Chapters Twilight Velvet's Unannounced Visit
Morning had arrived in Ponyville and like they do every morning, Twilight and Spike sat down to breakfast. It was shaping up to be a rather normal day but that would change quickly when there was a knock on the door. Twilight answered it and before her stood her mom, "Uh, hi mom. What brings you by?"
*Velvet replied, "You and I need to talk" she looked over at Spike and continued, "alone."
Twilight asked, "Before we begin this talk would you want to join us for breakfast."
Velvet had yet to eat so she enthusiastically joined them. When she arrived at the table she noticed that Spike had a bowl of fire rubies next to his plate. She asked, "What's up with the rubies?"
Twilight replied, "Oh, Spike likes rubies with his meals."
Velvet knew next to nothing about dragons so she asked, "How does he eat gems, much less digest them?"
Spike interrupted, "You don't know much about dragons do you?"
Velvet replied, "No, I don't." She looked at Twilight and continued, "Does he always eat gems like this? Feeding him can't be cheap."
Twilight replied, "My friend Rarity has a special talent in finding gems so she usually goes out into the hills and finds him gems to eat."
Spike added, "And sometimes I get to join her."
Velvet sighed, "I see." She was quickly becoming bored with this small talk. She asked, "Twilight, once we finish breakfast can you send Spike off somewhere for a while, well a long while so we can talk?"
Twilight asked, "What, a long while? Why a long while?"
Velvet replied, "Because besides talking, I want us to go on a trip together, just you and me."
Twilight was really wondering about what her mother had planned and wondered why she would have to send Spike somewhere for a long while, "Mom, where is it you are wanting to go and why can't Spike come?"
Velvet replied, "Where we are going is a surprise and Spike can't come because this I want us to have some much needed mother/daughter bonding time or should I say our first true mother/daughter bonding time."
Twilight asked, "What about my royal duties? What about my friends? What about dad?"
Velvet knew that unlike the other princesses, Twilight didn't exactly have any life or death royal duties she had to fulfill, "Twilight, things will be ok. It's not like you have to raise the sun, raise the moon or oversee an entire empire." Hearing the word dad made Velvet cringe as they were having problems. She continued, "Regarding your father, he is out of town for a few weeks and I didn't feel like spending a whole month alone."
Twilight sighed, "True and I can understand you not wanting to be alone for that long." They had finished their breakfast and Twilight continued, "Come on Spike, let's see if any of my friends will watch over you for a...."
Velvet interrupted, "Two weeks. That is how long our trip will be."
Spike was not overly thrilled about the idea of simply being pawned off on somepony. He asked, "Velvet, I don't get why I have to be somepony else's burden for a couple weeks. Why is it that I can't be there?"
Velvet replied, "I can't go into details, I just can't."
This brought out suspicions in Twilight. She knew that her mom tended to be secretive when it came to some things but she wondered what, especially given that she is no filly anymore, that her mom would be hiding but knew not to question her and go with the flow. She sighed, "Come on Spike. Maybe Applejack will need you on the farm for a while."
Spike remembered how things went last time he helped out on the farm. He asked, "Are you sure Applejack would want me helping out on the farm? You remember what happened last time."
Twilight sighed, "Spike, nopony ever said you had to try to help out. If she doesn't want you to stay there, maybe Fluttershy can take care of you. Twilight headed towards the door and continued, "Come on. I'm sure mom doesn't want to wait."
It was not long until they arrived at Sweet Apple Acres and fortunately Applejack was easy to find, apple bucking in the south field. The three headed to her and were warmly greeted, "Howdy Twilight, Howdy Spike.....I mean no disrespect ma'am but I can't remember your name."
Velvet replied, "I am Twilight Velvet, Twilight's mom but you can just call me Velvet."
Applejack asked, "So Twilight, what brings you three by?"
Twilight replied, "Well mom and I are going on a trip and we are wondering if Spike could stay with you for a couple of weeks."
Applejack remembered how much trouble Spike caused when he tried to help out on the farm. She asked, "I don't know Twilight. You know what happened when he tried to help me out here last time."
Twilight replied, "I didn't say anything about him helping you out. I was just wondering if he could stay here on the farm."
Applejack sighed, "Oh alright. I figure him staying here would be a lot easier than having him stay with one of our other friends."
Before Twilight could say anything Velvet interrupted, "That's great! Come on Twilight, let's go catch the train. I want us to get going as soon as possible."
As they headed away to the farm Applejack asked, "Spike, what is all this about? Why is Twilight wanting you to stay here for two weeks and why is her mom in such a rush to get going?"
Spike replied, "I'm not sure. Whatever it is, I don't think even Twilight knows what her mom is up to. She usually writes before she comes but she just showed up."
Applejack sighed, "That's odd oh and Spike, do you promise that you're not going to try to help out with any of the chores? I remember how that turned out last time."
Spike replied, "I promise!"
When Velvet mentioned them going on a trip, Twilight thought that they would be headed to the train station, she was in shock as they headed back to the castle. She asked, "Mom, I thought we were going on a trip?"
Velvet replied, "We are, I just want to talk to you about a couple of things alone before we head out."
Twilight sighed, "Alright mom, but I do hope we can get going soon."
Twilight was suddenly a bit confused. At first she felt as though her mom was in a hell-fire hurry to get out of town but now here she was wanting to talk to her back in the castle. Eventually she was able to put her fears at ease and realized that perhaps it was just something that she did not want to discuss around other ponies.

Learning of the Tradition
Once they arrived back at the castle Velvet closed the door and draped herself around Twilight. This was not like her mother's behavior at all as normally, ever back since she was a filly, she knew that her mother liked her personal space. She asked, "Mom, what is this all about? What is it you want to talk about and why are you clinging to me?"
Velvet replied, "Twilight, I need to talk to you in your bedroom."
Twilight asked, "Why my bedroom?"
Velvet was not liking all her daughter's questioning so she resorted to how she would be with her daughter prior to her moving in with Celestia. She glared at her and ordered, "Your room, now."
This brought back memories for Twilight. Despite the fact that she was now a full grown mare, an Alicorn and a princess, her mother's demeanor still frightened her. She replied, "Yes mom."
Twilight led the two up to her bedroom. Despite being her mother, Velvet had never been to the upper level of Twilight's castle. Once they reached her bedroom Twilight closed the door. She asked, "Mom, what is this about? Why do you have to talk to me in here?"
Again using the methods she did when her daughter was young, she pointed at her bed and ordered, "Twilight Sparkle, sit down."
Twilight Sparkle. Her mother had not called her by her full name since the last time she was in trouble as a filly and this was causing her to feel very nervous. She asked, "Mom, what's wrong? If you're mad at me for some reason, let me know."
Velvet sat down next to her daughter and continued, "No, I'm not mad." She pulled Twilight close to her and continued, "I just want to share something about our family history with you before we start our mother/daughter time."
Twilight sighed, "Ok."
Velvet sat facing Twilight and began, "Twilight, as you know a lot of traditions, including names, are passed down on the mother's side of the family."
Twilight replied, "Yes, I know that."
Velvet placed her hoof on Twilight's leg and continued, "There are plenty of other traditions that involve a mother and her daughter, very important and wonderful traditions that you need to know about."
Before she could continue Twilight interrupted, "Mom, could you please take your hoof off of my leg? It's making me uncomfortable."
Velvet gave her that same ice cold glare, "No Twilight, you will let me do this." She began to smile and continued, "One of those traditions is between a mother with the name of Twilight and her daughter which shares her name and it often happens when the younger Twilight first matures but unfortunately, you were in Celestia's school and lived in the palace when that happened so I was unable to share that tradition with you at the time my mother did with me."
Twilight asked, "What is this tradition?"
Velvet moved her hoof much further up Twilight's leg to where it was uncomfortably close to her marehood. Velvet continued, "It has been tradition in our family for generations that the mother give her daughter her first sexual experience. It is believed that it will give the daughter good luck throughout her life and will ensure that she will have a daughter, name her Twilight and share that same experience with her."
Twilight was shocked by this. To her this made absolutely no sense and was one of the most irrational things she had ever heard, "Mom, a mother committing incest with her daughter will not ensure things will turn out that way and besides, I've already had sexual experiences."
Velvet rammed her hoof right up against Twilight's folds and laughed, "Let me guess, Celestia, Fluttershy and Rarity."
Twilight gasped, "How did you know?"
Velvet replied, "I see how you are around Fluttershy and Rarity. Chances are you've probably had many threesomes with them and I know what Celestia expects out of her proteges once they mature so I know you're no innocent little thing but that won't stop me from keeping this tradition alive."
Twilight protested, "But mom, why bother? You know I'm a lesbian so I certainly won't be having any foals!"
Velvet giggled, "Oh I wouldn't be certain on that. We could always go down to that library of yours and find a horn fertility spell."
Twilight sighed, "Mom, do you realize how advanced of magic fertility spells are when it comes to allowing a mare to sperm out of her horn don't you?"
Velvet laughed, "You represent the element of magic Twilight so this should be easy for you. I'm sure you can find something, cast it on me and then I can get you pregnant, preferably with a filly then you can carry this tradition on."
Twilight was mortified, never once did she think that her own mother would want to impregnate her with a fertility spell. She yelled, "No mom! I will not do this!"
Velvet again used her old methods, "Yes Twilight, you will or I will expose your trysts with your friends to Celestia."
Twilight laughed, "I'm not worried about that. She has joined the three of us on many occasions so feel free to go tell her."
Velvet's voice got sterner and her glare became more intense, "Fine then, I'll expose it to all of Equestria."
Twilight begged, "Please mom, don't expose me. I'll do anything!"
Velvet replied, "Alright then. Let's go down to your library and find a fertility spell." She became giddy and continued, "I can't believe it, Twily's gonna have mama's filly!"
Twilight hung her head low realizing that unless she wanted her relationships to be exposed, especially the one with Celestia, that she would have to do this. While lesbian relationships were actually quite common in Equestria, two princesses engaging in one would likely anger the country's citizens and lead ponies to call for their abdication.
Mother/Daughter Bonding Time
The two headed down towards the library to search for a fertility spell. While Twilight normally loves going to the library, this trip she dreaded. To make matters worse, Velvet had wrapped her tail around Twilight's to keep her close. Once they arrived Velvet ordered, "Twily, this is your library. You should know where the books on fertility spells are, go find the right one."
Twilight asked, "Mom, can you just call me Twilight, I'm not a filly anymore."
Velvet smacked her flank, "No Twily and given the situation we're in, that is mommy to you."
Twilight realized that not only did Velvet want to engage in a tradition that would normally happen when she was just coming of age, that she was going to treat her the way she would at that age and expect her to behave in such a manner. She replied, "Ok mommy, I understand."
Velvet pulled Twilight into a deep passionate kiss. While Twilight was in a state of both shock and fear, Velvet was moaning in delight. Her tongue was exploring every nook and cranny of her daughter's mouth. After what seemed to be forever to Twilight, her mom pulled back, smacked her flank harder than before and snapped, "Twilight Sparkle, when mama gives you tongue you better give it back."
Twilight nervously replied, "Yes mommy."
Twilight began to look through the books hoping that she could find a book on fertility spells as soon as possible. Once she found one her mother smacked her flank and snapped, "It took you long enough."
Twilight replied, "I'm sorry mommy."
Velvet grabbed the book in her aura and ordered, "Your room, now!"
Twilight replied, "Yes mommy."
The two headed upstairs and once they arrived in Twilight's bedroom, Velvet shut and locked it, using a spell only she can break. She pointed at the book and ordered, "Find a spell and make it quick."
Twilight nervously began to flip through the pages of the book. There were many types of spells but finally she found the ones that she was looking for, fertility spells. Twilight said, "Alright, I found it."
They began to read it and while it looked like it would work Velvet asked, "That spell looks kind of vague. It needs to be altered a bit so that you'll be certain to have a filly."
Twilight replied, "Yes mommy, I understand."
Twilight was reading through it and realized that with a little bit of rewording it that it could work as her mother requested. She continued, "I think I have it."
Velvet replied, "Alright then, cast it and see if it works."
Twilight placed her horn up against Velvet's and began,
"While this mare desires a filly, She desires the father's role, While she has no way to produce a seed, Her horn is what she would need, For now her horn can spread the seed of life, And with this she will cause no strife."
A purple beam of energy began to encircle Velvet. Her body began to tingle as her horn began to grow both in length and circumference. The transformation stopped once it had doubled in size. She gave Twilight a seductive look, pointed at her horn and asked, "Looks good doesn't it?"
Twilight replied, "Uh, yeah."
Velvet pounced on her and continued, "So good to penetrate you with, so good to keep in you, so good to knock you up with."
Twilight wanted to get this over with, "Mommy, so are we going to do this now?"
Velvet replied, "Oh no Twily, we have plenty of time." She pinned her down, began to grind her marehood up against that of Twilight and began to moan, "Oh Twily, it feels so good, oh Twily, oh Twily!" She noticed that Twilight was not moaning as well. Velvet smacked her flank again and continued, "Well it better soon. Mama didn't come here for two weeks solely to knock you up."
Velvet's mean demeanor caused Twilight to ask, "Mommy, before we move on, was grandmare like this with you? Was she constantly smacking your flank, yelling at you and giving you icy cold glares?"
Velvet replied, "No because I did what good fillies do, I submitted to her. Now submit to me, enjoy this and perhaps this will become enjoyable for you." She lowered down to where they were face to face and continued, "Who knows Twily, you may like it so much you might want this quite often!"
Twilight asked, "Why would I want this quite often? Why would anypony want to commit incest with their mother quite often?"
Velvet laughed, "Oh once I came of age, mom and I did it every day while your grandstallion was at work." Her voice became more dreamy as she continued, "Oh and it felt so good! Mama was such a good lover!" Her voice became more stern as she finished, "And with any luck, you will feel the same way about me. I'll make you forget all about your friends and Celestia."
Twilight sighed, "Please mommy, since we have to do this, can we just get it over with."
Velvet snapped, "Fine Twily, but don't expect me to be soft with you the way your grandmare was with me."
Before Twilight could reply Velvet began to grind her again and started kissing her passionately. While Twilight was not happy, she began to give her mother tongue. Velvet was moaning in ecstasy as she continued working on her daughter. After an hour she got up and asked, "So Twily, did you enjoy this?"
Twilight replied, "Uh, yeah."
Velvet knew it was a lie. She smacked her flank as hard as she could and continued, "Don't you lie to mama Twily, I know you didn't. Perhaps you will enjoy what I have planned next."

By the time the two weeks had passed, she had completely forgot about the fun times that she had with Rarity, Fluttershy and Celestia. All she could focus on was her mother and hoped that after the two weeks had passed, that they could do this a lot more.
Dreams Realized
Two weeks had passed and like it had been with previous mother/daughter tradition experiences, it had brought out pleasure in both mares yet with Velvet's additions, it made it far more intense than any other experience in the past. Velvet also knew that there time was drawing to a close but wanted to make sure of one thing. She asked, "Twily, so when is your next period supposed to be?"
Twilight replied, "It should have started three days ago."
Velvet's ears shot up at this news. She asked, "Really? It should have started by now?"
Twilight sighed, "Yes, it should have."
Throughout most of her life Velvet had been one to keep her excitement in check to appear as a more rational thinking pony, she couldn't help but jump up and down like a schoolfilly, "Yes! Yes! My little Twily is carrying my foal! I hope it is a filly so bad!"
Twilight replied, "Mommy, I know you're happy but don't you think we better make sure first? Shouldn't we get a pregnancy test?"
Velvet asked, "Now how are we going to do that without ponies asking why we are getting one and who it is for?"
Twilight replied, "Oh we'll figure something out. Come on, let's go to Barnyard Bargains and pick one up."
Velvet suggested, "Sounds like a plan but let's not behave the way we have been while we are out and about? That would cause ponies to think we've both lost it."
Twilight replied, "Agreed, let's get going."
As the two stepped outside ponies began to give the two strange looks. Normally Twilight is out on a daily basis and most of them had never seen her mother so they wondered what was going on. On the way there they ran into Applejack and Spike. Spike ran to Twilight and cheered, "You're home! I'm so glad to see you!"
Twilight replied, "I'm home but mom and I still have some business to take care of that requires that we are alone."
Applejack asked, "So Spike needs to stay with me on the farm for longer?"
Twilight replied, "Yeah, I hope that isn't a problem."
Applejack sighed, "No, it's no problem."
Spike added, "Twilight, when will I get to come home?"
While Twilight knew that she should just hurry up, get this done and have her mom go home later that day, she secretly wanted her mom to stay for as long as she could. She replied "I'll come and get you when mom and I are done with everything."
Spike sighed, "Ok Twilight."
Once they parted Velvet asked, "Twilight, I know I'm supposed to leave today. After you take this do you think I should leave?"
Twilight leaned over and whispered, "No mommy. I was hoping you could stay until dad gets home."
Velvet whispered back, "Don't worry Twily, mama will stay as long as you want her to."
Both mares were ecstatic yet they did not dare show it out in public, especially as they headed into Barnyard Bargains. As they were looking around Filthy Rich couldn't help but wonder what was going on when he noticed Twilight looking over in the feminine hygiene products area. Once the two got to the cash register Filthy was shocked to see what they were buying. He asked, "Your Majesty, do you think you're expecting."
Before Twilight could reply Velvet said, "No, I'm getting this for a friend of mine up in Canterlot who is too embarrassed to go out and buy one herself."
Filthy sighed, "Oh, well I hope things turn out the way she hopes."
Velvet replied, "I hope so too, for her sake."
After leaving the store both mares wanted to gallop back to the castle but figured that it would be best if they not draw any unwanted attention to themselves so they leisurely walked back. Once they arrived they immediately headed up to the bathroom attached to Twilight's bedroom.
Both mares excitedly headed to the bathroom and as Twilight was removing it from it's packaging Velvet said, "Hurry Twily! I can't wait!"
Twilight replied, "Mommy, give me a chance to get it out of it's package! I still have to pee on it too you know!"
Velvet stood there in anticipation as Twilight did her business. They stood around the test waiting anxiously until the result showed up. When "+" showed up, they were both ecstatic. Twilight shouted, "Yes, yes, yes! We're having a foal mommy!"
Velvet hugged her, "I know Twily, I'm so happy."
Twilight asked, "So where do we go from here? When everypony notices that I'm pregnant, what do I tell them because everypony knows I'm a lesbian so they'll know it had to come from some sort of spell."
Velvet replied, "That is true and what the big question will be is what mare used a fertility spell to get you pregnant."
Twilight said, "Well we have a while to figure that out." She climbed up on her bed and continued, "For now let's relax."
Velvet crawled on top of her and replied, "I agree Twily."
Twilight said, "I love you mommy."
Velvet replied, "I love you too Twily."
As they laid in bed and began doing what they had been doing for the past two weeks, Velvet couldn't help but feel a sense of pride. Not only had she continued the Twilight Tradition but she had also won romantic love from her daughter and hopefully ensured that her daughter would be able to continue the Twilight Tradition with her filly once she matures.

They began to read it and while it looked like it would work Velvet asked, "That spell looks kind of vague. It needs to be altered a bit so that you'll be certain to have a filly."
Twilight replied, "Yes mommy, I understand."
Twilight was reading through it and realized that with a little bit of rewording it that it could work as her mother requested. She continued, "I think I have it."
Velvet replied, "Alright then, cast it and see if it works."
Twilight placed her horn up against Velvet's and began,
"While this mare desires a filly, She desires the father's role, While she has no way to produce a seed, Her horn is what she would need, For now her horn can spread the seed of life, And with this she will cause no strife."
A purple beam of energy began to encircle Velvet. Her body began to tingle as her horn began to grow both in length and circumference. The transformation stopped once it had doubled in size. She gave Twilight a seductive look, pointed at her horn and asked, "Looks good doesn't it?"
Twilight replied, "Uh, yeah."
Velvet pounced on her and continued, "So good to penetrate you with, so good to keep in you, so good to knock you up with."
Twilight wanted to get this over with, "Mommy, so are we going to do this now?"
Velvet replied, "Oh no Twily, we have plenty of time." She pinned her down, began to grind her marehood up against that of Twilight and began to moan, "Oh Twily, it feels so good, oh Twily, oh Twily!" She noticed that Twilight was not moaning as well. This angered her so she smacked her flank, "Twily, does this not feel good? Does mama's marehood not feel good?"
Twilight replied, "I'm sorry mommy. This whole situation just doesn't feel right."
Velvet smacked her flank again and continued, "Well it better soon. Mama didn't come here for two weeks solely to knock you up."
Velvet's mean demeanor caused Twilight to ask, "Mommy, before we move on, was grandmare like this with you? Was she constantly smacking your flank, yelling at you and giving you icy cold glares?"
Velvet replied, "No because I did what good fillies do, I submitted to her. Now submit to me, enjoy this and perhaps this will become enjoyable for you." She lowered down to where they were face to face and continued, "Who knows Twily, you may like it so much you might want this quite often!"
Twilight asked, "Why would I want this quite often? Why would anypony want to commit incest with their mother quite often?"
Velvet laughed, "Oh once I came of age, mom and I did it every day while your grandstallion was at work." Her voice became more dreamy as she continued, "Oh and it felt so good! Mama was such a good lover!" Her voice became more stern as she finished, "And with any luck, you will feel the same way about me. I'll make you forget all about your friends and Celestia."
Twilight sighed, "Please mommy, since we have to do this, can we just get it over with."
Velvet snapped, "Fine Twily, but don't expect me to be soft with you the way your grandmare was with me."
Before Twilight could reply Velvet began to grind her again and started kissing her passionately. Twilight was not enjoying this and wanted to make it stop. She pulled her face to the side and yelled, "Velvet, stop it now!"
Velvet stopped grinding, pinned Twilight down and yelled, "What did you call me Twily?" She smacked Twilight and continued, "A daughter NEVER calls her mother by her name, especially in the situation we're in, got that little filly?"
Twilight mustered up every ounce of strength she had and kicked Velvet off of her. She got out of bed and walked over to where her mother was laying. She gave her an intense glare and snapped, "You know what Velvet, I am not a little filly anymore and I will not take part in your stupid incestuous tradition."
Velvet stood up, smacked her daughter and yelled, "How dare you call it stupid Twilight! It is something that dates back generations, many many generations and I don't care whether you like this or not, I'm going to knock you up, you'll have a filly, you'll name her Twilight and then continue this tradition with her."
Twilight was not thrilled that her mother would smack her, especially with her being a princess. She grabbed Velvet in her aura and growled, "Look Velvet, a real mother does not commit incest with her children, a real mother does not want romantic love from her children and a real mother does not want to use a fertility spell to get her daughter pregnant!"
Velvet began to reply but Twilight intensified the strength of her hold, causing her to be unable to speak. Her glare deepened as she continued, "Does dad know about this? Did my grandstallion know about what you and grandmare did? Have any of the fathers known what their wives and their daughters have done over the generations?"
Twilight released the hold on her mother and stared her down. Her glare turned into a full blown scowl as she continued, "Well? Does dad know, did grandstallion know?"
At that moment Velvet realized that she had better tell the truth, she realized that the fear Twilight had of her was no longer there. She shied back and replied, "No, your father does not know about me coming to do this nor have any of the stallions known about the tradition."
Twilight scoffed, "You seriously expect me to believe that none of the stallions knew their wives were initiating their daughters like this?" She smacked Velvet and continued, "Dad may not know about what you're doing but I doubt such a generation after generation tradition could be easily hidden from the stallions in the family."
Velvet scowled back at Twilight and yelled, "You know what, they didn't. Had your grandstallion known what we did he would have filed for divorce and turned mom in for incest."
Twilight couldn't help but laugh, "Kind of strange you bring up turning somepony in for incest. After what you did today, you are guilty of that crime." She became more stern as she continued, "And once I tell Celestia about this, you'll find yourself either in Tartarus or preferably, on the moon."
Velvet again smacked Twilight and yelled, "You know what you disobedient little brat, if you do that I'll expose you and Celestia to all of Equestria." She saw Twilight's eyes shrink and continued, "Don't think I don't know about everything you two have done. I know that from the day you matured, you two have done things you shouldn't have." She got a sly grin on her face and asked, "And you don't want your precious Celestia exposed now do you?"
For a moment, Twilight thought that she would easily be able to put her mother in her place and nip this problem in the bud. Now she realized that she would have to do some negotiating with her mother. She replied, "No, I don't want Celestia exposed, I would never want anypony to think badly of her."
Velvet pointed at her bed and continued, "Tell you what Twilight, just let me give you horn sex once and that will be it. If I get you pregnant, that will be wonderful. If I don't, I guess a wonderful tradition will be doomed to death."
For Twilight, this was not an option. For so long, even after becoming a princess, she had been a bit scared of her mother but finally standing up to her was liberating and she was not about to cave into this. She began to eyeball her mother's enhanced horn and gave her a counter offer, "How about this Velvet, I'll give you two options. I can either reverse that fertility spell or I'll rip that horn out of your head with my teeth." She saw a glare form on Velvet's face again and ordered, "Tell me, which is it? Would you rather simply not have fertility magic or would you rather lose your magic entirely?"
Velvet could read Twilight's eyes and knew that she wasn't kidding, for the first time in her life she was actually scared of Twilight. She replied, "I would rather you just remove the fertility spell."
Twilight gave her a smile and replied, "Good, that will make life so much easier on both of us!" Twilight headed for the exit and tried to open the door but remembered that Velvet had cast a lock spell on it. She turned back to her mother and asked, "Could you undo that lock spell on the door so I don't have to blow it off the hinges?"
Velvet reluctantly broke her spell and sighed, "Very well."
After the spell was broken, Twilight and Velvet headed down to the library to undo the fertility spell. While her last trip to the library was one that she dreaded, this trip would likely be her favorite of all time. As they headed to the library, Velvet couldn't help but have a deep scowl on her face. For her whole life, she had always been able to intimidate her daughter but that was no longer the case and it infuriated her.

Epilogue: Death of the Twilight Tradition
Fro many years, ever since Twilight was a filly, she had been intimidated by her mother and that icy cold glare she always gave her but no longer. For the first time in her life, Twilight stood up to Velvet and it felt good, very good. What Twilight had planned next would feel even better, reversing that fertility spell and ensuring the death of what she considered an immoral, unethical and downright disgusting family tradition.
As they headed into the library Twilight headed to the section involving fertility spells. She knew that the book she took to her bedroom may have had a reversal spell in it but with the way her mother had been behaving, she had no desire to retrieve it. She continued to go through the books until she found one titled, "Fertility, Infertility and Reversal Spells."
She levitated it to herself and first checked the table of contents so that she would not have to spend so much time searching for it. She whispered to herself, "Pages 53-58, now to find the right one."
Velvet heard her whispering and snapped, "What were you saying little filly?"
Twilight ignored her and began to read through all the reversal spells. The first one she found involved reversing a penis enlargement spell for stallions, the next involved reversing a futa spell for mares and then she found what she was looking for, fertility reversal spells for horns.
She began to memorize the spell when the book was grabbed away by Velvet. Velvet stood there holding the book in her aura and snapped, "Oh no you don't little filly!" She intensified her hold and continued, "Unless you let mama do what she wants, I'll destroy this book and you won't be able to reverse the spell."
Twilight attempted to grab the book away from Velvet and ordered, "Give me my book or else!"
Velvet mocked, "Oooh, give me my book back or else!" She began to laugh, "Or what? What are you going to do, haul your poor mother to Tartarus, have your lover banish me to the moon, have your lover's sister banish me to the sun?"
Twilight approached her mother, bit down on her horn and snapped, "No, I'll remove this thing and take ALL of your magic away!"
Velvet screamed out in agony when Twilight clamped down on her horn. She was able to break free from Twilight and yelled, "Fine, you win! You can go ahead and kill a wonderful tradition!"
Twilight laughed, "I plan on it!" She again grabbed the aura in her book and ordered, "Stand still."
Despite being incredibly angry that Twilight was going to do this, she did as ordered. Once Twilight had focused on the spell enough, she felt that she was ready. She grabbed Velvet in her aura and recited,
"While the mare enjoys spreading the seed of life by doing this she has caused much strife normal this is not it is despised by a lot this ability can no longer be free from the father's role she shall now be."
As she finished reciting the spell, a powerful bolt of energy shot out from Twilight's horn and struck her mother. While the fertility spell did not cause her any pain, the reversal spell hurt her quite a bit. Once it was finished Velvet yelled, "Twilight, that hurt! How could you do that to your poor mother?"
Given everything that Velvet had done to her that day, Twilight was in no mood to hear it. She snapped, "Spare me your whining Velvet, I don't want to hear it." Velvet began to say something but Twilight wouldn't give her the chance. She interrupted, "Spare me your whining mom. With what you wanted to do to me today, a little headache is the least of your problems."
Velvet gave her daughter a glare and sneered, "Well Twily, how does it feel to have killed a centuries old tradition? How does it feel to have killed the very fabric of the maternal side of our family?"
Twilight was both irritated and amused by the question. She gave her mother a huge smile and proudly stated, "It feels liberating, that's what. I feel like I've done the moral thing and killed this disgusting tradition off."
Velvet began to stomp her hoof on the floor and pout. Twilight saw this and continued, "Oh quite your pouting Velvet, you're acting worse than a spoiled little foal."
Velvet continued to pout and yelled, "You know what Twilight, the fact that you did this is basically spitting on your family, spitting on your heritage and spitting on our traditions."
Twilight glared at her mother and asked, "No Velvet, it is me improving our family, it is me ridding our lineage of this filth!"
Velvet glared back at her and mocked, "Oooh, I'm improving the family, I'm ridding our lineage of this filth!" She broke down into a sarcastic laugh, "What does it matter to you anyway? I'm pretty sure that Celestia and Rarity aren't going to know any spells to get you pregnant." Her voice became more snide, "But I could see you using it to knock up Rarity or Fluttershy just to spite me."
Twilight was quickly becoming sick and tired of her mother's behavior. She grabbed her in her aura and ordered, "Velvet, I think it would be best if you got out of here before I do something I regret."
Velvet yelled, "Oh and what....."
Twilight intensified her hold on her mother again, leaving her unable to speak as she pushed her towards the exit. She opened the door and shoved Velvet outside. She pointed her hoof off towards the train station and ordered, "You need to go Velvet and after today, you are no longer welcome in my castle."
Velvet gave her a glare before taking off. Twilight closed the door and felt two different emotions. She felt liberation because she was finally able to get over the fear she had had of her mother's temper but at the time she felt sadness. She never once imagined that Velvet would do something that would warrant her having to forbid her from her home.
