The soul transporter

Buttley adjusted his glasses, and continued building his creation. His house was filled with noises. Outside were 5 people. Twilight, Dash, Pinkamena, Jess, and Creeps. Creeps knocked on the door, and Buttley opened it.

"What are you doing bro?" Creeps asked.

"Just building something." he said, "I'll show it to you tomorrow!" He closed the door, and continued his invention. Hours later, at 12:00 am, he finished it. A teleporter. Like what the Engies make. He wanted to try and build one. Time to show his friends soon.

10:00 am

Twilight was right outside Buttley's house. Dash and Pinkamena decided to play cards back at base, Creeps was still asleep, and Jess was doing target practice. She moved through the side of the house, and looked through the window. She saw Buttley sleeping, his glasses on a table, a yellow blanket covering everything, but his arms and head. In his hands, was a little plushie Twilight gave to him for Christmas. It was her as a medic. His eyes started to flutter, as he woke up. He got up, and put the plushie in a chest at the corner of the room. He got out of his bedroom. Twilight went back to the front of his house, and knocked on the door. It opened up, and she saw Buttley.

"Hey Buttley!" she said.

"Hey!" he said, "Come in." She went in, and saw something she was familiar with. 2 teleporters. "Wanna test it out?"

"Sure!" She stepped on one of them, and Buttley stepped on the other. He brought out a remote, and pushed a button. The teleporters activated, but it also began to spark. Before either could react, they switched places, and were thrown off the teleporters. Smoke emerged from it, and it exploded. Buttley got up, and helped Twilight up, but something was wrong.

"AAAAAHHHHHH!" he screamed.

"What?" Twilight asked. She looked at her self, and saw what he was screaming about. They switched bodies. Buttley was now in a female, purple-skinned, furry, and tailed body. Twilight was in a male body with no fur, no tail, and no ears on her head. She got up, and looked at herself.

"This wasn't supposed to happen!" Buttley complained. But he was in Twilight's body, so he had Twilight's voice.

"Maybe Blu Engie can fix this." Twilight said. They went out of the house, and ran towards Blu base. When they got there, they saw Jess blowing up a bunch of targets. When she saw the 2, she waved.

"Help us!" Buttley screamed.

"What's chasing you?" she asked.

"Remember what I was doing yesterday?"

"I thought Buttley was working on that."

"It was a teleporter, but when I tried it on me and Twilight, we switched bodies!" Jess looked shocked for a moment.

"So wait, Twilight's in your body, and since I'm talking to Twilight's body, I'm talking to you?" The 2 nodded. "Uhhhhh..."

"Where's Engie?"

"Right here!" The 2 turned around. "I heard everything."

"Is there anything we could do about it?" Twilight asked.
