Changing Time

I stayed in the tardis, just sobbing for what seemed like hours. Doc later came in and saw that I was obviously upset.

"Candy, why are you crying?? Where's John?" Doc asked.

"John, Rainbows, thought, I, him, evil, LEFT!" I sobbed, not even sure what I said.

"Candy calm down, what happened?" Doc asked. I could not get a hold of myself, those memories were just flooding back. It was too much for me to handle, I would not stop crying. "Do you know where John could have gone?" Doc asked with a sigh.

"Don't, know." I sobbed.

"What direction did he go in?" Doc asked

"Teleported." I sobbed harder, simply falling apart on the floor.

"Then we need to head back to Ponyville." He said. I didn't move, I was torn apart. I saw myself once again, leave behind all those innocent fillies and colts just to save myself and my friend. I knew it would haunt me, I knew it was horrible, but I did it. All I did, was sob. It was nonstop, I couldn't stop crying, and the one pony who knew what to do, wasn't here. I heard a really weird sound, Doc was in the center of the room near the controller type thing, doing something, but I didn't care. I wailed, just ashamed of myself. I didn't deserve to know John, I didn't deserve to be Luna's student, I didn't even deserve to have escaped from my mom.

Once the weird noise stopped, Doc picked me up and carried me outside. I didn't stop sobbing, even when I heard a loud boom come from the sky.

"Candy, why is there a huge cloud with rainbows on fire and falling from the sky?" Doc asked.

I managed to sob two words in response, with a bit of terror in my voice, "Sonic.....Rainboom." The whole cloud then exploded, and two things came flying towards us, a worker from the rainbow factory, and what looked like a small filly or colt. I managed to stop sobbing once I saw them, I hopped off of Doc's back and ran as quickly as possible behind a nearby tree. The worker and the colt both landed, the worker landed harder, and when I looked to see who the colt was, I gasped. It was John. John started to attack the worker, and turned everything into an all out fight.

"YOU DID THIS TO HER!!!" John shouted at the worker, "YOU WILL BE EXTERMINATED!!!!!" I just stared, but after realizing what John meant I knew I had to do something.

"Alright ENOUGH!!!!!!" I screamed, turning into my rage form, I limped out from behind the tree to see the worker just standing there, staring. John was doing the same, however, when John saw the worker was distracted, he pulled out a tube like thing with tiny bars around it. Then he pointed it at him, and it began to charge a blue light at the tip of the end pointed at the worker. I didn't want any pony else to be hurt, especially after all that I caused. I jumped in between John and the worker, changed into Starburst, and cast a shielding spell, saving the worker and getting injured myself.

"NO!" John shouted. Before he dropped the thing and ran over to me. "The shield prevented death, but she is badly injured. I need to get her to the hospital!" John shouted.

"John..." I had changed back, and looked over at the worker. I saw that he had thanked me, but I blacked out after.

I woke up in a hospital bed, with John and Doc standing next to me, talking about something. My moaning brought John's attention to me.

"Are you alright Candy?" John asked me, sounding concerned.

"Ugh what happened?" I asked, almost instantly after asking that I remembered everything, and started to cry some more. I knew I saved some pony, but I also knew I had left so many behind. I had another chance, but I used it to save a worker pony, not any of the other fillies or colts.

"I caused this. I did this!" John shouted as he pounded the wall hard

"J-J-John..." I stammered, doing my best to hold my tears back, "i-it wasn't y-y-your f-f-fault...I should h-h-have r-r-realized this s-s-sooner....I REALLY AM EVIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I sobbed freely now, just absolutely falling apart.

John mumbled something into the wall, he then put a hoof on me. I calmed down as soon as I felt his touch, I put my hoof over his as he said, "I'm sorry." He then took his hoof away, pointed the device from before at his head, and the blue tip lit up. I knew it was charging up.

"NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I shouted.
