Ch1. There's a boy in my room.

My body feels hot. What feels like flames is crawling over my skin. Where am I? A light flashes and a voice whispers things to me I can't quite hear.

Then I'm in my room...

I'm standing which is odd since I fairly certain I just woke up from a dream. I wrap my arms around me suddenly feeling ice cold. Did I just black out? I hear something move at my feet and my eyes follow my ears.

There's... A boy in my room!

I jump back and let out a small scream, hiding behind my curtains like it's going to protect me from the intruder in my home. The boy groans. He looks unclothed with the exception of my fluffy fluff blanket...( which consequently I'll be washing after I call the cops...) The boy lifts himself to a crouching position, endangering the blanket of sliding off. My heart rate quickens.

"Stop there!" I say with the small amount of gusto I can muster.

The boy turns to me as if just now realizing I'm there. He glances down at his hands for a moment and his eyes widen like he's never really looked at them before. I gulp when his gaze shifts to me and he begins to get up.

"So... seaka then right?"

A shiver goes down my spine hearing him say my name. This means he must be a talker! I grip the curtain till my knuckles turn white.

"What do you want?"  I ask in a voice even less assured than before.

Strangely he smiles at me. Not really a sinister smile, bit certainly not a kindly one.

"I want nothing." He stands up to his full height (which looks far over six feet makes me shrink back a little) and bows to me.

"I'm here because of your wish."

"My... Wish?"

He looks at me questionably, "Well, more to grant it really..."

I look around my room. I can't be dreaming, there's too much detail for that. Just in case, I glance around to check anything out of order. My sketchbooks line up on my desk lit by white and blue Christmas lights that I couldn't throw away, old jars and bottles filled with anything from bones and snake skin to buttons and sand adorns every open shelf in my room, the mare-do-well light and fan switched off on the ceiling, and even the half finished fan art of various TV shows seems placed to the T on what small amount of wall space I have.

I turn my attention to the boy in my room to study him closer. His horse like ears are a rich black along with his hair. But there's something else. Horns. Two, small black horns stick out the top of his head. Is he half dragon? I tilt to look at his tail... no not really a tail, but more like one of those pointy ended devil's tails you'd see on cheep novelty items.

I point at it, mouth gaping like fish.

"Huh?" he follows my eyes than grins, wiping his tail at the air. "It's new, like it?"

"What...What are you?! "

He bows again. "I told you seaka; I'm the deity you summoned to grant your wish."

I think he's actually telling the truth. I flick my own tail to uncover myself from the curtains.

"So you'll do my bidding huh?"

He nods.

"Then tell me why I don't remember summoning you."

He pauses for a moment longer than necessary making me feel more uneasy.

"I haven't the slightest." His piercing  blue and green eyes stare right through mine.

I have no idea if he's telling the truth. My dad taught me that a lair's eyes wonder but his are fixed at me. Still though. Sometime in the last hour I summoned someone from the underworld!

I'd always had an interest in magic and the supernatural. Even from a young age I would collect bones and old items that I stored in empty jelly jars, jewelry boxes, and make up containers I'd steal from my mother. When I was in middle school I completed what I still think was my first hex; I cursed Duran Hays with TERRIBLE acne 6th grade year. Using a lock of his hair I had cut off with safety scissors on the bus, some mud, a drop of something I liked to call "bad wishes," and ground up bits of bone I think was from a bird I mixed it all up in a 1950's hair cream jar. The next day I slipped a pinch of the stuff in his lunch. 30 minutes later he was puking in the nurses office and left school early. The next day he came back with a face full of pimples.

So as anyone could imagine, I wasn't the most popular girl in school. I like to wear jeans, black short sleeved shirts with army boots and always left my hair and tail out. However I still have friends. Though they didn't really know the extent of my obsession for spells and the unknown.

"So then..." A smile spreads across my face, "I really did it! I conjured some demon thingy!"

"Thingy?"

"Sorry, deity."

"See? Now that's better. "

"Don't talk back to me, you're my dead spirit! So do as I say."

"Ok so what is it you'd have me do?"

It is at this moment my tattered black blanket decided it didn't feel like resting on his hips anymore.

"P-p-put on some cloths please!!"

My name is Seaka Laranski, and I summoned my very own demon.
