My zombie lover
December 30, Hearth's Warming Eve
Previous ChapterIt was a cold winter night, I decided to take a walk around town. It was better than just staying inside the TARDIS. I fixed my scarf, and sat down on a nearby bench. I stared at the stars. It was going to be another lonely winter night. No one to be with. Or at least that's what I thought. I heard a growl at the nearby alley. I turned to see a pony eating a squirrel. She had wings, and yellow hair. I got up, and approached the pony.
"Excuse me?" I said. The pony turned to look at me, and I realized who it was. "Ditzy?" She growled, and approached me. She had blood on her mouth, but otherwise perfectly fine. I then realized she was a zombie. But I froze in terror. The others around me saw us, and ran away. She approached me, teeth showing. I tried to move, but I was too scared. She stopped in front of me, and stopped growling. I calmed down a bit, but still was scared. She backed up, and continued eating the squirrel. I walked up to her, and tapped her shoulder. She looked at me, but didn't try to eat me. I took her hand, and went to the TARDIS. She followed me, without trying to eat me. I was surprised. Normally, she would've tried to chew my face off, but I think it's because I stayed calm. When we saw the TARDIS, she stopped. "Anything wrong?"
"Why urhh yuhh suhh nuce?" she said. It was pretty hard to understand, but I can understand her. I should probably make a translator for her.
"Why didn't you eat me when you had the chance?" I replied.
"Yuhh weren't screamung like the rust."
"I'll make a machine to help you talk." She nodded, and we proceeded inside. "Do you know why you're a zombie?" She shook her head sadly. "What about your home?" She shook her head again. "You could stay with me!" She looked at me with a smile, and hugged me. "Be careful not to scratch me!" A few minutes later, I gave her a pill. She put it in her mouth, and drank the water I put out for her. She coughed, and looked at me.
"Thanks!" she said in her regular voice.
"Is it nice to be a zombie?" I asked.
"I have better hearing, sight, and smelling. So, yeah I guess."
"We should get to bed now, it's pretty late." And so ends our day.
