Princess Cadance's journal, recovered by her husband, Prince Shining Armor, is the only clue to her disappearance.

After a fruitless search on behalf of her family, the journal has finally been made public. Despite restoration work on some of the more damaged pages, nothing has been altered or redacted.

(Dissonance, loosely inspired by Lovecraftian horror, takes place after "Twilight's Kingdom" and will mention happenings here and there from Season 5 (and perhaps even Season 6), thus the "Alternate Universe" tag. Artwork, though colored by Longren, belongs to murphylaw4me .)
