then what do we do?" Roxanne said: "We should make mom eat when she wakes up. I'm going to make something." Roxanne walked off. Pinkie laid apawn the corner of the bed and softly cried to herself. She heard a voice. It said: "Pinkiamena, Pinkimenia, don't cry dear." Pinkie looked up, a small smile present. Mother Pie, eyes barely opened, weak smile on her face, said: "Dear, I don't think I am long for this world. I am sorry for my self neglect. I want you to know that I love you and Roxanne very much." Pinkie rosed up concerned. Pinkie said: "Mom, what's wrong?" Mother Pie said: "I'm, going to be part of natertrol part of life now, before I go… Promise me, you'll look after eachother." Mother Pie closed her eyes. She became extendingly silent. Pinkie feared the worse. Pinkie climbed on moved the body a lot of times. Pinkie screamed: "MOMMY NO! DON'T GO! DON'T GO! DON'T LEAVE US!" Pinkie fell off the bed and started to cry histarically! Roxanne saw the whole thing from the front door. Roxanne teared. How could have this happened to her… Roxanne sadly walked away, torwords her room. Later. Roxanne was at her room, packing up her things, now donning an angered and betrayed expressioned, Pinkie, with her sad mode mane now, walked torwords Roxanne. Pinkie said: "Roxanne, mom…. Mom is…" Roxanne shouted: "I know." Pinkie said: "Then, why are you packing up? It's too late to get help." Roxanne turned around with a totally pissed off expression! Pinkie step back. Roxanne said: "I'm leaving, going far away and never coming back!" Pinkie stands in the way of the only exit! Pinkie said: "Roxanne, why?" Roxanne said: "Pinkie, get out of the way!" Pinkie said: "Don't leave, (tearing) I need you." Roxanne said: "I don't give a fuck, now move!" Pinkie said: "Roxanne, please, we have to take care of eachother, like mom wanted!" Roxanne said: "I said, (Punches Pinkie) GET OUT OF MY BUCKING WAY!" Pinkie laid there, in pain on her eye. Roxanne approached angerly, hate and dispisment torwords poor pinkie pie letting out voliently! Roxanne said: "You want to know why I'm leaving? It's because of you! Everypony is gone because of you!" Roxanne began to punch Pinkie as she continued: "YOU MADE US GO INTO THE MINE! YOU CRASHED THE CART AND GOT US LOST! YOU DIDN'T NOTICED WHEN SHERRIE GOT SICK! DAD WOULDN'VE DIED IF YOU WENT BACK TO GET HER, AND, (TEARS PRESENT) AND MOM DIDN'T EAT BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T WORK WITH ME! THEY'RE ALL DIED BECAUSE OF YOU! I HATE YOU, AND I NEVER WANT TO SEE YOU AGAIN!" Roxanne stopped. What was left is a pitiful and bloody sight that is Pinkie Pie. Roxanne wanted to finished her off, but, she can't help to feel a powerful force is watching apawn her, like her immortal soul is being judged. But also, she realizes that, this is the last of her family. If she kills Pinkie, she'll be all alone. Roxanne softly sobbed. Roxanne said: "Your lucky your still family, sis…. Even though you murdered ours. Good bye for good, Pinkie." Roxanne walked out. Pinkie softly cried, unable to get up and reason with her troubled sister. Outside. Roxanne stormed out of the house, and headed for the woods. High in the sky, the event, was viewed apawn by Celestia and Philomena. Celestia said: "This one is troubled, Philomena. Watch over her, I must attend to the element of laughter. I know a family perfect enough to care for Pinkie Pie." Philomena nodded and flew off. In the present. Vinyl said: "Wait, how did you know Celestia was watching you?" Octavia said: "Another story that'll be reveled, in good time. cause, tomorrow, I intend on finally facing Pinkie… that is, if she'll even recinnised me, and if so, if she'll still like me."
