Aria's Dissaprovement

Adagio opened one eye and looked at her alarm clock, the numbers on it read 6:00. She'd set the alarm clock for that time the night before so her and the other two would have time to get dressed, eat a quick breakfast and then get into the car and drive to the airport. She'd loaded everything into her SUV the night before and had to pretty much pry Aria's phone away from her. Sonata'd been easy since she was way to excited to stay up because of the vacation. Adagio got out of bed, turned off the alarm clock and got dressed. She then went and knocked on Sonata's bedroom door, Sonata was already up and was just getting her socks on when Adagio opened the door after she didn't get an answer.
"Great your up." Adagio chimed. "Head downstairs when your done in here and get your breakfast, I have to go and wake up Aria, that's going to be difficult." Adagio said.
"Do you want any help with that part?" Sonata asked, "I'm always waking her up at like eight in the morning." she added.
"I think I'm good." Adagio said. "Aria's already going to be unreasonable as it is. We don't need to make her even more unreasonable." she added.
Sonata skipped down the hall towards the staircase and Adagio walked over to Aria's door, she opened the door and looked in, she could see that Aria was still in bed, fast asleep. She quietly made her way over to her bed and shook her lightly.
"Go away Sonata." Aria mumbled.
"It's not Sonata, it's your worst nightmare." Adagio said teasingly.
"What do you want Adagio?" Aria asked as she looked at her with one eye open.
"It's time to get up and get ready to head to the airport." Adagio answered, she walked over to the doorway after Aria stood up and walked over to her dresser, '
"Now get dressed and come downstairs for a quick breakfast before we leave." Adagio said as she walked out the door.
"Ok." Aria said. There was a mix of annoyance and sleepiness in her voice.
Adagio walked doenstairs and into the kitchen, she went to the cupboard and got out a bowl and some cereal, she poured the cereal into her bowl and then grabbed the milk from the fridge and poured the milk onto her cereal. She looked at the expiry date on the milk and made a disgusted sound.
"What is it?" Sonata said to Adagio as she came into the kitchen.
"This milk expires in two days. You and Aria hopefully will be able to finish it or I'll have to throw it out when we get back." Adagio answered.
"Oh well I was going to just have a bagel but ok, I'll have cereal." Sonata replied.
"You don't have to I was just saying that." Adagio answered. She grabbed a spoon from the silverware drawer and then went and sat down on the kitchen table. She looked at the clock on the stove and saw that it read 6:15. She woken Aria up ten minutes ago. It surely didn't take that long to get dressed.
"Sonata go check on Aria for me please. Tell her to come down here and get her breakfast so we can leave early if we get the chance." Adagio stated.
"Ok." Sonata said. She walked out of the kitchen and upstairs, she went to Aria'd closed bedroom door and knocked. Aria answered a few minutes later.
"Who is it and what do you want now." Aria said from inside her room.
"It's Sonata. Adagio told be to come up here and tell you to hurry up." Sonata explained.
"Well. Tell her she can wait, I can't find my hair clips." Aria answered a minute later.
"Didn't you out them in your suitcase last night before Adagiof took them to the car?" Sonata asked confusingly.
"Yeah. But I thought I had an extra pair." Aria answered. She kicked something in her room and Sonata decided she'd better just leave. She was halfway down the hall when Aria's door opened, she turned to see Aria come out and stand in front of her doorway. She looked over at Sonata.
"Can you help me look for them?" Aria asked her.
"Um. Sure. I guess." Sonata said confusingly. This was first time in a long time that Aria had asked her for help with something.
Aria and Sonata came into the kitchen about ten minutes later, they'd had no luck in there search for Aria's hair clips. Sonata walked over to the counter where her cereal was waiting and went and sat on the table. Aria reached up to the cupboard and grabbed a bowl, she grabbed the cereal box and the milk and poured both into her bowl. She then came and sat down at the kitchen table. The three girls sat there and ate in silence, the only sounds heard were the clinging of the spoons on the bowls and the occasional beep from the printer. Adagio was the first to break the silence after a few more minutes.
"I'm going out to the old she'd out back to get something. We'll leave when I get back." Adagio announced.
"Don't we need someone to take care of the horse and the cows for us while we're gone?" Sonata asked. The Dazzlings had bought a bay Thoroughbred mare named Paprika along with three beef cows named Delilah, Clover and Juniper the year before. They lived out back in the thre acre pasture on the Dazzlings property. Two out of the three cows were supposed to have a calf this year. Clover already had one.
"Already settled. Our neighbor said he'd come and feed and water them twice a day if they needed it. He also said that he'd check Delilah and Juniper at least three times a day." Adagio answered.
"Can I come with you to y goodbye to them. I'm done eating anyways." Sonata chanted.
"Ok. We can go see them for a few minutes but then we have to go. Aria are you going to come or stay here because I see your done to." Adagio asked.
"I might as well come." Aria exclaimed. Even thought she didn't like hanging out around the animals, Aria'd grown attached to Juniper, she was the one that fed her most of the time.
The three girls walked out back and Adagio stopped at the shed, she told Aria and Sonata to go and see the animals but be back at the car by five minutes. Aria and Sonata continued on their way to see the animals. Sonata walked over to where Paprika was grazing and Aria went to where Juniper was dozing. Juniper looked up at her but continued to doze, Aria looked out to the far end of the pasture to see where the other two cows were. Delilah was grazing close by and Clover and her calf were about a quarter of the way down from the pasture. Aria patted Juniper's shoulder and then walked over to where Sonata was standing with Paprika. She walked up and patted Paprika.
"Don't you just want to climb on her back and see how fast she can go." Sonata said.
"Yeah. But Adagio said we can't ride her." Aria exclaimed.
"I know. Why is that?" Sonata asked.
"I honestly don't know you'd have to ask her." Aria answered flatly.
Ten minutes later all three girls were in the car driving towards the airport, Adagio was at the wheel, Aria was sitting next to her and Sonata was sitting behind Aria.
"Sonata stop kicking my seat." Aria shouted as she looked back at Sonata.
"Why?" Sonata asked as she continued to kick Aria' seat.
"Because it's annoying and I don't like it." Aria answered. She elbowed the back of her seat and Sonata stopped kicking it for a few minutes.
"Sonata!" Aria said through clenched teeth. "Do something Adagio." Aria said as she looked over at Adagio.
"Someone's cranky today." Adagio stated.
"You knew I would be. Now make her stop." Aria exclaimed.
"Sonata stop kicking Aria's seat. What did I tell you this morning about making her more mad than she already is." Adagio explained.
"To not to." Sonata replied.
"Exactly." Adagio said.
"Dagi?" Sonata asked a few minutes later.
"What" Adagio answered.
"How come we can't ride Paprika?" Sonata asked again.
"Because. We don't know anything about her, she's a retired racehorse don't forget. She was bad to run." Adagio answered as she turned onto one of ten backroad so that headed into town.
"Why are you going this way?" Aria asked with a nonchalant voice.
"Cause it's quicker, we're already running late because you couldn't find you boarding pass, even though it was on your dresser." Adagio answered.
"Well. It was dark in my room and you were rushing everything." Aria said flatly.
"I wasn't being rushed Ari." Sonata explained.
"I don't care and stop calling me that." Aria boasted.
"ARIA! Calm down." Adagio exclaimed as she glanced into her rear view mirror to see it anyone was coming up behind them.
"Why? It's your fault we had to get up so early." Aria exclaimed.
"No that's not why your mad. Your mad because you can't have your phone." Adagio explained.
"Pretty much yeah." Aria replied a few minutes later.
"And just because your mad doesn't give you the right to get mad at Sonata for no reason at all." Adagio said.
"Hey it's not my fault you said I couldn't have my phone." Aria said.
"Yes it is. Your the one that's always on it." Adagio replied.
Aria didn't answer instead she looked out the window and crossed her arms across her chest.
"Ari, what happened?" Sonata asked Aria.
"Nothing. I'm just mad at Adagio." Aria said flatly.
"Sonata just leave her alone. She's mad and being this way because it's to early for her. Just look out your window and don't annoy her." Adagio said.
"Ok. Wait, Adagio, what if something happens to one of the animals at the farm and our neighbor needs to contact you?" Sonata asked.
"I gave him my cell number plus I have him the name of the hotel we're staying at. If there's a problem and we're not available I told him to leave a message at the font desk. So not to worry. Not to worry at all." Adagio answered Sonata.
"Ok." Sonata said.
