Hidden Darkness and Silent

Shifter

Previous Chapter

The day after Typhoid lost his virginity, Hidden Darkness was in his lab, staring at the screen with the trackers on them. Almost all of his creations had been recovered, all but one: Shifter.

He's to weak willed to live up there for too long, Hidden Darkness thought. I hope that the government hasn't found him. Although they shouldn't have. Although...now I could go anywhere. They've all been found. He turned around and saw Luna walking towards him.

"Have you checked the time recently?" Luna asked. Hidden Darkness shook his head.

"I've been a little busy with trying to find Shifter," Hidden Darkness said. "Have I missed the first class again?" Luna nodded.

"Cheerilee had to sub for you, so come on, we need to go back up," she said. "Speaking of Cheerilee, I think she has a little crush on you." Hidden Darkness laughed.

"Yeah, I'm not going out with her," he said. "Sorry, but I'm not interested in her."

"Does that mean -" Luna started.

"No, I'm not going to go out with you either," Hidden Darkness said. "Not until I can trust you a little more." He pushed the button for the elevator, and it let them in.

"Really?" Luna deadpanned. "I got you out of the asylum." She pressed the button for Celestia's office.

"Which you put me in," Hidden Darkness said.

"I helped you get Inkwell and Toxicon back in their cells," Luna said.

"That's true," Hidden Darkness said. "You did have to have sex with Toxicon." Luna blushed.

"Ugh, don't remind me," she said. "That was disgusting."

"But did it feel good?" Hidden Darkness asked. Luna signed and blushed.

"Yes," she said. "Not as good as you, but yes."

"Of course it didn't," Hidden Darkness said. "I believe you peed on me during our first time." Luna blushed.

"Again, I'm sorry about that," Luna said. Finally the door opened and let them out. Celestia looked at them.

"Good, you're here!" she said.

"Yes, I'm sorry I forgot the check the time," Hidden Darkness said.

"Yeah, yeah, that doesn't matter right now," Celestia said. "But Shifter just showed up!"

"Ok, good," Hidden Darkness said. "Where has he been? And where is he now?"

"He's hidden in your classroom," Celestia said. "I believe the closet that Typhoid hid in yesterday."

"Really?" Hidden Darkness asked. "Isn't Cheerilee teaching my class now?"

"Yes," Celestia said. Then she grinned. "Speaking of which, I think she has a crush on you!" Hidden Darkness groaned.

"Yeah, so I've heard," he said. "Now, on to important things: What do we make next?" Celestia frowned.

"What do you mean, what do we make next?" she asked.

"Exactly that," Hidden Darkness said. "What kind of genetic anomaly do we make next?" Luna grinned.

"Well, I wouldn't mind if you gave me a genetic anomaly," Luna said. Celestia blushed and Hidden Darkness frowned.

"As in you want me to get you pregnant or you want me to make someone and give it to you?" Hidden Darkness asked.

"Pregnant," Luna said. "Although, we do need a female anomaly. Am I the only one who's ever wondered why we don't have one?"

"Well, can you imagen a female Toxicon?" Hidden Darkness asked. "Besides, it's easier to make a male."

"Ok, you have a god point," Luna said. "I can't imagen any of the anomalies as females. But we should make a female anomaly." Hidden Darkness nodded.

"We should," he said. "But what should she be like?"

"Like a fish!" Celestia said. "You know, like a mermaid or siren, but without the tail." Hidden Darkness nodded.

"That actually sounds good," he said. "But before anything starts on her getting created, I am going to need some genetic material."

"I'll do it, I guess," Celestia said.

"Really?" Hidden Darkness said. "You want to be the mother of a fish person?" Celestia shrugged.

"Why not?" she said. "Who's going to be the father?" Hidden Darkness shrugged.

"Probably me or Silent," he said. "Now, the next class is going to start relatively soon, so I should probably get to class. We will talk later, and I should have more ideas about this fish girl."

When Hidden Darkness arrived at his classroom, Cheerilee was just finishing up the class.

"And that's why you don't do drugs!" she said. "At least until after you're 25. That's when your brain is completely developed." The bell rang, and everybody started packing up.

"Hello, Cheerilee," Hidden Darkness said. Cheerilee's eyes seemed to change as she saw him.

Oh, she's defiently got a crush on me," Hidden Darkness thought.

"Hello, Hidden Darkness," Cheerilee said seductivly. "What are you doing tonight?"

"Work," he said.

"Maybe I could help," she said. Hidden Darkness shook his head.

"That's extremely doubtful," he said. "Unless you know how to splice genes, and combine them with other genes, then you'll actually be able to help." Cheerilee pouted.

"You know I'm practically offering you sex, right?" she asked. Hidden Darkness nodded.

"Yes, that's quite obvious," he said. "I just don't want sex, with you, or with anyone. Now out." Cheerilee sighed as she walked out of the door. Hidden Darkness walked over to the closet and opened it up. For a few seconds, he could see no one. Then a spot in the back seemed to shimmer, and suddenly Shifter was standing there. He was slouched over, knees bent, and still looked like he was trying to hide. He was a brown colored little bald guy, and didn't like big crowds.

"Hello, Hidden Darkness," he said in a low voice. "You're finally back." Hidden Darkness smiled through his mask and nodded.

"Yep," he said. "All of you are back." Shifter smile seemed to falter just a little bit.

"Does that mean you're leaving now?" he asked. "Please don't leave!"

"Ah, Shifter, you know I can't stay here now," Hidden Darkness said. "Celestia released me because she needed me to track you guys down. And Luna got me trapped in that asylum once. She might do it again."

"But it was only once!" Shifter said.

"Yeah, and I was trapped down there for 5 years!" Hidden Darkness said. "I need to get out of here." Shifter nodded.

"Where will you go?" he asked. Hidden Darkness shrugged.

"Somewhere where I can't be found," he said. Of course, I'll need to make anothe lab, but I won't be found easily."

"Can I come with you?" Shifter asked.

"I don't even know where I'm going," Hidden Darkness said. "And you'll probably slow me down. Sorry, but at the end of today, I'm dropping you off at your new room, and then bye."

The rest of the day passed by supriseingly quickly, until finally, the final bell rang. The kids started clearing out, but Twilight stayed behind.

"Mr. Darkness, why do we not have any homework?" she asked.

"Why are asking that?" Hidden Darkness asked. "You're like, 16. An education is good, but you don't always need homework." Twilight slowly nodded, and decided to except that as an answer. The closet door opened as the front door closed.

"So, this is it?" Shifter asked.

"Not quite yet," Hidden Darkness said. "I still need to take you down to your room." Shifter nodded as they started walking towards Celestia's office.

"What after that?" he asked.

"Maybe we'll see each other again in the future," Hidden Darkness said. "We might not, but we might. I don't know." They had finally reached Celestia's office. It was empty. Shifter entered first and looked around.

"So when will you leave?" he asked Hidden Darkness. When Hidden Darkness didn't answer, Shifter turned around to see that he wasn't standing where he should have been. He poked his head outside of the room to see no one anywhere. "How did he do that?"

Author's Note

Yes, this is the end, and yes, there will be a sequel. There will be a prequel, and Silent and the rest of the mutants will get much more screen time.
