Time in the Tardis

When I woke up, I found that John was up making some tea, and Doc was nowhere to be seen. I tried to sit up, but my injuries were still recovering.

"OW!" I yelped in pain.

"Careful, you could hurt yourself." John said calmly.

"I was just trying to sit up, I guess I expected it not to hurt. Where's Doc?" I asked, curious about where he was.

"I don't know." John said. I got kind of worried.

"I thought he was checking on you but, AH!" I had lifted my bandaged hoof, which was still really sore.

"Don't move." John said.

"It's hard not to..." I said, starting to cry only a little.

"Then just don't move." John said.

"I...okay." I just stayed on the ground where I was lying.

"See, much easier than not moving. Also, would you like some tea?" John asked.

"Blueberry tea if you can please." I requested from the spot on the ground.

"I think I can manage that." John said.

In a few minutes I was sipping some blueberry tea on the floor next to John. Eventually John decided to break the silence that had taken place.

"Words." John said. I giggled.

"More words!" I said in reply.

"Wordy words." John said in a serious voice. I laughed loudly, making myself bounce in the process.

"OW!" I exclaimed, as I stopped bouncing.

"Are you alright?" John asked.

"I'm fine, in my rush to get you here I had flown so fast, and got caught on many branches. I didn't realize I had hurt myself so much until after I knew you would be okay." I explained.

"You shouldn't worry so much about me that you forget to worry for yourself." John said.

"I know, it's just," I held back some tears, "you would've died otherwise."

"Try to stay calm Candy." John said.

"Right, sorry. I forgot for a second." I said, honestly forgetting that I was a time lord as well.

"It's alright." John said.

"How do you stay so calm?" I wondered aloud.

"Well I don't entirely." John said

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"I do stay calm, however, it comes with a price. I keep everything inside, my sadness, my anger, my pain, all of it. However, it affects me mentally." John said.

"But doesn't it all eventually become too much to hold back?" I asked.

"It does, that's why sometimes I'm not around." John said.

"I see...I don't know if I'll be able to do that." I said, a little worried.

"Well, you won't have to. I only need to because of the things I have seen or experienced." John said bringing me a refill of tea, "So that gives you plenty of time to do nothing."

"I guess I'll have to try not to get bored." I giggled.

"Oh don't worry, you won't." John said.

"Huh?" I asked.

"I've found it hard to be bored in the TARDIS, even if you are just doing nothing." John said.

"Okay then. I'll trust you." I said.

"Especially with Doc around, always talking about science, and the occasional trip through time and space." John explained. I laughed, knowing that Doc does talk a lot.

"Hey where is Doc?" I said, realizing that Doc was still gone, "He's been gone a while."

"Oh I just remembered where he is! You must have been asleep, we are currently on a different planet. He is doing some stuff, I think it is called Hurala." John said.

"Wait, what?!" I exclaimed, trying to keep my cool.

"Don't worry, we're in the TARDIS, we'll be fine. As for Doc, He has lived for around 900 years, he'll be fine as well." John said

"Wait, WHAT?! THEN HOW OLD ARE YOU?! AUGH!!!" I had hopped up and instantly fell down, landing on my bandaged hoof and hurting my bandaged wing.

"Well, if you are going to start doing that then it's best I tell you later. Here is your tea, I will be back soon." John said as he walked to one of the hallways.

"John..." I groaned, holding my now bleeding bandaged wing. I had landed on my side, and my bandaged wing got caught under one of my hooves. It made me stretch it too much.

"Yes? Oh my!" John said as he saw my wing, "Don't worry, I'll get the supplies." John said as he rushed to the first aid kit.

"Ugh..." I held my wing tighter, waiting for John.

"Here." John said as he fixed up my wing, "Is that better?"

"Sort of." I said, still in pain, "Thanks."

"No problem." John said, "Now you stay here, drink your tea, and get some rest."

I sighed as I curled up in my little spot on the floor, "John, one more question."

"Mm? What's that, my dear?" John asked.

"What time is it? I don't know if it's evening or morning or what!" I laughed.

"In the TARDIS, it's whatever time you want it to be." John said with a smile.

"In that case, goodnight John, and along'sy." I said, starting to fall asleep.

"Alongs-y." John said, right before falling down and falling asleep. I giggled right before falling asleep myself.
