What are pigs for? Applejack explains!

Twilight Sparkle arrived at sweet apple acres along with her other friends, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Rainbow Dash, along with her new student Starlight Glimmer. Today was going to be very educational for all them, but she was the most excited as today Applejack would finally explain in full detail what she raises pigs for!
She was giddy with anticipation. She’s been asking Applejack what the pigs were for since they first became friends, but the earth pony has always been avoiding the topic or changed the subject, finally Twilight’s persistence has borne fruit!
“Oh this is going to be so exciting! Are you excited as I am Starlight?”
The pink unicorn smiled widely as she took a few steps away from her teacher. Twilight was in another one of her borderline mental modes. The others have told her she’s improved a lot since being crowned and that her freak outs used to be much worse; much, much worse, to quote them exactly. She was kind of curious to see what her teacher was like over the edge. Maybe she could go back in time and witness the event first hoof… NO! Bad Starlight! You’re a good pony now!
“It’s great, I can’t what to find out,” Starlight replied with a bit of forced smile. Her excitement nowhere nears her teacher’s, though she was still curious.
“I just can’t want to see the adorable little piggies!” Fluttershy gushed, “Oh I wonder what wonderful think Applejack does with them? Maybe she’d dolling some of them up for the fair? Wouldn’t that just be amazing to watch? They always look so nice, right Rarity?”
The fashionista was a bit hesitant to answer reply right away. Her desire to be near such… cuddly creatures mud covered creatures was significantly less than her pegasus friend.
“Right darling, I suppose a bow or shawl would look rather fetching on one of the little dears (though pointless).”
“Right? Maybe Applejack preps them for a pig fashion show?” Fluttershy exclaimed dreamily.
Rainbow Dash snorted, “As if AJ would do that. This is AJ were talking about! Her and fashion don’t really mix. I say it’s something awesome, like pig wrestling! AJ took me to this rodeo once and they had a pony wrestling a pig in the mud and it was awesome! This pony was being flung around in the mud slipping and sliding all over the place.”
“Oh, oh, oh what if it’s a pig party! That would be great! We could do a joint party planning andandandand…”
The others rolled their eyes at Pinkie’s rambling as they reached the barn Applejack specified, which was different from her other barns. This one was made of steel, unlike the others and there was a large fridge unit on the side of the building. Why have they never seen this particular barn before?
“Well,” Twilight said reaching from the door handle, an ominous feeling settled in her stomach as she turned the handle. “Let’s go in.”
The door swung open, inside the room was dimly lit, bulbs barely giving off light swung up above. There was a smell, not the usual pig smell, but something else like something had been burnt it smelt familiar to Twilight, but she couldn’t place it.
“Applejack?”
“Over here,” the farm pony called sticking the shadows. “Ah’ll be with you in a bit just need to finish up somethings and I’ll be right with you. Why don’t you go to the door to the left there and take a seat inside. The tour will begin shortly.”
Filing in one by one, the group saw a set of prepared chairs for them and a two way mirror in the wall. On the other side of the wall was a dark room that none of them could see in. Confused they took their seats not noticing the click of the door lock locking behind them as they did.
In the other room Applejack trotted in wearing a white lab coat and safety glasses, behind her was a pig. She led the pig the center of the room and flipped on the lights from there a table rose out of the floor lifting the pig up.
“This little piggy is named Shubert, Ah’ve raised him since he was a little piglet, I’ve fed him, nursed him, treated him like I would my own baby and today I’m going to show you what we Apple’s do with pigs on our farm.”
Back on the other side Fluttershy swooned, “Oh I wonder what wonderful thing… wait Applejack why are you picking up that knife…Applejack! Applejack no!”
The blade between AJ’s teeth sliced through the cute little piglet’s throat, spraying red blood all over the table as it squealed and thrashed around in agony. Applejack gave a few more stabs till it finally stopped moving.
“Sorry about that, usual only takes one cut, knife must be getting dull. I’ll sharpen it quick.” The six mares on the behind the glass watched in absence horror as Applejack whistled a lively tone as she sharpened the knife against the wet stone, bringing the blade to a razor’s edge finish.
“That’s better; now let’s begin with the ears. Winona loves chewing on these things after I salt and jerky them. Next I skin the little darling by cutting here, here, and here.” Applejack cut the skin around the pig’s legs and around the neck finally making on long cut across its belly and with one hard tug pulled it all off at once, leaving the muscle and bones exposed. Her friend bulked at the sight, many of them turning green.
“Now thinks get messy. You see girls griffons like their pork butchered, so I’m gonna cut some pork chops out of this section of meat and then some porkloin here and all the waste like the heart and some parts here I grind into ground pork like so.”
Twilight and company could only shield their eyes as Applejack causally tossed the fore mentioned items into the meat grinder, slowly hoof cranking the machine as the bits and pieces of bone and meat were tore into smaller tubes of meat.
Now covered in blood and guts Applejack approached the mirror and smiled at her friends a almost sinister smile.
“And that’s what pigs are for.”
