Long after leaving Twilight and Ponyville to live his life; Spike travels everywhere as a jack-of-all-trades due to his extensive knowledge and experiences with Twilight. The latest job has him going to a mountain where it is winter year round to investigate the phenomenon. There he finds a village of earth ponies closed off to all, and ignorant of the outside. Upon arriving strange things keep happening around the community, and Spike might be the only one to figure out why.
