The Renaissance Expedition
"Out of all the places..."
Twilight approaches the TARDIS, hold the door handles, takes a deep breath, and enters the TARDIS. She closes the doors behind her.
"Ah Twilight, come in, come in." said Doctor Whooves all cheery and excited for the trip. "Just making some minor adjustments."
"So, this is the TARDIS huh?" asked Twilight.
"It sure is. So, out of all the places in the world, every time period in existence, and every major historical event from the past to the future, where do you want to go?" He asked.
"Out of all the places in the world, I have to choose one." Twilight makes a thinking pose and thinks for a moment. "Well, I heard in global history there was an age where culture and literature thrived in the UK."
"What's that time period called?" asked Doctor Whooves.
Twilight replies, "It's called the Renaissance. I've been wondering what it feels like to live in a society where all you can think about is books and art."
"So, that's where you want to go, the Renaissance?" asked Doctor Whooves.
Twilight decides, "Yes, that's where I want to go."
"Your wish was been granted." said Doctor Whooves.
Twilight chuckles. Doctor Whooves messes with the console and pulls the activation lever. The TARDIS begins to groan, and screech, and rumble. Twilight holds on to the console and the TARDIS take off, then lands after 5 seconds.
"Where we are, good ol' fourteenth century." He approaches the doors and opens them for Twilight. "Ladies first."
Twilight exits the TARDIS and looks at the marvelous scenery of fourteenth century England. "Wow." Twilight is surprised by the town they're at and the people.
"So, Twilight, one thing I have to say, welcome to England." said Doctor Whooves.
